I think that this is one of the best coffees I have ever had in my life. I had the opportunity to find this coffee shop around 8 months ago and instantly I became a customer of this place. This is a family run business that are constantly trying to improve themselves paying a lot of attention to every detail. I have noticed that if something doesn’t go according to plan, they will become obsessed solving whatever went wrong. In addition, the staff/family will make you feel as if you were part of their family, everybody is extremely kind, always happy to see you and to serve you in the best possible way. If you are looking for excellent coffee, from the best coffee plantations in Colombia, with excellent baristas to get the best of the coffee beans, this is your place.

My favorite coffee shop in Cartagena. They are so knowledgeable and will help explain the methods and intricacies of the beans and methodology. You can get the quick go to coffees such as americanos, cappuccino or espresso or you can get a French Press, Kallita, Chemex or Siphon. With the latter, it will be one of the best coffees ever, will be so good that one will want to take some beans home. They also have great empanadas and nice looking cakes, which are tasty. I have tried the other coffee shops in town, Bozha is the best by far.

Bozha café es un mega recomendado tanto para visitantes como para locales, ubicado en el barrio San Diego, en el centro histórico. Ofrece un café exquisito de calidad excepcional, en sus dos presentaciones especial y orgánico, también en su menú ofrecen snacks ligeros como sandwich de pavo, empanadas y tortas, y otras bebidas como jugos naturales y cócteles. El servicio siempre está atento a los detalles y brindan una excelente atención. El ambiente y la música son muy chic, perfecto para compartir con amigos, una reunión de negocios o disfrutar de la compañía de uno mismo. Finalmente, el balance entre precio, servicio y producto es apropiado y justo.

I had a fantastic experience here for my first visit in Cartagena. I absolutely love the area. The turkey panini was excellent. I tried the Colombian suero sauce as well. My cappuccino was very smooth and delicioso. I had a lovely conversation with the family while I was here. The AC was just right and the WiFi was excellent. Total 23,000COP ( about $6.00). I will definitely be back. Beautifully decorated space with an outside area. There are some good shops on this street I'm going to check out next time. Very good liquor selections too. Some common US brands not easily found in this city. This a a great find in the San Diego area.

Edited to add that we’ve been coming here for the past several weeks and it is our favorite spot in town! Every member of the team is wonderful and has become like family to us. We will miss this cafe when we leave Cartagena. Sweet cafe that serves delicious empanadas, sandwiches, coffee, and more! It is very homey and the perfect spot to get away to finish work or enjoy a chat with a friend. Marcela who works here is kind and friendly and my daughter loves stopping in! The little cookies they give is the best treat and prices are very reasonable. We will be stopping by during our stay here often.

English is not the best but they try and I felt nothing but compassion.

I had an amazing experience at Bozha ☕️. The quality of the coffee, the cakes and the drinks was fascinating they use very good liquor to make their drinks .. The staff was attentive, friendly, respectful and very professional. Bozha’s lively colors and decor gave it a very happy ambiance full of good vibes not to mention the AC felt amazing and the WIFI was also very fast . When I return to Cartagena this will definitely will be one of my first stops.. I highly recommended it, you will not be disappointed to and awesome place !

Llegamos de casualidad pero regresamos porque el café y la atención son de primera! Ordenamos el café orgánico al vapor que resultó ser bastante suave y agradable después del intenso calor de Cartagena. Lo más interesante fue el proceso de destilación que lo realizan directamente en tu mesa. Las empanadas que hace la propietaria, Ángela, son deliciosas y muy saludables. El café es pequeño pero muy bien decorado y limpio además de tener acondicionado que enfría todo el lugar. Muy recomendable!

We had the best time at Bozha. The coffee was delicious—we ordered a Chemex and they made it at our table. The cheese empanadas were delicious and the tiny cookies were the perfect treat for our kids. Location is awesome, right off the Centro bus stop. Highly recommend for families!

A breakfast menu has just been introduced at Bozha in their new location - and I was very impressed! I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and maize arepas - fresh from the kitchen from chef Flores. Great cakes! Awesome spot for a good late drink and cake! I had the carrot cake (torta de zanahoria) and orange cake (torta de naranja) I have had my fair share of cakes and desserts...the texture and taste on these cakes where moist and crumbly...Yum! I also had the gin Martini and it was amazing! We came here around 10pm and the waiter was very friendly...and welcoming...will be back for some café!!

After two years stranded by the pandemia In Cartagena, Colombia and having the time to visit different coffeeshops, I finally found Bozha cafe, located at 'calle de la necesidad' what is so special? The taste of coffee, and the pastries so good, low in sugar which I love, and the stuff is so beautiful they even adopted me as the "tia" I love that. I found the best coffee and a family. I highly recommend it.

An intimate oasis of a neighborhood bar tucked into the beautiful and vibrant neighborhood of San Diego, Cartagena. The A/C and warm service was a welcome reprieve from the unrelenting heat/humidity. Bar owner, John, was incredibly helpful in providing us with insider tips on best ways to experience all Cartagena has to offer. We cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough.

Favourite cafe in Cartegena! Cute interior, cold aircon and nice little garden courtyard with a fan. Staff are very nice and service is wonderful. My husband ordered chemex and it was prepared at our table with such care. He said it was very good! Yummy strawberry and pineapple juice, and beef empanada. Cakes looked soo good - will definitely be back for a slice or two.

My favorite cafe in Cartagena. Unpretentious, with baristas that actually love what they do (and like to nerd out on coffee), a cute outdoor patio, and bright local vibe. I ordered a french press and they really brought out the artillery (see photo). Wishing all the success in the world for this little cafe.

If you’re looking for coffee, Bozha is the best place in the area. The staff are super friendly and they have a huge menu for different types of coffees or drinks. They are also knowledgeable and answered all my questions about proper storage and ideal brewing conditions. They also have quick wifi, if you need a quiet place to get some work done

I was there early and the only client for a little while. The staff was treating me like a membre of the family, helping me planing the rest of my trip! The Americano was rich and strong as I like them. Very chill place!

We stayed in an airbnb nearby and frequented this shop every morning. Their empanadas and coffee were the perfect start to our day. This is a family run shop that obviously cares very much about their craft. They made it feel like we were part of the family. This place is excellent for coffee. It’s cool and cute inside so it feels easy to relax with a hot coffee! Expertly made latte and friendly staff. It’s not listed as a coffee shop in google - it’s listed as a cafeteria currently. Just FYI for the owners. I wouldn’t have found it if I hadn’t walked by!

So glad I found this place. It was my go to spot for cold brew and baked empanadas. Their coffee is excellent. I am also very pleased with their 1-8 pm happy hour special (buy 1 get 1 free margaritas for $24.000 COP) TIP: try their spicy sauce. It is delicious and makes the empanadas much better.

My husband and I discovered this wonderful Cafe Bar on our 2nd day in Cartagena. We’ve been here 1 month now and it is our regular and favourite coffee place. Excellent coffee variations and superb service. Thank you Luis, Marcella and Frederico for your warm welcome and attention to detail!
