I usually don't leave negative feedback to any company. Because thoughts on services we get is subjective. But this one hurt us badly financially and emotionally. We bought our wedding band and ring from Browns. We bought them as white gold. After wearing very carefully avoiding water etc, the rings started to show gold colour underneath. We took them to the store. The sales assistant told us, they can fix it by polishing in the store which they did. The rings were looking white again. And she said if it happens again they can send to the studio for rhodium polish but we need to pay £60. After 2 months rings were tarnished again. As we didn't want to visit the store every couple of months, we contacted the head office by email asked for a refund. But when we checked small prints on the receipts we realised they work with South African laws! "Any dispute that may arise between you and BROWNS will be subject to prevailing SOUTH AFRICAN LAWS" The person from the head office blamed me first. She said I might have contacted with pool water, sea water or cream etc. I was looking after my £2300 rings like my babies. Because they are expensive and sentimentally valuable. Never used in water. I should be able to use in water anyway. And then she said it's a natural process of white gold they tarnish in time. I did my research and found out that their white gold is only rhodium plated not mix of palladium and platinum or any other metal that makes the rings white gold. Long story short, They didn't make a refund instead they asked for more money to exchange with platinum set. If you pay a lot of money for your wedding rings you want them last forever and they should last forever not two months. My mum has white gold wedding ring she’s been using for over 30 years. Never visited the store to polish since she got it. If this is normal process of Brown’s white gold jewellery, they should inform their customer who pay thousands for their rings. My silver rings looks way better than these rings. I recommend Hatton Garden that is London’s jewellery quarter with hundreds of jewellery shops for diamond jewellery, watches and affordable luxury.

We purchased our wedding bands last month from BROWNS. We explained what we wanted, the engraving and they also measured our fingers to get our sizes. After waiting 2-3 weeks, my ring was too big and had no engraving so we had to send it off again for resizing and engraving. After waiting another 2 weeks it was still too big and I had to pay a charge of £60 for another resizing. When the ring came back another 2 weeks later, it was the correct size but they mad e a mistake on the engraving (spelt my partners name incorrectly). We had to wait for another 2-3 weeks to get this back. Fast forward last week when we finally got married, I noticed one of the diamonds on my ring had gone yellow. This was very worrying considering I had only just been wearing it for 2-3 days. I took it to the shop for it to get looked at and they had no idea what it could be. They cleaned it but still no luck. They advised to send my ring to the lab to get it looked at and again another 2 weeks wait. They had the cheek of charging £60 which we absolutely refused to pay considering the ring was barely worn. Can’t believe the quality of the ring is absolutely shocking considering we spent SO Much money on them. Definitely wouldn’t NOT recommend

Purchased our wedding ring from here. Saw a ring we liked in white gold, and asked them to make it in yellow gold with white gold accents. We had an issue with a diamond coming out. They were EXTREMELY professional in handling the issue and sorted it all out FOC. We have since dropped in multiple times as we are passing to chat to the lady who sold us and feel part of their family. Very warm welcoming atmosphere and not a high pressure sales driven organisation. Just genuinely good people with excellent service and quality jewelry. Keep it up!

Very unhappy. A diamond fell off my wedding ring - did not expect a diamond to fall off from a place who claim to sell a “high quality” product. but bought rings from Gemporia for a fraction of a cost with much better quality!! Whilst there, another customer with the same problem popped in. Evidently a known problem for this company. Have told everyone I know not to buy from this company, and have asked some social media influencers to warn their followers to not make the same mistake as we did buying a piece of jewellery from this company

I can't recommend Browns enough. I had gone to the Ernest Jones next door to Browns, bought a ring, got told it needed 3 months to go to the USA to be resized. 4 months later nothing had arrived, so I refunded it. I went to Browns instead, and I left with the perfect ring. Kimberly helped me and she was fantastic. Really strong rapport, listened to what I needed and then showed me several options, among which there were about 3 that I loved. I just wish they offered in-store insurance options like Ernest Jones did.

I bought a beautiful solitaire diamond ring from Browns store in Westfield White City last month. I have to say i was very cautious after reading some of the reviews and i am very pleased to say that i was very happy with the service i received from Despina and Gavin the manager. The customer service was brilliant, all my questions were answered and my ring was re sized and returned within a week. I absolutely love my ring and would definitely purchase other diamond jewellery from them in the future.

Very welcoming place to be at, nice clean, the jewellery are exposed in comfort, and the most important thing is the staff Kim is the one you look for what a nice lady, I came in with my daughter to buy a gift for my wife and yes we did it, Kim was knowledgable and put us at ease all the time of choosing our piece, they do fitting to size in 2 weeks and engraving for free. Liked this shop and will be my 1 choice if it come to jewelleries! Big thanks to Kim and the staff there.

Lovely selection of rings, I picked my engagement ring an oval Morganite with Diamonds around it with a rose gold band (think Princess Diana ring but pink instead of blue). Staff were very helpful & lovely. Diana was very helpful & patient as I came in a few times before I got my engagement ring, and she had been emailing my fiancée back and forth the last few weeks to make sure it was perfect, I love my ring. Thank you again.

I bought a beautiful ring from Browns last month (my fiancée absolutely loved it!). I came in many times as I was a bit uncertain about which ring I wanted to buy - but they were super patient each time and gave me tons of good advice and walked me through each step of the process. They were even flexible to my needs and we extremely professional throughout. I'll definitely be back, even if it's just to stop by and say hello.

They have lovely engagement and wedding rings. Both of my rings are from here - what a lovely collection. Also my hubby's ring is from Browns. We bought our rings like a year before our wedding, and when we wanted to engrave it, even if they changed the policy for it I was able to get it included. Although for my engagement ring I didn't get the free engrave, even if they told us it's will be valid even after few years.

Great service with a personal touch. Always friendly and truly care for their customers long term, make you feel special in the store ... if something goes wrong with the ring they fix it no questions asked ... every time we visit the store they offer to clean the ring for free and you have the option to Upgrade at any time and just pay the difference ... feel like I will be a customer for life

Ramona looked after us so well, she was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the company and jewelry care, all without being pushy. A great place to buy high quality hand crafted jewellery. Prices are a bit higher than usual but the service makes up for it. Our Man Gavin helped us to pick the right ring and his friendly and helpful personality made us feel welcome and well looked after.
