I came across Big Boss Spicy Chicken while watching a segment of Chicago's best. I think from there I built a high expectation as the huge foodie I am. Considering I have tried numerous Chicken joints all over the city, including suburbs. After a couple weeks of reading the reviews and talking about it with my co worker, we decided to order it for pick up. We ordered the big boss spicy chicken sandwich (medium heat) and an order of Curly Fries. As I arrived there were at least 4 people waiting on their order, I had placed it over the phone. After they said 10 minutes, I took at least 15 min to make sure it was ready once I arrived. When I got there, I couldn't find any parking as it was on a busy street and had very limited parking space. I ended up parking across where there was a gas station. When I arrived I had to wait another 6 min as they were behind. Order ended up taking at least 20 minutes. First good thing: The fries were crispy and pretty tasty. I almost finished the box of fries (pretty big- could be shared) before I even took a bite of the sandwich. Let down: The chicken sandwich did not live up to the expectations. Wasn't crispy enough although it was fried, the sauce was tasty but not as spicy as some reviews mentioned the medium sauce to be. The chicken did not seem the best quality, I dislike the brown spots and slim/skin in between bites. I cut it in half to try to finish it but only ate half, but not because it was amazing. Although I support all business, I'm not 100% I would go back to try the other Items.

This restaurant is definitely hard to miss when the whole place is painted so beautifully that it looks like a piece of street art that can be seen from outside. It is definitely hard to miss, which is why I decided to have my lunch at this restaurant. I have already been here a couple of times. This place is really amazing. Not only because their food is delicious, especially their spicy chicken sandwiches, but also because the place has a wonderful atmosphere and vibe, as well as great service. Just like the outside of the restaurant, the inside is also filled with beautiful paintings. It is just a small spot, but it is hard not to remember. The staff here are also very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The service is also quick. There was even a time when I went here and the place was busy, but despite that, I was still able to get my order quickly. The food here is the best. My all-time favorite food on their menu is definitely their Big Boss Sandwich, which is basically their spicy chicken sandwich. It comes with different spice levels, which I only ever choose mild because the medium hot could be so hot that I could definitely not handle it. Their spicy chicken sandwich is amazingly delicious. The flavor of it is definitely great. It always tastes fresh and delicious. The chicken is crispy; it is tender and juicy. Most importantly, it always melts in my mouth and, of course, with a nice kick of spiciness to it. It is definitely one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches in the area and in Chicago.

From the moment I walked into Big Boss Spicy Fried Chicken, I knew I was in for a treat. The smell of crispy fried chicken wafted through the air, and the staff greeted me with friendly smiles. The menu offered a variety of options, but I decided to go for the Spicy Fried Chicken sandwich and waffle fries. Let me tell you, that sandwich did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked - juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside - and the spice level was just right. The bun was soft and fresh, and the toppings (choice of spice level, onions, coleslaw, jalapenos, butter bun) added a nice balance to the heat. And those waffle fries? They were addictively delicious - crispy and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great - clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Big Boss Spicy Fried Chicken to anyone in the Chicago area. If you're a fan of spicy fried chicken, this place is a must-visit. The quality of the food and the friendly service make it a top-notch dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Pricing was reasonable. Okay food. Paid street parking. On the level, I only went to this place because of the name and their colourful building. The only thing I LOVED about this place was this sort (Chinese?) flavoured cucumber in a small cup. It's not quiet pickled but it's not not pickled. That doesn't make sense but I still think of that cucumber cup to this day. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. However, their chicken nuggets are mechanically separated slop you'd get at the frozen food section of the Jewels. A proper chicken joint should make their own nuggets. Waffle fries weren't very good. They were dry and lacked flavour. Their sauces were lack luster. Their BBQ sauce is literally just Sweet Baby Ray's and their ketchup is generic. Other chicken joints have their own twist on generic sauces to differentiate themselves from stuff you'd get at grocery stores. I can't say much for their hot sauce because it tastes like every other hot sauce you'd get at any other chicken joint which is alright.

Update 10/9/21: first time post pandemic, food still great! Highly recommend This place was recommended by a friend as “the best fried chicken I’ve ever had.” Entering from the outside, you’re not sure what to make of it. Lots of graffiti, and a huge chicken art. Not what one typically thinks for the Asian-styled chicken my friend raved about. Inside it is extremely clean. 5/5 passes the “would I take my Asian mom there” We got two chicken sandwiches and a half chicken: mild, medium and hot. The chicken sandwiches were really good! Fresh chicken, fully seasoned, with coleslaw that pairs well. It maintains its juiciness while keeping the breading crisp. If anything, it might be almost too intense. The half chicken flavoring was intense, while the breading maintained its tenderness. Chicken was good, “not extremely special,” but paired well with the breading. They probably brine the chicken, which makes it taste juicier than others. Bonus: Passion Fruit Green Tea is a 10/10. Overall, I would go again. 10/10. I don’t have enough experience with fried chicken as my friend, but this is definitely up there and a must try.

If you ever want to try the most delicious moist crunchy in every bite chicken sandwich the come to this place! I have been seeing this place in my FB feed and once I was nearby I popped in to have lunch. OMG!!!! I am in chicken sandwich heaven. I got the sandwich flavor in HOT. Let me tell you just enough heat for me. I don't think I could've gone hotter. Every bite was crunchy until the end. The combination of heat with creamy crunchy coleslaw was the most amazing combination I have ever tasted. I am so coming here again I want to be hungry again RIGHT NOW to have another sandwich. $8 is a great price for this delight. The Mac-n-Cheese was a great addition. Creamy cheesy with what looked like a touch of pepper was the coup de gras! All I can say is come try it for yourself. If you have an open mind for flavor you will love this place. Not much to look at as a restaurant but who cares, you come to eat, not relax! Eat away, thank me later! They didn't get 5 stars because they want you to BUY water instead of just giving you a cup of water. I certainly didn'tike that.

  • Andrew Lindstrom

This little chicken shop is so under the radar I can't blame you for missing it. But food blew me away. I got their Big Boss chicken sandwich, and let me tell you the chicken was perfect. Beautifully fried, juicy inside and crunchy outside. The sauce on it was a wonderful blend of spice and character with several different flavors dancing together. The wait wasn't long and it was so worth it. It was obvious my sandwich was freshly prepared, the chicken was so hot I almost couldn't eat it. The slaw and onions on the sandwich brought it all together and I don't know if I've had a better chicken sandwich in this city. The restaurant itself is almost tucked away under the freeway on a busy street. The interior is simple but enjoyable, while the paper plate and solo cup worked to create a backyard BBQ feeling that's perfect for fried chicken enjoyment. I will most definitely be going back.

I was craving buffalo wings and wanted to go someplace local rather than a chain. They serve the entire chicken wing here, rather than cutting it up into segments, which I absolutely love. I ordered the “hot” level sauce, which was spicy but not too bad. The sauce has a bit of an asian flair which is nice in contrast to typical buffalo wing flavor. I think they do serve a ranch or blue cheese dip — however, it does not come with the wings and you need to ask for it specifically. I opted to eat inside and the interior felt a little dirty, despite the color artwork on the walls. There is a public restroom but it is in pretty rough shape. Overall, it was a pretty nice experience. The unexpected highlight was the passion fruit tea, which was great to cool off with.

Great spicy chicken in a local restaurant with helpful staff! The chicken has lots of Asian sauce options, and don't worry about the spice scale, it runs a bit mild. The chicken itself has crunchy breading and is moist. They offer milk tea, but it's 90% creamer and the pearls don't have any flavor, so I'd skip it.

We just came back from Nashville not long ago and we had been craving for fried chicken. If you’ve been to Nashville, one of the food you must try is the fried chicken. Anyway, we saw this restaurant has quite good reviews and decided to come and try. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the wings. The chicken sandwich was medium spicy, but it was already very spicy for my husband. We usually have quite spicy food, but medium level was already very spicy for my husband so it means it’s VERY spicy. The chicken wings were mild, and it already had some kicks. I enjoyed this one better. The fried chickens were very tasty, not just the batter only but also the meats. The only thing I didn’t like was the chicken wings were so big, each wing looked like a turkey leg. I wish they were smaller. Overall: Menu: 4stars Service: 5stars Food: 4stars Price: $

I haven't eaten breakfast yet so I stop by here and order some food. I just ordered a salad only. It came really quick. Grilled Chicken Salad has grilled chicken tender meat with romaine lettuce, tomato, corn, house dressing and mixed nuts on the side. Spicy Fried Chicken Salad is a chopped spicy crispy fried chicken with medium spicy sauce, Romaine lettuce, tomato, corn, house dressing and mixed nuts on the side. Big Boss Sandwich is a juicy boneless chicken, choice of spicy level, coleslaw, jalapeno, onion, spicy mayo and butter bun. You can add cheese for an additional charge. It is only spicy. Their chicken sandwich was the best of the best. It's juicy and flavorful. It's my first time to taste this kind of flavor. Their salad it's so delicious. It's yummy and perfect for vegetarians. I'd love to be back here.

  • Nick P

As someone who loves spicy foods, I love the sauce choices here. I order the extra hot (not the hottest but the second one) and it's plenty hot by my standards. There are milder options too if heat isn't your thing. The chicken sandwiches are amazing, and the bone-in chicken is also really good. Although the prices are a little steep, portions are pretty generous and the quality is there. Dine-in seating is available but limited due to the small area of the storefront, and takeout is available. Food usually takes about 10-15 minutes to cook, but I've only eaten here twice so I don't know how well this holds up during peak periods.

After my first visit here a year ago, I came back to try the same meals again. I am very impressed with the change they made in the food, as it seems the owners listened to the feedback and reviews! This time, the chicken are battered perfectly with the same taste & improved presentation! I love the flavor of the hot sauce (supposed to Nashville hot chicken style?) , but fair warning that it can be very spicy. The chicken sandwich is still big as ever and the hot sauce is fire. The chicken and sandiches are worth the prices (~$8-$13). They also expanded their menu to onclude more combos and other sides. I am really happy to see that the locally owned chicken business is still around, and made great improvements.

I read all these amazing reviews and decided to check this out. Thinking it would be good, I convinced my boyfriend to venture there on a rainy day. Maybe I was over hyped about it, but the experience felt off. We both ordered medium big boss chicken sandwiches and the sweet potato fries. The sandwich was alright, the sauce was really good but beyond that I wasn’t into the patty. The sweet potato fries needed some seasoning or salt or something. My cup of water had some specs of dirt floating in the bottom. It was a bummer and I ended up apologizing to my boyfriend for taking him here. I really had high hopes.

The food was decent. The pictures are a bit deceiving, the big boss sandwich was good but nothing great. The Mac & cheese and pot stickers lacked flavor. The only thing we enjoyed were the fries. Now the customer service was horrible. The young lady at the front desk was completely rude. Rolled her eyes and gave us attitude whenever we asked for anything. We were even hesitant to ask for napkins from how rude she was being. The place was freezing, we had to keep our coats on the entire time. I would’ve given 4 stars if it wasn’t for the very poor customer service. Not a place I will be returning to

Southwest Chinatown has this gem of a Chicken place that does great justice to the 'spicy' in its name. Would highly recommend their signature Big Boss Sandwich to anyone who loves chicken. Beyond the 5 spice levels stated on their menu (Crispy fried, Medium, Hot, X Hot, Big Boss Hot) are 3 hidden levels of hotness. You could go all the way up to the Big Boss Hot x3 if you want to do that to yourself. The servers are very welcoming and amicable and space usually isn't an issue on weekends. They are open till 10 although Yelp and their website might show different times. Definitely coming back ♥️

  • Roger Sansone

The service there is always great & the wait time is minimal. Their food is very good, but I have to say that they have the best spicy chicken sandwich that I have ever had, & everyone I tell about it agrees after they try it. Go treat yourself to probably the best spicy chicken sandwich you will ever have. If you don't like it too spicy they can accommodate that, & if you like it extremely hot they can accommodate that & everything in-between. So, go treat yourself the next chance you get & you'll be telling people to go there too.

It was delicious. I got the medium spicy ("Hot") chicken sandwich and fries. The spice level was good - made my nose run a bit, but was very manageable. I think I'll try the x-hot next time. The chicken breast was huge, and moist. One order of fries was more than enough to share - they were hot and crispy, a combination of curly and waffle fries. Indoor dining is closed right now. They have up a big plexiglass divider between customers and the cashier. No one else was there while I ordered and waited for my food to be ready.

I came for a late lunch and was a little nervous that the place was empty. The server was friendly and answered my questions since it was my first time there. 10 minutes later I was served a huge portion of wings, fresh and absolutely delicious. I was expecting lil wings for the price i paid but I was served a huge box for large wings. Couldn't be happier, so good and more than worth the price.

I had the big boss chicken samich and l really did enjoy eating that bad boy. A little PSA, the chicken samich is spicy. I eat spicy food and the medium was still spicy so if you can't haddle the heat, stay out the kitchen...just kidding but yeah go with mild. I can't comment on how good that one will be but Im sure it is just as good. Samich is pretty big so I think value wise, it is reasonable. I should of gotten the waffle fries with cheese but I will get that next time. I would definately recommend this spot.

My son and I were visiting Chicago for the Labour Day weekend and wanted a late evening snack. We had the fried drumsticks tossed in the Korean spicy sauce, house salad, mac & cheese and bubble tea. Delicious! The atmosphere and customer service was great. Would highly recommend, and get a pic with the angel wings.

After viewing the episode of Chicago's Best, where Big Boss Chicken was featured, the decision was made....It was raining, the streets were flooding, but we still had to make a trip to the city to try out the BIG BOSS spicy chicken sandwich. My husband and I both ordered the Big Boss, mine was mild, his was hot. The chicken was fried perfectly, with the right amount of seasoning. For it to be such a gloomy day, the building was radiant, bright and catches your eye. We will definitely be back!!

Went here for my birthday on 10/22. Chicken sandwiches are BIG AF. They're also made of dark meat, so if you're looking for white meat chicken you'll have to order tenders or actual chicken breast pieces on the bone. The plain chicken with no sauce has a nice kick in its own right. I didn't need the extra spice. Cheese puffs were pretty good, and the Korean mozzarella corn dogs are awesome. I recommend the corn dogs and the unsauced chicken on the bone. I will be back to try more things.

I’ve heard so many good things about this place! I finally tried it and I liked it but to me, it wasn’t the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It might have also been because I took it to go so I would definitely give it another try. They do give you a HUGE portion of chicken! I got full from only eating half the sandwich. It’s very affordable especially if you get their lunch special which is only $10 for a sandwich fries and a drink!

Friends has been recommending to this place for months, after getting disappointed from Popeyes chicken sandwich for having lack of flavor and dryness. This place is a hidden gem at Bridgeport, decent price and a giant portion of a chicken sandwich. I don’t think I ever had a chicken sandwich as tender as this, the popcorn chicken was good, the teriyaki thigh not so much. For only $1 getting a large portion chicken thigh and the soup was creamy and filling.

  • Karen Villa

Loved everything we got, except the Mac and cheese. It wasn't horrible, just not my favorite item. Hubby and I got the hot chicken sandwich and it has the perfect kick. Oh and the coconut shrimp are bomb!! I also loved their lemonade. The fried potstickers were also good.

I had read all these amazing reviews and decided to give it a try with my boyfriend. We both hated it. We got the big boss chicken sandwich. I got the mild and he got the medium, with the medium sauce in the side. The chicken itself was just so bland along with the batter. We were both disappointed. The food portion you get and how much it costs is a good deal but the food itself is just bad.

WOW. What a delicious spicy chicken sandwich!!!!! We definitely over ordered and they do not skimp. The portions are very size-able and great for sharing so you can get different things to try. We got the chicken sandwich (not spicy) the half chicken box (medium spicy), grilled cheese, corn, Mac n cheese, and cheese fries. The medium is SO SPICY I recommend lots of water when you eat this. I cannot even imagine what the fire hot spicy is.....

  • Anthony Thorpe

Terrible customer service. They kept getting our order wrong it took them 3 times to sort of get it right. Missed my "mild tenders" and tried telling me they were. The seating facing the windows had ants along it. They looked at me crazy when I asked for more napkins as they only gave me 4 napkins for a family of 6. First time here and I was a bad experience. Very over priced. $1 for a tiny cup of BBQ sauce no curiosity sauce given.

Thee best spicy chicken sandwich! Better than any fast food place. Have it with the passion fruit tea to cool down, they put real fruit in there. Update: the menu has expanded, tried the potstickers- amazing fried, will try steamed next time

Good chicken with a unique flavor different from a normal fried chicken place. Just get the regular chicken piece meals as they are fried perfectly and juicy. Medium heat already is hot for me though I am weak to spice. The flavor itself is what I come for with no need for sauce.

Excellent chicken sandwich. Extremely spicy so watch the spice level when ordering. Has a very unique flavor not found in other chicken sandwiches. Popeye's a few months ago had the best Chicken sandwich, but then it was discontinued and the chicken sandwich that came back now is not as good as before. Big Boss Chicken is the new standard and they sell cheese for the sandwich, Popeye's does not. Taste and be amazed.

  • Dan Hill

It’s honestly the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The breading was completely bland, the sauce on it really didn’t help. The buns was expired or stale, ended up taking out the meat part way through to just eat that. Even factoring in the price versus other places I would not suggest it to anyone. Was completely misled on this being any good from the coverage the place got. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

  • Inez Rodríguez

Loved the food, got the Big Boss sandwich, level Hot. I am a fiend for spicy food, this level made me sniffle a little but that was it. Will definitely go back to try Xtra Hot next time. Wings were huge. Service was SLOW, I saw a couple of people's orders get messed up, so I would recommend calling your order in and picking up.

My wife and I stopped by this afternoon for a quick lunch. We ordered a Half Bird(half medium spicy and half mild) and a Big Boss sandwich(medium spicy) with two fountain drinks. I barely finished the sandwich on my own and needed to skip dinner lol. The chicken tasted so good and medium spicy is spicier than most high spicy I have tried. The place is very close to the Halsted Orange Line train station.

  • Andrew Hartman

Extremely good, I really enjoyed the big boss sandwich. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Added a leg & thigh for $1 the regular chicken was great, nice flavorful kick, tiny bit of spice. The spot is cool, it's small, but can accommodate about 16 people to eat in at a time. Food is cooked fresh to order and took about 10 minutes to have our meal brought out. This place is great, please support them.

We got the spicy (Hot X) chicken sandwich and the half bird (Hot) chicken. I am a fan of the crispy, fried, and spicy chicken. The flavors came through and believe it was a fair price for the portion of food. Highly recommend!

It was just ok. I read that the level 3 spicy was way too spicy so I tried level 1. Turns out that level 1 spicy has no spice in it and was just a piece of fried chicken without much flavor. Bummer. I was hoping to try the Nashville hot chicken flavor. Anyway, the curly fries were fine and the coleslaw was ok (tasted like Kentucky fried chicken Cole slaw but a little bit thicker consistency).

Best fried chicken sandwich you can get in the city hands down. Ever since they've opened, this has been my go-to spot because of how consistent they are. Juicy never dry, sauce is delicious, and portion is pretty big.

Don't recommend this spot there was ants on the table facing the window. The food was good but kept messing up our order. I took about 3 times so they can get our order right. $1 for a little container of barbecue sauce, and $1 for 4 little packs of ketup. They also wanted to charge for lettuce and tomato. Bad service. The ants enjoyed the food more than 1 did. DONT EAT THERE

  • Angela Smith

I had the big boss chicken sandwich, I didn't have sauce (ok I was scared) but it was mildly spicy and tolerable. It was crispy yet flavorful, it was almost like extra meat. The waffle fries were seasoned just right. I also had the jumbo wings they were also good. I will definitely be returning, and don't forget the passion fruit tea, very tasty. The decor adds a nice touch!

Not exactly the best chicken sandwich. However, it will definitely fill you up. It's a little bit on the greasy side. I think their potato wedges were pretty good and their lemonade was very tasty. In my opinion, I don't think this particular place would hold up with other fast food restaurants like Popeye's or Chick-fil-A. Although, this place is just OK!

This place had decent boba! They fry their chicken in the same grease as their fish so the chicken sandwich tasted fishy. Also, the sandwich itself was breaded weird. Very Kind service! Not the best for big parties kinda small sitting area.

Holy hot chicken!! Ordered both a medium and an extra hot sandwich and definitely wasn't disappointed! Great heat but also great flavor, awesome curly fries and quartered chicken also. Definitely check out this colorful and unique place if you're looking for something different with a great expansive menu. Can't wait to return!

Great chicken! I got mine medium (as suggested by the other customers). The spice was perfect. My friend got plain. Great, tasted like fried pork skins.

Good flavor. The sandwich is decent. We had takeout and the chicken skin was soft and not crispy by the time we got home, which we already knew was a risk. The young lady at checkout was nice. We will dine in one day and give it another try.

Pretty good chicken. Great waffle fries. It's expensive and the best deals involve their chicken sandwich during lunch hours. Nice staff. Dining area has just enough room to seat around 15-20 customers. If you love chicken with spice this is the place for you. Parking is not that Great so go when it's not very busy.

  • M Juan

Love the food!! We got takoyaki, mac n cheese and fries for appetizer, free french toast because we spent more than $25! We tried the X-HOT sandwich, leg and thigh big bird. It is spicy! So ge ready to start sniffling and sweating from the spicy heat!! Definitely recommended chicken place if u love spicy foods!!

  • Jasper Baur

The folks who own the place are awesome!! I love their service and friendliness, this is a go-to lunch spot after morning practices. I especially enjoyed the family chicken platter.

The best spicy chicken salad around!!! The spice is the right amount and they never skimp on the lettuce. I usually order the spicy chicken salad and side of macaroni and cheese. The wait feels long, usually 15 minutes or more but it's worth it because it tastes like they added their ingredient of love.

My office and I have ordered this place 2 times now on grub hub; both times it was absolutely amazing. The order was correct both times. The chicken is huge, tender, crispy, and juicy! We also got free French toast because our order was over 30$ and wow what a treat! Our new favorite place. Thank you!

  • Johann Chau

I ordered the chicken sandwich with Big Boss Spicy Sauce and it did not disappoint. It was spicy, yet I tasted the other flavors (sweet and sour). The chicken was crunchy and the cabbage complimented it with the softness. I am definitely coming back to try the fried chicken, which my wife enjoyed.

Been ordering from big boss forever and they are consistently on point. If you like spice and fried chicken or wings then do NOT sleep on this place. 5/5 every time. Consistency is key and this place has it.

I love Nashville hot chicken and Big Boss puts a fun, Asian spin on the normal concept. I love the chicken, but everything is good! If you don’t like hot chicken, they have super tasty coconut shrimp too.

Indeed a very delicious chicken sandwich.HOT spicing to taste. All for $10.That is expensive for the pocketbook of anyone. Kitschy decor inside with artistic graffiti like exterior. Food quality good.Parking on metered street difficult.Service good. AWARDED 2 YUMS ON A SCALE OF 3

I’m sure the food is pretty good. My coworkers raved about it. It smells nice. But I just had a very unpleasant experience ordering from them. I probably wouldn’t go back, just for that reason. I can get good fried chicken elsewhere

Just ordered the mildly spicy drumsticks platter this weekend - hands down one of the best fried chicken I have had period. The breading is not overpowering while the meat is so juicy. Even after reheating a day or two later, the deliciousness remained - what a treat!

Great place with delicious chicken! I'll even take it one step further, way better than KFC and Popeyes. Their spice is also no joke.

This place got me sick it’s very cheap greasy chicken not cooked well. I would never eat here again. I thought the chicken sandwich would be breast meat like most places but it’s not it’s cheap meat put together with breading don’t waste your money or get sick. More

Hidden gem! The Big Boss Chicken Sandwich is amazing. It's a huge serving of chicken too. They have lunch specials as well. Great place to get lunch. I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. The medium level is pretty spicy just for a reference point.

The chicken sandwich is tasty, especially the coleslaw. Loved the curly fries! My only issue was the bathroom. It was dirty (toilet seat covered in urine), the seat was loose and the soap was watery. I would eat there again but probably get take out.

  • Christine Mei

Quality and quantity. $8 for basically a foot long of chicken in this sandwich. The cheese and jalepeno are key!! WARNING THOUGH: Their fried jalepenos are not batter fried, they’re whole jalepenos fried in oil- still delicious but SO SO SPICY.

  • Gregory Levi

Their spicy fried chicken ain't no joke at all. They have four levels of spiciness to choose from. I chose two which were Medium & Hot. That Medium fried chicken sandwich had a kick of a little hotness to it. I let one of my coworkers have

  • Alma Lucas

Definitely do not recommend. I ordered their chicken sandwich, their spicy flavor “hot” is pretty okay it’s not really spicy but the chicken it’s self it more breaded than actual chicken. Once you take a bite of the chicken it doesn’t look

We were so excited to try out this local restaurant but things took a turn. We got food poisoning. After eating half way through the second piece, I noticed that the chicken breast were undercooked. Now, we are suffering the consequences.

  • Ali Munasser

I had the Big Boss Chicken sandwich and it was honestly underwhelming, it was more sweet than spicy and it gave me a headache to remember. The quantity of food you get for $8 though is amazing, so it was well worth the money. The chicken

Chicken is bomb!! Try them out, my family and I travel from the South Suburbs to get some of this amazing chicken!! The Big Boss Chicken sandwich is amazing, the Hot chicken is even better!! The food is def spicy so if you have an issue

We choose this spot bc of the good reviews, so we decided to try a variety of their entire menu. Their chicken sandwiches are the best thing on their menu! It felt like we were back at Nashville, 10/10 would recommend. Cheese dogs are

I saw this restaurant come up on Uber eats and I decided to give it a shot! I didn’t know what to expect, so I just ordered some tenders, fries, and Mac & Cheese. Everything was at a great price... the chicken was only about $9 for 4

  • Mustafaa

Food, is just not good. The only thing about my chicken sandwich meal that was appealing were the fries. I took one bite and tossed the sandwich. The batter on the chicken is like that of Chinese food. The chicken itself, oh God,

I pass by the restaurant a couple of times, a passersby recommended it when I was questioning if I should eat here out loud. I went with my brother today and it's so good. I would go here again. The interior was really pretty too

Ordered 4 piece chicken tender..... instead got 4 chicken breast asked for the spicy sauce on the side didn't get any an spent $34.00 ‍♂️‍♂️ wasn't worth $25.. alone... I.M.O Mac was o ver cooked an no taste …

My favorite spicy fried chicken sandwich in Chicago. It seems to have an Asian flair in the flavor of the spice. It’s so damn fantastic. Do you like spicy friend chicken? You need to try this place it’s amazing!

  • Samuel Dancer

Was good but not as good as I expected. Wings could have been cooked a little longer but overall I thought the flavor was decent. Would still eat there.

The big boss sandwich is a must and the fries are great as well. The side such as mac and cheese are okay not the best. Overall chicken items are a 9/10.
