Would highly recommend, they put a concrete Lintel above a first floor window very pleased with the whole experience. Rang me the night before to confirm what time they would be coming and turned up on time. The two tradesmen were both polite and courteous, and kept me well informed if they had to leave to get anything. Removed all the rubbish and left site clean. Just used them again. Most people will say would recommend, well the proof is I have used them again to do a leak in my roof valley. Once again Steve came when promised to give a quote and although not the cheapest he was also not the dearest. The job was done when promised and site left clean. All though I had a small leak after which was difficult to find they came back to rectify the problem and were most apologetic, nothing seemed too much for them to satisfy me. The tradesmen were all excellent and I will use them again for any work that may arise in the future. Customer service cannot, in my view, be beaten.

Excellent service . Like another reviewer we originally had repairs done by others that failed and left us with a roof that still leaked. We had wanted a quick fix without waiting for scaffolding but it was a false economy. Once our roof was assessed properly it became clear that we needed a new roof and during the work some new problems were found that required repairs to the chimney, new flashings and work on the underlying brick work. At all times we were kept fully informed by the team and the options for dealing with the issues that were found. The work has been of very high quality and the team were friendly, helpful and tidy, respecting our needs. We will certainly recommend Bratt’s to others and go back to them for any other work on the house as it has been well worth the money and we now have a solid roof under guarantee that we can be confident about.

Bratt Builders is an excellent company. They put right the dreadful job our previous builder had made of the roof on our new extension. Mike and Sean make a wonderful team: they uncovered the damage and awful workmanship on and in the roof, then made a superb new roof with far more insulation, solid beams, ventilation grids, new felting and a tilt to enable any rainwater to run off naturally. The roof now looks so good (yes, I actually enjoy just looking at it!), with every detail on it made to the highest standard. Mike and Sean are great to have around, trustworthy, knowledgeable and hard workers, and they left everything clean and tidy. The job took much longer than anticipated because of all the unexpected complications but we were charged a very fair price. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We were very impressed right from day one with the totally professional service provided by Steve and his team. They were prompt in visiting us to quote for repairs to our dormer roof, providing useful photos to show us the extent of the work needed. I thought I had a roof leak affecting an internal ceiling. Steve from Bratt Builders & Roofing Specialists came out promptly to check it out for me when convenient for me and gave me some really useful explanations of the state of my roof and real issue which didn’t actually require external corrective action. His communication before the visit and on the day were great. It was refreshing to have had some honest advice and great customer service despite not needing to get any work done at the moment, where so many other firms in the industry would have probably tried to mis-sell a service to get work out of vulnerable customers. Bratts did a very professional job from beginning to end. We needed new gutterings as well as repairs to the ridge tiles, valley and chimneys. At our initial meeting Steve gave us sound advice. Communication was very good throughout with clear estimates and explanations of the work required. We were given photographs before, during and at completion of the work. The work was completed to a high standard with an eye to detail as they sourced matching replacement tiles and reclaimed bricks. Steve’s two roofers were great. They arrived on time every day, worked really hard, were respectful, kept us informed of what they were doing and left the site clean and tidy. We would recommend this company.

Bratts did an excellent job. They completely replaced the gutters , refurbished the large hip roof, re-layed the ridges, repaired two chimney stacks, took down a third stack, and replaced 100+ tiles. They gave good advice on alternative solutions to repairing the roof, they were clear on quoting at each successive stage and they kept to their quotes,. They showed considerable expertise in older roofs (1920s Rosemary tiles) and chimneys like mine. They were punctual, flexible in working round the weather and kept me clearly informed. They dealt with one or two roofing surprises competently. The team were unfailingly cheerful , they tidied up well, and the whole job looks good. I recommend them.

I used Bratt Builders & Roofers through a recommend from a friend who had work done by them. I have had a flat roof done on my extension and the ridges done on my roof and I must say the work was of an excellent quality. The 2 employee's that came to do my jobs were really nice honest lads which is always nice. I will have no doubt to call Steve again when I need some more work doing on my house. Good service and good to deal with. Someone came out to see me very quickly and instantly knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I received a written quote very promptly and the whole process was very slick and professional. It was a few weeks before they could actually carry out the work but as it wasn't urgent that wasn't a problem. Slightly on the expensive side but I feel as though I got was I was paying for. I would use them again and recommend them.

Very impressed with the high standard of work carried out in replacing old gutters all around the house and installing new white soffits, new guttering and a new covering to a rear bedroom bay roof. Contacted Bratt Builders last December. We had water ingress in one of the bedrooms and could see some slipped tiles on the roof around the ventilation duct. Spoke to Steve and sent some photos via their website. He came round to check it out and before Xmas the guys came round and sorted it out. They seemed very competent and professional. It's May now and no problems. Would definitely use again.

Had these guys in to remedy poor valley work by another builder and to do general repairs to roof and chimney flashing. They were very good and did an excellent job. The guys who did the work (Chris and Steve?) were very courteous - also clearly very good at what they do. Replaced probably more tiles than expected but didn’t charge anything extra. Second time I have used Bratt Builders. Came to repair and re-roof my porch roof. Arrived promptly, stripped roof, re-felted with new fascia, all done within the day. Experienced a minor problem a couple of days later, emailed them over the weekend, they arrived on the Monday morning to sort. Very happy with the work done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Very quick to come and provide a quote and although was initially told it could take between 10 to 12 weeks to get the job done, it was less than half of that. Friendly and looks like a good job done. People tend to search for work by price but I was let down by 2 other firms that came in slightly cheaper. You get what you pay for!

Great service, thank you. I had scaffolding erected to paint the exterior and discovered that a few repairs were needed to the roof (taking advantage of the scaffolding being in place). Despite being busy Bratt Builders managed to fit the job in at relatively short notice and do a great job.
