“My underwear were treated like rare comic books.” The gentleman who worked there was amazing and accommodating. We came in the afternoon with 2 bags of clothes and we had the option of picking it up in the morning or washing ourselves. He guaranteed we would love our clothes if he washed them. So we took him up on his offer and he said they would be done tonight! We spent a few hours st the British Museum, then went back. Our clothes were all folded and in a plastic bag to carry back to our hotel. Each type of clothes (socks, underwear, and shirts were all in their own sealed plastic bag. My underwear (and all else) were treated like a rare comic book. They were folded carefully and placed on a cardboard back and sealed in a bag. They looked just like a comic book. My socks were the same and all socks matched with their pairs. All of this for way less than the hotel would charge!

The staff didn’t have the best customer service. If they improved this it would improve the ratings of the laundromat significantly. This is a very busy business. There were multiple machines and dryers out of order so people were leaving to go to another nearby laundromat. The staff stuck to themselves and didn’t offer assistance to customers who were obviously struggling. We didn’t have enough change with us (6 pound for a 20 minute cold wash and 2 pounds for every 10 minutes on the dryer) but the laundromat didn’t have change machine either. Despite having a sign on the front door that says they accept card they only accept coins. The machines were in average condition and you can buy soap from them (for 1 pound). A little bit of love and care into this business and their customers would take them a long way

This is my favourite laundry in the world and I have tried out many. The staff are wonderful. They have change for the machines, so no running to local shops to change up money, washing powder etc available to buy and an abundance of advice and help. I have seen the owner spend time teaching a young man how to fold his sheets and other members of staff assisting customers with folding their laundry. It has a lovely cafe next door (for a cuppa) and a convenience store on the other side. They also have a wonderful man who provides an ironing service and he does it to perfection. The customers and staff are always friendly and I rarely have time to read my book as there are plenty of people ready to chat. I actually look forward to doing my laundry. Thank you.

Fantastic service. Sam is amazing and took care of us extremely well. Super friendly and helpful. Bring your own detergent or you can buy it at the store. Do your own washing / drying or they’ll do it for you. The man is a master at stain removals and gets business from other stores that can’t get clothes clean. He also looks after the local students and will give them a discount. They were so friendly we decided to take our clothes there before the end of the trip so it was all clean when we got home. I don’t normally do reviews but this is an exception. Support a family, local business and go see Boswell Laundry.

Really the best launderette in the city. Top notch machines. Washer and dryers are industrial sized, we only had to do 2 simultaneous batches of laundry for 3 weeks worth of dirty clothes. The best part about this place was the friendly and super helpful customer service - Sam took time to explain to us how to work the machines and even helped me remove stains from my jeans which I thought were done for. He also had a complete set of detergents for whatever use which is super convenient for us travellers. It was for a few minutes but we felt like we were treated like family there ❤️ Thanks again Sam!

We had 2 weeks of laundry while on a trip to London and the large washing machine was enough to fit a medium suitcase load of clothes. We however had to use 2 dryers(which are quite spacious) to dry the clothes in half the time. The lady attendant was quite helpful and they give coins for using in the machines. They have soap at a few but you will need to get softener and bleach if you’ll need any. The place is quite busy but it’s small compared to the traffic of work and people but they do offer laundry services if you don’t want the hustle. I enjoyed the services

As I’ve been staying in a hotel, I refused to pay the hotel prices for laundry services. I did a google search to find the nearest launderette and this one came up as the closest. I’ve been a regular customer since. The main guy is absolutely amazing. The service received is truly personal. The place is clean and fresh, reasonably priced and all is done to a high standard. It’s clear that all customers are happy with the service as they always return as I can see he has his regular customers. It’s not surprising as he is extremely helpful

Absolutly great staff (the woman). She helped me with even my lousy questions. Take care that you take laundry dergant with you (or buy it on the shop just right of the wash saloon), otherwise you'll need to pay 1,50£ for a sip of their dergant. Because of the fact that i just wanted to wash my clothes just once, it didn't made sense to me to buy a whole package of sergant from the store. So I paid the 1,50£. Anyway, service is great, my clothes smells fresh (4£ washing) & and feels fresh (1£ for 10min dryer).

Boswell Laundrette was a great find, they are the friendliest cleanest launderette I’ve ever been to. The washing machines and dryers are well maintain and look to be almost new. The staff are efficient and the clothes are always perfectly clean and folded for you for just a little extra cost than doing it yourself. I personally like to sit and do my own washing but have had Boswell’s wash them a couple of times too when I haven’t had time. I would highly recommend using this laundromat.

My husband and I needed to do a quick wash and as we were staying at the Holborn Kingsley this laundrette was close in proximity to the hotel. The owner greeted us and accommodated us with our washing. Before we knew it our clothes were washed and dried because we were chatting the whole time. I would not hesitate in recommending this laundry especially if you require change for the machines and washing detergent. It’s such a pleasure to meet someone so friendly :)

The best laundry in this area. The machines are always in good condition, ready to be used. The place is very clean, nice and tidy. The assistants are always looking after the customers, they are very friendly and polite, always working. Prices are reasonable. There are benches to sit down while you are waiting for your laundry or there is a little park near and aome places where you can have a coffee. All in all this is an excellent place.

As an American study abroad student, these people are super nice, considerate, and helpful throughout the whole process! They do a convenient drop off service where they wash and dry your clothing for you, with a small load being £22.50. The small load itself is pretty sizable as well, I was able to fit in 3 jeans, 2 jackets, and some other clothes as well! This place is The Place if you want a good deal on laundry and customer service!

We were very pleased as the owner honestly told us when we arrived a bit late, so we wouldn't be left with wet laundry. We came back the next day and had a good experience as the owner chatted away with the customers. He was able to tell us how much we'd have to spend in honesty, and we had a walk while the machines did their work. The machines and laundry baskets were clean. We would definitely return on a next visit.

We found Boswell Laundry when we were desperate to do some laundry while on vacation- and so glad we did! The gentleman who helped us was lovely- the turnaround time was only a few hours too! One thing that impressed me is the care they took with our wash and fold items- all the socks were packed together, underwear, bows tied on items that had drawstrings. I appreciated their careful attention to detail.

Extremely happy to find this place! My hotel was nearby - it was 10£ for a load + soap and 30 min of dryer. Tina was so helpful - I only had a bill and she had change for me and helped me use the machine. They provided a pod for 1£ and wash is 30 min - nearby Pret around and a nice park so I got to sit there and read. I was done within the hour! Highly recommend - clean inside and decent amnt of machines.

This is a very good laundrette. They are clean, efficient and the staff are polite, super friendly and helpful. All the machines are generally in good working order and you can buy powder etc when you’re there. In my view the washing results are excellent. There’s also a dry cleaning service, which I’ve used, and thought was very good value. This laundrette is highly recommended and very popular.

Most helpful and kindly people. Clothes arrived beautifully folded and the presentation was simply superb. I paid by card, no fuss no bother and the clothes were delivered to the hotel at the time promised - helpful as there was about 7kg in the bags. They gave me my day back! They have 3 different machines 1 big, 1 medium, 1 small. £8 for big £6 for medium £4 for small. Takes 20 min and have different options as in hot, cold etc. The dryer is £1 for 10 min, I usually need 20-30 min for a medium or big wash. If you don't have detergent with you they have it for sale. I've been here 3 times already, super friendly staff, highly recommend!

My family and I have been coming in here for years and love it. The ironing, dry cleaning, and service wash are all spectacular. They were even able to get some of the toughest stains out of toddler's clothes. Sam is also very friendly and personable and always gives a reasonable price and quick turn around. We feel lucky to have such a service in our neighborhood.

A clean and well-maintained laundromat with the best on-site staff who helped us make change and set the machines correctly for our laundry. Jumbo washers and efficient dryers - we were in and out in 1 hr. We’re trekking across Europe and needed to refresh our laundry, so this place was cheap and so so so easy to make traveling less stressful (and less stinky).

Incredibly easy. I spent an hour & a half doing two loads of laundry because I didn’t want to take up too many machines. They have baskets for you to use! I didn’t have any paper/cash/bills (the machines are coin only, but they will exchange for you), but there’s a mini market next door that will happily give you cash back. Thank you !

I don’t leave a lot of reviews but my experience here was just wonderful! I’m visiting from outside the country and only had a few hours to get my laundry done before leaving. They had it ready to go within 3 hours and were just so lovely! They even nicely folded and bagged my clothes. Would definitely recommend going here.

Clean laundry area with 7 normal size washers ($5 pound), 4 larger ($7 pound) cold water washers, and 1 larger all temperature washer. 4 normal and 4 larger ($1 pound per 10 min) dryers. Tina, the attendant, was friends with many people who came in! She was friendly to us, gave change, and helped set up the machine.

Perfect place for travelers - staff *extremely* friendly and helpful. They'll change your paper money for needed coins, and have soap from sale. (you can get dryer sheets at the shop next door.) Very fast and convenient. The walk from my hotel, 2 loads washed and dried, and back to my hotel in less than an hour!

The owner was so helpful, her customer service fire! When she couldn’t get all the underwear back into the suitcase that I brought she separated all the underwear in there own sections, socks/tees/underwear into separates.! I don’t ever get this type of service back in the states!

We were able to walk here from our nearby hotel to do a load of wash that had accumulated. One 20-minute load was £5, and we paid £1 for a detergent pod. The attendant made change for us and helped keep everyone moving. We were out of there within an hour's time.

The only laundromat I will use when I'm in London. They offer two services - drop off or do it yourself. DIY will cost around 10 GBP depending on what size is machine used. There is a coffee shop next door and a barber shop in case you need a haircut (haha)
