They have one of the best s’mores cookies I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is very quaint and homey. Their sweets are amazing here - we had a box of 6 (3 chocolate chip cookies, 1 jam filled cookie, 2 s’mores), an eclair, turkey pot pie, and beef roll! The sweets were chewy, amazing and fresh. Pairs amazing with their drip coffee! The savoury items such as the turkey pot pie and beef roll were also very fresh, warm, and delectable! It was my first try with the pot pie and it was savoury and far from bland! The staff here are very kind and helpful. When asked for suggestions, they asked us what we like and recommended certain items to us. Very knowledgeable people!! Thanks Black Forest Pastry Shop!

Two words: S’mores cookies. *Immediately drooling* Not only does BF Pastry create the most delectable cookies and cakes, it’s also run by the kindest people. A friend of mine ordered from BF for their bachelorette and wedding and BF did not disappoint! Beautiful decorating and even yummier pastry. 10/10 would recommend for a work luncheon, bridal showers, weddings, Grandma’s birthday, or any other occasion in need of sweet treats.

This shop have THE best Black Forest cake in GTA. I say this only after trying all the "recommended" bakery in GTA that sells black forest, and also because im willing to drive all the way to Oakville from Markham at least twice a year just for their cake. if you dont like cakes, their tarts are extremely delicious as well. Give this place a try if u are in the area. it wont disappoint! Edit: forgot to mention their staff is extremely friendly and helpful! love everything this bakery offers!

I was able to try the s’mores cookies and the sugar cookies from Black Forest Pastry Shop over the summer at a bachelorette and I must say, they were some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I wish the s’mores cookies were available year ‘round because they were incredible. The sugar cookies were not only gorgeous but also delicious. I’m looking forward to visiting the shop myself one day to try some of the other options available!

I had the pleasure of trying this pastry shop with my family for my mom‘s birthday. They made a beautiful black forest cake that was delicious. The cake was light, not overly sweet. The whipped cream was fresh, and delicious. My mom said “this is simply the best black forest cake she has ever had in her life“. I would highly recommend we will be returning.

Decided to try this place after the sign on the door said fresh eclairs. Looks like a very good Bakery open concept lots of sweets and treats the chocolate chip cookie was fantastic and I still did not eat the eclair overall worth the visit it was the only place on the Lakeshore that had a lineup so that means something's good.

I love this little bakery! I used to go here with my mom when I was a kid, and wasn’t surprised to see that it’s still around. The patties are always fresh and the girls working there are super sweet and helpful. Covid protocols were followed perfectly. My boyfriend has a strawberry tart and said it was excellent!

Delicious Black Forest cake and coconut cream pie. The cookies are a bit too sweet to me. But I can tell they’re all amazing desserts. For the not that sweet choices, you can go with their gingerbread. They’re so good!! I can’t remember how many cookies I got this season.

My husband ordered my birthday cake from here and it was absolutely delicious. He ordered their famous chocolate fudge cake and their new blueberry lemon cake. I would highly recommend both of these cakes and I would definitely be re-ordering these cakes in the future.

Love everything I've tried here. Been here multiple times and finally posting a review. Got the banana cream pie last week and it was a dinner party favourite. Also love the sausage rolls and chocolate chips cookies. Really can't go wrong with anything.
