Me and a friend walked in and looked around for what we were there for and ended up needing help. We seen this young lady employee walk across the floor and asked for help. She kept walking while saying "hold on." Now that would have been perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the way it was said and done. In fact, I and my friend could actually feel the negative Ora and it was all over the young lady employee's face. Made us feel as if we were a bother. We both acknowledge that. Unfortunately, this was not the last encounter with the young lady employee. Me and my friend ended up standing in line for help. No biggie. When we got to our turn. We spoke with the guy employee and explained what we were there for. I and my friend were asked by the guy employee who was helping us to come around to the side of the counter were he was standing to view the monitor and look at the items we wanted. He then stepped away to get the items. While we waited. Another employee, guess who, yes the youg lady employee from before, approached us and rudely told us we weren't supposed to be were we were and to go back to the other side because she needed to use the monitor for another customer. I tried explaining, that we were asked to stand there and the person who was helping us went to get something and was using that monitor with the information pulled up for us. Now if there were no other monitors she could use. I would understand why she needed that one that was being use for us. But there were at least 2 others she could have used. In fact, she was actually using one of the other monitors while we were on the one we were using. She then said to me, move to the other side. I need this this one. And was very mean and rude in the way she said it. Now my Friend is very quiet, very reserved. But the way the young lady employee said what she did. Made my friend say something to her. I was shocked my friend did say something, but I understood why. The young lady employee was saying things like, " aren't you an adult?, how old are you? In a very condescending manner. I just kept repeating. Customer service please, while she was asking how old I was, over and over. Lol. It's funny now. But it wasn't then. I must say. I was totally embarrassed. My friend was very upset which is very seldom. When the guy employee came back. He actually told her to stop and move away. Then took me and my friend up front. In fact he was apologetic and gave me a discount on one of the items I was purchasing. To sum it up. I and my friend were customers. We could have went to Target or Walmart for what we purchased. We chose BestBuy. So we should have been treated as if we were appreciated and valued. Not as if we were being done a favor. This is not the BestBuy way. I know. I shop BestBuy often. I have a BestBuy credit card for God sake. Although it's not BestBuy's fault, one of there employees didn't display customer service. I still have to give 1 star. This rating is for service. The guy who actually assisted me was cool. But the way the young lady employee acted. Was unexcusable, very unprofessional, and very embarrassing. I shouldn't be left to feel that way when I'm spending my hard earned money.

Gessner Dr., Houston Tx 77036. My husband and I were in the area of this Best Buy on May 4th. We called the store, looking for a Nintendo product for my daughter's birthday this week. The employee who originally picked up the phone seemed like she more interested in getting us off the phone instead of helping us. We asked for the product, she said hold on. She came back on the phone and quickly said, "We don't have the item in the store." When we asked her if she could check and see if other Best Buys carried the item, she let out a sigh, before saying hold on again. I thought this was rude. She came back quickly to the phone and said no one carries the item. I wasn't even convinced she even checked the system, so I asked to speak to a manager. After asking for a manager, a guy came on the phone. He said his name was Keith. I was hoping he would be helpful. But he was anything but helpful. He was also talking fast and disregarded the fact that I was not happy with the fact the lady was rushing me off the phone. I didn't get a sorry or anything. He just continued to say ... how may I help you ... like what I said didn't even matter. I then asked for his manager's name. He told me Jimmy. I then asked for Jimmy's number. He wouldn't give me the number. In fact, when I refused to have him to assist me, he hung up on me. I have never communicated with this store in the past. But, after I talked to both of those employees I will say I was very disappointed in the customer service here. One thing is for sure, since the customer service is this poor at this location, I will never step foot in this store. I hate that I got hung up on, instead of making arrangements to pick-up an item for my daughter's birthday. I am waiting to hear back from the general manager after sending an email.

I want to support local business and community but this Best Buy has 0 customer service. Got there before 9 pm because I have to get a replacement lap top power cord as I have lost my mine and laptop going low in battery. When I went to the front, it was empty. I went to the return lane because it was the only person available, even though it was a lady laying down on the counter as if she was asleep. She told me to go the front register if it is not return. But I didn’t see anyone at the front register??? Then, another lady in the front was chatting with security come over to the register and said I should have went to the return lane I told her the other lady told me to come to the front and it looks like no one was around. Then, she said because we are closed but it was before 9 PM. I said it is not 9 yet (It should be a really quick checkout). She have extreme attitude problem and mumbled something…. I ask for the manager and she said I can go to return or the guy at the front myself. Finally, she ask someone else for the manager. As manager Bryan shows up, she continues to argue with me in front of the manager…. And manager said they close the front register but there was no instructions, announcements, and wrong information was provided…. And the lady walked away without any apology. It should be a simple 2 minutes checkout that turns into a horrible experience with 0 customer service experience. This is Best Buy???

I was there to look at TVs and find a MS Windows 10 CD since my system had a bad sys config error and mine, from Best Buy, came preloaded but no CD. They weren't stocked on the display save for one Pro edition in a locked case and the other was an empty box. Salesperson had to ask two other employees where they were stored. He climbed up a ladder to storage area and could not find any but the Pro series (surprise since they're $50 more) and said they had no others in stock. He did offer to call other stores but I passed as who wants to drive all over when your computer is on a blue screen of death loop? Plopped down my $189. + tax and just cruised the store a bit. Here's the question, shouldn't he be able to first check his in-store stock on his system before he and I both waste time searching? Second question, if I had checked online would I have discovered they had it or no? As I was browsing, low and behold, there's a Windows 10 Home edition, shrink-wrapped and hanging out on the wrong shelf in the wrong area. Then the hassle of return, refund, repurchase. Store had plenty of associates, most not assisting customers, just talking amongst themselves. How about straightening up your store, restocking, checking endcaps? Ugh. Gotta say the TVs were gorgeous and yep, will be buying another in the near future. Will do my own checking online for what is actually in stock before I return.

I had a very bad experience. Turns out they hire installers that dont know how to install their own products. Employee complaining that it will take 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs for installation. They stating "let me see if i have time" also said "let me check on your hard wire kit in stock, might have to go to another store and come back" ( he never checked if they had any instock, i told him they had 8 in stock) then he went on stating let me see your car to see if i can assemble it. That when he said he cant do it. I bought Rexing M2...after so much negative attitude from this geek squad installers i decided to return back the merch. From the start it was excuses after excuses. After waiting for 2 weeks to scheduled an installation because they canceled my 1st time. Then driving 30 mins. Just from them to say they cant do it...it seemed to me he just didnt want to. I left very upset and disappointed with best buy. When you scheduled any car appointment they always ask when yr and type of car...that way they can prepare for installation...not in this case. I should of taken pic but like I said i was so upset, all i wanted to do is get my refund and leave . I will never.. ever recommended this store to anyone....again this was my experience.

It was ok, I had a little wait, wasn't acknowledged while I waited in the computer area. I came to trade in laptop and buy a new one. Old sales guy with accent said he would ask management or customer service for price adjustment on the sale of the laptop I screenshot but only if I signed up to be a member with BestBuy. Talk about being backed into a corner. He went on to say manufacturers warranty only cover defects and I need to buy their warranty. He said my laptop I wanted to trade in wasn't set up right originally. AT THAT POINT I KNEW HE WAS FULL OF IT. What he didn't know is I'm a computer engineer and the computer was set up correctly . Management picked up on ques and took over transaction and I was satisfied when I left the store. I escaped the bribery and selling me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. I mightve gone for the membership had he not bribed me and lied about my laptop being set up wrong. How much commission does he need? Jesus! #becareful

I have been a Best Buy customer for a few years now. I mostly buy Sony products including TVs, audio, phones etc. There just doesn't seem to be any other electronics stores that offers the products and service equivalent to Best Buy. Just today I purchased a Sony 65" TV from the Gessner store. My regular Best Buy store is either Sugar Land or Galleria (I like Magnolia), but today I did buy from Gessner. Brenda and Anthony assisted me and they did a FANTASTIC job. They are not just "employees", but they actually care about Best Buy. It's as if they have a real interest in the success of the store. Brenda knows about customer service. We talked a bit about the various nuances of retail. She gets it and she cares. Anthony knows his products. We talked a bit about the various products and models. He made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I just wanted to say that they both did a great job. It's people like them that make me enjoy going back to Best Buy.

So I get to this Best Buy at 8 minutes to closing. Yes I know they were closing in 8 minutes. Instead of greeting me and asking me how I could be helped in 8 minutes. The manager Bryan said in 8 minutes we are closing. The manager Bryan or Brian however it is spelled. I said I only need to exchange this that's all. He said we are closing in 8 minutes. It was a simple swap out of car phone charger. I go to the return section the young man back there was so friendly and kind I unfortunately didn't get his name, probably would make a better manager since Instead of helping Brian the manager was just chatting on his cell phone while telling me I had 8 minutes. Long and behold this young helpful man had to ask Brian if he could exchange the item for me and Brian said no. This is the type of customer service that will put businesses out of business. Check the cameras he had a gray shirt on today 8 minutes before closing.

I would give a zero for review if there was a thing. The worse customer service experience right from purchase. The sales guy was way too arrogant. I ignored it because I had made up my mind that I will buy from there. Paid extra to remove the old appliance. I was told delivery time was between 12 and 6. I was told that I will get a call too. At 12 noon deliver showed up unannounced. He had yet again a terrible attitude. He said the appliance cannot go in that way, we have to use the hallway. I said okay and started clearing out the hallway. It took 5 minutes to be exact. I came back out to tell him its clear. Guess what? The delivery guy left without notification. It goes on and on. Customer service told me I have to wait, the appliances is in transit. But the delivery guy cannot wait right? And u call me a loyal member. Come get ur membership. I'll go else were.

Thankful for Best Buy management for saving me time,money,and my little brother! Word to the wise if you have someone purchase any item for you at any Best Buy make sure they give you your receipt or give there phone number. That will save you hard times and heartaches! I was lucky that the young lady who was apart of the management team and very pro efficient and knowledgeable was able to find my brothers purchase he made for me and returned an item that I did not need. I received store credit and was able to make the purchases i actually needed. And that’s after I had visited 3 Best Buy before that. All but this one told me there was nothing they can do. I believe the Manager at this location was Ramona. I will find out her name and updated this post later.

I have been coming here for many years. I have always been the most knowledgeable and technology and the widest selection. In recent years with an online purchasing and the ability to find good deals shopping online. My business is gone elsewhere. However around the Christmas holidays I was going away with a customer service. Because they do not carry their employees and sales commission they are not motivated to sell you anything that you might need. I came in looking for an Apple product. And the sales person actually got me on a computer and find me a better deal. So while Best Buy Could not match or beat at the headers price on this particular they will still be my go to electronic store because of their knowledge and they price match.

Shout out my guy jeff in the electronics department. I was looking online for a wireless charger because one of my phones charger port was broken. They had one at another location but this one was closer. He help me locate the rite people to assist me the best. After I asked him to look at a screenshot of the item I was looking for. He looked it up and they had only one left but it was a upgraded version of what I needed. He was able to price match the online price of the Item. Thanks my man saved me a nice chunk of change. And shout out Karen in geek squad for helping me with my computer problems even tho her appointment walked up rite after me. Good customer service #donmarquise approved

The customer service is this store is horrible. The staff acts as if you are bothering them when asking about prices. They pretend as they are busy so that can't help their customers. When I asked to speak to a Manger, there was a man on the phone and he stated he was the Manger while talking to a customer on the phone. This means that he truly is not validating me concerns. I was truly speechless at this point. Wow! This whole store is really a joke! What top the icing on the cake, as I was leaving, already exiting through the doors a man ran up to me asked for my receipt. I was livid. If they believe that their customers are thieves then they need to have the police at the door.

The staff members are very helpful to their customers right from the moment you walked into the store. Everything we needed were found. The store manager was very active all over the store. I like his energy. He was an added layer of activity to his employees by helping the employees to assist the customers. The store was very clean. The only drawback I had was the first employee that I asked where the antennas were. He sent us to the wrong aisle. I will recommend that some of the staff members should be trained or get themselves familiar with where store's items are located. Besides that, everything in the store is easily located and accessible

Sent here by the Richmond/Galleria location when they were out of a particular phone. Not hard to get to, but a little bit geto once you're inside. No one was at the mobile desk when I walked in; I had to ask a cashier to send someone over. Eventually got what I needed, but check this out: RESTOCKING FEES ARE BACK. If you buy a piece of major electronics and return it, you're not getting all your money back. On a $300 purchase, you're losing $60 on a non-defective return - the penalty is 20 PERCENT. Just know that before you buy at this or any other Best Buy locations this year. They got rid of restocking fees a while ago, but they're back now.

Take my advice and don’t buy from this store!!!!!! I just Purchased a brand-new Toshiba 65 inch When I got home I open the TV and the screen has cracks all over. I went back a day after to the same store to replace it. both of the managers are not respectful and polite I explained the situation and they told me that it’s my fault and I’m not able to replace it I asked him if I have another option they said no they have nothing to do about that. I feel like this tour don’t care about customer satisfaction. Like you can see in the picture the TV is brand new and still have the wrap on I’m not going to go there again thank you for nothing

I buy a lenovo Chromebook from there last year. It's screen cracked and I went to customer service to show them since my guarantee is not expired yet. I didn't do appointment before I go so I have to wait around 1hour and 30 mins to get my turn. So I recommend you to take appointment before you go. They took a look and told me that they will text me as soon as ready. Later, they text me that it is qualified to exchange with a new one so they help me with it. The staff explain well if you don't understand. You can exchange the exact same one if it is in stock or you can exchange with the new model or modify one by giving more money.

I bought a 75 inch Samsung TV from Worst Buy the other day. It turned out to be damaged in box. I had to return it the next and Jimmy who introduced himself as the store manager, came up and behaved super rude and started mocking my explanation. He even used F word couples times and blaming me for the damaged TV. He accused me of lying and not being right. So please never trust BestBuy( Worst Buy). And I suggest not to buy anything from them. They are dis-honest, Scammers and unprofessional. They scammed me 1249.00 $. (One Thousand Two Hundred and forty nine dollars. They also kept the TV. Can you believe it?

I went to Best Buy to buy a replacement iPhone. T-mobile really messed up my account when I switched over to them 2 weeks ago. In addition to activating the wrong devices and failing to activate my AppleWatch, they had my social security number wrong. Combine those issues with two factor authentication required and it was a royal mess. Danny in cellular service, kept me calm and worked on the mess for over an hour to finally get my new phone up and running. Danny was kind, patient and friendly... and she cut through the cluster fudge that is T-Mobile and got me taken care of, Thanks Danny You Rock!

I went to buy monitors and they did not have the ones I wanted... so I bought some cheap Tv's for $129.99 each... I got two and they work awesome for my at home computer setup! Compre dos teles para conectar my computadora a ellas. Muy buena calidad por $129.99 cada una! The only thing that got me a bit frustrated is how 3 employees walked past me and not one asked me if i needed help. I after 15min I just went to go look for somebody and asked them to help me find them in inventory. This Best Buy has been here for years!! It's a staple to the SW community but as of lately it seems impossible to find good help in this store. It's like the floor representatives are only interested in helping you if they see that you're trying to shop big. I even tried asking one of the cashiers for quick help and the guy was clueless. This review isn't based on one visit either, I've been here 3 times in the past month and have had the same horrible customer service experience. I'm giving them 3 stars because I spent my life here but management needs to get it together with reps.

Stood in line outside for 15 minutes in 95 degree heat to go into a store with empty shelves. I asked the associate monitoring people at the door how many people they letting in at once and he said 25. I have been to multiple Best Buy’s looking for a particular product and no one has been at the door monitoring customers. I would not come here on the weekend for anything with those numbers. Now that I got in the store, nobody greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. 25 customers in the building and you not serving them either ‍♀️. Go somewhere else !

I can see why these Best Buy stores slowly go down the drain as nobody there cares about customers nor do any of them have any proper knowledge of the product they are selling. Especially the store manager, Jimmy Emptyhead, who is incredibly rude and rather plays the childish mister-popular with his way younger teenage-employees, rather then doing his job advising a customer who's about to make a 2000 dollar purchase. I wish Best Buy a bright future and of course Jimmy Whitehead an even brighter sales career in his already so incredibly excited and educated career path...

I went in to pre-order the an iPhone 15. Long story short, my order was cancelled. I wasn’t notified until I arrived at the store, after leaving work early and driving across town. On top of that, no one in the store seemed to know how to function the phone pos. It’s funny that even the “store manager” couldn’t operate a sales system.. it’s even funnier seeing a person of his position deflect and put it on someone else, as “managers” typically seem to do. No biggie though, he did offer me a 10% discount off a phone case, for a phone that got cancelled lol.

Don’t go to this BestBuy unless you had no choice. The manager and employees here was so meant . They do not even wanna take care customers. I came there to trade in my router to get 15% coupon off. They let me wait 30 minutes since nobody know how to trade in my router and processed the coupon. One guys from repair department who said manager of store told me that he was unable to find the offer?! Even I showed him on my phone. When I asked him if I could speak to manager, he just said the manager left and there was no way I could reach the store manager.

Either the Best Buy here is incompetent or Best Buy in general is incompetent. These guys sold me 2 western digital 14tb hard drives, but when I checked the storage capacity, the storage in these drives was significantly less than what was advertised (around 500gb for one of them and 1000 rn for another). I contacted the manufacturer and everything and they told me to go to the store and return it. Unfortunately, they refused to accept the return. Now I’m down 400 dollars and they just lost a customer. Will not come back here or any Best Buy ever again

Frustrating experience. Bought open box laptop. Asked specifically at the time of purchase, and was reassured that the open box laptop carries the same 1-year warranty as a new laptop. Two months later, it stopped charging. Called manufacturer, who told me that warranty was only 3months. Called Best Buy, and after waiting in queue for 45min, they dropped the call. I went into the store, and the manager suggested that I run the circle again, to call the manufacturer or Best Buy online. Never again. I will look to credit card company to dispute charge.

a bad pick up service. I bought a 65-inch TV at Geesner and I only had to pick up at Richmont, I had to wait. In the store 2.30 hours when it was ready they told me that I would need to have a line inside the store for an hour when the line finished I had to wait another 45 minutes because nobody wanted to put it in my car and I and my wife had to pick it up and put it in my car While the staff including the person at the entrance just looked why they say they are not lavor and that they are just CUSTOMER SERVICE that's ridiculous.

This is the bad place to shop. I want to support local business and try to shop at there. On the shelve, there was still a sticker showed the sale price of a item. I went to check out, the cashier told me different price, then she asked somebody to check the sticker. Nobody bothered to do that, and he assumed that sticker is either for different item or misplaced. I would not mind paying for it, but they did not even go to the place and checked their mistake. I felt like they were lazy and did not deserved my money.

Best Buy and their staff has definitely down graded over the years. Two employees were more concerned about flirting with each other than helping me. When they finally did help and grab the item I wanted from the back they handed me a shipping box.. hope my item is inside this box haha. After paying went to leave and the alarm went off, the young girl working the door just waved me off and continued to play on her phone. I guess if anyone wants to steal from Best Buy this would be a great location for it

The service I received today was great! The manager Whens was the best help I have ever had at any Best Buy store as well as any other store in general. He understands customer concerns. Not only was it a quick and easy process but I was 100% satisfied! While I waited my turn in line he took a brief moment to acknowledged me as well as other customers and said he would be with us in a minute. Small things do make a difference and this store even the greeter did an outstanding job! KUDOS! *College Station, TX*

Had my car audio system installed here. Initially I had an appointment at 1230pm at the Richmond location but BB moved the installation department to Sharpstown apparently the CSR rep didn’t know that when scheduling my appointment. Fortunately, I was able to reschedule for the same day at 2. I did have to pay alitte more for an uber ride but it was worth it. Cung the installer was great and did a solid job on my car. I was also able to get a new 4 ga. amp kit off the shelf. Luckily it was in stock.

The worst store ever! I went there to trade in my paid-off Samsungs for I phones, but the employees there did not know what they were doing. They seemed very confused just to trade in a phone and they also messed up my T mobile account by putting in wrong information which blocked it. I spent literally 3hrs in that store and the store managers were very unhelpful, in the end, I obviously wasn't able to trade in my phones. Seriously not recommended to go to this place. This is worst buy not best buy.

Called to make an incident report on one of the geek squad drivers after almost getting t-boned in traffic from them jumping into ongoing traffic to make a turn. I couldn’t not speak with management and after one of the employees finds out what I’m calling about instead of at least acknowledging they would handle the situation the employees decided to circle my call. This is horrible for drivers to drive recklessly putting others lives at risk to get somewhere says a lot about BEST BUY

I love all Best Buy stores. What's not to like about a store that has a large variety of everything electronic or tech, and the Geek Squad reasonably priced protection plans to support the products they sell above and beyond the manufacturer warranty? And there's always plenty of employees available to help you. This store in particular is easy to shop because of the huge amount of parking, ease of access to the mall area, and close proximity to the freeway. I recommend it.

I needed an unlocked phone. Customer service with Hugo and Nassir was 5 stars. They listened. Got me what I wanted. Set up the phone. I didn't feel pressured or over sold. I left very happy. An extra shout out: While waiting, I observed another great sales representative. A young, very petite woman was helping her own customers in English and Spanish. At the ssme time, her co-workers were going to her for answers. She was poised, polite and professional the entire time.

ON 03-17-2023 I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW HP LAPTOP; LESS THAN A WEEKLATER IT COMPLETELY CRASHED ON. I UNDERSTAND TECH HARDWARE CAN BE BAD HOWEVER THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM BEST BUY ONLINE, GEEK SQUAD, AND STORE PERSONNEL IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. BEST BUY IN GENERAL WAS HARD TO WORK WITH WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING. STAFF AT STORE WAS RUDE AND SHOWED NO SENSE OF URGENCY TO HELP. I NEED BEST BUY TO ADDRESS ALL OF THESE ISSUES AND PROVIDE A RESOLUTION.

The item I wanted wasn't available in-store despite internet guidance advising that it was. My second choice was hidden away on the bottom shelf in a plain brown box so it took some time to find it. The lowest priced items also have no shelf tags so unless you knew the price ahead of your arrival you would not likely have considered it. That said, when I had it in my hand one of the storied blue shirts was immediately there and ready to ring it up.

This location is what you'd expect, not much different than other Best Buys which is a good thing. It's updated, has most of what anyone could want in regards to mainstream electronics and appliances. Customer service is always great so I don't really have any complaints there. The only reason why I put 4 stars is because I find that generally you can find more of a variety of product and specialty electronics at other electronics retailers.

Was welcomed by an employee as soon as I came in as i was walking around i guess i either looked confused or lost or something and an employee came up to me and asked me if i needed any help. I told him was I was looking for and in the process shared some information of competitive products to help me decide on the best option for me. The whole time there was a great experience. What a horrible inconvenience, I work downtown and I don’t get off until 7:30, due to traffic with southwest freeway construction, I made it to the store to pickup my online purchase at 8:03pm. I’ve paid for the item online in case I arrived late, but they wouldn’t let me. Now I have to repeat this tomorrow again.. This is the only store that has this item in houston.. It was horrible. I bought a computer, on line, through Best Buy. It had a 1 year warranty. The battery would not recharge. I took it to S.Gessner Best Buy. They kept it until the warranty expired and returned it to me saying they do not support the brand. This is ever so wrong. They accepted the computer for repair. I will not be going back.

Placed an online order for curbside pickup and went and picked it up the next day. When I checked in for curbside pickup, the young lady brought it out promptly within less than 5 minutes.
