I love this park!! Only thing is, the handball courts and tennis courts get filled up real fast, as there is not a lot of space in this park.. Also the weekends are not a good time to go if you want peace and quite while playing tennis or handball.. (and when I say peace and quite while you play I mean, to be able to talk to the people who are playing right next to you, instead of having to scream and shout because of all the screaming and shouting going on in the park area.. again I can't stress this enough, this park is very small) And the parents get there with their kids at like the crack of dawn, especially on the weekends.. It's a clean and small park, but the weekdays while kids are in school is the best time to go for quietness.. also some people like to walk the track around the park, again as the park is not that big its a nice little walk around the place.. some people even take their dogs in the mornings to walk around with them..

Was very disappointed! The park is an Awesome Park all the new toys... But, there are cockroaches EVERYWHERE! Was about 9pm, cooler weather. Stepped out of my truck started walking. We went once around new walking path. it was disgusting! I was trying to keep my dog from eating them! My daughter and I were wearing flip-flops and they're running everywhere couldn't get away from them! Few different types. It was nasty we left! Asked someone in city dept. Was told they will not spray or do anything to take care of issue. That's so sad! We leave down the street. Beautiful Neighborhood park taken over by cockroaches.

Great park for tennis & handball players with a running trail. A few exercise park machine along the way.. There's also a playground for the kids along with a set of swings.. There's multiple dog waste cans so make sure you pick up after your fur baby. I always do.. There's also a kiddie water Park for the kids to get wet during the hot summer

Baskins is a quaint little Park. The children seem to enjoy the water pad it's a decent size, the water is ice cold for those hot days. The water is drinkable from the water pad so you don't have to worry about your little ones drinking contaminated water. It turns on at 10am off around 7:30. The park has about a dozen grills. It has tennis racket ball jogging trail with exercise benches and bars. Lots of shade. Most of my time that I spent there has been pleasurable quiet and comfortable however once in awhile like any park there can be trouble.

This park is a hidden gem tucked away in a historic neighborhood. The park is not very big, but it provides basically everything you need in a park: some greenery, a walking path, gym equipment, 2 playgrounds, bathrooms, tennis courts, handball courts and, of course, WATER (seasonal). The only things that bring this park down are the fact that it's size limits its capacity during busier holidays and the occasional groups/individuals who trash the place like they're on a mission to ruin it.

Newly remodeled with fitness track that allows you to work out during various stops along the path. Great park to take your dogs and/or the kids. Full play area with swings and slide, tennis courts (Sorry, No Basketball). Much grass area for a small football game. Very clean and well maintained with picnic area. Barbeque pits and tables, very nice for the entire family and your furry pals. Oh and by the way, there's also a water play area but water get tuned on as early as the month of May

Such a cute little park! I needed to wait for a friend at one of the nearby medical facilities and needed to kill about an hour with 2 dogs, so I searched for a park and found this one... looked clean, several people brought dogs, we even saw hummingbirds!
Playground
Playground also had one of those water pads!
Dog-friendliness
Saw lots of people playing with their dogs!
Picnic area
Picnic tables and BBQ grills

I love jogging there because the trails are corked, less impact on ones joints. There are exercise stations for different workouts. The playground has padded cork for child safety. The park is well maintained, very clean. The landscaping is beautiful. It's nice to see families having fun just being together. There are restrooms that are clean. And just enough benches and shade for picnicking. It's a modern Park.

This is a fairly small. As parks are usually bigger but this one has a little water park for the kids and it's kind of neat it's clean it does have benches and barbecues but that little water park the kids love water parks so it's it's just a small water park for them to play in I don't know if it costs a few bucks to do it I don't know anything about it other than that it's there so it is a nice clean Park

  • Myriam Monterrosas

Love it, but after about 8:30 pm the teens start coming out and getting crazy so I advise you to be here a bit early to let your little one enjoy. Also please keep an eye on your kids because I saw ta group of kids around 10 to 16 alone taking care of each other and kind of being mean and bullying eachother (it was a group), they didn't really mess with other kids but just a warning...

I truly appreciate going to this park. It might look little from the roadside however really is a quite nice size. There is a pathway to run or stroll around that circles the recreation center, an extremely decent play region for the kids to be in, a couple of tables to sit at and unwind by, somewhere close to 4 and 6 tennis courts, and they even have racquetball courts too.

  • Dustin Johnston

Absolutely love this park! I work close by and my breaks are an hour, so it’s nice that I can drive and go enjoy my lunch outside. Also it has a running track around it, I usually do one lap before leaving which is nice because I have a sit down job. Highly Recommend it to all, it’s nothing that’s going to blow your socks off but it’s very quaint and convenient.

  • Elizabeth Iniga

I really do enjoy going to this park. It may look small from the side of the road but actually is a pretty decent size. There is a pathway to run or walk around that circles the park, a very nice play area for the children to be in, a few tables to sit at and relax by, somewhere between 4 and 6 tennis courts, and they even have racquetball courts as well.

  • Stephen Baxter

Great park for tennis, a lot of good players come here, it’s well known in the tennis community, and has handball area, some of the best handball players in town play here, not to mention a par course and water park for the young’uns. It also has a nice track, a good clean park, with lots of healthy stuff to do, something for just about everyone

  • George Simko

It a nice clean park that had a makeover last year so everything is still new and well maintained. Handball courts, a track for jogging, and picnic areas with grills for the adults. Also playground equipment and water features for the kids. It also has a large grass area for playing fetch with your puppers. I love this little park.

  • Arjan Vinson

The decent splash pad needs some repairs.. Plenty of shade.
Playground
It's not huge, but it's exactly what my little one needs to get some energy out. Close to hotels as far as clean and safe parks.
Restrooms
It has them.
Dog-friendliness
Keep them off the splash pad, please.
Picnic area
Host a party?

  • Mar Hill

Where the park is very small. Not a lot of area for parking. Other than that it was clean. It had a very sense of security. There was a police live video cam in the front and the water park pad was operating good and clean. Bathrooms were also clean
Playground
They have a water wet park for playing

  • Brittany Nicole

I luuuuv this park. So many fun activities for the kiddos to do. Play soccer, tennis, play in the water, play on the basic playground equipment walk the trail and exercise. Everyone that comes to this park are so nice and friendly and it's right next door to home. We come here everyday right after school.

  • Amber Meyers

We like this park. It is a great place to go walking. The only thing missing is a dog park. The park is clean, and the people there actually talk to each other. It is a nice place for families- BBQ areas, soft playgrounds, and splash pad. There is a water fountain for pets, tennis and raquet ball courts.

  • Rick Sheeley

From my granddaughter Leia: very popular with other kids lots of kids to play with. Lots of fun spinning rides and swings. The play area has soft mats so you can fall off and not get hurt. There is also a lot of grass so you can walk your dogs or play Frisbee. They have bathrooms and a water fountain.

  • Arturo Cecena

The park was well maintenanced Panda clean. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a lot of shade as well as water activity space especially with the summer is being so hot. I definitely look forward to going back and recommending this part two other people for a place of gathering.

  • Deborah Vegas

Nice small park. It was updated maybe 2yrs ago. Nice play equipment for smaller kids. Tennis courts and a few picnic tables scattered around. Restrooms available. There is a walking trail. The park is in a residential area. All available amenities are done on a small scale.

  • Amanda Sweeney

Great playground with equipment for all ages. There is also a water play area, but it's only open May through September. There's a nice walking trail with shade and restrooms. There are also tennis courts. It's a great stop of you're looking for a break from the Strip.

  • Veronica Krilowicz

Beautiful park! They have Roses and different plants you dont normally see at parks, wonderful play grounds for kids as well as adult kids lol. It's a wonderful place to go eat lunch, relax, exercise, play tennis, or just have fun. Lots of wonderful shady spots also.

  • Mary Catherine Martinez

Great splash pad in the Vegas heat. The playground has things for all ages. Take a bowl or cup to bring the splash pad to another level of fun for smaller kids to fill/empty. There is also a lot of shade at this park to sit and watch the kids play nearby.

  • Desiree Joseph

The park has really gotten filthy. The grass, what's left of it looked like dried up hay. Bird droppings scattered all over the walking paths, along with trash left behind by people. For the area I feel that the park should be better kept up,than it is.

  • Cassie Albarran

We stopped there to have a picnic, in a nice shady area on the grass. Very busy on a hot, Monday (Labor Day) afternoon!! Well maintained, plenty of room, lots of trees and shade, area for kids to play and water fountains to run around in. Thank you

  • mark zehender

This park has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, there was a lot of trash strewn about the play area. Meth head was camped out in the parking lot and I have a feeling the children's water play area doubles as midnight bath for the local tweakers.

  • Aimee Goodwin

This is one of the most active residential parks I've ever visited. I used to live in the nearby apartment complex, and it was awesome to see people using the soccer field and tennis courts every single day. I think the splash pad is closed

  • Russ Bourland

  • Steve Oliver

Best park in the area. Padded walking path. Clean. Lots of doggie bags available. It's smaller than most parks because there's no baseball fields, but for dog walkers this is a great park. Plenty of parking. Nicely landscaped.

  • Katrina O

The park is a great size and plenty of open space. They have the water pad for the kids, barbeque grills, tennis courts, and a track to walk or run on. Very nice park
Restrooms
Restrooms are beyond disgusting!!!!!

  • Joe M.

Nice park, especially for younger kids. Have an interactive water pad and a regular, shaded playground area. Tennis courts and walking path too. Easily spent about 90 minutes here with my 2 year old and she loved it.

  • Ariana Castillo

This park is pretty, spacious, and has a great walking path. There are also some workout stations alongside the paths. There is a great area for dog walkers and many tennis courts. Will definitely be returning.

  • Ben

  • Dion Lewis

Very nice park with the remodel. Very spacious and well lit for when the sun goes down early in the fall. Nice with no trash or graffiti. The racket ball and tennis courts seem nice and new too.

  • Tony Stewart

We took our 4 year old twin boys here recently and we all really enjoyed it. They have some stuff for the kids here that makes it somewhat unique in comparison to most of the other local parks.

  • Del Cabon

Nice, fairly quiet park with a small walking circle that is 3/10 of a mile each lap. Also tennis and hand ball. It's kept clean and seems well policed. Great place for an early morning walk.

  • Martha “Lunnallenna” Soltero

I went to this park late in the afternoon around 7:30, and I saw one or another family, and also about 8 or 10 homeless people, and that made me feel a little unsafe, but the place is nice.

  • Bill Hutson

Bob Baskin Park was a Very Nice park. It was well maintained and clean and quiet. It was kid friendly and dog friendly also and had a rubber walking track that was easy on the feet. Thanks

If you get there early, it's great! If it's nice out, then it gets crowded quickly. If you plan to eat on park bench, bring something to clean off the bird poop!
