I can't reach any phone at Galeão Air Base. I need to contact the Transit Hotel. I've even tried calling the control room and the same message says that the phones are faulty or switched off. I've been trying on tel.(21) 2138-4205 and 2462 - 3601 for 3 (three days) and nothing.

- you can buy Sim card in pharmacy in the end of the terminal 2. They charge 80 reals for sth like 20 GB for a month. On the airport website in FAQ there are two more places stated, so it might be good to check them out too

Well organized place, clean bathrooms, internal snack bar, reception with cable TV, external parking area, we were well attended to on site

Too bad, there is a lot of information missing, such as the bus lines that run there, the itineraries of the place.
