I came to basic nails today for the first time to get my feet nails and lashes done. After trying all of the nail salons in Canarsie and having no luck, I am pleased to say that I finally found a nail salon that I resonate with. Helen and Tom are amazing! Tom took his time giving me close to design I wanted, and Helen did amazingly on my feet and lashes. I found this place to be cheaper than Touch nails, where I would not have been able to do my also do my lashes even though it came to the same price! I am definitely coming back , thank you again Tom and Helen !!!

From the time I walked in I felt welcome. The place was so bright and airy. I was greeted right away and served with water and a snack. The conversation was very friendly. I had a spa pedicure and half leg wax. I can tell you this will be my new to go to spot! It’s so convenient and anyone who knows me I love convenience and great service! Newly opened nail salon, previous owners retired, we will miss them. ❤️ Decided to go in and try the new owners. Had a gel manicure and gel pedicure with Helen and she did an amazing job. Gave me a much needed shoulder massage for free. Thank you. Her husband held a moms baby, while she had her nails done, now that's what I call a family run business. The place is quite modern and cozy, friendly and greet each client with a small bottled of water. Service was great, no complaints. See you on my next visit.

I came for just a regular pedicure but then my husband upgraded me to a spa pedicure. Best decision ever! This location is very clean and has a parking lot which is super convinent! They have a large color selection, the staff were very friendly and every pedicure station has a massage chair with multiple settings. Truly the best pedicure experience I've had since moving back to canarsie and I will be coming back again!

As man who likes to be well groomed with my hands and feet, Fellas this is the place to go. I’ve followed my lady Helen from when she was in BX and she is . Trust me bros. Ladies, Tom and Nick have done and do great work. I’ve seen it first hand when they were in BX too. Everyone is friendly and cool and the place is well kept and clean. Stop by you won’t be disappointed….

I have been Doing My Nails with Hellen the owner and her Husband Tom for over 6 years now before they open this location. They are amazing and very professional and their service and expertise is impecable. I recommend everyone come give them a try you will not regret it and the prices are great. FYI I travel all the way from the Bronx and wouldn’t trade them.

Basic Nails, Is pretty new but you are getting top quality services. The owners are very nice and welcoming, The owners daughter specialized in nails designs , she is amazing. This best pedicure I have ever had in 27 years living in the neighbor. Try them you would not be disappointed. And the place is so clean. Erica

Tom, Nick, and Helen are absolutely wonderful. I randomly stopped by to see if they’d be able to take me as a walk-in and I had no issues. They were quick and efficient and did a wonderful job in my gel pedi! I will definitely be back :)

Helen does a great job doing my mani pedi. I get the spa every time and it lasts for weeks! she also gives me a complimentary neck/shoulder massage every-time I get a manicure.

I got the spa pedicure with gel included. Helen did an amazing job! Overall a very relaxing experience and I love how soft my feet feel!

Tom did my nails great job. Eelen did my feet it was the best. The place is clean and they welcome you nicely also very professional.

Basic nails is replacing Ultra nails. Nick does a great job on the men’s mani pedi. Will continue to support new business.

The service was great but the designs doesn’t last a day. I got a chrome French tip and the tips are already coming off
