My star rating reflects the issue I had with needing my order delivered and there being issues with communication from employees and being knowledgeable about store policies. When speaking to the manager she was patient and listened to my concerns and I believe she did her best to address the problem. She made every attempt to “make things right” and I am happy with the outcome . To other customers experiencing a problem, I suggest advocating for yourself and asking for what you really want. I spent a lot of my time dealing with the issue and time is valuable. I asked for 2 bags of treats my dog likes, to make up for the inconvenience and the store sent 3 bags. I have shopped at Bosleys stores for many years and when I moved to the West End was glad to see a local store on Denman street. They have good management and friendly staff. Unfortunately, a new staff member, whose name begins with H is a bit of a nasty person. She seems to push other staff around. I was talking to another female employee, whose name I don't know and this H person pushed in and took over and was quite rude to everyone involved. Since then, when I go to the store, I try to stay away from her. Just remember H, it's a pet store, not a political campaign

Bosley's just increased price of house brand canned dog food. I expected the similar 6% that inflation as posted by Canadian govt. DEFINITELY not their 25% increase in price. I expected them to raise prices by a 25 cents per can not this gouging amount of $1 per can. Yes folks, this is called gouging. This is going to affect a lot of low income pet owners. Bosley's should be ashamed of using inflationary times to hurt people even more. .

This store is beyond amazing!! The staff are excellent and go wayyyyyyy above and beyond. You can tell they all truly love the animals, whether it be fish, or dogs! A great spot to visit on a rainy day walk. They give my pup alllll the love and attention he desires which helps burn him out a little bit faster (and drier!!). A very special local favourite ❤️

Had to give our dog an emergency wash and enjoyed the selection of soaps to use. Also loved the spa like atmosphere and the sample treats. Our dog found the exact treats and knocked them off the shelf so we had to give them to her as well as a bone. Staff are super nice and our dog left very happy and smelling fresh!

Twice they have sold me Rancid kitten food!! They refuse to refund or exchange. Worse they won't take off the shelf as apparently it is acceptable to put lives at risk??! Avoid at all cost. Make the effort for a trip to Bones on thrulow. ( plz see pics, paté should not resemble soup)

The staff at Bosleys are always so incredibly helpful and nice when I visit to get supplies and new toys for my Cat Mittens. A big Thank you to the kind lady who helped me pick out a new litter tray with hooded lid and cat bed. Fingers crossed my cat will approve All the best!

Bosley is my neighbourhood pet store, i’ve been loyally buying pet food here for 5 years. You just lost my business by deliberately not giving me receipt, charge me twice on product, and pretend nothing is wrong. If you shop in there, DOUBLE CHECK your receipt.

I got a rescue betta fish as a total surprise yesterday from my building manager. A young woman (Lannie) at Bosley helped me to identify what kind of fish I had and told me how to care for it. Excellent service, she went an extra mile with her customer service!

Lots of treats to test for your dog. My friend's dog is literally in love with those choppers, knuckle bones and "bully" slices made by RedBarn (the U.S. based pet food company, not the BC-based grocery store!). It's cool they carry that brand.

Staff are newer and more friendly towards me. Shopping as an Indigenous person can be interesting, I kid you not if I see staff following me in any store I will turn and start watching them. But the new staff don't treat me suspect.

Lots of pet food! Staff nice but a little pushy. They have some cheap and expensive food, they have an amazing mix of cat toys and lots of collars for cats and dogs. Toys are kinda expensive but relatively reasonable.

I'm 68 and partly disabled. One of the staff carried a heavy bag for two blocks to my home for me. Now that's service! More generally, I have always found the staff quick to help and very knowledgeable.

Knowledgeable staff and helpful. They usually have what I need or a good idea of when it will arrive. Place is clean and organized. Only downside is parking can be tricky.

They have the best selection of Primal Nuggets for cats I've seen yet. In particular the Rabbit formula has been so hard to find. Service is very prompt and quite nice.
