Went in at 1745 for a few good bottles of local wine. Upon entering I sanitised my hands and there were no signs on the door that clearly stated the rules of the store. Upon entering I kept 2m away from the other customer (as per local guidelines) and was rudely told “only one to an isle” when there was three people already in the isle including him. Looking at bottles there was no recommendations on most of the wines, so I picked one up to read about it and the attendant snapped “don’t touch the wine unless you’re buying it.” My response to the man was to walk out in order to fix his problem. During a lockdown when people are all buying online I would think someone coming in well dressed in a designer outfit would indicate that he had some money to spend. As a customer we are not here to be abused and if you want people to follow the rules make it clear in big writing on the entrance. Further to this if customers leave empty handed you’re not going to turn a profit.

I dropped in and I found an amazing selection of all things wine and more – including a great little selection of out-of-the-ordinary beers. The knowledgeable and helpful owners have done magic in condensing all the Yarra Valley and the nearby Ranges have to offer - so if you run out of time visiting all the wineries you can go here and absorb the highlights in the one space. Well worth the visit.

Rude and arrogant frog man The man wearing glasses and a French hat was so rude. We bought a lot of bottles of wine and spent a lot of money. The man stuffed all the bottles of wine in a bag…and would not give more paper bags and we struggled carrying bottles 2 buses and two trains away from out hotel. Was seriously rude when asked for a spare paper bag. Rude!

What an absolute breath of fresh air with Mike and Claire the new owners. They have created a beautiful space with so much thought as to the wine and other drinks available. Its now a fave of ours to pop in for a bottle or two or sit in the window with a glass and watch the world go by. Such a welcoming environment.

This location no longer does tastings as indicated on the main photo. Has a very wide range of wines as one would expect. Small range of beers and ciders. Somewhat limited selection of spirits but they do appear to be more unique options rather than just easy to find spirits.

Placed an online order after speaking to the proprietor who really knew the local wines and growers well. My wine was dispatched pronto through Australia Post and arrived well ahead of time and in great order. Many thanks - looking forward to popping in in person

My wife and I were attended to by the friendly gentleman who owns the store. We bought a few bottles of the Mount Mary (Triolet 2020 and Quintet 2017) as well as Yarra Yering (both the Chardonnay (2nd wine) and the dry red). Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Great store and very accessible. Plenty of space for wheelchairs to move around, and friendly staff who assisted people with intellectual disabilities to choose a drink that’s right for them. My friend tasted a red wine and he was delighted.

The owner, Mike, was absolutely lovely, knowledgeable, offered amazing service and just a genuinely incredible soul! I would definitely recommend to anyone either local or just stopping by! Definitely the highlight of my weekend away!

New owner, Mike clearly has a passion for and a deep knowledge of everything wine. It is impressive that he knows many of the winemakers personally. He is friendly and helped us select wines that were perfect for us.

Wines are of great quality and read prices. I ordered today, they called to see if I wanted a gift card as it was going to a friend and same day delivery (within Healesville). Staff member was friendly and warm.

Brilliant - one of very few places that had any stock of a particular local wine. Ordered on a Thursday, was delivered on Friday. Loved the little note inside recommending similar varietals from other wineries.

Mike was amazing, really knowledgeable about the wines and so kind. We did a wine tasting and asked us about what wines we liked/disliked and made the whole wine tasting experience tailored to us. Thank you!

I was in Melbourne as a visitor and wanted a bottle of Malfy Blood Orange Gin. I looked online and it was avaliable only in Melbourne. Yay!! I found it in Healsville. Well worth the trip from Sydney.

A credit to the new owners, Barrique has a great selection of wine, champers and beer, really friendly service and it is such a nice place for a spontaneous glass of vino in the afternoon.

Super helpful, extremely knowledgeable re wines of the area and sell really tastey wine at a respectable price point. If in healsville, don't dare go to a regular big liquor store

Visited for a look and glass of wine on Friday. The place looks fabulous it's had a lovely freshen up by the new owners. Welcoming feel, great range. A new regular methinks.

The service, the food,the wines and atmosphere first rate. Have yet to be disappointed. Real old fashioned hospitality. Hard to find in restraunt these days.

Unique little shop. Walk on in, taste a couple of delicious local wines, buy a glass ( or bottle) and enjoy it whilst browsing their wine selection.

Huge variety of locally made and distilled products here as well as not so local. Not many beers anymore though. Friday night is tasting night.

Excellent range of wines. A perfect spot to grab a takeaway or sit and enjoy a glass of vino by the fire in the courtyard. Friendly service.
