Depending what type of casino experience you're looking for, different times of the day make a big difference. There is a much more diverse type of clientele here. Early mornings give you a better chance to play specific slots, much quieter, good parking spots. Gift day afternoons into evenings get busy!!! Bathrooms are usually very clean, slot surfaces deal with usual sticky, ashes, dirty ash trays, someone's old drink. Slot personal usually show quickly. Beverage personal also. The grill on lower level usually has long wait, food is decent. Italian restaurant and bar has nice outdoor dining area, slow service and pricey food. The seafood restaurant by new valet entrance is bright, inviting, pricey, lots of tvs around for sports watching. Outdoor dining offered. Day we were there, they were out of shrimp. The newly remodeled top portion is so lovely, then go down escalators and it's like a different part of town. Nights with live entertainment can be very loud. Also, there's not a No Smoking area available.

So the food at Best Odds (formally known as trandwinds) is not good . I had pretzel bites and so called garlic parmesan totes. The cheese for the bites taste strange and looks like tarter sauce. Pretzels hard like a brick and these totes flat out not worth it. Its a $2 charge for parmesan cheese flakes! They change the menu to this and rised the price! For some sad food . Getting less paying more. Eat before you go!!! It's not how it use to be. Update unfortunately I went back and it just gets worse ask the casino host for assistance he immediately just pushed it off onto someone else who never came! Then he closed down the host office and left ! That's how they do it! They are 100% rude!! It would be a waste of time to come here, literally if I stayed there waiting they probably would have closed down the office in my face wish I could give them zero star.

Most relaxed and positive casino I’ve been to, my blackjack dealer for most of the night was named Daquan(please commend this guy), he was a professional, yet personable and lively dealer, and had good energy. He kept the table I was playing at engaged and talked with us while the shuffler had issues for about 40 minutes. I sadly forgot the pit boss’ name (Update: JT was the pit boss’ name) but he was excellent as well and treated everyone like high rollers and was extremely professional. Overall, it was a great experience and the complimentary fountain drink machine was a very pleasant touch, because I was the designated driver and was happy to be able to have something other to drink than water. I will be back again. Thanks for the great time! Please keep up the great work!

I've never been into giving money to anyone with no reason other than making them richer like casinos and churches. I waited outside for my girlfriend to spend some free gambling money she got in the mail and saw so many people come out of the doors with a look of disgust and sadness on their faces. The city has truly suffered since the boats came to town. There are four times as many pawn shops, so I guess that's cool. Yeah, terrible for everyone but the owners. Glad you asked. Sure, people can have a lucky day but usually it's been paid for times over. This one at least used to look kinda cool and have food. Now it looks like it was designed by the tweakers that make up most of the clientele. SAVE YOUR MONEY EVERYONE. CASINOS SUCK.

In 2022, it's a small-ish, multi-level casino with a few hundred slots and a handful of table games. Upon observation, the majority of the slots were older, but mostly fan-favorites, with reasonable max-bets and good jackpots. I had to take away a star based on the ventilation not doing a very good job of clearing away all the cigarette smoke that permeates the air. My eyes immediately began to sting upon entry. A second star removal is because there is absolutely no incentive to join the players club. No free play. No comps. Nada. No thank you. Parking is free and plentiful, with easy access to the highway. There are signs stating the casino will undergo a $40 Million renovation, so maybe worth another visit later.

This place is so small, you can never get a machine , the drink station is always, always broke down, and if your lucky enough to catch it working, it never has any ice, its so disgustingly gross it makes you cringe, sticky drink spills all over everything, feet stick to the carpet, bits of trash and cigarette ash stuck to the sticky mess. The workers are rude, particularly non existent, never can find one on the floor, you literally have to search for anyone to assist you. It ha changed owners "I think " 5 times and it never gets any better because they leave the same workers and management. The atmosphere is that of a "hood" mentality, for me personally, it's a great big "NO"!!!!

I Have to tell you about this casino! They had a long ways to come to make this area better then the way they found it . Security has stepped thier parking lot safety, staff keep it cleaner then most casinos and if you read my last review I am a changed mind after realizing how much cleaner the games are .the staff are always smiling...wait maybe cause I keep handing them money ...gambling is like most in life good in Moderation but hey we all hope we hit that jack pot , those bells the people stop to see you won 7 dollars!! Good luck and remember this is a experience with a 24 hr friend near you Bally's I hope to be a lucky winner soon!! Pictures are copyright/ zero filters

Wow, I thought the 60 million renovation on the outside was amazing! The people are very pleasant working there. However, going inside the route had trash init. Then there was homeless man sleeping on the ground in the foyer before heading in. The inside still resembles of the Isle of Crapi without the fans that were at the ceiling. Same chairs looking wore out. Same carpeting with a new Tiki bar. The bar menu were sticky. I hope they are going to do renovations on the inside. Ballys is a brand of casinos but ,they seem to overlook this place. So, disappointed after visiting the other night. I will never come back to this casino and I live in downtown KCMO.

It's a fun place to go with friends. I have been a few times, never won anything really, but like I said, fun with friends. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you have a little self control, you can play 2-3 hours on $30-$40. Heck, one time, I played for an hour on $1! That is rare though. Just go in without expectations of winning, and have fun. Who knows, if you do hit on a good win, then hey, you had fun plus a bonus of some extra cash. Lots and lots of slots to play here, plus you can play blackjack, craps, poker etc....

They have updated the outside of the building which looks amazing. They still need to update their electronic games. The only electronic game they have is roulette so if you're looking for Blackjack/Big 6 or any other electronic table games, forget it. The slot machines don't payout very well from my personal experience either. On the good side, they do have several new and updated slot machines so hopefully their slots will loosen up.

No sign up comps no free slot play for new players window clerks were ehh , its still a floating barge but nicer than Argosy Illinois is. Games had actually a really good selection. Major hit was the nothing for new players when boasting a 54 million dollar renovation coming next year but nothing for the new revenue when EVERY other casino does something at least. So check it out just don't expect much on the newbie block.

As we pulled in, we were greeted by a naked overweight knee hanging lady, giving relations to the cops. Casino is 96.7% slots. There's only 1 table per game, cheap tables overpacked, 12min in between roulette rolls. Staff at the cashout area was rude. As we lost all our money we got back to the lot to have the car next to us getting the sloppinest top north of the river. Clean place though. Definitely not going back.

This place is just dirty.. don’t be fooled by the new outside renovations the inside is the same as before. All the machines were visibly filthy, the drinks from the bar weren’t great. The vibe is just off here. The entire place stinks.. hopefully there will be some major improvements since the new current stadium is going up just across the highway. This casino doesn’t exactly attract good company. Will not be back.

I actually like this casino and would rate a 5 but I’m only giving two stars because out of all the casinos the cigarette smoke is heavy here. You may have updated the casino but you forgot about the ventilation and filtration system. After your visit you will have to shower and wash your clothes. Surprisingly enough I’m a smoker myself and it’s bother some.

This casino is rapidly evolving into a hotel and casino. All the construction everywhere does not negatively impact the simplicity of entering or exiting this establishment, as well as any of the gaming and promotions. The abundance of free play here seems to help take focus off evolving construction and make this experience a worthwhile expense.

I would give no stars if possible. First visit on a Friday night. Beautiful outside. Inside was completely different. Old barstools with shredding vinyl. Old games covered in ashes and grime. The whole casino was so smoky it was nauseating. Smell of alcohol and vomit. $20 in and I had to go. Ballys is less than entertaining and unsanitary.

  • Duncan Bishop

Not a great place. Only a handful of tables with the rest being slots. Tables are $15 min. Food/beverage options are limited but at least the tiki bar is fun. Service is decent and prices fairly low, but just a lot of people down on their luck looking to hit it big -- rather than folks trying to have a good time. Sad to see.

  • Lola Davis

Its a lil casino lol Bright lights and noise from the machines! You can get free drinks or order alcohol beverages and food. Security st the front that you walk in by ate always the nicest staff!! They always smile and don't seem fake. The other staff is ok. Chill environment, as chill as a casino can be lol

  • J Barce

Post renovation; the outside looks nicer, newer. The inside, not so much. I liked what they did with the bar. The tiki bar makeover looks good, but the drinks/cocktails are bad. They do not taste good, so the safe route is to stick to beer. The inside overall looks and feels the same; boring.

Lipstick on a PIG! They changed the name but nothing else. I’m not sure where they took photos but this is what we pulled up to. PLEASE if you’re in the mood to give away money DONT do it here. It is a sad and tired environment. Bally should be ashamed to put their name on this dumpster!

  • Vik Scotty

It's definitely an older casino. Caters to people with lower budgets. Craps $15 on weekdays. Beer $5. Old machines with broken buttons. Very nice noodle Cafe, good food. Dealers are not smiling and grumpy. I like happy places, this is not. Close to town. I will drive further next time.

Went to eat at Celebrity! The service, atmosphere, and food was great! Everyone in the restaurant from the gentleman that seated us to the hostess to the waitress was fabulous. It was a new experience for me that I'd like to do again! Can't wait for another date night with my husband.

  • James Hyde (Denver James)

Need to have roulette table open. Electronic doesn't cut it. Get there at 5:15 they told me they're going to open it at 6:00. Waited till 7:00, a lot of people walking up wanting to play and walking off. You should always have this table open. Totally wasted my time lame.

The temporary changes are a bit confusing but it due to new construction. We played about 3 slots until playing one that was really fun. We were there for about 3 hours. We came out with a nice return for playing. We had a really good time on this machine.

  • Jan White

We almost never went here before Ballys took over. Now it is our favorite casino. It has improved so much. Of course we hardly ever win, but that is what it is all about. Still plenty of fun and the food at the new restaurant was amazing.

  • Jo anna Ray

As much ss these people are losing in your casino u could provide them transportation to kc ride hub instead you make all of us working miss our connections snd late going home. Will i step onto your casino over these delays HELL No!

  • Amber Bainter

Fun casino and lots of events, but the NYE Dj was pretty awful. He talked through all the songs and did a count down every 3 minutes starting from like 158 minutes. It was pretty annoying. Usually pretty good otherwise though

  • Bryan H

New entrance remodel is finally done. Of course it looks nice. Part of the casino floor was being worked on. Will have to check it out when they are finished. Still have not done anything with the closed buffet space.

  • Frances Tann

Had a lot if fun, on a busy Saturday night, won a little on 1st machine played. Had a lot of machines to pick from, also has table games and large bar in the middle. Fun atmosphere

  • Heather DeHardt

First time experience and couldn't be happier! I never felt discouraged at the slot machines and the slots they had actually made sense and they paid out and the were fun!

  • Brent Baker

Great place. Lots of daily freeplay awarded. Free valet parking for leveled up members. Many new and old slots. Table games as well. Constantly expanding and improving.

  • Nick Romaldini

New renovations look nice, otherwise it's pretty small and for some reason there's a clear culture of people holding spots at slots and just sitting not playing.

  • Suzanne M

Excellent food in the lounge. I forgot to take pics of the main course and dessert. I was enjoying the food too much. Anthony is super sweet and accommodating!

  • ALICIA PRESHA

Parking was easy, plenty of machines. Not too many tables but I was a blessing to get a spot when desired. I will definitely be back

  • veronica mann

Slot machines paid, but the down side is this is a smoking facility. That was the only negative thing. Otherwise, I had a good time.

  • Craig Wilson

First visit since Bally took over this place it is nice I guess I have dinner there and the food and service were OUTSTANDING

  • Ella Theresa Henry-Tuani

Love the location and especially free drinks and food was great. You just have to check it out yourself. ❤ …

  • Tonya Maddox

The face-lift was needed. The exterior looks great! Still could use some updating in the restrooms.

  • Shaun Morton

Me and the Hubs love to come here and unwind. Winning also helps …

  • Shad Kearns

Not many table games, slots are pretty tight.
