"always nice and clean good spacious waiting areas and informative boards for passengers to view my only slight criticism would be that there arent enough gates to pass through"
"Considering they're are constantly going on strike and raising ticket prices, you'd think they would be able to keep the station clean"
"Less ticket barriers unlike, New Street where it's ticket barrier city, simple platform layout and less coffee shops which charge ridiculous prices for a cup of coffee and the station doesn't choke you with noxious fumes"
"Was running late from Kidderminster train station and was was answered by a railworker that i can pay a ticket on train"
"i suffer w bad mental health, and i had a panic attack whilst in the station"
always nice and clean good spacious waiting areas and informative boards for passengers to view my only slight criticism would be that there arent enough gates to pass through. I often find that when i come off a busy train there is confusion at the gates which passengers wanting to enter and leave the station through them.
Considering they're are constantly going on strike and raising ticket prices, you'd think they would be able to keep the station clean. The pathway on platform 2 leading to the exit absolutely stinks of urine, its disgusting. Surely they can afford to get some bleach and hot water. Fix it please!!
Less ticket barriers unlike, New Street where it's ticket barrier city, simple platform layout and less coffee shops which charge ridiculous prices for a cup of coffee and the station doesn't choke you with noxious fumes. Friendly Staff on trains and on platforms.
Was running late from Kidderminster train station and was was answered by a railworker that i can pay a ticket on train. When i took the train and hopped of moor street i asked to pay at the ticketbooth man as there was no ticket checkwr on
i suffer w bad mental health, and i had a panic attack whilst in the station. and the members of staff were so helpful and kind and took care of me until my train. i have no idea on who they are but thanks especially to the man who got me a
Ticket staff on phone I missed my train by seconds the missed 2nd train as it was on a different platform then asked staff at turnstiles what platform he said platform 3 and it was on platform 4 so I missed 3rd train and when I went back to
Arrived here from London for a day trip. I was kind of expecting an ultra modern and large railway station, but this is actually a cute little station that still retains the Victorian era architectural elements. The designs of the interior
My first trip to London after several years in a wheelchair. We travelled out at 10am and back at 10pm. There were taxis in the drop off bay but they smiled (!)and moved when we indicated to pull in.The station was compact and easy to get
I like this station and the nostalgic feel. Always clean and inviting. Use vending machine normally as book on a well known train ticket website. No immediate parking but there are a few large carparks nearby. Toilets are available on the
At the barrier a south Asian female worker who was working today around 1:30pm was so rude my little sis came to buy a ticket as our ticket place was closed and she was asking my little sister for ID why would a person under 15 carry ID
Never had problem with staff st the station until our trip back home on sunday 21 August..coming through the barrier with 3 grandaughter 4..12..14 and bags, we were greeted by a colured lady (staff) That greeted me with wait..tickets..i
Gentlemans toilets are a place to avoid unless you are seriously desperate. Often in a disgusting condition. The overbearing smell of stale urine is unacceptable and obviously the appropriate cleaning procedures are not in place.
"Best railway station in the Midlands" - Beautiful nostalgic design and great central location in the centre of the city. Major destinations include: Stratford - upon -Avon, London Marylebone, Worcester Forgate St. and Solihull.
First time I have visited Birmingham station and it is massive and upstairs is a shopping mall with foods, books and many more to choose from. I was spoiled for choose... Very easy to understand the train times and where to go
My station! I always get off the train here, and go home here. Moor Street is an amazing station. So old and the architecture is brilliant. The small cafe has really kind staff inside. Lovely when its winter its so cosy!
Have to say, the black American worker is amazing. Brings a light hearted bit of banter to an otherwise drab city. Brother - please carry on being yourself. You brought a smile to my face in uncertain times!
Beautiful historic station with vintage signs. Great location for getting to/from Smithfield for the Commonwealth Games as well as the city centre. A great alternative to the overcrowded New St. Station.
One staff member in particular makes it difficult on daily attendance making me walk the long way around even though I have asthma and respiratory issues. Stating I'm not in a wheelchair.
I would give it 5 stars but this morning a fellow human had to yell for someone to open the gates. We barely made our train and made it for work on time. Come on Moor Street...
