If I’m been brutally honest with myself certain dishes and items on menu could be better. Having eaten in many Jamaican restaurants over my short life I certainly have come customer to what’s good Jamaican food and what’s not. Personally look I always advise people try for themselves and will do so here. Don’t read my review as gospel but ultimately the aren’t too many things on menu that is I am personally of this restaurant fallen in love with. Looking at the positives the owner of the restaurant is very friendly, happy and nice guy. I like the dude, he’s a sound man and someone certainly who can cook. His best dish is Ackee and salt fish, honestly that’s on point and I really enjoy his Ackee and salt fish. Apart from that the isn’t too many other positives about his menu I can say. Oxtail? It’s alright, curry goat? Again it’s alright but the Ackee and Salt fish is good. But overall it’s a nice local restaurant and certainly better than other restaurants in the facility of Loughborough.

Most underrated Jamaican food shop. One of the few jamaican food shops that give value and quality without compromise. What can i say, i was raised as 2nd generation Jamaican. And i know good food. •Food fresh •good portion suize •prices give great value •spiced correctly •very,very well cooked,meat melts in your mouth •vegetables are sublime

Got a takeaway on Friday before heading to Whirled Cinema. Was definitely wary because of the low rating but notices that a majority of them are from years ago. My gosh, this was one of the tastiest curry chickens I've ever had. The chicken was falling off the bone and it was very well seasoned with a nice level of spice to it. Would definitely go again; the woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful/patient. Looks like it's a place loved by the locals the way everyone was interacting with her when they turned up. Would definitely go again if I'm ever in the area again.

NOTHING blessed about this shop avaoid!!!! I've been here around 3 times as I don't live too far and I was standing there waiting to be served for literally 10 mins. A white woman was in the back doing god knows what she clearly saw me standing there but never even bothered to ask me if she can help. Avoid this shop the most u can. If you want Caribbean food take the bus 45,35 or 345 towards brixton and go to "REFILL" the food is much better...and actually EDIBLE and at least you will be served!!!! Once again avoid this shop like the plague .

I collected two Too Good to Go bags from them and they served the most delicious West Indian food, full of flavour, enormous portions and good service. I live miles away but will definitely be back because it was so good, the fish and the chicken, rice and beans and veg, the soup, I can't pick a favourite. Really nicely decorated place too with lots of memorabilia from Jamaica and great music

Right so this was my first time ordering from them. There was an hour wait time which was all fine. But they waited for the hour to end to tell me there’s no mac and cheese left. The second problem was they sent the wrong order? I ordered the combo meal with oxtail and goat but they sent just goat by itself. Lol trading standards should be contacted because this is very misleading. I won’t be ordering again tbh

Ordered from this restaurant for the first time today it took 2 hours and change for my order to arrive, when it came my food was practically cold. Management (the driver) was extremely rude over the phone. Bottom line I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Tots pissed off was so looking forward to some good food tonight. (Although there mutton is ite the oxtail lacked every ounce of seasoning) Fought for a discount so I guess there's a silver lining!

I went to this lovely joint a few days ago and I loved it. As you enter this joint, you are taken back to Jamiaca with Bob Marley played in the background and you are greeted by warm friendly faces. The customer service was excellent. The staff treat you like family. Some big restaurant chains can learn from them. Further, the food was scrumptious and generous. It was well seasoned and you can't stop eating once you start eating. A little gem indeed. Thank you.

Just got a curried goat and rice via Too Good To Go and was incredible. Highly recommend! Also got given a dessert thing which was really nice, kind of like a thick rice pudding without the rice, and was sweet and cinammony. If the owner reads this please let me know what it was!

This place is the business. The shizzle nizzle. The real deal. Got a takeaway from here with an old school friend and we devoured it like a pack of hungry wolves. Perfectly cooked. Service was so good I just wanna be their friends. If you are in coldharbour land come her for authentic food which wi touch your soul.

The recipe was decent but there were untold amounts of chipped bones in the curry goat. I nearly broke my tooth while eating. The staff seemed nice, so it could be that I was served the last of it. But still, don't serve me that, man. I'm a connoisseur.

Waited over 2 hours, food never arrived. Was told four times by some girl that I'd get a call back but never did. The owner picked up the phone at 2am and pretended to be a cleaner with no clue about my order and hung up on me. What a disgrace! My pregnant wife waited 2 hours for nothing. Blessed!

A great place to eat at whatever time, Night or Day. Food is fresh & lots of love went into the preparation. I will be telling all my friends & family about this place. A Hidden Gem with lots of quality. Also the "Hygiene is very good". I would recommend this place to anyone. GREAT.

There's no prejudice in this shop. unlike other places. Curry goat is amazing. Hardly any bone or fat just pure tender meat. Plantain is sweet. Rice n beans is very fresh. Zero complaints. A loyal customer for sure. Big up the blessed shop!
