A Time-Traveling Experience at Brew Cafe & Wine Bar! I recently visited Brew Cafe & Wine Bar, desperately tired from a late night and in need of something to fuel me through a demanding day. Little did I know that this visit would be a delightful journey back in time, all thanks to the remarkable bartender, Keelan. As I entered Brew Cafe & Wine Bar, my exhaustion weighed heavily on me. I settled at the bar, hoping for a rejuvenating experience. That's when I met Keelan, a modern mixology alchemist. I asked Keelan for a perfect pick-me-up, granting him creative freedom. Like an alchemist of old, Keelan didn't just take my request at face value; he delved deeper, seeking to understand my preferences and desired outcome. Our conversation became a captivating exploration of flavours. Keelan's passion for his craft shone through as he skilfully questioned me to refine his creation. After discussing various options, he embarked on crafting a drink that transported me to another era: a unique creation, a green tea and elderflower liquor concoction. The moment I tasted Keelan's elixir, I knew it was something extraordinary. The harmonious blend of green tea and elderflower liquor was a refreshing and rejuvenating revelation. It was as if I had traveled back in time, savouring a drink of utmost quality and craftsmanship. Keelan's skill and creativity left me in awe as I savoured every sip. He didn't just create a drink; he crafted an experience tailored to my needs. I felt invigorated, ready to face the day's challenges with renewed vigour. In conclusion, my visit to Brew Cafe & Wine Bar was an amazing experience, thanks to Keelan's exceptional talents. If anyone deserves a pay raise, it's Keelan. His dedication to his craft and commitment to providing unique experiences for patrons are commendable. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to Brew Cafe & Wine Bar to discover more of Keelan's magical concoctions. If you're seeking a place that combines mixology artistry with a historical journey, this is the place to be. Cheers to Brew Cafe & Wine Bar, and heartfelt thanks to Keelan for his exceptional service and the drink that saw me through a challenging day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bump into this bar by accident. Saw a cafe down the alley and decided to check it out. Turns out there is a very big space down there. Surprised by the design of the bar, love it! They have happy hour promotions everyday, I guess it is from 4pm to 6pm everyday. And they have their weekly special promotion which I have included in the pictures. You can check it out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. My phone battery was almost dying and I have asked them to help me charge my phone and they are very happy to help it. Overall it is a good place to chill. Would definitely come again!

Walking into this place in the AM, you could be forgiven for expecting last night’s sticky, spilt alcohol partying smells to hit you - but far from it. This place is a cool, dark, protected haven from the hardcore Bikram yoga humidity of Brisbane outdoor venues in the mornings. The food is incredible - bacon is better than we’ve come across in a long time - and eggs + toast cooked beautifully- and the coffee is good too(!). Obviously the owner of this bar wanted to offset the property costs against more $ than just evening traffic/commerce - and it could have been a disaster as most similar efforts are. But this place really works. We had an amazing brekkie with our two little boys. Highly recommended.

Very hipster vibe cafe/restaurant/bar with a great selection of alternative music. The entrance is a downhill alley with walls covered in spectacular art. The staff is friendly and laid back much like the atmosphere is. My first time having a “chicken schnitty”, which is essentially breaded chicken breast fried doused in a gravy with a side of fries and spicy coleslaw. The coleslaw was fresh and had a hint of chipotle which was a great kick to pizzaz the dish. The chicken delightful as the outer layer was a perfectly fried breading, crispy, light and delicious. Happy hour is, “5 to 6pm every damn day!”. Lots of seating available to include banquet tables and couches and even outdoor seating. Great place to eat great food and hang out with good company.

I enjoy the way this cafe is tucked away at the end of a dingy lane. It looks like a subterranean bar, but also has good coffee, snacks and food. Fast and friendly service, plenty of seating options. The atmosphere is definitely 'dark cave', but in Brisbane's summer weather that is a good thing. Sometimes you just need to get out of that relentless sunshine. As a bonus, I like the background music.

Hidden cafe that transports you to a funky underground vibe! We had to take a quick trip to Brissy on a Wednesday afternoon. After the long drive, we were just craving for good coffee. I saw this place on google maps and saw that people were saying the coffee was decent. It was either Maccas or this place - we chose the latter. We had chicken schnitzels with good flavour! The chicken portion could’ve been slightly bigger bit it was enough for my husband and I to share. Loaded fries was really yum!! What surprised me is the coffee! I didn’t expect the coffee to be good! But it was so we ordered 3 more to go. If you’re looking for a unique city dining experience in, a quick meal and good coffee, check out this place!

☕️☕️ Since relocating to Brisbane from Victoria, this is unquestionably the best coffee I've had. I typically order a long black, which often turns out too bitter at other places. However, the team at Brew perfected my afternoon brew, serving a smooth and perfectly tempered long black. While they mentioned the St. ALi beans from Melbourne might be a factor, I believe it's the expertise of the Brew team. They seem to understand the nuances of coffee preparation, adjusting the grind to avoid over-extraction and ensuring a balanced cup devoid of bitterness. It's now my go-to coffee spot.

Nice brunch place, is hidden gem next to Brisbane town hall. The food is pretty good, we had the scramble eggs, eggs benny and big brekkie. All well executed, the hollandaise sauce had a little bit extra vinegar. But good. The eggs comes with tomato chutney. It was spot on. The coffee is ok, the espresso was little bit too bitter. But the execution of the cappuccino was great. In general, it is a good place to come and have breakfast. I've never been during the bar hours, but maybe in the future

Stopped past for breakfast on our holiday, when we walked in we weren’t expecting the best… However and all I can say is wow! The coffee was the best I have had in Brisbane so far! The breakfast was delicious and so flavourful I had the eggs your way, poached. And they were cooked beautifully. My partner had the big breakfast and he said it was simple but filling and tasty at the same time, The beans are to die for!! Really great experience and we will definitely be back

Slightly hidden gem next to the mall was a lifesaver after what can only be described as a debouched evening of alcohol induced poor decisions... Had a great coffee that lasted about 2 seconds and a really generous smashed avo with poached eggs that definitely hit the spot. Cool vibes here, kinda underground but still humble and not too Melbourne trendy... thank you!!! Great spot to recover on a loungy table.

Good spot for lunch on a weekday, something for everything on the menu. Pretty popular for the corporate crowd if you go at lunch, glad I booked a table, it fills up pretty quick. Food was tasty, but portion sizes aren't massive (I had a chicken parmy) and it was definitely lunch size, but probably be a bit disappointed if I ordered it for dinner considering it was $30. Would absolutely come back though.

If you're visiting Brisbane, then this has to be at least a breakfast stop. Start at the top of Burnett Lane at the kangaroo artwork and wander the length of the laneway taking in the street art. This will build your appetite for more art and food before you arrive at The Brew. What a great bolt hole. Great food and staff. The home made relish is reduced and rich. Even good just on a finger Coffee is good too.

What a surprise Brew Cafe & Wine Bar was. Tucked down the back of the end of lower burnett Lane is a little space that isn't so little. Staff here are helpful and the menu is great. Covering good breakfast options and a hearty blend for lunch. We tried the salads and kids nuggets and chips and all were fantastic. Good flavours with small flavour twists. The drinks menu looked good too from beers and wine to coffee and juices. Worth seeking this place out for a sticky beek for sure

Met up with a colleague for burger and wine. Been past here lots of times, but had no idea this place existed :) Serviceable menu. Good bar selection. Underground location is a good spot if it’s hot and you need to get out of the sun. Had a few tables with people with laptops who were clearly working from home. A work spot with a wine bar sounds perfect :)

I’ve been to Brew many times before and their coffee remains of a high standard. Aromatic, smooth and sweet! It’s a known hidden gem situated right in the centre of the busy Central Brisbane District. The food is delicious and their menu is unique. Their friendly service is helpful.
