I had been attending this practice for 2+ years with my son, whilst Dr Roshan Awmee was working there it was fantastic, receptionist loved my son, I attended 1+ times a week with my little boy due to work place injury, the physio’s that I had were fantastic with helping me achieve walking again. Since Dr Roshan left I moved away and i have had nothing but issues with the receptionist, my favourite receptionist Terry is apparently never there but when she is she gets stuff done for me. The other receptionist were so rude when it came to my sons Paed appointment which was at 2pm, I called at 20 past to ask why I never received a call, was told she was going to call me, 1 hour later still no call, was told that I am next to get phone appointment with her. Another 40 minutes surpassed and still no call, I called back and it was nearly 4 by this point and was met with “Dr Kazzi is attending to patients who ACTUALLY showed up for their appointment, she does phone calls last”. I was never rude to them to deserve this treatment, I had arranged months in advance for appointment to be over the phone as I live 1.5 hour drive away. Finally got ahold of Dr Kazzi and was met with my son is too young to understand how to tell his emotions, he is nearly 5, she prescribed Dexamphetamine for him and receptionist couldn’t even fax through a clear copy of the script I had to wait 2 weeks to start my sons medications for ADHD because my receptionist ensured it went out in the mail because she was disappointed by what happened. I have now moved to different doctors surgery and provided a form to get his files moved over 3 weeks ago and still nothing has happened, my son is Asthmatic and needs a new asthma plan for school his new doctor can’t provide that without his files. I’ve also moved over to a new paed and because they didn’t send the files to her prior to his appointment I’m starting to look like a crazy mother because they fail to do the most basic things. JUST SEND HIS FILES TO THE NEW MEDICAL CENTRE. My son needs his treatment. His Diagnoses for ADHD and ODD was never even sent to me in email which is a requirement for him to get the assistance he needs. Children don’t just need meds they need OT, Speech and Psychologist, you have done nothing to help this process other than give him meds and think that that is good enough. Better yourself, because these children are the ones who suffer.

Attended a walk-in appointment on the weekend for a script as I left home without my medication and this was the closest bulk-billing practice to me at the time. Had a terrible experience with a female doctor (do not recall her name but she was middle-aged and of Indian/South Asian heritage) who was belligerently rude - she asked many insensitive questions about my medical history (there are tactful ways to approach this topic). She strongly implied that I was faking illness in order to request a script (by repeatedly asking why I didn't visit my regular GP for a repeat despite me explaining my situation several times) even though I had shown her the box of medication that had a pharmacy label with my name and my regular GP's name recorded on it, dated just a month prior to the date of visit. I even offered for her to call my regular GP to confirm. She then kept going on about how ''young people'' abuse certain medications and that she does not believe in pharmaceuticals to treat mental health conditions as ''it's an easy way out''. I left in tears and told the receptionist on my way out that I was very dissatisfied with the treatment, particularly with the GP's insinuation that I was abusing pharmaceuticals. The receptionist responded ''yeah many people report that happening'' but did not offer any consolation or helpful comments/actions about addressing this seemingly recurring complaint. Her unprofessional actions and behaviours are concerning, not only because I personally had an awful experience with her, but because I imagine that as a GP, she would be many people's first point of contact in relation to mental health issues which she is obviously unequipped and/or unwilling to deal with in a tactful and constructive way. Her behaviour is harmful as it only adds to the stigma around mental health.

Always been to that medical centre and today was the worst experience ever. I just had a surgery in 3 places and went there for my first dressing today. Dr Don unfortunately had called in sick and so Dr Kazmi was working. We waited for nearly 1 hour after having told the receptionist we came for dressing as I just got discharged from the hospital and Dr Kazmi refused to do the dressing and told us to go to Kildare Rd for it. She complained about having way too many patients although there was only 2 and said that she had to go pick up her kids. It's Sunday and unfortunately most medical centres are not opened till late. We had to go to Kildare Rd and get the dressing done although the places were quite painful and wouldn't allow me to walk or sit properly. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed by her act as a doctor. We have always consulted with Dr Esther Sin and she has always been the most caring and wise doctor ever. She would have definitely done my dressing if she was there. My wounds are extremely deep and thankfully the Kildare Rd medical centre was open and I managed to do my dressing and prevented an infection. Terrible doctor for sure. I highly recommend going with another gp if you go to that medical centre.

The reception younger lady on 09/08/2019, I'm not happy with your service. I arrived at 9am and was told Dr. will be there 11am. I registered at the time. As parking issue, I changed my car parking and returned back around 10:30am and reported reception she told me one patient before me. I saw the Dr. saw many patients not me. Around me are new arrivals. My parking time was to the end again. So I asked again how many patients before me. She told me 3. I cannot understand where that 3 came from. That was 12:07pm. I cancelled the appointment with this site. I won't come back again. This lady, you don't need to explain what you've done to my appointment. Explain that to your manager if everything recorded in your system. YOU wasted my whole morning. Sorry Dr. Mir, you are very nice but your receptionist is not. She should be responsible for the centre's reputation.

I would recommend Dr Esther Sin. She is empathetic and actually wants to hear your concerns, unlike another female doctor (won't mention the name) who told me that I should not be suffering from any pain just because she could not diagnose my problem correctly. Even though I was in tears because I was in so much pain, she passed the most unnecessary judgement - that in her opinion, I had a low pain threshold. She also wanted to perform an unnecessary procedure, despite claiming that she could not see any problem. Upon consultation with a different doctor, who diagnosed my problem correctly, I realised that a lot of pain, humiliation and waste of time could have been avoided if I had just been treated correctly and respectfully in the first place. Really disappointed.

The receptionists here are always beyond rude. On this particular instance (29/12) I asked if my brother and I could have a mask as there were signs saying they had to be worn and the younger lady told me no. So I then went and sat down. She then asked the elderly receptionist to yell out across the practice for my brother and I to wear a mask, so we then went and bought some. Once back I counted (no exaggeration) 10 people both coming in and leaving the practice not wearing a mask. I have no issue with mask wearing. My issue is them targeting and putting us on show when we politely asked for one, and then serving several people after us and not caring. I can see from other reviews we are not the only who have had issues with these ladies.

Ensure to triple the waiting time when you arrive. I was told it was a 30 minute wait and ended up waiting just over an hour and a half. There is a sign in the practice stating that waiting times are only an estimate, but that was a shocking estimate. It wasn't until I saw the doctor that i was also informed that there was just the one doctor working. The wait was most distressing with a tired, crying newborn in the waiting room and trying to time the nappy changes and feeds was near imposible with the inaccurate waiting times. Thankfully Dr Samail consult took under 10 minutes for my minor medical complaint and she even administered my flu vaccination to avoid waiting for the nurse with the distressed baby.

Dr Kazzi is very rude.we have been seeing her for my child for over a year and she has told me on a number of occasions he has ADHD, ODD (even in the appointment today) in this time until today when I asked for a letter stating what my child had to give the his OT, speech team and NDIS to which she turned nasty! Stating I don’t feel comfortable writing that! why are you forcing to me write things I’m not comfortable with! I was completely taken back as she had been telling me my son has ADHD, ODD for over a year and even has been prescribing him Ritilan long lasting and short lasting for this for the past year but still refused to give me a proper diagnosis letter for his therapist. PARENTS BEWARE!!

Whenever I asked the receptionist for any doctor, it was always Dr.xxxx who was available. Other doctors were usually busy and I now know the reason why. After seeing him I felt bad about myself. Questions he asked me made me feel as if I did wrong things. Thanks for trying to look after patients but would be better if you focus on positive sides and be more relaxed. Patients need respect too. Spoke to receptionist on New year day 2021 at 3pm as urgent appointment was needed. Poor customer service. Blunt, no empathy, unfriendly tone of voice. Great location. Good waiting area. This clinic only need happier people to work there.

Ater reading some of the reviews for this practice i am amazed at the expectations of people who attend the medical centre. They often treat the staff as though they dont know what they are doing. It is a doctors surgery and the reception staff don't question patients as to why they wish to see a doctor, one person may take 5 minutes of a doctors time and another may take 30 minutes - how are the receptionists able to tell how long someone needs to wait to see a doctor. it is entirely unfair of people to complain if they need to wait - don't abuse the staff they are only doing their job.

We have been here a few times now, we have seen Dr Ahmad Mir most times and he is very good with dealing with my son who is crazy at times. But he is very gentle with my son, a few jelly beans and my son will be good. Have been trying to see Dr Gilda Bonacruz Kazzi the Paediatrician who is very respected here at the practice. The receptionist was very helpful with us as well, very impressed with the service. I was extremely impressed with Nurses Nassar and Erika, they sorted my sons immunization stuff out when they were very busy with other patients, thanks ladies.

  • Ana Shiels

Utterly disgusted with the lack of professionalism of Dr Yang Wang and Dr Malkut Kazmi and how they both treated my partner who went for a consultant and medical advice. Both Dr’s were dismissive, rude, belittling and borderline verbally abusive towards him and myself who was on speakerphone trying to help. I myself work in a medical practice as a manager and would never allow my staff nor my Dr to talk or treat someone with such little respect. Shame on you Dr’s for allowing yourself to treat a person of the public coming to you for advice like that.

  • Jacky

Receptionists more concerned with eating or being on their phones than actually serving clients. Several people standing in line waiting and none of them acknowledge you. The incompetence of both receptionists to do their actual job, waiting over an hour and half - because they "forgot" to add you to the list. Then to get a doctor that "thinks" this is what you could have. Isn't the whole point of going to a "qualified GP" is to get a diagnosis? Disappointingly poor service all around.

  • Elizabeth Russell

I would 100% recommend Dr Sin. She is such a lovely, knowledgeable Dr who actually listens to what you have to say & is willing to explore options instead of just picking the obvious. The other female Dr there on Saturday’s is quite possibly the rudest and incompetent Dr’s I have seen though. I have seen 2 of the male Dr’s and they both seemed like good GP’s too. The nurses seem friendly from what I have observed also. Overall, am very happy with this practice and would recommend.

  • Jason Mouaniss

Unprofessional experience by Dr Malkut Kazmi and Dr Yang Wang, both were really rude and unhelpful. Dr Yang Wang was showing aggressive behaviour to myself and my partner which was on loudspeaker! I felt belittled, unwelcome, upset and pushed away! If you are looking for a doctor to care for you, family or everyone then those doctors I highly do NOT recommend. Thank you for reading my review and I hope no else got throw the same experience as my partner and myself did.

  • Kate Bible

Disgusting. Receptionist leaves desk unattended for 15 minutes to go buy hungry jacks. When she arrives back and I've been waiting for 15 minutes, she can't put me in queue to see doctor because I've not been there before and the doctor will see 3 other people before me while she sets up file in system because they've been before. Hope you enjoyed your hungry jacks! Don't go here. Can't agree more that your reception lets you down.

  • samantha craig

The doctors I have seen have been lovely and the nurse (sorry I forget her name) she is wonderful!! The pharmacy have such nice staff. The only loss for not having 5 star rating is the fact the receptionists at the medical centre are just plain rude. Is it that hard to say "hey how are you" or something.Takes your card that's it. Such a b**** attitude not great customer service or people skills at all.

  • jamshed azra

Attended this GP because I had food poisoning and needed to see a GP urgently. The reception told me I was first in line but doctor ended up seeing two patients before me. When I raised this up with the receptionist she told me it’s not her problem and I am to bring it up with the doctor. Very unprofessional health centre. Won’t be going there again. No remorse, no empathy.

  • Kusta Brendon

Dr Gilda Bonacruz Kazzi, who made her pediatrician? Very unprofessional and incompetent! I went once, will never revisit her again, waste of time, she can't do anything! She has no idea what she is talking about! She is worst then Gp. The only good thing about her is she do bulk billing, otherwise nothing good. Don't waste your precious time for her, thank me later!

  • Efvlin Yip

We were referred to this practice by a family friend. The doctors are very compassionate and caring. We saw Dr Wong and Dr Sin, both are great doctors and very gentle with my toddler. They accept walk ins and open on public holidays too, which is great if you need to see a doctor urgently. However in saying that, the wait time for this practice can be rather long.

  • Jimmy Le

Dr GILDA KAZZI!!! Attention please! Impatient & shows no sign of care. It took us about 4 months waiting to see her. And she spent about 15 mins to diagnose my son. She was rude and not helpful. My son is struggling with his speech. I asked her for more sessions because he needed it. She refused to give him. If i could give a zero star i would.

  • Miss S

The receptionist lady made me feel discriminated she didn’t tell other patient who was with her mother that time didn’t wear a mask while the mother is wearing one , I feel picked on coz she didn’t care about the patient who larger then me.. is she on that other patient side coz she feel hate toward skinnier patient? …

  • Digna Willis

Dr Andrew Wong is the best doctor in this practice. He is emphatic, professional, very thorough when investigating health issues a patient has. I will recommend Dr Andrew anytime to anyone. He's been my doctor for many years and appreciates the support he's given me in the past and at present time.

  • Ella B

The practice is well presented and clean. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Dr Sin is great. The wait was a bit long, I think that’s to be expected in a bulk bill clinic, I just brought work with me and did it in the waiting room. There was no wait for a blood test and the nurse was nice.

  • Ashley Ray

Just spoke to the receptionist on a Saturday, didnt have sympathy and sounded like she was half asleep. I asked for a pediatrician and she acted like she didnt want to help and couldnt be bothered taking any details down. My first ever time calling this practice and never will again.

  • Rocprincess 1

The worst receptionist here always so rude there professional manner is disgusting, I've been coming to the practice for over 5yrs now and always the same.. today is the icing on the cake the wait for a doctor was ridiculous. Me and my family will be finding a new practise...

  • Genevieve D

Doctor Amir is an asset to your practise. He actually listens, asks the right questions, and does not make assumptions. I have been jumping from GP to GP for the last year since I moved to the area and can finally say I have a doctor I can stick with.

  • Melanie Jackson

Booked an appointment 2 months in advance with Dr Bonacruz Kazzi as she was the closest paediatrician to myself. To say my experience was disappointing and unprofessional would definitely be an understatement. First red flag upon entering,

  • Rosemary Treacey

I have been bringing my elderly mum to this practice for many years and she has always been provided with a high standard of care by the doctors. The receptionist Cheryl goes above and beyond with looking after any rebookings as well as

  • Victor Quintal

This medical centre is one of the most frustrating places. For about three weeks I was calling every second day to book an appointment. No one bloody answers the phone. Finally this morning someone answers. Wth is going with this place.

  • Faleono Ligaliga

Dr Andrew Wong is amazing. Shows how passionate he is with his career. Always up for a chat and always finding ways to help with situation. If he doesn’t have an answer for you he will direct you in other avenues so we can get the right

  • Michael Branagan

Doctor wouldnt listen to me, was texting for the first 5 mins, refused to accept a prior diagnosis from another doctor, told me to "just get an easy job and take some nurofen" what a joke, dont come here.

  • Tom Skidmore

Doctor Kalyani Chandrasoma is one of the rudest and unhelpful doctors I have ever come across. I now remember this Dr was why I haven't been there in 5 years and will be the reason I never go back.

  • Jacquie Mison

Only dr kids will see is Dr Wah Wah San. I see her too and must say she is a good dr. Always helpful and knlws what she is talking about. Reception staff are always friendly when i am there.
