I visited the dentist during level 4 lockdown, the website says if you get lectured, they buy you dinner. My son got lectured and there is still no word on my dinner? I could care less about the dinner, keep it. Now, what i do care about is the way in which Dr Van Der Walt handled my son, on the day we went to see them as he was in extreme pain, she proceeded to lecture him about how he "Cannot walk around like with his mouth like that" and he must take better care etc. The way in which he was lectured was very abrasive and and unnecessary, the kid was in pain, he knows he messed up. My son suffers from anxiety, we actually had to take him out of school and do homeschooling because of this (not the dentist, the anxiety). Dr Van Der Walt could have been a little more careful in how she handled this. Dr Van Der Walt, you job is to assist, advise and CARE for your patients, not lecture them like they are you workers. Dr Ensil/Pratt in Blaauwberg road are for more gentle, and very helpful throughout this process and all is well now. Unfortunately no thanks to Blouberg Dental.

Wow! I normally hate going to the hygienist but I've had the best dental hygiene experience! Pain free! My hygienist Allison, used this new Swiss machine guided biofilm therapy to clean my teeth and it was amazing! I never liked the ultrasonic, I usually end up having my teeth cleaned manually, and get a lot of anxiety before a clean, but this was a new happy experience! Thank you Allison, I'm going to tell my family and everyone else I know about you. My teeth are so smooth, shiny and clean. Mrs. Potts, from Beauty and the Beast.

Friendly, clean, spacious waiting room, a children's play area, DSTV to keep up with the latest news. A large variety of magazines for all interests. Staff and doctors are on time, every time, friendly, fast and efficient. I felt very comfortable, treated with the utmost care, before I knew it, treatment was done in the time allocated and never felt a thing. A very professional outfit. Having visited Valentines Day, the dentists bought the staff roses, what a nice touch I thought.

I've been going to Dr van der Walt for more than a year now. She is just amazing. She uses the latest dental techniques and I always leave a happy patient/ customer. Her bedside manner is second to none and is also such a lovely person. I'd definitely recommend her. The practice itself is modern and welcoming, receptionists are also very friendly. Overall a great experience. Oh and the Oral Hygienist, Luanne, is also amazing.

I've been going to Dr van der Walt for many years and always received excellent dental care. Not only is she caring, kind, friendly and knowledgeable, she is the best dentist that I've been to, and I've been to many local and international dentists. She really genuinely cares about her patients. Today she fitted 2 crowns for me and I'm over the moon, I could not be happier.

I have only ever had great experiences at Blouberg Dental. Dr van der Walt has been looking after my dental health ever since she graduated and I have never felt gentler hands and more competence in any dentist ever than I had with her. The oral hygenist Luanne was wonderful. VERY GENTLE, and thourough. Will def be back to see her. She made me feel very calm, explained what's she was doing each time, showing me the tools and how each worked before use. She helped make a very anxious patient, a lot calmer

Dr Venter is one of those rare species - a gentle man, a true gentleman and a superb (10/10) dentist. Facility offers on site high tech dental work at very competitive costs and service via their outside dental technicians is very speedy. Committed life time patient..

Been to the dentist 4 times over the past 5 years outstanding service and the dentist's were really very good gentle. Dr van Der Walt was the last dentist who treated me really great experience no pain after a huge extraction

Appalling service. Had to pay for X-rays and moulds plus the visit, suppose to send a quote for follow up work, had to phone twice only to then be referred elsewhere.

Dr van der Walt is by far the best dentist I have ever had. They practice is excellently run and it's just a great experience to go there.
