Open parking with ample space, tar road, tree shade. Charges are ₹30 for two-wheelers (high in my view) and ₹50 for cars. I was charged ₹30 for my 1 two wheeler. It is about 200m+ from entry gate so you need to walk (anyways you will be prepared for walk in zoo). Note that you really don't need to walk back to entry gate, instead walk towards far end of car park (extreme right after entering) and from there you can walk to ticket counter, this is much shorter.

Safari was the limelight here. Book online in advance. You have option to book AC/non AC Bus /Jeep/Innova. Non AC Jeep for 3500 Rs was a good deal in which Zoo and Butterfly park was also included in addition to Safari. Cheapest option would be non AC Bus for an individual. Hero seats upto 6 people. Best option is to book for 10-11 am safari and reach the spot at least 15 minutes earlier.

Nice open space for parking. Really well maintained and huge space available for parking 2 and 4 wheelers as well as bus and travellers. Currently online option also available to book the parking ticket.

Best place for day outing in Bangalore for kids. Only concern is the over crowd during weekends, which is the case with any touristy place these days.

Zoo is under renovation. Avoid it for at least 6 more months. Safari is not good during weekdays. Most of the animals are indoors.

Best kids outing, enough open sky parking, not much good restaurant service inside zoo campus
