It wasn't a busy place either time I went. Maybe it is on game days. However, I was extremely pleased by the reasonable prices for a burger and ample quantity of food (Tired of getting 10 small fries with my meal elsewhere). Rare to find these days but if they play to that fact they can probably draw a good crowd given the overinflated prices elsewhere, likely preventing people from eating out. The food itself, while nothing extravagent was better quality than many more expensive places I have been (like the slimy burgers Original Joes has had of late), and tasted rather good (by contrast). I however cannot speak to most of the other menu items, but the selection was quite good. The service wasn't the most ...attentive I have had, but the server was friendly and considerate. The speed for food was also pretty good. I would call it average in the ideal, but above average in practise (sadly). The atmospherics aren't something you would probably want for a 'fancy date night' but it was a comfortable sort of place. For a pub/lounge/bar thing, it was pretty well kept and updated. So if your reservation at said fancy restaurant fell through, it's better than A&W (which isn't the worst place). If you want to hang out with your friends and don't want to pay a fortune, this is the place I would suggest. Or if you are by yourself and just hungry, check it out.

Been a patron for 20+ years. Love the owner, Ang. Great food and service, normally. Purchased superbowl tickets in advance. Provide: 1 free high ball or beer and entry into draw. Upon arrival the hostess questioned my reservation. I showed her my tickets and gave her my name. Finally showed me to my table and waited for my server. I ordered a high ball (vodka soda lime) and gave her my drink ticket. Server said what I ordered was a cocktail and not a highball. The lemon made it a cocktail. Thanks for the heads up. After the rest of my party arrived, we continued to have less than exemplary service. The patrons on either side of our table noticed the less than friendly service as well. *Rarely asked if we wanted refills on our drinks or new drink orders. Brought our food and no utensils. After halftime I asked for our bill and visa terminal (15 min later). Finally paid our bill and left the building. We left early because of the service. Disappointed in the server, Serena. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Love this place so much ! I have no complaints about this place at all ,; They have everything you want and need for a good time lol ! Food is soooo good ; Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and the vibe there is amazing!!! Like I'm a happy customer for life and I'll never change that lol :) the other bar/pub around this area is trash and wouldn't recommend it at all (T.O. Pub/Bar) ... That's my review and hope everyone has a great day today =]

Came here to use the bathroom and grab a poutine before i headed back to the south side I step Inside it is complete empty so I ask the bar girl where the bathroom is she ignorantly with no hospitality skills tell me its only for customers ok Kool I was going to be one but not anymore she was so standoff ish and just acted like she didnt want people in there. Great place if you want to feel unwelcome and deal with some miserable human like that.

We went here to play Buzztime trivia, it's one of the few places in the city that have the original consoles for playing. We used to play often, and now we want to get into it again. The service is excellent, the food is pub food, and it's pretty good. We will be going again.

Changing my review I went and the staff was rude to me very snotty attitude. The first few times they were really nice. Last time I went there I was playing the vlt I cashed out the lady couldn't even put my money in my hand and dropped my change I still tipped her but don't understand the attitude. I was polite and I tipped well. Couldn't have been just a bad day cause they treated me the same way the next 2 times I went there. Must be a race thing. Who knows

Different sport on every TV...great! Friendly servers...great! Ordered beer on tap and got 3 fruit flies in it.....not so great. Replacement beer even had fruit flies in it. I was on a date and that was a bit of a mood killer. Please clean the taps properly. I was a bartender at one time too. That's unacceptable and so easy to manage. The ladies behind the bar handled it with class and humour, as did I but that can't continue to go on.

It is what it is. Sports bar, lots of TV's. Waitress was a little grumpy,but we all have those days. The eggs Benny though....I am a career cook,and must say,one of the best poached eggs I've ever had. Also,big fan on the fried mashed potatoes. Would recommend .

Billy Budd's Lounge is one of, if not the best sports bar in Edmonton. Great place to go watch the game. Great on NFL Sundays. Great for Oiler games. They also have off track betting, VLT's (Video Lottery Terminals), Billliards, as well Buck Hunter and Golden Tee. I recommend Jim wings and Pizza! Would love to see a few Craft beers added to the menu though.

gone downhill. Waited for 62 minutes to get our meals...sandwich/burger and fries. Waitress completely ignorant. I miss the old staff. Val, Melissa...awesome, love ya...unfortunately not coming back. Food has been disappointing lately too....sad....was so good before. All good things do come to an end

Lots of space here....the food was pretty good and the service was prompt. They have a few pool tables, horse betting, vlt lounge, and big screens for sporting events. I will definitely be visiting again.

Food is ok, beer is a bit over priced. Atmosphere is what we usually look for and this place seemed like it had potential. We are dive bar fans. We will havevto come in on a Friday or Saturday night to see how things are. As it stands, it's good enough. But I feel like we missed out on seeing the best this place has to offer.

We had steak and eggs yuck Rye bread was dry crumbled, potatoes were good, eggs so-so& the steak was terrible I ask for med rare well let me tell you what I got well done shoe leather I think they pre cook them. They are all paper thin never again. Buyer beware! Our waitress was great little miss ☺️ have a great day.

It's been awhile since I've been there (moved out of the neighborhood) Prices are pretty reasonable and beer cold. What more do you want lol. Excellent service and plenty to do. Pool, darts, betting. The food looks good from the plates coming out, especially the burgers. I'll try one next time.

Billy Buds is a great little bar. The food is always fantastic and the staff are friendly and curteous. I like coming here for the club house sandwich and fries. Thier gravy is also very good. This hidden gem is always a great little getaway with good food. Good drinks and a nice atmosphere.

Great pizzas, even though the medium pizzas seem smaller than most. Breakfasts and sandwiches are both really tasty and reasonably priced. The only frustration is that they have not corrected/rebuilt their website so that people can see their menu to order take out or see their specials.

Lots of fun activities such as darts and billards. The food is cheap but still quite tasty. A really friendly and cozy interior. Highly recommend the 'Guess the song' activity on Friday nights at 9pm. Great way to unwind, 50s all the way to 2000s classic tunes, pub food and drinks.

The Tropical Chicken pizza is one of the best pizzas available in Edmonton! Take your average ham & pineapple, but use thick bacon... Then add a cream sauce, chicken, and a ton of cheese! Wow!

Nice classic sports bar. Serves all the classic beers but would have liked a larger craft beer selection (basically no craft beers). Good place nonetheless.
