Honestly such a hidden gem, scared to give this place a 5 star because I don’t want it to ever have a wait list! We came in randomly last minute and they had a beautiful table, with a view of the ocean! We sat down and someone came over quickly with water and a greeting! The happy hour is fantastic! Great prices for delicious food and drinks! We finally decided on the sesame crusted ahi tuna wonton crisps and the chicken drumettes… 15 mins later the food we ordered hit the table next to us, and I heard one of the idiots at the table say “we didn’t order this, but looks delicious” and grabs one of the drumettes and starts digging in. I knew instantly that our order had been given away.. Our server Carolina came over right away and apologized! She said we wouldn’t pay for the items, (thank goodness) because by the time we revived our food we had been waiting almost 40 minutes for our food! But once they arrived, OMG they are like Asian style tuna tacos!!!! So delicious and the drumettes are delicious but I recommend getting the sauce and cheese on the side so the chicken is nice and crispy! We then ordered the Yorkie puddings! It comes with 4 and they are SOOOO YUMMY! Highly recommend! As well as the Pistachio crusted Mahi Mahi.. the potatoes were heavenly! The asparagus so good! The Mahi Mahi was a little chewy.. but I still enjoyed it! Thank you so much to Carolina for making the experience amazing, as I was celebrating a new job!!! ✨

Had a great night at my favourite late night watering hole as per usual. Just wanted to drop a line to say how commendable both the Manager Des and Justin were. After helping a young woman who looked like she was ready to retire from the bar and making sure she had the means to get home safely they offered to bring her belongings to her and had their doorman get her belongings. Unfortunately he grabbed a coat from a near by table thinking this was hers. Turned out the other table didn’t realize it was a genuine mistake by the doorman. I overheard both Des and Justin apologizing and saying it was their mistake and were willing to make amends as they had given the wrong coat. They did resolve to make sure the right items were with the right owners before they left. Once again I love the professionalism and courteous nature all of the staff treat me and other patrons with. Des Justin Jack Hugo Jamie Carolina Nicole and all of the rest of the crew are amazing. Bayside is such a great place to call home away from home . Sincere thanks guys. You rock as always. Tom

Have you ever been in a nightclub and wished you could sit down and just have some food? That's what this place is like. It's a low-key, casual, busy and mood lit atmosphere with fair drinks, pub grub and hard working servers. It's got a great view of English Bay if you're sat by the window, and the spherical bar is fun. I think what could've been better was the music. Maybe their DJ was just starting out? He did sound like he was new to mixing music, which was a shame as we were sitting by the DJ booth. If the mixes had been better, we would've stayed longer and most likely ordered another round of drinks. I would consider this place as possibly my second or third stop on a night of bar hoping, but not a place I'd have dinner and my first round of cocktails. Just personal taste.

A friend and I decided to stop by here as we really liked what we saw on the menu online. We got here in time for happy hour. There was a decent amount on the happy hour menu and the prices were pretty good too. The food was super delicious for bar food. I would love to go back again to try other items on their menu. Great service. Our server was wonderful. Do keep in mind this isn’t a super fancy place and it isn’t overly big either. The restaurant is set up where when you enter, you there’s a few casual tables to the left to sit. When you go further down, the places turns in to a circular shape with the bar in the middles and tables surrounding it.

A few friends and I decided to head to this lounge during their happy hour for a couple of beers. The establishment had a decent selection of beer, however, the service left something to be desired. Perhaps it was due to the crowded nature of the lounge during that time, but the waiter and waitress were not readily available. In fact, I had to request water twice before it was finally brought to the table. Additionally, my second beer took longer than expected to be served. Despite the lackluster service, the atmosphere of the lounge was enjoyable. The view of English Bay through the window was particularly impressive and added to the overall ambiance.

This is my go to place if i want a nice view of English bay. The window is round so its neat. They changed their menu! Its fancier food than i remember but still sooooo good. Prices are great too. Get an appy for 5$ or a meal for 14-20$ Looks like they serve mostly wines and beers as said on their new menu But ive come here for fun cocktails and pitchers. My bf got the ravioli nice and cheesy with tomatos I got pad thai salad. Got a nice kick to it so if you dont do spicy, watch out. And its almost like the carrots and cucumber are shredded like pasta...super neat...and great flavours!

Their cocktails are the best!!! The waiter (seems to be the bartender as well) is very knowledgable in cocktails, great in customer service too. The music is kinda loud (live DJ) and there are ceiling speakers everywhere, so in the evening it's not a great place to have a quiet talk. The vibe is perfect for a happy get-together/celebration though!

JUSTIN was very disrespectful when approached us the 2 time and he was very arrogant and did not get our order right and honestly I have never been treated like that before and personally I am not that type of a guy who would really complain about this but genuinely this guy needs more experience when it comes to communicating. If it was possible I would not even rate this place 1 star extremely very disappointed

I tried to visit the place yesterday after the fireworks but they were charging $10 at the entrance, so we ended up going to CRAFT which is close and satisfaction guaranteed. The security personnel at the entrance who was charging the $10 only took cash, which felt a little bit suspicious... Anyways, there are plenty options around that do not charge anything to dine in...

Pretty good menu selection with lots of unique options. Prices were actually quite reasonable for Vancouver. The circular dining room was pretty cool, had a decent view of English Bay too. We stayed for trivia night after dinner and had an awesome time.

A West-End destination for a reason: this funky turret-shaped bar, with a stunning view of Vancouver’s English Bay, should be considered mandatory for visitors and locals alike. The drinks are very good (Caesars are amongst the best in Van), and the food is great. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but not a big deal. Definitely check this place out; perfect for a date!

$5 happy hour prices in a great location with views. In fact. We had one of the “worse” tables and views (the place was full on a Sunday. We were just happy to get in!! And you can still see the lovely beach. Will return for appy hour eats, they looked awesome going to the other tables

OUTSTANDING! I haven't been here in so many years, so i thought I'd check this out since so many places on Christmas Eve are closed. I'm so glad I did!! The food is downright brilliant and with a huge selection, the prices are cheap, service is top-notch and friendly, and the view is spectacular. This sure won't be my last time here!!

Think again if you wanted to order crispy fried chicken burger! Don’t think it’ll be the one you see on google map photos of Bayside. Absolutely terrible and when asked for replacement, they simply said it’s going to be the same even if we replace it.

The food was actually really good, the servers were both polite and gave decent service. There is a live dj here upstairs. Nice vibes people are dancing having a great time and the service and food are good. So far so good!! The bartender guy is good looking and looks like he's loving his job!

We had a great time for our friend’s birthday. Justin was our server and couldn’t have been any nicer and even remembered all of our names on a table of 15! DJ Aaron was also blasting the tunes! Food and service was top notch!

Very nice place with a great view, much cheaper than the other restaurants in the area with lesser views. The Happy hour menu is great, the checouterie board is great because of the hummus.
