So I've read the reviews online about this one particular Best Buy and the reviews about the telephone issues, customer service and the rude employees... At first I didn't want to believe these reviews but let me tell you from personal experience that their customer service is worst than a pile of trash... I may sound like I'm mad and maybe I am but I had to wait for more than 30-40 minutes just so I can speak with someone over the phone. 30-40 minutes of calling again and again and again with no response... By the way, this didn't happen only once, it happened more than once in different days. And guess what, after I was finally able to talk with an employee, I was greeted with the most bored sounding employee as if they don't want to be there and they don't want to talk to you.... "Hey... this is (employee's name) speaking... how can I help you...?" I try to understand these employee's situation and maybe they had a busy day. I can relate since I've worked in retail before. But nope, its a constant bad experience... I hate to rant over this but they were also no help at all, and essentially just want to hung up as soon as possible or get away from you as quickly as possible. I even tried to go in the store and some employees seem to want to help, others are LITERALLY just standing and leaning in the cash register looking all pretty and bored doing absolutely nothing but stare off in space and while others are in the Geek Squad area just chit-chatting with each other in a pretty loud manner... Geez, if there was a Negative star, I would have chosen that. --4/5 star for me, I'm sorry but this location needs to improve drastically... Find another location to shop and avoid this location. I suggest going the extra mile and shopping at the St. James location instead. At least most of their staffs are not as rude as this location... >_> The only real positive thing that I can say about this store is that the store itself is pretty clean and organize. But that's really it... *sigh* ps: Some of the 5 stars you see in here are actually from some (if not all) of the employees who works in that location because they are trying to help "boost" their store's review ratings. But the truth will prevail! If your wondering how I know this, one of my good friend used to work at this Best Buy and he gave it 5 stars when he was still working and then took down his review after he quit. Good Luck and Have a Great Day!

We placed an online order (over 400 dollars of products) on Sunday at 4:30pm for curbside pickup at the Pembina location. The website states that they are open until 7:00pm for curbside and advertises "open longer for curbside pickup during the holidays". Despite Google maps saying they close at 6:00pm. After placing our order, we received an email at 5:15pm saying your order is ready for pickup! No mention of the store hours anywhere in the email and no phone call or text from the store to confirm our arrival. We drove in from an hour out of Winnipeg to pick it up and arrived at 6:30. We checked in online and received a text message saying "Thanks for checking in! Please stay in your car. We'll be out shortly." but no one came out. We waited outside for 30 minutes, and at 7:00pm, 2 employees walked right past us leaving the store to go home after locking the doors. While we sat in the curbside lane waiting. We finally realized that you closed and we were left to sit there. So we turned around and drove an hour all the way back home disappointed we wasted our trip out. At 9:00am this Monday morning I received a text from the store number again, saying "If you can, pop your trunk so we can place the item in the back of your car." I informed the same number that I was not at the store, and no response. I called the store number and no one answered. I called last night as well while the employees were in the store, no answer. This is the worst curbside experience I think I've ever had.

Customer Service? Having worked before in an electronic sales environment, I have come to the conclusion that these people have simply no idea of that particular concept. Went in to buy a bookshelf system on sale. Tried to phone it in - but nobody answering the phones, period. So have to go in to order it........ "Salesperson #1" had me look up the product on my own phone, so he could take a picture of it, to then look it up on their own computer. This person still could not find the item. #1 then handed me off to a second "Salesperson", who couldn't figure out if the item was in stock, but promised to "check the back". Half an hour later, I am still standing there, with no one in sight. Tracked down the Floor Manager, who took a look in the back - no stock, even though their web page showed item in stock - was informed that they were having "glitches" with that. ONE HOUR LATER, I have finally ordered in a unit, and told I would be contacted by phone or email, in 4-5 working days. 10 go by....hear nothing. Spent 35 min getting through on the phone (the best result in multiple attempts) and informed that they do have this unit, for pickup - never got a call or mail on it. Give it one star - in order to post review. Actual rating -4 stars PS....any of these 5 star reviews, must be the result of either heavy drugs or an agenda.....

Please please do not allow yourself to go through what I went through with this company. I purchased an item from them around December on a financing card for 12 months. I never received any statements and then searched online to find others complaining about not receiving statements as well. I shrugged it off and decided to just start making my payments after reading the reviews. Between December and now I only have 100 dollars left on my card because I have been religiously paying it off. Well, today I log into my credit report to find that the company has been reporting my payments as deferred. That’s right. They have been collecting my payments (as it reflects on my account with them) but at the same time they were reporting to my account as deferred to the credit bureau. I had stellar credit near the 800s and now between them and now this card has caused me to drop 30 points. No accountability when I called them over the phone. They confirm that they have received my payments and that I have to call Equifax and dispute it. Save yourself the trouble, learn from my mistake. I am now trying to reach consumer affairs to try to resolve the issue.

Go to Memory Express instead. Went to buy an SSD to repair a machine that needed to be back up and running the same day. They had the card for the SSD I wanted on the shelf, and the website said it was available in store, as did their phone system when I called to verify stock levels. Upon bringing the card to the counter and waiting, they determined they did not actually have the product in stock, and said I could order it online. Out of stock products happen, but what doesn't sit right with me is the staff not following this interaction up by removing the many remaining purchase cards from the store floor. I don't go to a retail brick and mortar to buy something online; had I wanted to do that, I'd have done it from home. I take issue with the practice of using retail floor space to advertise online only inventory. I came to Best Buy despite my dislike of their brand because I needed a product with short notice the same day - instead, I got a reminder why I shouldn't bother with them in the first place. Most frustratingly, I called again after leaving, and their phone system still says it's in stock.

I was so excited to be buying my first desktop gaming computer and a nice new monitor. I went to the aisle where the computer I wanted was and hoped someone might help me. I stood there 5 minutes and multiple employees walked by me with no one offering to help. More time passed and an employee walked up beside me but totally ignored what I was doing. I finally flagged down an employee, one who had walked by me several times, and asked for help getting the computer. They got it for me from the back and grabbed the monitor I requested. I specifically asked if the computer came with a keyboard and mouse, which the employee said it did. What they failed to mention was the monitor did not come with any sort of speaker system. I learned this when I got home and had no audio. The employees were all 0 help but were quick to try upselling insurance for $300. I would not recommend people go to this particular Best Buy as I have had much better experiences at the Polo Park location where employees are very helpful and informative.

They only treat you very nicely when they convince you to buy their appliance in the store. After that, they disappeared. You need to call them, again and again, to ask them to deliver and install your appliance. We bought a dishwasher, refrigerator, and Oven from Bestbuy. They told us the contractor will contact us for installing the dishwasher within 24 hours after we received all three appliances. But we waited for 3 days and we called Bustbuy every day to follow up. Still, nobody contacted us. Finally, we went to the store and asked their manager for the phone number of the contractor who was responsible for installing the dishwasher, and I called the contractor to install my dishwasher. That is not the worst thing. My new refrigerator was scratched and my property was damaged during the delivery. Look at the pictures. Neither Bustbuy nor the contractor gave us compensation. We are going to go to the small claim court!

Great experience and would highly recommend this over the Apple Store easily! I came in to buy the MacBook Pro from here after mine broke, Maisha was the person who helped me with the purchase process as it was easy and fast. She was super helpful. I ended up getting the membership here as everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Because I got the membership I was able to do a Data Transfer, since It's a Mac there is an option to transfer via Thunderbolt. I went to other locations and they told me they "cannot do it". I explained this to Austin, he was super helpful and he was able to do it for me. Instead of 48 Hours, he was able to help me transfer my files in under 20 Minutes. Again will be coming here and recommending this place. Loved it. And I highly suggest and recommend getting the membership, the support here is so much ahead of any Manufacturer, especially Apple.

Punjan in the geek squad was SO helpful and kind. So was kristen who called to update me on my warranty status. She was so kind and pleasant to deal with. I was frustrated that i couldn’t call the store directly though, i had to call a 1800 number and ask the store to call me back which was kind of weird (but no fault of the workers at this store!) They didn’t have the watch I wanted in store so they offered to order it for me and send it to my house for free. They were super knowledgeable and kind and I felt they really went above and beyond. The experience was quick and easy and the front door girl was also very kind and helpful. Unfortunately there was a guy checking out that had his mask pulled all the way down and the security guard was just standing there. Not sure why he’s there if it’s not to enforce the policies.

Ordered a PS5 game for in-store pickup. Got home and case was broken inside like they played frisbee in the warehouse. Booked an exchange also online and was told it would be ready to pickup. Headed there and manager lovedeep advised me I had to wait behind 15 shoppers in my car and the online pickup booking didn’t matter. So chat agent wrong and love deep was un-willing to make up for their misinfo. He also said “they do not have quality control for their products” This seems odd to me. Pandemic or not this is just annoying and I have to waste gas and now a ton time waiting at the store on a second visit in a row for their error. Plenty of electronic places in the city that I’m sure would appreciate my future biz. Try to hear someone out and solve the issue with a 10 second walk into your store when the issue is on you.

I normally don't review big box stores but felt compelled to on this one. Of all the best buy locations in winnipeg, this one's hands down the best. I am always greeted when I walk in (Walmart doesn't even do that no more!) and I feel safe becasue they have hired security team members there. Also the staff are great and do the right thing using common sense. For example I bought a Nintendo Switch game before Christmas online from bestbuy.ca. It then went on sale elsewhere so I bought it again. When I returned my unopened game to this location there was no hassle. The manager (Annelies I think?) was even there to help which I appreciated. It was nice not to be hassled on the return. Last I bought a tv over boxing day and they helped me load it into my car. Keep up the good work big box store best buy Pembina

I went in today to buy a google pixel phone and was pretty sure of what I was going to buy, I needed to see the colors available and wanted to hold the phone in person just to be sure. But the employees were too busy talking to each other. When I asked for help, they asked me what for I needed help with, then they were really inattentive of me. They just don't want to work at this location and offer help or make suggestions. I had to come home unfortunately and place the order online myself. I still didn't got to see any phone's color since they wanted me to show the picture on their phones. Just too busy talking to each other instead of helping me out. Go to another location. Polo park one is better than these bunch of busy people. Customer service like this just makes ur experience miserable.

  • ILYAD

Horrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes to find someone in appliance section. Finally, just left. Next day, I tried to call in, no answer! I called at least 10 times over an hour. Nobody bothers to help. I think this location is either extremely under staffed or has a severe management issue. ----------------------------------- UPDATE: I called the head office to complain about the service and a product. They put me on hold to talk to the store first. Guess what, they didn't even answer their call !! Funniest moment ever. Anyhow, they took my info and the next day the store manager called me. Very polite and apologetic. They not only replaced the product (dishwasher) with free pick-up and delivery, but also gave me another $50 off. Very satisfied. This is how you do it. 1 STAR UPDATED TO 4

Please save yourself some time and find another store to buy you products instead. Customer service in there is horrifying. I was standing around to 20min looking for some help, nobody came. All the store employee, especially the manager, ignore you completely. I was only looking for a laptop, It is not a big deal, All I ask for is some decent customer service,. But No, the store employee treat you like trash, one even walk away in the middle of the conversation. I hope I am not the only person experience this. As far as I know, the employee receive a royalty when selling you a product, so why it is so hard to provide a decent customer service. The service here wants to make you to leave this places. Please don't bother to come here un less you want to experience the worst customer service

This is a great Best Buy location. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always choose to go here when I need to buy new tech or even when I have time to kill. There are great displays and demos throughout the store (TV's, Videogames, headphones, cellphones, laptops) that allow you to see and feel what it is you'll be buying. They have always honoured their warranty regulations and provide great customer service. They will be able to answer any questions you might have, as well. This store is always very clean and kept in pristine condition. I truly recommend this store for anybody looking for new electronics. They also have a lowest price match guarantee, where if you show a sale price of something at a different store, they will match it and charge you that amount

Not worth it, I went in one day asking about op/Adobe RGB, they told me they didn't even know what that is, I came in today asking for a job, I would love to challenge their knowledge, but I see why all the electronic stores here in Winnipeg are bad, it is a shame, even talking about audio, I would be lead straight to beats headphones, this is a waste of customers money, I would rather help a customer find something they never knew they wanted, instead of giving them the average joe of electronics. Anyway, check out the photos I left underneath. All of these companies hire staff who are very unfit for these jobs, mainly lacking in knowledge of what they are selling. (DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE) Research before buying Or talk to a real professional. . .

Never buy Apple Products from Bestbuy Stores. Instead try buy directly from Apple if you want the products to for sure be covered by the one year warranty Apple has on their products. This store refused to print a receipt with a serial number even though the $300 product I bought could’ve been covered under a warranty with the manufacturer. The workers claimed to never have heard of such a thing. However, other store locations verified that it is a Best Buy store policy to print out the serial number on the receipt for any item that has one. Now I have to pay an additional $100 to have the product fixed. Very poor customer service as well, they kept cutting us off when we tried to explain the situation. Never been more disappointed.

Best Buy is usually my go to for most of my tech needs. Staff have always been very helpful with my questions, or trying to find what I need. I would rate 5 stars, but the reason for 4, is they never answer the phone. This is same with all Best Buys in the city. Everytime I have called, I have never been able to speak with a human. Phone keeps ringing and going back to the main menu. I am convinced that Best Buy trains their staff to never answer the phone, which in most cases, forces people to go to the store. Everytime I have gone to the store in person, there is definitely enough staff on the floor that can pick up the phone. That aside, prices are always decent, but price matching can be tricky with the staff sometimes.

Like: The store was very organized and easy to find the items I needed. Like: A friendly staff member who had little to no knowledge of cameras was quick to find the person working the camera section. Dislike: The assistant who was called to help me in the camera section was almost unexcited to help, giving me a sentence long answer then walking away. Prior to getting help, there was another customer who almost pushed to get in front of me to get assistance, and that staff member seemed very happy to help them. It took a a minute or so to receive what little answer I got. He immediately returned to help the customer that he started with. That was not very satisfying.

I purchased an item online on Nov 30, 2019. Eleven days later, I still have not received it. And it was a local delivery (within Winnipeg). I phoned both 800-number and the domestic ones. they could not identify what was wrong with the delivery. I also phoned Puralator, the shipping company, who had no answer either. Eventually I went to best Buy at Pembina to inquire further. AGAIN no one was responsible for the delay, blaming December and Black Friday high amount of shopping. Seems like Best Buy staff do not have a clear idea about how to deal with frustrated costumers and delayed deliveries; as if it is the costumer's problem. All in all, not a good experience.

  • Demi Holztrager

Pretty disappointed. Went to buy a JBL extreme charge 4 speaker ... sales guy says “you’re in luck we have one left on sale $279.00.” Passes me the box, i go to the front cashier for it to ring up at for almost $500.00. They didn’t have any and I ended up buying a Sony instead for $279.00. If an employee is passing me an item showing and telling me the price i feel I should have been taken more seriously and got a deal to say the least for the disappointment and mistake on their part. They didn’t even acknowledge the mistake, when I kept saying “but you told me that was the price.” Which i really wanted the JBL..I won’t be shopping there anymore.

  • Robert Urquhart

Went in there yesterday for a PS4 for my son. Was on sale for a great price. Went to the section to find that there were no empty display boxes left, but unsure if this was because they were all grabbed by customers in the store or they were sold out. I approached a sales guy and asked him. He said he was with another customer and would meet me at the PS4 section when he was done. I waited, and waited, and waited....didn't turn up. Went up to the front of the store to find him and about 5 other reps standing around talking. Left the store and went next door to Toys R Us where they not only helped me immediately but had it for the same price.

  • Sandra Yu

Poor service. I would rather give it a 0 star if I could. Went to the phone department today. The lady working took over 1 hour to help ONE SINGLE customer. Me and this other customer had to wait in line FOR OVER ONE HOUR to ask a damn quick two minute question. When it was my turn, I got no apologies (even just out of manners), no smiles and the employee was even mad at me and sighed at me multiple times. She did not seem like she cared about my existence. I came in today wishing to get a new phone but because of this poor service, I ended up walking away unhappily after waiting for over an hour. Never coming back here ever again

  • Oluwafisayo Folarin

So I'm rating Bestbuy as a whole and not just this store. My last experience was pretty hellish as delivery took about 2 weeks instead of 3 days as advertised when I was making the purchase. All attempts to get information about the cause of the delay didn't yield anything useful because Bestbuy has NO CONTROL over how delivery is made. An item I ordered from China came 6 days before the order within Canada I think more consideration should be given to delivery methods/providers used especially for high value items. Delivery is a major part of the user experience that often gets deprioritized and I think that's unfortunate.

  • Jason Skinner

Supervisor at the front was greeting but did not acknowledge me when I said hello to him as I walked in. I grabbed some gaming headphones but couldn't find the ones I wanted, so I wanted to know the return policy. I was told by the ckerk that they cannot be returned. I asked if the clerk could double check because she seemed unsure and I felt Best Buy had a better return policy then that. She asked the same supervisor that was greeting and his response was "you buy it, it's yours". It was really rude and a terrible way to answer a question from a customer. He seemed miserable, maybe he was having a bad day.

  • Miss Gayle

Went there on a Thursday evening with flyer to price match. The manager said I couldn't get the discount because the prices in flyer from the other stores came into effect on the following day. When I showed him the same item online, the product was sold out so he said he couldn't match the price . The manager told me to purchase the item and return it for the difference the following day. I told him I would purchase the item for the lower price from the other store and save myself a trip and the headache and forget about loyalty since I purchase most of my electronics from Best Buy.

  • plastic world

Worst bestbuy in the city. Smells like human feces inside. And the customer service is the worst. Employees stand there and do nothing and are the rudest that I've encountered. Polo park location has top notch service and their employees are very knowledgeable of the products + the friendliest too!!! FYI *I got cursed out by an employee at the front door after I bought 2 nintendo switch games for just under $180. I will be personally returning the games tomorrow because I dont stand for any of that. Only reason why I didn't bring it back that very instant was because I didnt want my son to cry.

  • John Styles

Basically have no one to help you with anything...then when I actually found help they had no stock for the items...that's right...not just one item, I was looking for. Went down the street to visions and got immediate assistant and they had stock. Then the security guard was following this one woman and basically ran over my 4 year old cause he didn't care we were there. Absolutely unacceptable. Shame on this store for the experience and shame on the security guard. I would absolutely take legal action against this location if my son was hurt. Don't even shop here. Go down the street

I have bought a lot of electronics from BestBuy over the years. In fact I bought two large screen televisions just in the last month from them. They are not the store they used to be. IMO they are now kind of a sleazy outfit and I will not buy from them anymore. Their price match policy is a flat out lie. They do not price match if the price elsewhere is a good one. They count on overcharging customers who do not take the time to shop around. It seems the only upstanding store left is Costco. It certainly is not "BestBuy" which ironically is quite a misnomer as it certainly isn't!

  • Devon

Kind of disappointed in this best buy. Noticed online they were advertising an ssd hardrive for boxing day. When I went to the store they said the sale was over. I mentioned it being advertised on their website but was quickly dismissed. It was nearly double the price so I left empty handed. Time before that I was looking for an adapter, again advertised online showing in stock, showed up and nada. Of course I was again dismissed when I asked about it. Staff seems too busy to care. Now I just go to memory express. Little longer drive but better than being a complete waste of time

  • Kenton Bryer

Went in there to buy a few products a few times. Everytime you walk in there the staff are talking to each other. Stood in line for over 5 minutes. One of the worst ones to go to. One of the worst ones to shop at. After waiting the 5 minutes a staff came from another department once he started helping me another staff who was supposed to be there came in and started yelling at him saying he doesn't belong here and he needs to go to his post... all the staff are rude and this best buy lacks customer service by far.. really hoping to speak to someone about this.

  • David Leslie

I don't shop in electronics stores very often anymore. My latest trip was during their boxing week event. The store was quite busy, but not overly. Staff were hard to find, but their product was stocked out on the floor and i was able to grab what I came for, load it up and pay. Once upon a time I would have said I wished I could have found someone to give me advice on the sound bar I was purchasing, but these days all my research was done online, and I knew what I wanted. I guess I was grateful that nobody talked to me? Good job Best Buy.

  • Oleg Y.

Jaitun at Mobile booth did a great job helping me to select and sign up for the mobile plan on Black Friday night. He was knowledgeble, friendy and professional. I also saw him helping another client with a challenging situation and he did his best! The Store Manager should know that Jaitun, a lady that was next to Jaitun helping other clients, and the team lead person were really great on BF night and were truly good for the customers and Best Buy store! Next time, when I need a new plan I will go to this Best Buy store for sure.

  • Cole Taylor

Great deals, but mediocre to not good customer service. I had to ask three Best Buy Employees where to find the item, and no one wanted to show me where exactly. Each employee just told me it was down a certain aisle. I was not greeted with kindness, and it really did not feel like anyone wanted to help me. I am also disappointed with the hours. 11 am is just not a feasible opening time for most people. The only helpful people on my visit was the security guard and cashier. Buy your stuff on Amazon and save some time!!

  • Holly Hildebrandt

One of the better Best Buys in the city!! Last year, when looking for a TV, one of the great guys that works in that department, talked to me and my boyfriend for about an hour. Explaining all their deals, how to get the best deal and showing us how each one compared to others. More recently I had to return a mac past its return date. I talked to the manager and explained my situation. Within 30 minutes and a couple calls, he gave me the full refund. It was a HUGE relief and I'm incredibly thankful.

  • Nilee Nicole

I was in getting my phone screen replaced at geek squad for free with my warranty. I couldn't find my receipt but they searched her my card and found it ! So I was happy waiting around I started looking at lego and Moe helped me out with pricing and answered all my questions! I just had the best experience in there so I went to do the survey and it says my numbers dont work and expired. The worst part was the survey I gave up . Just wanted to leave a little something positive !

  • Chelsey Neufeld

I was looking for a specific product, the website said there was only 1 left in store. After trying to find it on my own, a kind associate asked if he could help me and brought me right to it! Amin, thank you. He explained the easy return policy and offered to complete the transaction himself when I was ready to buy (after assuring me he wasn’t on commission - just wants his customers to feel welcome!). Have a great day Amin! Best Buy is lucky to have you as an employee!

  • Nicholas Marion

I have never had a good experience with Best Buy, certainly their marketplace since they don't share the same "policies", which is their excuse for any problems that arise. Just recently I saw a computer on sale so I decided to buy it, I put in my info, everything went well, then 2 days later I check on the computer and they CANCELED MY ORDER. The worst part I'd that I wasn't even informed, I had to find out myself... Don't waste your time with them. That's my rant

  • Yea Right

Non commissioned sales people that have no reason to lie were very helpful in finding me the best deal for my needs. We found it was not in stock and they had it shipped to my door at no cost to me. I knocked off one star because I felt that at least one store in the city should have had stock. While reading these reviews remember an angry off person will tell anyone they meet their perception of what occurred while a Satisfied person may only tell a friend or two.

  • Chen Mark

Because the covid-19 queued at the door to pick up the goods, I was told that my order was different from the actual activity, but their manager's attitude was very bad, he didn't have the patience to explain to the customer, and directly asked me to refund and repurchase online, which was a complete waste of my time. It was very cold outside. I waited outside for more than 20 minutes before I went in for a refund. The service attitude is very poor.

  • Barak Al Dabous

Had to pry the workers to help us, not a single soul asked if we needed assistance (store was dead). Awkward encounter with associate, I asked if I could play around with the TV's operating system, his answer: no. Associate left us and was too busy talking to his buddies, had to "interrupt" their joking conversation for him to get us the TV. Not too keen on his snarkiness. Associates name started with the letter D and rhymes with Cocker Spaniel.

  • scsparcrow

Much better experience at this location than Polo Park a few days apart. Although an older layout and not as visually pleasing - had some clutter on floor amongst staff having a discussion but - they actually had staff in the computer department and someone asked to assist after only minutes - product I wanted was not listed on shelves - they checked computer for stock then went and found the last one in back. That is what service should be.

  • Cheryl Rose

A pretty solid store. Has a satisfactory selection of a variation of electronics. Headphones, computers, speakers, even fridges. While they have several options to choose from for whatever you're buying, it is limited. If you're looking for a particularly lavish or specific item, you can ask they order if in for you. However service is good, employees are friendly and the products are good. Would recommend for general electronic needs

Just went in for a walk around with my little girl. Staff were friendly and after asking if we needed help and i said no they left us alone but were nearby if required. My daughter was having fun playing with the appliances and Wade came around and helped her out and also answered many questions i had about fridges and washers. A very professional employee. I will be sure to come see him again when im ready to buy. Thank you

Less than a STAR! Here is the worst best buy I had ever seen. The staff do not have any info about the goods and stock. I have gone to this place for some different things. One day the salesman didn't understand my question about coffee maker until I show him the Best Buy web site. The other a saleswoman told me that the hair dryer is available and I spent around 15 min in shop, finally I understood that it is out of stock!

I never look forward to my futureshop experience. They never answer when I call, and I can never find help when I show up in person (I've concluded that they're understaffed). For a computer store they never seem to have what I need, and when they do I get gouged on the price. Admittedly, when I DO get service, they are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help me out. Probably the only reason I keep going back.

Don’t buy online. I bought a chest freezer 2 weeks ago online and it said I will receive it within 5-7 business days. So far it has been past 2 weeks and the tracking number said the label has been printed only. I decided to call them and ask for a cancellation. Right now they are looking for the freezer and have no clue where it is. In order for me to cancel they have to find the freezer. Wish me luck

Awesome place for general electronics and computer needs. I'd say they have a vast selection but if you need anything Apple specific just go to the Apple store at polo park. I wouldn't take my PC here either for a repair. Maybe check out Memory express. But otherwise, come in doing some research on the product you're going to buy. But 4 stars for the fact that they do have a lot of selection.

Absolutely incredible service! The Geek Squad was great assistance and the Google Representative was an incredible help. The store was busy and they didnt make me feel that my question was not important. They made sure that other customers were cared for as well. As a side note, I was very well educated with Chromecast to the point that I felt comfortable purchasing the item from Best Buy.

Poor management, have people to say good morning and good bye on the boxing day ,but not proper attention is given to all customers and their needs. Need to improve and implement. For eg - People waiting in long queues to buy phones and they already knew it's boxing day. The worst part is that there is only 4 customer service representatives and for each customer they are taking 40minutes.

  • Ari Ali

Poor customer service specially by the the guys at floor. I asked some question about headphones and The staff was showing me headphones by indicating to the products on the shelf with his foot rather than hands. I complained at the front desk to the person claiming that he is manager. They didn’t said sorry or if I can indicate the staff member. He just said “ok we will discuss”.

  • Patrick T

Went in to buy a MacBook Pro, not one single employee took any interest in me at all. No offers of assistance, no one asked if I had any questions. The first time some one took notice of my presence was to tell me that the store was closing in 5 minutes. Seems obvious to me they’re not very good at any customer service at all, won’t be back, Apple Store here I come.

  • Sam Q

The staff seem nice and down to earth. The service seems OK. I was asked if I needed help find something. But someone dropped the ball with out of stock games. When a game is out of stock, please don't leave the empty box on the shelf. It wastes everyones time! After I bought something, the cashier crumpled my receipt before realizing it's not garbage.

  • cae pahpasay

Is the only store I go to for my electronics. I can count on them, for their knowledge of products, and the fact that they are always very helpful, friendly and very professional is a bonus and I always feel good leaving an outlet whether or not I purchased anything at all, at least I learned something. Great store, great service, great personnel.

  • Michael Veroukis

I love the new redesign. A great selection of home electronics and appliances but also computer systems, accessories and parts. They still to be pushing the smart home products lately. They also sell some musical instruments and supplies which is nice. They tend to have good prices but they also price match even against online retailers.

  • Colleen Renaud

My husband and I were looking for a new computer and had done some research online, but wanted to talk to someone in person about it. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to order the one we wanted and get us whatever else we needed. Our computer arrived sooner than expected. All in all, a good experience!

This particular location of Best Buy is plagued by sales staff with severe hygiene issues. As soon as you walk into the store your olfactory sense is overwhelmed by the body odor of these young men who don't seem to know how to shower or wash their uniforms. It's a tragedy that management isn't dealing with this issue.

  • Ken K (kenterprize)

Busy busy place during boxing week for no idea why because it's all there stuff they had on sale throughout the year and now it's either same price or $10 20 less then normal sales and everyone goes crazy. On another note there staff is friendly here and normally its calm and not many people shopping at this location.

  • Nathan Correa

Horrible experience with the people at customer service, essentially told to GTFO because of an exchange on a defective product. Brought in an item from regent, was told to go to this location for an exchange after a second issue with a product. Incredibly disappointed and left with an item that is practically useless

  • Mary Lambrecht

Went looking for television headphones for my elderly mother. Asked everyone we met and were told different things until Adam came to our rescue. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. I can't thank him enough for taking the time to really help us and find what we needed! Great experience and my mother is so happy.

  • farshad es

last week I went to this store. I wanted to return a computer accessory and I did not find my receipt. One of the cashiers helped me, Shadi! she knew the process and helped me to find the receipt and suggested me a new item to exchange. She was polite. All staff were nice and kind in this Best Buy store

  • Brittany K

Terrible hours. The longest they are open is 9 hours a day. I think they can expand their hours, I’ve witnessed many people trying to enter the store at 10 Am, to their surprise the store doesn’t open until 11 AM. I think 9 or 10 AM is a fairly reasonable time for a business to be open during the week.

  • Honest Truth

Ok ... but ask a lot of questions and ask for discount because if you dont they wouldn’t offer it. I bought an open box laptop from them full price when they should have offered me a discount. Don’t go for their warranty either expect they specifically tell you it’s for hardware and software.

  • Piyush Thapar

The place is always busy. So how the employee handles the whole situation is pretty impressive. But reducing 2 stars because I always have to wait like 5-7 minutes to get some support. I feel number of employees working at one time is low as per the place and number of products they offer.

  • amber behl

Experience was not as expected, staff wants to sell what they want to, they don't bother for your priorities. Ton of offers if you're aligned with them, but if you want to go with your choice, nothing for you except the selected product. Anyhow, I bought, what I need, happy enough!

  • Toxic RedNeck

Great place to shop at , I only wish you would carry more Video cameras , Seems like your always out of stock at this location for the equipment i need. so then i just order online from your website witch works great!! I bet i spent over 10,000 with you guys over the last 5 years!

  • Thomas Miller

Working with best buy is awful because there is no way to speak with a human about any question not related to an order on the phone. I tried to call a store location to see if they are in stock and there is no way to contact them apparently. not how a telephone should be used.

  • Arpan Singh

Helpful and friendly staff. They have price matching as well. Just show them the price on an online flyer and they will beat that price by $1. They will beat prices on Amazon too as long as the product is shipped and fulfilled by Amazon and not sold by a 3rd party seller.

  • Rafid Hasim

Best place to buy gadgets, awesome customer service very friendly. Need any help just ask. They are non commission based. They don't up sell. Awesome environment to shop. They don't always have everything in store but they can do free shipping to your house, awesome

  • Yris San Gabriel

The pick up kiosk went above and beyond to help me with my order. Turns out there was a glitch in the online reservations. I wish I remembered who helped me out but he was very knowledgeable in all the questions I had before I purchased my computer and accessories.

  • Colton De Vos

I've always had great service at the Pembina Best Buy. Good selection of electronics and knowledgeable staff. Don't get sold on the expensive protection plans if you don't need them. And hold out for big sales as there are often big price drops on certain items.

  • David Radabaugh

Had a great experience here! Leanne was very helpful and got us the just the camera bag we needed! I like to stop by and check out what is available from time to time and know that I will get great service with a kind smile. Thanks, Leanne and thanks, Best Buy!

  • Harnoor Singh

Just bought a TV and got a defective one in the first place and after when i went for a exchange they gave me a open box without even telling me it came without packing and remote . 3rd time i went to exchange they just didn’t responded well was really rude .

  • kam adel

The Apple rep there is extremely rude: it’s a female. She’s extremely disrespectful. She thinks she is better than the customers. Was going to buy 5 apple MacBooks for my business and decided to go to regent instead. Extremely rude. Will never go here again

  • YINING LIU

I drove two hours to get here, and yesterday I checked the website and it said it was open today, and I was here at 10:30, and it was closed. There was no announcement, and a lot of people were disappointed. I hope it improves. Waste of my time. Gas. …

  • Chad

Nothing is ever in stock, the shelves are always bare. I'm not sure why this location never gets stock, it's brutal. You can't post good numbers if you have nothing to sell... Always lots of staff who will ask if you need help, so I guess that's a bonus.

  • Jaclyn Davis

Went during Black Friday sales so was crazy in there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ended up having to return a product. Took maybe 5 minutes. My advice is pay attention to return policies before purchasing. Different things =different policies.

  • Marina Havard (Marishinka)

This location appears smaller but has a more knowledge staff then polo park location. Also since the store is almost divided in half by appliances and by computers and tech. It’s unusual. However after encountering so many staff I could not get help.

  • Jian Giesbrecht

Terrible curb side side pick up times. Ordered something Saturday morning and still haven’t got a pick up email. it is Monday now and still nothing. All I needed was a Ethernet cable which woulda taken less then a few minutes to grab on my own

  • Steven Olah

Great selection of all sorts of electronics and paraphernalia. The staff is helpful to the point that when I balked at the price of a patch cord they recommended trying Staples (right next door!) where I found a better price on the same item.

  • Darwin Hudson

Kindly approach all customers equally. Their staff approached me and my wife enthusiastically (may be we looked the part) but he ignored the another gentlemen who was in the aisle. It was very apparent that he needed some assistance but the

  • amanda simmons

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Our family have been loyal customers for years but after our experience yesterday we will not be returning. After their service department was unable to fix my laptop they wasted our time and gave us the

  • Kat Leigh

Outside of the absolutely awful selection of products as a baseline, even the expensive items are clearly still awful quality. Both a $100 HDMI cable and a $139 set of headphones from what should be decent brands broke after only 4 months.

  • Pablo Ventura

Geek Squad warranty on an iPod purchase has been a complete waste of time and money. 3 year warranty has been needed 3 times already for same issue with battery. They have not fixed this issue and insist on sending it away 3 times for 6

  • Tom Becker

This is the experience of my "BEST BUY" i have made so far. I went into one of the stores the other day. The sales are amazing. Rows upon Rows upon Rows of deals. Must be "black friday everyday at best buy". One last thing was that my

  • Sadegh Ghorbani-Dalini

The mobile phone department said f this store is the worst. I was waiting in the line for almost one hours and 2 guys there was wasting time to laugh with 2 bodies there. It’s one of the stupidest behaviour I’ve ever seen.

  • Dan Law

One of the better Best Buy's in the city. Selection is hit and miss and more of a self serve electronics store. If you have questions cross your fingers. They are helpful but not knowledgeable. Usually clean and quick.

  • M Singh

Was there today for exchange but a shift manager was so rude, judegmental and denied. Went to different location and they exchanged with smile.should learn customer service for what a Best Buy is known for. Thanks

  • Xyra Clauss

Poor customer service. Would appreciate it if the employees talk to customers nicely and patiently. Was asking for assistance a couple of times and was rudely asked to wait. One helped us nicely but one was rude.

  • Rob Ellchuk

Geek Squad staffing issues are terrible (staff are very nice if you get through to someone) 3 visits over 5 months and each time having to wait an hour, either to find someone or the only person working is busy

  • Jeffrey Wong

Refund process is like an interrogation. I visited to return a goods from an online order, but some coupon issue and lack of internal communication made them frustrated. The senior guy did not act politely.

  • Chris Meunier

This is one of the smaller locations I have visited. That said, they have an excellent variety of products and lots of branded displays and demos. Also, the staff was friendly and seemed customer-centric.

  • Jeremy McGill

I understand why nobody shops at physical stores any more! I came in for 1 thing and had to wait 20 minutes for somebody to come and get it down off the shelf. Next time I'll order on Amazon instead!

  • Rick

I ordered a new laptop online and chose to pickup in-store. The store was clean and I was able to get my laptop from the order desk with our much of a wait. I would shop here again.

  • Cheryl Rosee

Went there to buy a laptop sleeve. An employee offered to help me right away and directed me to the correct aisle. Good selection, fair prices. Happy with the product I choose :)

  • Joshua Atwood

First off the smell in this place is brutal. Rude staff, that will follow you around to make sure your not stealing but won't offer any help. Manager is the worst of them all.

  • Temitope Elebiomayo

Very helpful staff, despite meeting a new staff, he was helpful and product knowledge of the staff made decision-making faster, different product choices gives options.

  • Stanislav

Great experience and excellent service. Would highly recommend. If you need mobile phone or wearable - ask/look for Junaed, Jaitun or Manuees. They are the best!

  • Christopher Simmonite

They get paid on commission so they're always trying to upsale you, I highly recommend bringing someone who knows electronics with you when making a purchase!!!

  • Lindsey Henley

Terrible customer service. The manager is horrible and the hours and bad. They’re basically forcing everyone to shop online. Sell your stock if you have any.
