DO NOT GO HERE! (Side note: I have been to this restaurant previously; however, I had a totally different experience from my recent visit). First of all, once I placed my order at this place yesterday, I proceeded to show them my military ID to receive the military discount (the same discount they gave me on my last visit) and the cashier told me, "we can not take your ID for the discount because it's not yours." The cashier was referring to the fact that I have a MILITARY dependent ID; however, if they took it last time, I am not sure why this time is different AND why can I not use my dependent military ID because a military ID is a military ID. Furthermore, I paid for the taco plate but I was surprised that it was $11. Then, I waited for while for my food (longer than I expected considering that I am a GSU student trying to grab a quick bite to eat in between classes). The food finally came out after a while and it was two MINI tacos and a small quart sized container of rice and beans. I was sooo upset because I essentially wasted TIME and MONEY and it was definitely not what I expected. I did not have the time or energy to complain to the manager; however, I hope they find this review and fix some things in their establishment and I hope this review can allow potential customers to save their time and money and NOT eat here. Thanks!

This is one of the HEALTHIEST breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. It’s from their old menu and it essentially has a thin layer of black beans, plantain, and finely chopped veggies. It kept me full and inspired me to explore my breakfast sandwich opens. Egg, cheese, meat and dairy are not the only ingredients for a delicious morning sandwich. I don’t think the coffee here is worth the price. But if you’re a tourist, you probably won’t mind it. If you know you’ll be staying in Downtown ATL when you visit, this is a place you’ll probably want to walk to and enjoy early in the morning before other excursions. —— FAQS —— Parking? There’s no parking in front. Park in the lot across the street and keep an eye on your car so that it doesn’t get ticketed/booted/towed. How did I discover this restaurant? An old co-worked posted a picture of her food on her Instagram story and I asked her where did she get it from.

I've now been here twice over the years, and both times the food has been excellent: fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, presented nicely. Some recommendations/things to note: 1. I wonder why they don't have more space inside and table service? It's quite an interesting space in there, as I recall. 2. The food was slow to emerge. Maybe it was a blip. But I'm not sure how a quesadilla and a couple of tacos takes 20+ minutes at lunchtime. 3. The portions were just a little on the small side for $15 each. I am mindful of the owner's comments on here and I get it and I sympathize. But still. Why not make the rice and beans bigger? That's a cheap way of filling out the portions. 4. Did I mention that the food was excellent (special mention for the homemade corn tortillas)? And so was the friendly person at the cash register.

I found this place randomly, was at the entrance and Jeannette (the owner) came with a big smile and welcome. She made me feel at home not only with her hospitality but their delicious pupusas (try “Revuelta”). Food is really fresh and the staff is very friendly (and bilingual). If you are in Atlanta and want to get some good Latin bites, this is the place you should go. If you are a student with a low budget but still want to have healthy options, Jeannette and Ken will treat you like a son/daughter. RATIONALE: "The most important matter in a restaurant is a FEEL not a LOOK. You can get to the best Restaurant in the world and have the best food but if you don't feel comfortable within that environment, you'll never enjoy it." Marco Pierre White I review #1 Environment #2 Service #3 Food. My five stars ussually go to places that made me feel at home.

Smiling, soft-spoken service. I ordered Pupusas con queso y Jalapeno, which was not on the menu but they made it for me. The atmosphere of the place hugs you and keeps you in a happy place. The masa was well prepared the filling plentiful, the tortilla chips fresh, and the cucumber water subtle and refreshing. The main complaint was the teaspoon full of curtido. Teaspoon? This was less than what I pick out of my teeth after a legitimate meal of Pupusas. Pupusas can be a bit dry but with some nice sauce and slaw it can be the perfect meal. This was pathetic. The Pupusas were good but even those were small and why I ate Pupusas around the country and settled on 2 as a meal, here I would have needed 3. That said, this Pupusas cost nearly twice as much as I usually pay.

Pupuseria! Wonderful flavors! Fresh and amazing guava pastries. I found this restaurant looking for pupusas and thought, "this is in the city it can't be that good". I decided to try it anyway based on the rating. I'm glad I did. The location is great! My toddler loved the rice and beans, I loved the pupusas and pastries and my husband enjoyed his vegetarian plate with an Horchata coffee. We'll be back real soon. 5 stars So happy we tried it

I really enjoyed the pupusas that I had. I got one that had like cactus and cheese inside and the other was a red adobo chicken. Both of them were really delicious. The textures the flavors and the cheesiness were all really delightful. The lady who worked the window was nice and helpful helping me navigate the menu. I got there right before closing and she was still really patient with me. The rest of the menu looks delicious so I'll definitely be coming back.

Ha no idea what pupusas were, now I’m going to have to figure out how to come here more often to have them. This is a great example of staying focus in their quality, and offering items that are unique and delicious. Their coffee is on point as well. Definitely glad I stopped to try something new. The staff was excellent, and provided more details when asked to describe their food and drink options.

Interesting attempt at pupusas in the side of a mall. They understand what they are doing, altho the atmosphere does not make you think pupusas at all. If you've never had pupusas, this is a great place to start.

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it! Good food. I recommend the typical salvadoran breakfast that comes with eggs, rice and beans mix called casamiento, fried plantains, avocado, cream, salvadoran hand corn tortilla and salvadoran hard aged cheese. Their coffee is da bomb. They were courteous, friendly and attentive. You gotta try!!!!!!

This place is bussin!!! Got a chorizo pupusa and it’s soo good. Had to wait for it inside because of the rain and it was the cutest little place. The lady at the window was literally so nice to me because I forgot my wallet and had to run back home and when I returned they had already made me my coffee.

I was there twice. The first time I gave it 5 stars, the second time - 2, so the overall rating is 3) The first time I drunk coffee there, the second time I desired to eat. While coffee and deserts are amazing, I cannot say the same for the food: sizes are small, price is expensive, and there is no restroom to wash your hands.

The food was delicious. I've never had a puppusa before and I'm glad I got the chance to try it. The place was slammed pack and there was little sitting area. The place was obviously popular. My boyfriend and I ordered the puppusas plate. I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy. I ordered a hot chocolate (they don't have Mexican hot chocolate unfortunately) that was decent. I also ordered this pastry that had cheese in it, and I cannot remember the name for the life of me. It was a quick in and out for me.

Great locally owned spot! Healthy, vegan and gluten free options abound. Also they have great coffee. They offer an assortment of Latin American sodas as well. It is also a nice place to study or work. They have free WiFi and is usually Very cozy.

We had a fantastic breakfast at Buenos Dias Cafe today in Downtown. Very happy they're open on Saturdays. Pupusas and tacos with eggs and black beans and maduros. And great cafe con leche. If you're a fan of hot sauce, they have a good selection.

  • Mari York

We had vegan options, pupusas and black beans and planting. The combination of sauce and pickled cabbage with lupus’s is so perfect! Their Hibiscus and Tamarindo juices are the best ones we have ever had, must try! And the service is wonderful!

  • Princes Freeman

Guess how much this came up to? A) 3 bucks B) 8 bucks of C) free. Total cost was eight dollars which does not include a beverage. I'm not spending that amount for just one taco and a scoop of mixed rice and beans ever again. This has truly

I don't often write reviews and feel bad writing a negative one, but we were a bit disappointed by our visit today. My partner's Cuban sandwich was underwhelming, with a small amount of meat and nothing else. My cold brew coffee was weak

If you are expecting authentic Latin American coffee go somewhere else. my expensive $4.75 cortadito tasted like sewage water, they don't know how to pull a decent espresso as it was burnt tasting and it was way too sweet. Cashier

Tried this place after googling vegan breakfast options near me and WOW. I tried the quinoa breakfast bowl and it was really good!! I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes. Service was great and very friendly as well

The food was amazing and so was the customer service. We were able to find parking easily but the vegan food truck nearby was closed at the time. We got the breakfast nachos and the Cuban sandwich.

  • Tuni Acosta

Awesome customer service! They remember my name when I come in and are always extremely friendly. The pupusas are amazing, the tamales are good and fresh daily juice is really good also.

  • Elizabeth Aviña

Super great food. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. A bit pricey but relative considering the location. Friendly service. Be prepared to wait if dining during lunch rush.

  • Karla Michelle

This place has great food. The pupusas are amazing, fresh & delicious...!!! Owners are very attentive and very nice, they take the time to interact with all customers.

  • Rachel Lehmann

The food is a 7/10, but the service, price, and atmosphere are 8/10. I always feel great after I eat here. Rare to kind vegan/healthy options downtown.
