I went to this terrible school from 4th - 6th grade, and it was without a doubt the worst school I have ever attended. Most of the teachers are great, and the curriculum is advanced and informative. I do not know if Mr. Campbell still teaches there, but he is truly amazing. However, the reason it is the worst place I have ever gone is there was an incredibly terrible bullying problem. Anyone that wasn't good friends with people at the top of the social hierarchy was constantly and relentlessly bullied, physically and mentality. It was the entire culture of the school. This issue was especially bad considering that there were multiple mentaly and/or physically disabled people in my grade, who were popular targets of heavy abuse. Furthermore, the problem was made worse by most of the teachers turning a blind eye to the blatant bullying. For example, often people would refer to their favorite targets during class with rude and insulting names. For example "(Insert rude name), pass me that pencil". The teachers pretended not to hear anything, and just ignored the blatant mental abuse of less popular students. The most extreme case of this that I saw happened with me being tripped and pushed over and then kicked in the back and the head multiple times. All this was literally right in front of the pe teacher. He did not acknowledge the attack, and when I confronted him, he said that surely there were two sides to the story, and that he had not even seen anything (which is a blatant lie). Even some of the other kids, including a few of the bullies spoke out in my favor, and told the attacker that he should not have done that. I fortunately managed to leave BIS in 7th grade, and switch to JFKS, where I had an amazing experience. At JFK, people were actually kind, friendly, and supportive. Only after I got out of BIS did I realize exactly how bad it had been. It has been 5 years since I left BIS, and I do not know if the situation is still as bad, but my experience there left me mentaly traumatized for years. I suspect that It had not changed. Again, other than the terrible bullying that ruined 3 years of my life, the school is decent. The teachers are helpful and informative (except for ignoring blatant bullying), and the curriculum is advanced. Again, I do not know if Mr. Campbell still teaches there, but he is truly amazing. 1/10 would not recommend. Edit: Totally forgot to mention that the provided lunches and food are absolutely terrible, and even the school and teachers agree. Unfortunately, the food catering service is owned by some of the management, and is permanent. Worth going to another school just because of the food.

Questionable competence concerning TOK, economics and math teachers. Questionable care about students, given the fact the german class teacher was absent half the time and the principal and director were resisting in catching up those missed classes next term. Questionable honesty from the principal that promised compensating these after they were not (and claims you're calling him a liar when you said he promised). Qustionable respect towards students, seen in how you get forced to pull trash from a dirty trash can just because you got confused between the cans. And get threatened with a "talk with parents" and a detention when you "dare" say no. Questionable attitude to students when you dare laugh in the liabrary, once. Same when you do a physics simulation online and it's being branded gaming. Questionable fund raising events, given the school fee is well over € 10000 a year. Subpar teaching quality, when compared to other European or US high schools. Extremely poor quality/price ratio Drug users among students. Hence the rating, of course.

Wahnsinn! Alle Anfahrtsstraßen sind verstopft. Schule sensibilisiert Eltern/Diplomaten nicht, da seit Jahren keine Besserung in Sicht.

This school is the best and it's great cause I went there and some of the kids were nice but some of them were "NOT" but I am ok with it. + the Teachers when a student needs help at the (playground) they wouldn't answer and keep talking to another teacher which is really annoying for me (and The school is great I miss this school but I am moving to texas very soon ;(

The teachers don‘t really know what they are teaching, the food is poor, the break area(playground) is extremely small. The school wastes money on a new juice machine that really wasn’t needed. If you really want to enjoy going to school and have a good work environment look elsewhere.

Great facilities and teachers. But there is some bullying that goes on in this school that’s isn’t very nice. Food is not the best but not the worst for school food. Technology and Wi-Fi is very good at this school and all in all it’s a great school.

My children studying here, one of them achieved an IB degree and another in secondary. The study environment is great, teachers always willing to help.
