To whom it may concern Last year a purchased a Moran Lounge Suite through Berkowitz Furniture at Mile End. Whilst we did have to wait a lengthy period to get our new Suite, we were kept updated throughout the wait and given that we believed that we we’re getting a top quality product … The Moran Brand being synonymous with the Best Quality Chesterfield Manufacture on the market. When we received our new suite we we’re certainly very happy with our purchase and the service provided by Berkowitz. However, after only three weeks one of the buttons on the sofa arm popped off. Trevor from Berkowitz contacted Moran right away to arrange for a repair. Whilst it was no fault on the part of Berkowitz, we had to wait 3 months for an upholsterer to come and tell us that a new button would need to be ordered from Moran. Many months later, the upholsterer returned to us to attach the new button. We were more than a little disappointed. Disgusted, would be a better term: - the button was a dark shade of pink and not the antique brown burgundy shade of the rest of the suite. Furthermore, it was not pulled in tightly enough to match the suite. After contacting Trevor at Berkowitz, yet again, we had to wait another lengthy period to find out what Moran were going to do about this. Eventually, Moran sent the upholsterer back to us, only to tell us that they would have to get another button from Moran, take the sofa away, pull it apart in the workshop and hopefully, put it all back together to look like new. So back we went to Trevor at Berkowitz and requested a full refund for the suite which we had now had for over 13 months, during which time it had only been 3 weeks that we’d been able to enjoy it in a state that we’d expected it to be in for many years. Thankfully, through Trevor’s tenacity in ensuring that Moran do the right thing by us, we were given a full refund and the suite was finally taken back by Moran. I feel if it hadn’t been for the true after sales service given by Trevor and the staff at Berkowitz, we would have been left with an inferior product for which we had paid top dollar. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Berkowitz Furniture as a company who offer not only great service but great after sales service. Furthermore, whilst I would not buy a Moran product again, I would have no hesitation in shopping at Berkowitz in the future. Sincerely Annette Tyrcha

I had been a Sofa shop customer for many years ;bought lots of furniture and was always happy until I bought 6 dining chairs in 2016 for our private houseboat that we don’t hire out. We are in our 70s and spend 6-8 months of every year travelling in our motorhome and our houseboat is locked up.Just after the 12 months warranty I contacted Sofa Shop at Mile End to say that the $165 each chairs were deteriorating very quickly.The so called leather covers of the chairs turned out to be paper thin vinyl on some sort of fabric. The negative response for assistance for some compensation to have the chairs recovered astounded me. As the chairs weren’t cheap and the style which we really like isn’t available ,we are now left either having to buy 6 new chairs or paying $100 per chair to have them recovered. Needless to say we will NEVER buy anything from Sofa shop again and have warned others about their inferior quality products.

Dropped $300 deposit for a floor stock dining table priced of $800. Few weeks later had to leave Adelaide so we requested refund due to our circumstances, we had paid deposit to other different stores around Adelaide like Harvey Norman, fantastic furniture and JB Hifi. They all returned our 100% deposit money and this is the only store in Adelaide charged us cancellation fee $60 out of $300 deposit just for a little dining table. If we had paid them in full $800 as deposit we would have only received $640 returned as their 20% administration policies they would take $160. So be careful when you make a deposit to this store, less deposit more you save who knows what your circumstances going to be tomorrow. Very disappointing.

Would give zero stars if possible. Walked around the show room for 10 minutes or so and I was the only customer in the store at 9.30am. At least 5 staff members up at the counter chatting away together. I sat in heaps of lounges waiting to be served, and was looking to buy leather suite (big pirchase) but they didn't so much as say hello. Not one single person came over to me! I walked out and still not even a late acknowledgement that I had been there. Out of principle I will not support this business as the service was just so poor and downright rude. If you expect customer service, you may need to go elsewhere.

So pleased with our new modular lounge suite! From initial visit to their mile end showroom to receipt of product we have been delighted with all aspects of Berkowitz. Especially considering the issues faced by this covid 19 crisis, we’ve been kept up to date regarding our order over the past couple of months. Friendly, professional staff and a great range of furniture. Even the delivery guys were so helpful, kept us informed of delivery schedule and were on time!

Firstly I love supporting a local family business. Bought our gorgeous dining chairs here.... I was so indecisive ... they were more than happy for us to take our 4 choices home so we could see them at the table, in the room etc. That made it so easy to make the right decision. The service was great. The furniture fabulous. Would highly recommend.

We ordered a lounge suite that was made in SA. 3 months later it arrived. Right colour, comfortable and well made. Only the manufacturer stuffed up the design. Berkowitz were fantastic. They collected the couch, took it to the manufacturer and then returned it again. All with in 2 weeks. Great service from Berkowitz and the manufacturer.

Great service, staff very friendly and helpful, had full knowledge of furniture and helpful with colour choices for dining chairs and gave accurate time for delivery. Also impressed that furniture selected was all Australian Made. I have recommended them to family and friends as their prices are reasonable and value for money.

Mile End is the place to visit if you’re are looking for furniture. The Sofa Shop is another huge furniture retailer. There is a a very large range of dining room furniture, through to bedding divans. We spent a lot of time just looking around there showroom. We found the staff were pleasant and helpful. Good place to shop.

Ordered new dining & lounge furniture - helpful, non-pressure sales staff who assisted us over several visits to store. We were advised at the outset of delivery delays (was in the early days of the pandemic) & delivery was in line with there estimate. We were impressed with the range & styles available

Amazing sales service from Trevor Casey who provided great advice and guidance when we purchased our dining suite and lounge chairs at Berkowitz. The after sales follow up from Trevor and the rest of the team was greatly appreciated. We will continue to shop at Berkowitz for quality furniture!

Finally, being able to find the lounge of my dreams, coupled with the amazing service from the staff at Berkowitz. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The showroom was bright and uncluttered allowing you to easily wander through and experience the furniture on display. Wow, what a find.

Awful customer service! Went in there walked around had a serious look at some furniture and not one team member come up to us to ask if we needed assistance. Useless. Just wanted to have a staff gossip at the registers. No wonder there wasn't any customers in the store. Do not recommend!!

Great service and easy to deal with! Couch arrived and very unhappy with the cushions. Sent someone out to check quickly. Gave us 6 months to decide whether to keep or return. Couch is being returned and we have re-selected. Absolutely no issue to return and re-order. Excellent service.

Great customer service from selecting the lounges to having them delivered. We had a delay in our build and Berkowitz Furniture were more than happy to store the new lounge suites until we were ready. Highly recommended and Australian made.

Staff are far more interested in what’s on the TV, than providing any form of customer service. The three staff did not leave the front counter to provide customer service, for the entire 15 minutes we were in the store.

Helpful and friendly staff. Happy to help. Was real easy to decide on which sofa I wanted. Will not be getting sofa for another 20 odd weeks. So no photos to post but check in again later for photos and updates.

I am ready to buy an Australian made sofa + chairs - I walked around, found one I liked, sat in it for awhile, looked for staff....at least 3 men knew I was there but totally ignored me. Very poor service.

Great service on our last visit, and the attendant (didn't catch his name) was extremely helpful and attentive to our list of needs and wants for a new lounge / sofa bed. We will definitely be returning!

We have used Sofa Shop couches over the past 9 years and we have never experienced any problems with them. Also we have found the people at the Sofa Shop, helpful, professional and friendly.

Berkowitz Furniture have a wonderful range of quality products and this is coupled with wonderful people who helped my mum with her purchase! I will be shopping here into the future.

I purchased new lounge sofa's including a chase. Beautiful fabric choices and excellent design - I have had mine now for about 15 months and am still very, very happy with it.
