You know, I have not even been to this dentist yet with my grandson, but while on the phone with there very professional and kind hearted Assistant and the Office Manager I feel that we have found our new home for my grandson after moving here 3 years ago from Tallahassee so I felt I needed to leave an early review. I cannot wait to meet this compassionate, professional and just felt so down to earth that they made me feel they had put their selves in my shoes. Putting someone at ease takes special people and I cannot wait to meet these wonderful ladies, Our appointment is June 21st at 1:00, and if Google will allow me to leave another review after the visit I will be happy to confirm what I already know .... that I was right on the money, I will. In my heart I feel there are people here that genuinely care about what they are doing and the individuals they serve. are treated like individuals and not just feeling like your the cow in line waiting to be branded. 06/23 - First appoint..appointment... Well technically not we have one scheduled for July 21st. However, having my mind going and 10000 different directions we came a month early these people were able to laugh with me because it was quite hilarious not at me, I knew this was gonna be a wonderful place I just didn't find out how wonderful until we got here today June 23rd 2022 for my son's cleaning and evaluation. I love this place. The staff and the ambience in the building puts you at such ease. The staff is friendly professional down-to-Earth, But I found their best and most important quality of all was the fact that they genuinely care about what they do. I have not ever felt so comfortable to have my son go to a new dentist as I have been at BRUSHES AND BRACKETS. My son had a cleaning this morning 06/23 and they know I live a good way out and instead of me having to turn around and come back in a week or 2 for fillings they went ahead and squeezed us in. They were taking into consideration that we live a good distance from them and decided to go ahead and do it today so that we wouldn't have to come back until our next cleaning visit exclaiming visit. So if anybody is looking to be treated like more than just a number you need to come to Brushes and Brackets because to them you're flesh and blood just like they are and to me that means everything. I cannot thank them enough for putting me and my son at total ease after the experiences we had at other local dentist... This is home for me and my family. Soon as my insurance kicks in I will have a new dentist. I can't say enough about them they are magnificent, awesome, Is empathetic, compassionate, Down-to-earth while still maintaining the utmost professionalism you would ever want in a place. Thank you.....

I used to love this place when I first started coming here about 10 years ago, back when the name was Pediatric Smiles. Unfortunately, it isn't the same and I tried to give them a chance. We loved Dr. Wall, but it seems we never see her when we go. When it comes to businesses I use the 3 strikes, then out, rule. 1st strike: they punctured my daughter's jaw with a dental tool causing us a trip to the emergency room (bc it was on a Sunday when the swelling was obvious and painful) that costs me $350. 2nd strike: my daughter has a chipped tooth. The dentist never even mentioned it. Why isn't that a question during your exam? As a dentist, that injury should have been something you were curious about or concerned about, in the least. 3rd strike: My daughter had a 9am appt. We arrived at 8:45 bc I believe in being early. They didn't call her back until 9:36, after I pitched a fit that they were skipping over her and requested that they just give me her records to go to another dentist. Like I said, I used to love this place. I was driving from the Westside of town to the Northside, about 25 minutes, just to come here. Unfortunately, I will be changing all 3 of my kids to a different Pediatric dentist office. I hear there is a really good one in Oakleaf.

Can’t say I was impressed actually I was disappointed in my short time with Brushes & Brackets if I could leave any advice would be to be more structured , pay people on time and be more professional and not to mention hire people according to the position they apply for ‍♀️that’s the main thing with this office Be more organized business it does matter it represents everyone in there and I’ll leave it right there. And if my paycheck has not been mailed out on Friday as it was stated to me and I’ll definitely be following up with the labor board At that point it would be considered retaliation because I decided to go with another company that was a lot more structured and pays people on time and communicates that as well so we’ll see how it goes I will definitely follow up with a follow up review

I normal rate this office a 5 out of 5. And I was willing to drive over 35mins just to go to this office because of Dr. Tanya Wall. Well, I will not be returning and I will not be referring anyone to this office. The staff has been very rude since December 2021. They stated that the new rule is... A Parent is NOT allowed back with their child any longer (regardless of age) and I am suppose to just send my child into an office by himself. I am sorry but I refuse to do that for several reasons and here are the biggest two. 1. He is a MINOR 2. Anything could happen!!!!! Just because staff is trained a certain way does not mean EVERYONE follows the rules. I am very disappointed in this practice. Also, I have a feeling I am not the only parent who feels like this is a ridiculous new rule!

Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience i’ve ever had. From the first day I visited this office I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family. Nevertheless, my teeth have been in perfect condition since visiting here for the past 6 years. Conveniently located in downtown near highway entrance/exits, free parking, AND knowledgeable, friendly, personable dentists/hygienists — highly recommend! Every time I am seen their, I never have any complaints. I have had never had any discomfort ever with any procedure. They do there best, always ask are U ok. They definitely want you comfortable, and not to hurt u. I definitely recommend this dentist office for your kids, and even you. One of the best dentist offices I have found. Very organized and clean also!!!

Awful experience! we had an appointment this morning and showed up to them informing me that they will no longer accept my son's insurance by the end of next month. I set this appointment over two months ago, my son has special needs and requires certain accommodations they were aware of before scheduling this appointment. I spoke with someone in the office last week to verify his appointment and she never mentioned they have broken their contract with the insurance company and will no longer take it. I was offered to continue with the appointment, and they will provide a release to take with us to his next provider. Someone could have simply called and notified us and saved us the time(1 hour drive) and money(missed work) of this decision. Very inconsiderate!!!

I recommend this place to all parents for their children. As a parent, I was blown away by the dental staff. The staff is amazing. Their communication with our son was awesome. I am scheduling my appointment at this dentist office. They also see adults. Their expertise is another level. They treat everyone with respect and they are very humble. My son had to have serious work done and he never felt any crazy pain. He didn't shed one tear. He's only four and they didn't even have to put him to sleep. He was very comfortable and they only used laughing gas. I sat in the room the entire time talking with the doctor from time to time. This is an excellent place to bring your child.

My sons appointment was at 1100 am. Got there 15 minutes before his appointment. They didn’t call him back til 1130 and when he was called I asked the lady how long was it going to take, she replied well I just called him two seconds ago so is he coming or not. If I could give the customer service a -100 I would. Then the office manager wants to get an attitude because I was giving the dental assistant the same energy she was giving out. Worst experience ever. You can’t treat people with disrespect and then think I will give my child care to you. Will never go here again.

My son has special needs and turned 22 years old so we had to find a new dentist to work with him. The appointment went well! Ms. Betzalis was fantastic with my son. She took all of the X-rays which can be a behavior issue but not today. She did a Wonderful job with my son letting him know what she was doing. They also let my oldest son go to the back to help my youngest son stay calm. We only got the X-rays done but now we have them so we can set up a plan for taking care of his teeth going forward. Great Visit! Thank you!

Went to Brushes and Brackets today with my son and it was amazing. This is my first time being treated here and the staff was super nice from check in to checking out. My son's 2nd time here, first time wasn't a success (2 yrs old) but they were patient with him regardless. His second time was phenomenal. He was super excited and his hygienist was fun and made the process easy. Definitely coming back. I've found a new dental home. Thank you!

If you are looking for the best orthodontist in the Jacksonville airport area, look no further. The personnel here is Extremely friendly, Pleasant, and very helpful. My daughter came here for braces and have loved every step of the process. The hygienists are also very nice, and and provides helpful tips in maintaining your braces. They offer a variety of elastic band colors too, my daughter love the excitement of picking new colors..

My kids are comfortable here. The staff is extremely good about trying to make things go smoothly and about making it a comfortable experience. They are very friendly and respectful. I have always been given details about a treatment plan upfront and have never had any surprise issues come up. I have been made aware of all costs associated with the treatment plans in advance also. Thank you pediatric smiles!!!!!

The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating! Took my son in for a cleaning, found out he needed a procedure done. He was nervous about the procedure (and so was I!) but the entire staff was so kind and explained everything to both of us. They are up front with the cost of everything. You never have to guess what anything is going to cost! 10/10 recommend Brushes and Brackets Dental Studio for your kiddos.

My daughter, 5, enjoyed her experience from start to finish. My son, 3, leaned back and watched cartoons the whole time he was getting his teeth cleaned. They are so gentle and kind with their patients and I couldn’t have found a better dental office for my children. My children are not scared of the dentist and actually look forward to returning. Took my daughter. Our first experience was great. Staff that looked her mouth were patient and understanding and explained things to me clearly before leaving. Front staff at desk seemed to be bothered by questions and didn't greet when walking in the door. I will definitely be returning for another visit. They handled my screaming baby better than I thought was possible.

I was in search of a good pediatric dentist for my 2 year old bottle sucking son. I love the feel of Pediatric Smiles the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming and staff were very friendly. He was a little hesitant and resistant as any 2 year old would be. However, the staff was gentle (overly to me) but absolutely great. I would definitely recommend Pediatric smiles.

My daughter had her first dentist appointment today, and of course being a first time mom, I was very nervous. But this staff is the best, most patient, and kind staff I’ve ever encountered. They lady who answered was nice but the company Should probably update to inform other you no longer accept medicare/Medicaid.. it’s already hard enough trying to find a dentist office for the little one i clicked on this one because it said you all accepted Medicaid/medicare. Even having regular insurance you may not have the right one pretty frustrating

Conservative when needed and always with patient care in mind. They also see adults and have orthodontist in office!

Best pediatric dentist in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Walls and her team are extremely patient with children and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them! My son has been here since he was 3 and he’s 12 now. They have a new name but the treatment and quality of care your children will receive remains the same!

I love the orthodontist team and the dentist and hygienist, but I believe the office manager can come across a bit abrasive at times, and always seems rushedduring her encounters. Over all my childrens care with the staff in theback has been exceptional.would refer just for that alone.

This place is great and have dental professionals that know what they are doing. The hygienist is the best in town and will get your teeth clean out. It’s like a family here and they treat you like your part of it. Highly consider if you need a dental office.
