Harry was so professional, super kind, helpful, and answered all my questions. I have never called in a locksmith before and Harry was very attentive to answer all my queries and needs. Harry's job is the first point of contact and the fact he is so professional and kind on the phone made me comfortable to go ahead with Barrenjoey. I had Aiden come down and do the job for the locks and Craig (the technician) do the keypad lock for my gate. Aiden and Craig are extremely professional and experienced with what they do. I am so happy with Aiden and Craig's job and what they did with my door locks and the new keypad. The whole experience was incredible and easy to deal with. Aiden and Craig were both on time (although sometimes a little earlier), super quick, very friendly and didn't leave until we had thoroughly tested the key locks and the keypad for the gate. Recently contacted Barrenjoey Locksmiths for assistance to replace some locking bolts to our bi-fold doors at our home in Mosman. Upon phoning them, I was greeted with the usual professional and courteous representative, (Hi Matt), who booked the job in for the next morning as it was not an urgent job to quote. I am accustomed to their excellent service from past experiences and they never disappoint. Chris arrived next morning, as promised, quoted the job and returned a week later with the parts and completed the installation. Chris is a polite, genuine, professional and knowledgeable tradesman and it was a pleasure to have him working in our home, as are all the other tradesman we have met from Barrenjoey on previous jobs. I never write reviews, but this was so frustrating I'm going to. Booked in the appointment 4 days in advance, the locksmith rang while my girlfriend was in the bathroom and didn't wait 30 seconds before leaving. We then called the office who said they would contact the locksmith. They didnt and we ended up calling back 30 min later at which point they said it was impossible to get the locksmith back. Stuart was rude and confrontational on the phone when he was telling me that the locksmith had tried to call me 10x. I said that it must have been the wrong number which he tried to blame on me. He did confirm that the number in their system was different than mine, and at no point did he apologize. Unreliable and rude.

We had a problem with the front door of the apartment we are renting on a late Sunday afternoon. half our family were outside and half inside we couldn't open the door at all. Barrenjoey responded to our call after trying 3 other locksmiths who promoted 24 hr service but couldn't do or didn't want to do the job. They took the call and gave us an indication on arrival time and did so earlier. the job was difficult from what we observed but it was done efficiently and with a minimum of fuss by a wonderful tradesman. Didn't have the part and had to drive back to his depot. We were very satisfied with Barrenjoey and thoroughly recommend their services. Excellent job.

Total waste of time, how this company stays in business is beyond me. Booked an online quote for security camera installation and no one called back to confirm told me that they didn't get the enquiry. Booked over the phone and had an 8am appointment first thing Monday morning, no one showed up, I called them ( they didn't even have the coutesy to call me ) and was told that the person supposedly coming, had gone to a FUNERAL.... at 8am in the morning, sounds to far fetched to be believable. Wish I had read other people's reviews before wasting my time with this company.

I needed to get into a set of drawers late on Friday afternoon. Turned up at 3:15pm and I was greeted with smiling faces and received friendly service! In no time at all they had the drawers unlocked and I headed back to my parents home knowing that “Dad’s disaster” had been averted and the weekend would be peaceful! To say they saved my life is only a slight overstatement. But anyone who gives such excellent service at the end of the week rates high in my book! Thanks to Danielle and Phil and the boys!

I can't really comment on the value, as I'm no expert on the price of alarm components. However, when our home alarm system failed, Barrenjoey technicians arrived on time and performed a very thorough testing regime. In the end, it was agreed that the old system needed to be replaced, and this was completed on time and within the quoted price. The techies were polite, competent and professional, and answered all our questions along the way. We are very happy with the result. Highly recommended.

Our home security alarm system was installed by Barrenjoey Locksmiths in 1992 and has been in continuous dependable operation ever since. It has been, and continues to be, serviced by Barrenjoey Locksmiths, usually needing only replacement of a standby battery every few years. This was the case recently. Another locksmith who wasn’t available recommended that I call Barrenjoey. I was locked in my bedroom & feeling a bit overwhelmed. The person I spoke to at Barrenjoey Lockmiths kindly stayed on phone & first tried guiding me to solve the problem. Broken door lock and handle Monday 4pm. Called Nick @ Barrenjoey Locksmiths - said he could come between 8-9pm same day after finishing other jobs, would call me when 30 mins away. He did exactly that, arrived at 8pm on the dot. The fix was not complex, just needed someone who knew what they were doing. Executed efficiently and neatly and with good advice about how to discuss the charges with the building strata management. Strong recommend - thanks Nick !

On the advice of our door repairman, I rang to ask about a specific key. However the counter was busy serving other customers and offered to call back. They did! and after a short discussion with Phil I found I was able to just drop in and pick up what I needed. Professional, simple and friendly to deal with. No fuss at all unlike our strata!

Professionalism and dedication I am from the Randwick area and had tried to find a locksmith that was able to cut keys for a Subaru towbar. We had a wonderful experience. We needed to fit a smart lock and had been previously turned away by two locksmiths because they didn't like the make we had chosen. They are well priced, quick and do a quality job. I got some spare keys cut. I have had some terrible experiences with other vendors getting the keys to work in the locks. Barrenjoey Locksmiths cut my spare keys with a good quality key and it worked in my locks first time.
