I've been a customer at Bel Fiore's for a couple years now. It is my preferred flower shop and in my opinion is by far the best in quality, selection and customer service. Even with my student budget, I've always left with flowers and plants that look amazing and last for a long time. The banana flower pictured is still in my windowsill and was given to me at Valentine's day over a month ago. Minoo is an amazing shop owner that delivers friendly customer service far beyond typical small talk, inquiring about your life and then actually remembering it when next you come in. She is always looking to add new and interesting flowers beyond the classics, which is something I appreciate. My partner and I around anniversaries, birthdays, and valentine's day have to time our visits so that we don't bump into each other and ruin the surprise since both of us always go to Bel Fiore for special occasions. I've also been impressed with the shops rotating selection of indoor plants. I have a sizeable collection of my own and am always looking to check more off my list and Minoo regularly manages to get some in (like the mistletoe cactus pictured) that I haven't seen any other shops carry and which are typically hard to find. In summation, Bel Fiore is the best!

My first experience with Bel Fiore was amazing! I was on a mission to buy Chinese lantern flowers for a family friend's 70th birthday. After calling many shops, I discovered that Bel Fiore was one of the few that had them this fall. So I popped in to check out the stock. Originally I was just going to pick up however many branches my budget would cover. But the magical feel inside the shop inspired me to inquire what else could be done. Minoo, the owner, was wonderful! She is very passionate and creative. She listened to the story of the person and occasion for which i wanted an arrangement and came up with wonderful ideas - symbols of longevity, mixture of water and air flowers, a sculpture of sorts. The result was fantastic!! (And a bit of a steal as she put in more effort than the budget covered) I was very impressed with the selection and service during my visit to Bel Fiore, I've raved about it and shared this photo with my friends many times. The arrangement was a big hit for the recipient - he thought it was gorgeous! Thank you, Minoo! I will be back :-)

This is the most amazing florist shop I have ever seen. The owner is so artistic and creative that you find containers and flowers you don't see anywhere else. She knows everything about each kind of plant and is able to understand your need to make a gift to someone. I even brought several of her containers for my family in Paris and they loved them ! Because I do flower arrangements myself, I have very specific needs she is always able to meet. Every time I go, I discover something different and it inspires me to try another type of floral arrangement. We are so fortunate to have her on Elgin St. She is so efficient, hard-working, intelligent and honest. I can't speak highly enough about Bel Fiore and Minoo. Truly a pleasure to work with! Minoo was helpful throughout the entire planning process and was happy to make my vision work within the budget I had available. She was accommodating and willing to adapt to my requests but also kind enough to make suggestions and nudge me in the right direction. She was great at communicating and was able to provide excellent pieces (despite me reaching out to her with a last minute request). I was taking flowers to two patients in the hospital and she took into consideration the hospital temperature and the fact that they don’t allow scented flowers there, even though I’d forgotten about that. She carefully helped me choose the perfect flowers, and packaged them in a way that I didn’t have to worry at all about how they would do in the drive. I recently visited this flower shop for the first time and the lady at the counter not only helped me find everything I needed but she was so polite and pleasant to talk to; not to mention that my sunflower bouquet turned out amazing. Lovely and highly original displays. My friend was looking for plants with a specific criteria and the woman running the store was very honest and helpful. She was also very funny and kind. We laughed about the signs she had to put up around the store politely asking people not to touch various flowers, and said she got bad reviews for having them. These are live flowers, people. They are fragile and can die...it's not asking much. If you are respectful of the space you will receive equal respect and excellent service right back. 10/10. Will go back to buy moss.

No phone call telling me different, no warning. I am very upset! It was a specific order they said they would do. This is a very distinctive flower shop. There are not only fresh flowers, but also unique dried flowers. Many of the dried flowers are handmade and creative by the owner. I ordered a flower arrangement in appreciation of assistance given to me and my family. Bel Fiore is a one woman business specializing in unusual sculptural bouquets and plants for happy repeat customers. We found out why today when we visited, looking for unusual house plants. A flawlessly kept Oxalis triangularis grabbed my wife's eye instantly, while an equally flawless large blooming Parodia cactus caught mine. Beautiful work!
