The fries at this place were so good! & the spicy mayo dipping sauce was a great pairing. My friend liked the turkey chili. The service was interesting. One server came to us & took our food/drink order & told us the kitchen closed at midnight. We get our drinks & one app & a different server comes & says the kitchen closes at 11pm & he said he’d come back to get the rest of our order. At one point I had to tap someone who worked there to to get the server. The music was far too loud, we could barely hear each other & were yelling to speak sometimes. & at one point all the tvs w/ basketball games were turned off. It was as if they were closing but made zero announcements. So we paid the bill & left.

Cozy interior, cute for a sports bar. Food was mediocre. The server got my drink order wrong and charged me for a more expensive drink. The drink in question was an alcoholic vs virgin cider. There must've only been a small amount of alcohol in it because I only noticed halfway through. I told a server that it was the wrong drink but apparently too late. Would respect a business more for 1) getting drink orders right in the first place and 2) owning up when they're wrong.

I have been here countless times for happy hour. Happy hour specials are great but I'm writing this review for the onion rings alone. Seriously. The picture I'm posting is because I couldn't stop eating a darn onion rings. I meant to take it when the order got served but immediately after I ate one, I kept eating the rest! If you're in the mood for a classic bar appetizers and $5 wine, $4 drafts, $5 well drinks at happy hour. This is your place.

It's a classic neighborhood tap house that offers a wide selection of both local and non-local beers, great quality foods, and proper screens for all the important matches. This particular one, however, definitely stands out with its stunning ambiance which comes from its spatial setting and lighting; with the most friendly staffs you can imagine; and with the reasonably-priced menus. What an impeccable place that deserves its time and name.

A bar with various British offerings such as fish and chips, and an English style breakfast. Ordered the fish and chips, the battered fish was great, the chips were not traditional chippys but were good nonetheless. The margarita was tasty and quite strong so be prepared for that. The mozzarella sticks were especially cheesy which was great!

We just ate some delicious jalapeno pepper poppers, about 8 to an order, and some outrageously delicious burgers. The cozy atmosphere was inviting and Laura is an outstanding server! We are glad she asked to check our vaccine documents and I.D.'s. We look forward to coming back the next time we visit Brooklyn! Thanks Brooklyn Public House!

Went on a Monday night and decided to have cocktails and an early dinner. The menu offers traditional Irish Pub fare. I ad the jalapeño poppers and steak salad. The generous portions are made for sharing. My friends also enjoyed the salmon salad. You can't beat the $3 shots! Trivia Night is geld on Mondays and great for groups of 4 or more people.

Nice no frills bar where you can order some drinks and kick it back. Very nice vibe in the bar and there’s a lot of seating you can choose from. Drinks were great and reasonably priced. It does get a bit busy on the weekends but it’s a popular spot in the area. Would definitely come back if I’m nearby in the future!

Super surprised by the quality of meat and cooking in the burger. Pretty straight forward stack: meat, some cheese...is this arugula? Anyway the whole thing was cooked super well--very juicy. Fries + sports was also good.

Excellent burgers, Awesome atmosphere, Love the playlist, Service is top notch, Clean, Fresh ceasar salad, Very good lentil soup, Fair prices. The only 2 things I would fix - eggs were kinda boring and not worth their price, and one beef stew dish that was unchewable. Still I'd go back for a lot of other benefits.

Picked up take out here about a week ago. The food was ready right on time based on the estimated time. They have a great menu and the food was solid. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy. If you’re in the mood for pub food, definitely check them out! Will order from here again.

very good $4 an egg deviled eggs yet a not so good tito's martini with extra olives as it had no olives but a lemon twist and was served in a coupe. nope to that. will try again, tho. server earnest, btw.

We had brunch there. The turkey chilly was very good. I ordered an omlet but they got the cheese choice wrong and they forgot a side of bacon. The omlet, toast and potatoes were tasty but they included a little salad of greens and carrots on the plate but with no dressing.

This place is simply amazing, the food is always fresh and served in minutes and the costumer service is on point. The crispy fries with hot mayo sauce is to die for and the atmosphere is lively with sports and a bar area. Highly recommend this place to all

I live down the block from this place and my goodness I couldn’t have found a better neighborhood spot. Always good food, great beer selection and an atmosphere that makes you feel all warm and cozy. I’m so lucky to always have this spot in my back pocket!

Never disappoints. Love sitting outside for happy hour, or inside for a local game. Don’t let the pub / dark bar for you ~ the food is amazing and quality! Great service too.

Spurs fan here and this is the pub I frequent most weekend mornings. I used to make the hour-long commute from East Williamsburg just because of the great food, atmosphere and owner (LFC supporter). Just don't show up wearing any Manchester

One of the best places in Brooklyn! Amazing staff and music. We always feel taken care of and cannot recommend this establishment enough. Keep up the amazing work! Shout out to Andres, Damien, Francisco, Martin, Marcela, Elias. Cheers, Dino

This business (Wendy and Marcela, on behalf of the owner) refused patrons escorted by service dogs. This is completely illegal and discriminative. People’s lives depend on their service dogs and saying “I don’t want dogs in my restaurant”

  • Manuel del Nido

I’m one that leaves reviews only when having positive things to say but will be making an exception for Wendy, Marcela and the Brooklyn Public House. Last Friday, I walked in with a friend and my service dog for a quick bite. Marcela at

The absolute best. Everything you could dream of for a neighborhood tavern. Outstanding food (world's best nachos not kidding), solid beer and whiskey lists, beautiful cozy space, kindest staff you can imagine. Just go.

Really liked this place. Choice of beers was nice, good menu. Atmosphere was great. Felt like in Ireland a bit ( smelled like pubs in Ireland lol I know it sounds weird but it was very nostalgic for me ) Would go back!

Got the short ribs. Soooooooo tender and melty. And the brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection too. Stuff still tasted good after the fullness and self-loathing started settling in. So worth it.

That photo came out of the 1965 Pratt yearbook, and here is another one. The place looks really great after all these years, and if I didn't live in Texas I would come pay a visit.
