This place has a cafeteria upstairs too although the quality of the coffee is not good. The place upstairs is empty most of the times so it’s good if you are looking for a super quiet place. I am not a big fan of the bread there but I love the bakery and pastries (apple flap, croissants…)

Great ethical bakery selling gorgeous breads and baked goods. Recommend everything! Check out their website to see what the different breads are before your go. They don’t always have everything at the start of the day so if you miss the almond croissants go back later!

Heerlijk brood, spelt brood haal ik meestal net uit mijn nachtdienst. Het brood is zo lekker, dat ik daar meer dan zuinig mee ben. Helaas is het prijzig, mijn tip: altijd meteen wat in de vriezer stoppen! = langer plezier!

Very soft and tasty bread with a nice chew to it! While I do love a hard crust bread, the multi grain I bought here stayed pillow-soft for 2.5 days in a vacuum box, you can't beat that …

Very rude, poor assortiment: no gluten-free bread (how is that possible?), coffee was too sour, that all for an expensive price.. (Save your money and go to the bakery opposite the street.)

Obviously some people commenting here does not know what real bread is. The organic baguette is one of the greatest I had in Amsterdam, for a fair price (1.95€ for organic quality).
