The Maj in Surabaya is an amazing place. Stumbled upon this gem of a place in the historic old Majapahit Hotel basically in search of strong Wifi to download updates to a pair of new phones. Our accommodation at the time was a trashy , seedy old place up the north end of town near the docks. This was a perfect example of 2 older style places, 1 had been let go with no maintenance or housekeeping skills, the Hotel Majapahit on the other hand had benefited greatly from attention over the years and is now a historic attraction. The Bar was clean, functional, efficient in service with happy energetic staff. Drinks flowed well into the night. Keenly priced, free Billiards table and an ambiance that remains strong in mind. Will return

The MAJ Pub and Dining merupakan salah satu Bar yang wajib dikunjungi kalau main ke Surabaya. Berlokasi di dalam salah satu hotel bintang 5 di Surabaya yaitu Hotel Majapahit Surabaya tentunya the MAJ memiliki style heritage atau kolonial. Walupun begitu Bar ini tetep nyaman untuk sekedar dibiuat kongkow-kongkow,ngopi maupun minum bir sambil menikmati Live Music yang hampir setiap hari ada. Kita juga bisa pesen makanan dari restoran lain di hotel ini untuk disantap di dalam Bar sambil menikmati minuman favorit. Dan yang pasti staf Bar nya sangat friendly dan helpfull.

I personally like the ambience, where I can actually eat and having fun at the same time. There is live music everyday except Sunday. I have to admit, the home band is real good. If you're looking for a chill place to have some drink whether it's wine, beer, or whiskey, I recommend you this place. This place is in Majapahit Hotel, you will notice the MAJ sign on your left from Jl Tunjungan. Parking is fine, but if you're not really into walking after drinking I think you better park your car right in front of the hotel, or just get a vallet parking.

Tempatnya nyaman perpaduan nuansa heritage dikemas dengan live music modern. Soundnya keras tapi gak berisik jadi masih bisa ngobrol santai. Posisi duduk lebih nyaman di sofa pinggir deket jendela apalagi kalau weekend pasti ramai dibagian tengah. Untuk menu standart hotel pasti enak dan harganya lumayan pricy. Disini enaknya ngebir + camilan, menu bir andalannya Draught Beer harga 1 gelasnya 90rb dan lumayan bikin tipsy. Mau enak beli yg 1 pitcher hehe.

Tempat nya kuno. . Model belanda. . Tempatnya dingin dan bersih. Toiletnya juga bersih. Pelayan annya cepat serta terswdia makanan ringan dan makanan berat juga Di sana bisa minum beer dgn ada band. Ada meja billiar juga Buka dari sore tutup jam 2. Harga beernya +- 500rb an Dan di sana juga tersedia wine import dan juga wine dari bali dari harga 500rb an Dan juga parkirnya bisa memakai fasilitas hotel vallet parkir. Biaya nya free

Sebuah pilihan tempat hiburan malam yang menawarkan konsep yang berbeda. Berada di dalam hotel Majapahit sehingga memiliki suasana yang klasik namun elegan. Catatan, bagi anda yang datang kesini dan minum hingga sedikit mabuk maka akan lebih baik jika anda memarkirkan kendaraan anda didepan mengingat jauhnya area gedung parkir. Jika tidak mau repot, anda bisa menyerahkan kendaraan anda pada petugas parkir khusus.

Gak mau kesini lagi, masa gw beli satu botol di charge dua botol. Lah dikira gw mabok apa?? Mas2 bartendernya pake sok baik ngomong gratis satu botol deh tapi waktu di gesek kartu malah di charge doble dari harga menu. Trus alesannya katanya harga di menu belom diganti, wow gila yah harganya dua kali lipat. Mau nipu gini banget sih, dah gitu vibesnya juga kurang.

Fun place for a night out with friends. They specialized in pletok beer which every table ordered based on my visit. All the staffs are super friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of ventilation, prepare to come home smelling like cigarette smoke as it latches to your clothing and hair.

Suka banget sama konsep barnya... bener-bener kayak bar-bar di Eropa atau Amerika yang bisa minum bir sendirian di barnya. Ambiencenya cocok. Lagunya juga lumayan oke. Bir pletoknya lumayan joss.

Probably the only Irish Pub in town. Great atmosphere. Part of the legendary Hotel Majapahit, located in the main thoroughfare, Jalan Tunjungan. Live band on weekends (check the schedule before visit, during pandemic there might be some changes)

I ordered a burger, it was cold and for a price not acceptable. I forgot to make a picture but it was terrible. Beer is ok, band is playing also ok, no guest but it was maybe to early 21:30. otherwise the place could be good.

It's a pretty good bar! I like the ambience of it. It's rather an old school bar, with some old school song. The price is not that high too, considering it's in 5stars hotel. I'll definitely visit here more in the future!

I thought that because it was part of a hotel it would be very upscale, but it was nice and full of locals with a good atmosphere. Only thing is it was incredibly smokey, nearly everybody was smoking.

Pub ini baik-baik saja. Saya tidak pergi ke tempat lain di Surabaya jadi saya tidak bisa membandingkannya. Layanannya bagus. Tapi pub agak gelap dan suram.
