While my husband did enjoy the experience at the Boardroom, my feedback is mainly towards the first faces that welcome you at the Boardroom. Brianna was very unpleasant to deal with when purchasing a new membership for a Christmas gift. Unlike, Jackie who helped me a couple days before and was incredibly welcoming, patient, knowledgeable and overall, phenomenal with her representation of the Boardroom, Brianna made me question why I was there or would gift someone a membership if they’d have to deal with her in the future. Not only did Brianna not bother to explain the details of the membership or ask if I had any questions, but if I hadn’t reminded Brianna of the gift bag I was to receive with my purchase, she would of just let me go right after taking my payment. Brianna’s incredibly unpleasant attitude reflects poorly of the Boardroom. Unfortunately, Brianna had no idea that I had already had the pleasure of interacting with Jackie, a phenomenal individual who did a wonderful job making the Boardroom sound like the perfect gift to give for Christmas. Upon my arrival, Brianna, had a sour attitude in greeting me and barely made any eye contacting when addressing my questions. Today, I called the Boardroom inquiring about the expiration of the membership and I had the pleasure of speaking with Brianna; unfortunately, Brianna’s tone was as unwelcoming over the phone as was her presence at the Boardroom. I understand we all have bad days and having worked retail things get stressful during holiday season, but at the end of the day your job as a face of a brand is to represent it with a positive and friendly attitude and make customers want to return to your location. My husband had the pleasure of being greeted by Jackie for his appointment and had wonderful things to say about his experience and haircut with stylist Chelsea. Thank you Jackie and Chelsea for being wonderful and having pleasant attitudes to total strangers! Update 1/27/2021: Emailed manager Becky Pelletier on 1/15/2021 and have yet to hear a response. Disappointing. Also, Chelsea no longer works at this location,which was also disappointing; and the new young lady who was suggested to cut my husbands hair did a terrible job.

First let me say that on any day other than today I would give this place 5 stars. I’ve been coming here for years. I get a benchmark every time. Normally it’s well worth the $85+ with a beard trim and extras. Which is why I wanted to set up another appointment. I recently had a kidney transplant, though I’m vaccinated, I require being in close contact with only others who are also. So I spoke to the nice lady who answered the phone, I believe she said Stacy or Stephanie, and arranged for a Wednesday appointment but upon explaining my health situation she put me on hold to ask the stylists if any where vaccinated. At which time Courtney got on the phone. She said she can’t give out that information, I explained I don’t need to know who or what, just that they had A stylist who is vaccinated. I normally see Philipa or Lia but explained that I would see anyone. She said she couldn’t help me. She was short, not rude per say, and unwilling to compromise in any way, then casually accepted that I would go elsewhere. I’m so glad that I spent years coming here, bringing in my son, and other friends. I’ve been word of mouth advertising for the better part of 3-4 years for a business until today completely deserved such praise. I’m truly saddened that I can no longer come here, nor will my son, and at least 2 of my friends. Simply because you couldn’t answer a question vaguely without violating any sort of confidentiality. Normal I might add the past the stylists shares that info. I even asked who I saw last time because I told Courtney she told me herself she was vaccinated… I just didn’t remember her name. I understand that this is a business and I understand privacy. However I don’t know why knowing my health conditions you can’t tell me if you have any vaccinated stylists even without identifying any specifics about any one directly. The Covid situation in north Texas is pretty bad, too healthy people, then you add in immunocompromised people into the mix, it makes me sad you don’t care about our business. I’m really glad that business is so good that you can disregard your clients health needs even if that’s at my expense! Signed, A former client that loves your business!

I've been to so many other barbershops over the years, and I switched to The Boardroom a few years ago and have been there ever since! They set themselves apart from all the others, I love how clean it is and modern yet with a very vintage vibe inside. You can't help but feel like more of a gentleman when you get a professional and old style haircut experience from here. I always get very good compliments as well, so they set a great quality standard! I love how my haircut from the boardroom fits with so many of my different styles, whether it's suits, or polo shirts, t shirts or pajamas. They leave the mark you want to create! Hannah has been my go to barber here, and I am very happy with her professional and quality work! She is always honest as to what will look good on me and what will not, and listens to what I want to achieve with my haircut! She is very thorough and has a great personality! Thank you, Hannah!! I get the express cut, with a neck razor shave and have my hair wash. Not only do you leave with a nice haircut, but feel very refreshed! I recommend that cut if you're a little short on time, and the entire staff too is always very friendly and asks if they can do anything for you! Thank you so much, The Boardroom, for making me feel at home and the experience so enjoyable!

UPDATE: The Boardroom customer service has surprised and impressed me. After my prior review, I WAS contacted by a manager and provided an opportunity to reevaluate their services. My second trip to the Boardroom started off the same as my first visit, a free drink or two. My haircut was done to a similar quality as before but with a better understanding what I was looking for. Ultimately, ending up with a good haircut. HOWEVER, I decided to try out their Benchmark services which is really where the value of the Boardroom comes into play. The addition of the face massage, hand/arm massage, hand treatment, and steam towel makes all the difference. My perceived value of these additional services brings the value of the entire experience more in line with my expectations based on the price. Overall, I'm very happy with the Boardroom and would recommend them if you need a haircut, shave, or some male pampering. Initial post: Overall happy but not worth the money in my opinion. Free beer or soda upon entry. The cosmetologist did a decent job with my hair but not any better than I would normally receive from a lesser expensive location. Did not try any of the additional services, only haircut.

I’ve been going to get my haircut here for about a year, and always book with Philippa. There are not enough words to explain how fantastic she is! I initially started with a “Transformational” benchmark, and Philippa helped me come up with an amazing style I love that works for my face and hair type, and showed me exactly how to do it everyday. Since then I come back for the benchmark cut every time and walk out feeling great, clean, relaxed and squared away! I use there app now, and it couldn’t be easier to book, see past appointments, and look through all there services. My background is military, fire department and medical field, and I will say, I flinched at the price, at first... But, it is 100% worth it. You have to experience it for yourself to truly understand. Women spend $100’s and it’s considered crazy for a man to spend more then $20! This is great quality and as the old saying goes, “you get what you pay for”

I renewed my membership and wanted to update my last post. Lea is my current barber and she is just great. I switched over to her after Janeen left the organization and she has lived up to all my expectations. I continue to enjoy going into the Boardroom in Alliance. The staff is wonderful and I can count on a great haircut every time. Like I said in my previous post, if you spend the money for the membership, it really makes it worth it! Went to the Boardroom for the first time yesterday because I was tired of bad haircuts from the other competitors. While it is pricey compared to other companies, I thought the experience was well worth it. Janeen was my barber and she did a great job and was excellent. I elected to purchase the one year membership which will allow me to get my haircut as often as I would like. Purchasing the membership drops the price of the haircuts to a very competitive rate and is the way to go.

Honestly was underwhelmed with the customer service. From the description I was expecting more. The stylist asked what I usually get which I then explained I wanted to change things up. She then just proceeded to tell me I should basically just go with what I usually get. Okay… from the description of “will craft a new look and show you how to sport it” that seems a long way off from the service I received. The cut took a total of 17 minutes of which the stylist seemed at the least either hating her job or having a bad day which okay is understandable but create some type of small talk? The dead silence was awkward. To simply ask for gratuity just seems trashy. Even still I tipped a modest 20%, at the avoidance of being embarrassed. In reality the service warranted nothing. So I’m out 70$ feeling used like a cog in an assembly line. Thanks for the beer, cheers!

I’ve been a member of quite a few different men’s salons over the years but have finally found one that has a hairstylist that is always great. The Boardroom Alliance has amazing facilities and an incredible staff. However my hairstylist Kaitlyn is why I keep renewing their top membership level each year. I go every two weeks for a haircut and straight razor shave. I look forward to each visit because of Kaitlyn with her friendly and sweet demeanor and how amazing she is as a barber and hairstylist. She was a little quiet/shy at first but after a couple visits she realized she could be chatty around me. It’s always great to sit and talk with her about our kids, dogs, and the various charities for disabled children we volunteer with. If you’re looking for a place with a great staff and friendly conversations, The Boardroom Alliance is for you.

Alaina is an awesome stylist, to the point where I feel the need to write her a review. I'm always nervous about getting my haircut because styling long hair for men is a challenge in itself, one that most stylists don't deal with and aren't accustomed to. On top of that I had never cut off this much hair before nor had I ever been to this location. However, upon arrival at 6pm on a Thursday I was pleasantly surprised to find myself with only one other person in the waiting room. I took this time to drink the complimentary Dos Equis I was greeted with . Once the ball got rolling Alaina was great about asking questions and taking her time. Example: I had only alotted an hour for my appointment which ended up taking about an hour and a half of her time. She was very polite and chill, I enjoyed the experience! Will be coming back!

I came to the Boardroom looking for a long-term home to manage my beard and hair. I met with Jordin and after a few visits, decided to take the next step and enroll a monthly program. I wouldn’t have done this without Jordin’s care and professional attention to my specific beard. She’s given the time and attention to all my concerns, helped me realize the goals I had for my beard. At this point I now lean on her for her best judgement to shape my face and head. We’re currently working towards a mini-pompadour and all is progressing well. Go to the boardroom, ask for Jordin, and prepare to be amazed. I’d also like to add that the front desk is always kind, helpful, and courteous. I have been going to Boardroom for about a year now. Their service is always first class and all of the ladies, from the reception area to the hair stylists, are very polite and accommodating. I got a CEO membership which is a yearly membership that includes unlimited haircuts, neck & arm messages, coloring, and a number of pedicure and manicure services. I can have unlimited "refreshments" during my visits, and watch some sports in the reception area and the pedicure room. Patty was my first stylist and she did a wonderful job. After she left, I started working with Lia Kujawa. She is a first class professional who wants to make it the perfect experience for me (and she always succeeds!) and we have very good conversation during my visits. I highly recommend Boardroom. They are the best!

For over a year my son has enjoyed the awesome experience of going to The Boardroom Alliance. From the minute we arrive, we are greeted warmly and offered refreshments in such a welcoming manner that makes us feel special. Phillipa, the beautiful and amazing stylist, is always punctual and so personable. In addition to providing the most awesome haircut, she “goes the extra mile” to make necessary space accommodations for my son so that he feels comfortable and it’s not awkward to maneuver the space. All of the staff we’ve met throughout the year are so pleasant and helpful. We look forward to the weekly appointment; a social occasion! Arthur gets a great haircut, I enjoy a nice relaxing break with a cool beverage, and we both enjoy visiting with the SUPER staff. Thank you all. ♥️♥️

I don't waste my time giving reviews, but I have to take the time to give praise to Whitney and the whole team at Boardroom Alliance. What an experience!! The staff is very friendly and professional. From the time Andrew checks you in to when he checks you out is a OUTSTANDING time. Kim pays extra attention to what you looking for with your haircut. I never feel like she is rushing to just get the haircut done. The benchmark is like having a nice spa treatment. I have been coming to this location for about 10 months and I have built some great friendships along with great service. oh yea don't forget about the complementary beverage . It hits the spot after a long day at work. I would recommend Boardman Alliance to anyone looking for a great haircut and a better experience!!

I followed this business from another state and have been coming to the Alliance location for about 3.5 years. All of my barbers have been great, but this has to be one of the most toxic work environments I have ever seen. I have watched the manager, Whitney, yell at employees, be openly disrespectful to employees, allow other employees to yell profanities across the room, and retaliate against them by cutting their hours. I have had 3 barbers go through the exact same thing over the course of my time there and I can no longer support paying this business to treat people like that. Apparently Whitney is close to someone in HR as well who allows this behavior to continue. Until some serious leadership changes occur at this location, I will not be returning.

Hit or miss. The first time we used them my husband had a great experience, they were professional and great at what they did. Today he went in for a haircut and a shave and his experience with Jackie was less than impressive. He came out looking like he just left a boxing match due to her shaving “skills”. They didn’t offer him anything to drink, which is supposed to be part of the over $100 experience for a cut and a shave (he doesn’t even have that much hair), and at the end even after calling in to verify the email address because we hadn’t received the receipt, they still haven’t sent it. The only reason they get 3 stars was because of the great treatment the first time. Be sure to get a good person if you are going for the experience.

First time visit, gifted a trip for fathers day. Staff were extremely friendly and the service was great. I got a good haircut, a hot towel on the face with wax on my hands. First time trying it, and while probably wouldn't do that part every time, could see doing it again. The best thing about the whole trip by far was the beard trim. My stylist was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I learned some tricks to achieving the look that I wanted from her. Definitely will be going back for more beard trims in the future. Kids came along with me and played checkers in the waiting room. Cool place, one of the better men oriented salons that I have been to.

Been a member for three years now. I am a regular for Jordan. She is amazing! Not only does she expertly cut and style but she has the most professional and friendly personality. We also relate to military life so we have tons to talk about. Since day one I trusted her completely. Her benchmarks are on point too! I enjoy chatting up Sarah, Whitney and all the other staff. Everyone is so friendly and awesome. They all have good knowledge about the products they sell and the best way to use them for the look you’re going for. The environment is peaceful and the services great. I recommend anyone to try it out and become a member for its amazing value.

Ok Listen this Juan'ce. If you are looking for an experience beyond the haircut. Then look no further. Jordin has more than just a hair cut to offer, personality, communication, care for her clients. I have the benchmark and she hands down takes the best care of everyone. It is no wonder she is so difficult to get an appointment with. So I have booked well into 2023 because I won't go anywhere else, unless for some reason she leaves. EPIC experience, Epic compassionate care, Epic personality, EPIC time overall. They offer so many services and it to mention complimentary drinks and beer for those beer drinkers. Go see my girl Lia and her co workers for a great cut or even a shave. You won’t be disappointed! My stylist is the best, her name is Lia. She’s been my stylist for 4 years now even when she worked for another company. The front desk staff is always friendly and will always ask if you want a beer or soft drink, which all drinks are complimentary.

Overall nice experience but the basic haircut is overpriced. For 45 dollars plus tip I was only given a basic haircut and was not shampooed before or after the cut. The neck shave was initially a nice touch but the next day I already had ingrown hairs. Likely due to the stylist going against the grain on my neck for the shave. Still my stylist was nice and gave a very nice haircut, but not a 45 dollar one. tldr - A nice place but overpriced for their haircuts alone and make sure to tell your stylist to go with you hair to prevent ingrown hairs.

Not busy Tuesday @ 3 pm but must have appointment. cannot sit wait for beard trim. It’s not surgery trimming a short beard. I’ll cut beard myself and save $50. This Starbucks mentality attitude with people has to go. It’s not good for business I Was not given an option to wait although I requested to wait patiently. I will go anywhere but this place again. The best dentist in town will let you wait in case of a cancellation. A long list of other shops at the bottom of this page that will respectfully take your money and accommodate you.

This was my second time having services at the Boardroom Alliance. The second time was remarkably better than the first and made a very positive impression on me. As always the receiving Ladies were courteous and offered me something to drink. When I went for my head shave and beard trim, I was impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. I will admit that I'm a difficult customer and will find flaws but in this case the barber/stylist understood what I wanted done. Great job and worth the visit.

Ahhh-Mazing first time experience. 100% worth it. Guy's, do the full treatment do not skip the scalp and hand massage. Pamper yourselves. Loved every minute of it. Cat was awesome. Very attentive and asked before she did anything if I wanted to or not. She said a lot of guys just don't....why? Looking forward to going back and scheduling with Cat. Ladies this is not a Guys hair place with scantily dressed stylist. Very nice almost cigar bar quality. Picture a country club locker room almost. Treat your fella.

I have had my hair cut by multiple woman (all sweethearts) at the Boardroom here in the Alliance Town Center. I have to say every time I'm very pleased with the results. It's tough for me to explain what exactly I want so I reference a picture or two and they hit it right on the head. Treat yourself with a beer and enjoy 30 minutes at this relaxing/comforting salon. I would recommend this specific location especially if you work in a field of constant social interaction. Look good, feel good, perform well!

I have been a member at the Boardroom for years now and will continue to be one. The service provided is top notch and staff is awesome! All the ladies do an excellent job no matter what your style may be. Lia has been my go-to for years now and she rocks. Great personality and skill with the scissors and clippers! The benchmark is the signature package and it’s a great way to relax after the work week... I look forward to it every time and usually doze off during the massage. Ask for Lia when you go!

This place is AMAZING! First off, I can get a free beer, haircut, beard trim, wax, hot towel, massage, AND have an incredible time hanging out with the barbers. I have used Kim and Nyssa and they are both awesome! They cut your hair perfectly or work with you until you love it. The manager Whitney is SUPER nice. She only cares about the well being of the clients and stylists! They keep it real. It’s not a boring place to be. I’m a member here and bought 15 months worth. This place is awesome!

This location has a wonderful stylist/barber there by the name of Nyssa. I have been having her cut my hair and trim my beard for the last 6 months or so, and I am constantly complimented about my trim and look, thank you Nyssa! I travel from clear across the metroplex to come see her and have her work her magic. This Boardroom location is nice, quiet, professional and always fun to visit. If you're looking for a wonderful atmosphere, and clean look fellas, go visit Nyssa and this location!

This place is amazing. I have been going to the Boardroom for about 4 to 5 years. The staff at this location have always been exceptional. Very personal and friendly service. I have had a few stylists over those years, but Hanna is by far the BEST. I will always get the Benchmark service from her. She provides me with the exact haircut Im asking for, the best scalp, face, and arm and hand massage. I always look forward to my visits (every 3 weeks) and her treatment. ThANK YOU Hanna!

Glad someone gets it! We are all busy or maybe looking for a little me time. This is my 3rd year with BSM and could not be happier with the convenience of scheduling my cut and the service provided by the salon staff or Lia my long time "go to" stylist. Communication throughout the covid19 shutdown and the successful restart of business has been top notch. Experienced some new to me services and couldn't been happier with the experience. 11.23.22 - This is my 3rd and final experience with The Boardroom. The first two were at the 7th Street location in Ft. Worth. This time I tried Alliance Town Center. Hannah B was my stylist and it was one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. So had I had to have my brother-in-law try to fix it. but at least they are ridiculously expensive for the same barber college trained stylists that work at Great Clips, Sport Clips and your local shop. Go to those first.

Not only will they take care of you and cut your hair properly, they also generate an experience that is fun, lighthearted, and relaxing. Nothing better than that when getting a haircut! I have received a haircut at this location quite a few times and each time has been great, but this time Phillipa made it even better. Signed up for a membership this year - Not only a great haircut, but the extras you just don't get at other places with the benchmark that make it a great way to unwind after a stressful day or week. If you're new, I highly recommend Jordin - she does a tremendous job & is so much more fun & personable than anyone that's done my hair in a long time. My only minor criticism is that I wish they would add Blue Moon to their beer selection.

I have a membership that allows me to get the Benchmark service every time I go in and every time it is a great experience. Janeen is always helpful when I am thinking of changing my hairstyle and she gives me advice on how to properly maintain my hair. Nyssa is fantastic! I just moved to the DFW area , but have been using the boardroom since I was a kid(At other locations). While I'm always a little weary about trying out a new hair stylist, Nyssa did a fantastic job! While she's skilled in cutting hair, she also has the talent of upholding a good conversation the entire time. It's all about making the client feel comfortable and that's exactly what she does.

Love this place. Hanna does absolutely perfect haircuts and is more a friend than just a barber/hairdresser. Staff is personal and likes engaging in conversation with you and makes the experience unlike any other. Any other place with just get you in and out, but here, your time and enjoyment are number 1 priority. You even get free drinks while you wait/get hair done. Love it 12/10.

Phillippa is awesome. She took her time to understand how I wanted my haircut and did a great job! Not to mention she wasn’t even my regular stylist and I was still thrilled with my haircut. My regular stylist Lia is amazing! She takes her time, gets to know you and gives a great fade. If I wasn’t moving I’d be a permanent client of Lia’s. Great experience with both stylists!!

All of the stylists I've had here are very friendly and do a great job but Kayla absolutely nails my haircut every time. I usually get the benchmark which includes about 10 minutes of pampering (shampoo/face, neck, arm, hand massage, hot towel, etc) and every time I leave I feel like a million bucks. Really nice vibes all around, definitely worth the splurge.

HANNAH IS THE BOMB!!! The fade queen as I like to say. Such a great experience everytime I go in. ALL the ladies are super sweet and really care about your experience. It's more than a barber shop.
