What a great coffee shop and competitor to the strong coffee cafe scene in the arts district. What do I really appreciate about this shop? *There are numerous outlets all over the place! *The WiFi is super solid, especially for virtual work. *A good number of food items of all sorts (from dessert-y items to more sandwich/wrap items) as well as a number of different coffee/tea items both hot and cold. *The restroom has been clean every time I've been! *Overall, appreciate the seating choices from benches to bar seating to tables as well as outdoor seating. Here are the items I've tried out here: *Creme de Pistache Protein Bowl: Pretty tasty and believe this was vegan. Appreciated that it listed how much protein was in here (+10 grams) and overall, tasted pretty good // not overly sweet. *Strawberry Vanilla Chia Parfait: I personally wasn't a fan of this. Lacking flavor and not sweet at all, it does have 10+ grams of protein. The best part was the strawberry fruit bites. *Oji Cold Brew: Solid! Love a good kyoto style cold brew, and it's done well here! *Cappuccino: Also lovely. Comes in about a medium size cup and is just a good mix of frothy and enough of a good kick. Yes, cost will be a bit higher than coffee shops outside of DTLA but think the quality and shop aesthetic makes it worth it! Parking-wise, it's probably best to look for street parking if possible which isn't the easiest. . *EDIT: Whoops - looks like they do provide 2 hour validation as well for the parking structure in the back! Huge fan of Boxx and can't wait to be back soon!

Stunning. Never did I ever expect to find a high quality coffee shop - let alone a roaster - here. For me, the espresso is the go-to first cuppa and their Brazilian roast had that sublime flavor profile reminiscent of the best coffee shops in Adelaide and Melbourne. Enjoyed that one with a ham and cheese pastry. Then followed with a flat white equally outstanding with creamy micro foam - and a barista who shared their experience with cold brew that they create six or so times a week. But only during the day so they can carefully monitor to ensure proper infusion. Ambiance amazing with soft background jazz and artfully selected bonzai all with roasters in the backdrop. A gem.

I came to this place through google Maps searching. I usually trust coffee shops that roast themselves. That was the main reason I went here. I like bitter coffee than sour coffee, but the sour pour-over coffee I had here was pretty good. The chocolate croissant served with coffee doesn't disappoint me anywhere. I did not have to worry about parking because I could do street parking for a long time on the street in front of the coffee shop. I saw the Turkish coffee kit for the first time here, and I will try it the next time I visit again.

Excellent pour over coffees can be found here. We tried the coffee cake and the salmon dish, both were superb, especially the saltiness of the salmon and the dressing was notably tasty. We liked it enough to order a second coffee, however they became quite busy and the wait was extended due to this. The coffee is worth the wait, so be patient. Don’t come here expecting a quick pick up, they take the time to make a high quality cup for you.

** updated: went there for coffee bean, it’s great to have a local roaster around here! They gave me free latte (you can get a free drink of your choice) and it was super delicious. ** They have interesting turkish coffee. It took a while and I didn’t like it much, but the staff was kind. They have own roaster, but didn’t have coffee bean to sell (maybe they have it now, not sure).

Sometimes they care, sometimes they don't. It was suppose to be for here... and they put it in a to go cup... with No matcha art and loud fiesta music... today is an off day. I come here often. The quality, customer service, and presentation really varies. It can be great one day, and really REALLY disappointing the next.

A scent of their coffee is really good I ordered iced americano and this place is one of my favorite. I recommended this place if you like a coffee ☕️

Before going, I noted online in addition to coffee there were breakfast items. None were available. Bakery were also few, I was surprised as it was only 10 am.

Very strong coffee! Beautiful ambient. Friendly staff. I enjoyed an early talk with my son all while my dog was on my lap. Got free front street parking but plenty throughout the near vicinity. Glad I got there when it was quiet and no line outside. Got pretty busy after we left.

The coffee is…. Fine. The woman working here today was really just nasty. All I asked for is if they had simple syrup behind the counter (you know, because packet sugar doesn’t melt in iced coffee) and she SNAPPED at me. Coffee doesn’t have to be pretentious. Be kinder.

Loved loved loved. Sencha green tea that is perfecto and served in simply the most gorgeous matte black ceramics. Latte was a mega hit. Service so beautiful. You can sit inside or outside, we sat outside watching the world go by. Such a favourite of ours now.

Great coffee shop find by my friend! The vibe was chill and it's distinctly curated with decor and peppered with little plants that you can purchase! Got me thinking it could work as a thoughtful or last minute gift. Reasonably priced as it

I came to art district for coffee trip, and this place is a gem. Kind staffs and nice coffee. They have turkish coffee as they came from Istanbul and variety of small batches. I picked one from Burundi, a washed light roast, and they gave

I love drinking black coffee (hot/cold) and the coffee here is so good and flavorful. I love their drip and they’re cold brew is pretty tasty too (there’s two types of cold brew; one more strong than the other).

Brilliant coffee and fantastic location. Parking is a little rough however. But don't let that discourage you from coming to have their wonderful coffee. And they serve authentic Turkish coffee. Need I say more?

The blue jasmine tea is amazing. Just make sure to let any tea brew for a few minutes after they serve it. Great atmosphere and of course the area has good parking and other great food options around it.

The owner ordered supplies from me and never paid. My experience with this company is that it is owned by a dishonest individual. If you can, encourage other coffee shops owned by honest people.

This is the place where you find the LA vibe. Amazing ambience, friendly service, great coffee, beautiful indoor plants, stylish industrial design.

  • Lawrence Kay

Inviting with its plants and comfortable spaces for laptopping, but the espresso-based coffee is unfortunately thin. Patchy Wi-Fi. Welcoming staff.

  • Jonathan Saavedra

Best coffee on the East Side of Town. Food is great. They got Vegan for all of you Vegan Lovers. It is also pet friendly. Check em out.

  • Loveleen Brar

Come here not just for the coffee but the best service in town. True to the coffee culture maintaining tradition and good coffee.

  • Chinglan Ho

Barista was very passionate to introduce their coffee and bean's selection. Very impressed with their latte and dripping coffee.

  • Gary Brown

Update your website about kitchen being closed. Took an expensive Uber ride to get here. Good coffee and nice guys.

Cute place, but I could hardly hear my order being called even while standing near the front

  • Jason Clark
