Unfortunately I can't give less than 1 star. Not sure who is at fault however Bunnings had arranged delivery for 25m2 of turf. We have waited all morning for a delivery of turf that we stressed needed to be delivered Friday afternoon or well before midday Saturday as we have a family event to attend Saturday midday onwards. The delivery was scheduled as a priority am delivery for Saturday morning however it is now 2:33pm and still no turf. I contacted the store and was sent to 4 different staff members before anyone could help me with a simple enquiry. Apparently the delivery company I assume the turf supplier could only deliver in the afternoon. So now out of pocket as we had a trade hired for the this morning who I sent home after 4hours the top soil is out ready, hopefully the rain won't wash it away now as we won't get it down. We cancelled the family lunch that now could have attended as the turf us still not here. We are heading out shortly again for and won't be home for when it arrives. The turf will now sit on a pallet overnight when the supplier stressed to lay it ASAP. The topsoil may or may not be there tomorrow so not sure if we can even lay it down Sunday now. Not good enough really we have wasted the whole day and $$$.

Good store, plenty of goodies for any member of the family.Staff are friendly and will stop for a chat or can point you in the right direction for what you are looking for.Staff are knowledgeable and always have a helpful smile.Restrooms are clean and tidy. There is a little cafe where you can sit and have a sandwich and latte to chat with family or friends.Checkouts are plenty so your purchases are taken care of very quickly.Lots of carpark so no issues with finding a spot for the car.Wheelchair access is available into the store and there are plenty of spots for handicap parking. The entrances in and out of the store are wide and make getting out onto the main roads very easy.If you head down on the weekends you can treat the family to a sausage sizzle.Do yourself and the family a favour and head down for a look even if it's just to walk around the garden center and enjoy the lovely blooms and their perfumes.

Due to Covid regulations for businesses from the 23rd of November I had to source masks and glasses to ensure we met Covid safe practices for staff and clients. As per what happens in a pandemic there was a shortage of both masks and glasses. I managed to find some at Bunnings Victor Harbor and they said that there was more stock at Seaford. I was in a rush so organised click and collect. I made it to the store at 5.00pm were I was told we are shut, I explained my situation and that click and collect was there and would take 1 minute to hand over as it was already paid for. I was again told no we are shut, I said please have some compassion I cannot open without the equipment I was told bad luck we are shut. The attitude was absolutely disgusting extremely unbelievable and unfortunate that they had no willingness to assist someone in a moment of need. Clearly getting out the door is more important.

As someone who works in retail, I often wonder how some of the staff at Bunnings stores actually get a job in retail. After checking online to see if the product was available I went out of my way to go to the store. Rolled in and hit the greeter up. She had some idea and pointed me I the right direction. Then I met Tom, the first mouth breather who made me wonder how he actually passed and interview let alone found the store. After getting tired of wasting my time I asked him to point me in the right direction in the hope I might find it myself. That's where I met Thomas who then looked on his store phone and proceeded to tell me it wasn't in stock. So I went back to my car grabbed my phone, looked the product up again only to be told it was in stock. Then I went back and hit the greeter up and she found someone competent who found it within 5 mins. How do these people pass job interviews ffs.

See comments on The trade centre . The Bunnings at Seaford four lady staff members don't deserve quarter of a star ! Don't shop here if you don't need too . Go to another Bunnings if you need items why the virus is around as the women staff members on from 5pm to 7pm last night don't want you in the shop and will make it very clear to you that you are not welcome .. myself and my friend were the only shoppers in there last night and we remained a fair distance away from the staff . You would think with all the loss of jobs !That the people that work here would be Happy to be working and treat customers with respect. There was one male staff member packing a shelf. He was excellent. So to him thank you for not making myself and my friend unwelcome!

I've never experienced a worker so dedicated & helpful towards a customer/dad. workers name JORDAN, tats on his arm's. I had my 2 daughters with me, while my misses was at work. they were just being kids acting silly & struggling to grab what was needed for a job site then to unload my truck of timber to be cut to size to help me out. In 20 years of me going to bunnings, I have never had dedicated worker that's actually willing to help & very knowledge able. he is someone who I would employ myself being a business man. bunnings you have a very valuable employer. I am the owner of pinnacle concrete constructions. if I had a chance I'd take him from your company.

Paint section SUCKS. Rang the bell twice, waited aaaages. Was watching the bathrooms crew chatting away. Figured they were seperate to the paint section. Nope, after five minutes i was spotted and the lady came over. When i told her what i needed she was annoyed because it was on the shelf and i could have found it myself. Whatever happened to helping a customer? Lady had dark hair and tattoos. Went right back over once he was done to continue her gossip sesh. Wish i could be paid to just stand around and chat at work, get annoyed with customers n stuff. Not like she is there to a job or anything. Next time ill go to mitre 10. Very poor service.

Once again, go looking for a product ---- out of stock (in soil pH tester) Swinging sprinkler ----- no prices. Staff are always polite and helpful. I have in the past resolved to stop going into this store but circumstances see me forced back there. Please don't contact me site manager, just please try to understand the disappointment that customers have to put up with. How about a search screen at the entrance enabling us to check for product before going inside? Ah but then we wouldn't be tempted to buy other items we didn't especially intend to buy!⁸

  • Patricia Sutton

My husband and I went to Bunnings this morning to get ideas as to what plants to buy for screening. Luke was very helpful and had great knowledge of would suit us being close to the beach. Eventually we ended up getting 2 trolleys loaded with everything we needed. We weren’t planning to purchase anything just looking but with Luke’s great customer service it was easy for us to actually buy the plants and pots and organised delivery for us. Thank you Luke for taking the time to help us much appreciated! Cheers from Pat and Mark.

I recently purchased a Kaboodle kitchen and Nick was fantastic. I went in armed with my plan layout and instead of being told to go back home and fill in the order book with everything that I would need (inc hinges etc which I was advised to do from another store) he went above and beyond to advise what I would need, how many I would need and was so friendly and polite. If you ever need Kaboodle kitchen advice he is the gentleman to seek out! Brilliant customer service, always had a smile and made my day so much easier!

  • Kath Jean

Whilst there have been delivery issues re: inventory report availability and delivery times, Nicole and Nick have been fantastic but through the whole experience, Jess has SHONE THROUGH, as an example of how I would, not only like to be treated, but how I would treat others! She is a total LEGEND, and is more THAN DESERVING of your BUNNINGS HAMMER BADGE! ... Please make sure Jess gets recognized for her outstanding service to me, and I am sure, many others! Regards, Kath

During the last 12 months, this store deserved to be recognised as one of the best-managed throughout the pandemic. They have gone to great lengths to ensure the public safety and despite some employees thinking herd immunity was the better way to go (lol), the management did the right thing and ensured a safe and pleasant shopping experience. Th store is well known for the reputation of friendship and can do attitude. Well done Seaford Bunnings,

Shocking service in paint 1 person on counter and 4 customers, I needed spray paint and so asked someone at front service counter (counted 3 not serving) no one from front service area would assist I am presuming it is hard to open the pad lock to grab the spray paint for me, felt very sorry for man working behind counter in paint shame on you bunnings where's the team work and maybe a couple of extra staff on ...... it's the week end ..... your busy

  • Peder Van Loewe

Like all Bunnings stores, they are well laid out, which makes it so easy to get what you need quickly. At the same time, it's always worth having a browse around cause you just don't know what you might find. Weekly/monthly specials are on display and the staff are always ready to help you solve your project problem. There range of gardening requirements if thorough and extensive and always have a great array of seasonal flowers and vegetable seedlings.

  • Chris

Nick and Mark in the paint department were very helpful. We were trying to match an old colour which as it turned out was near impossible as the original paint was tinted into the incorrect base (I didn't realise this til after.....the label on the can said 'Natural white' but it was actually a can of 'Antique White USA') but it ended well and we like the colour better. Only downside is that now we prob have to paint the whole house....yay....

  • Andrew Doecke

Love bunnings The coffee shop and array of items One thing is the crossing from the main door to the eastern car park .when you cross from the building to the safety Island it has a ramp on the building side ut on the car park side it has drop of edge. I've seen so many people loose there load going of that edge with a trolley it should have a ramp exactly the same as other side Just my thoughts. It's an accident waiting to happen

  • Jacki Schultz

Had the pleasure of dealing with Emma in the paint department today. Outstanding customer service, extremely helpful and certainly likes and takes her job seriously. She has the perfect "people person" personality. Was just nice to have that customer service that a lot lack these days. Thank you Emma, you made my day a lot brighter. * No, I'm not a family member and I don't know of her other than today.

  • Ken Jam

Female on garden exit door needs training in mannerism not act agressive manner to customer who was just geeting trolley as this exit was were the only spare trolleys were the others were scattered around the car park as no staff bothered to collect them Worst Bunnings I have been too in Australia my company is a trade pass member Will never allow my staff to get anything from this store evet

  • My journey By Bew

Bunnings has a great variety of stock for everyones needs but some of the service leaves a lot to be desired. To be fair there are some who are very friendly and go out if their way to help but it only takes a few to ruin the shopping experience. All customers should be treated equally as well, I say this as I find some customers seem to get preferential treatment whilst others are ignored.

  • Barry B

10 days ago I attended in person at the special order desk and asked a question regarding the outdoor blinds. Salesman was going to contact the manufacturer and call me back. 10 days on, nothing. I decided to call. I requested the special orders and my call bounced back 4 times in 24 minutes on the line with no response from special orders. Extremely poor CS. I gave up, I'll go elsewhere.

  • Rex Dave Modra

Went there to look at playground equipment. So disappointing. The only one on display they don’t sell anymore. Expect you to pay thousands and buy off a single photo. Asked if they could tell me which stores display them but that was too hard. Told me to try them all myself. So lazy, so incompetent. Clearly service means nothing now they’ve squeezed out all the smaller traders.

  • Patricia Thomson

Seaford a great store close to home. Its smaller than the Noarlunga store but seems to have most of the same things but if they don't the Noarlunga store is just down the Southern expressway. So lucky to have 2 friendly, clean & extremely well organised Bunnings near us. One of my favourite places to just get lost in, always find what I want plus new " treasure" !

  • Robert Dick

Absolutely atrocious, first employee in outdoor dept was excellent, however in the tool shop and Trade desk, we waited at least a half hour in each section to be attended to, with numerous staff standing around looking all dumb and all, except for Harry, who was the only helpful staff member. Heaven forbid what they'll all be like with the Christmas rush.

  • Hamish Iv

Great Store. Very helpful staff Even though it's only a small Bunnings compared to others it still has a great rang of products. Basic timber range. All the plants I need considering I grow mostly weeds. I am working on improving my garden. They have a great outdoor and BBQ section. I found new BBQ grill I needed. We check it out. Easy parking usually.

  • John Vales

Absolutely disgusting service today. After asking for help to lift heavy objects on to a ute a senior was ignored and dodged by staff. What made it more infuriating was the fact that someone served after me got help with a forklift right next to me by 2 staff members! What's going on bunning?. Please employ people who care about their customers

  • Suzanne Hastwell

I painted this Bunnings inspired painting last Friday night. I have nominated the McLaren Flat Primary School to receive a $200 voucher if I happened to win the competition. So anyone from the school or the local area that would like to get the school this voucher, please vote for my painting tomorrow between 9 - 12noon. Thanks in advance

  • Natasha Farley

After a year and a half of taking my beautiful staffy pup shopping there I was told tonight under new management he’s not allowed back unless he has a muzzle or in a trolley. We have spent thousands there but definitely won’t be back now. Our staffy boy became apart of the furniture there. He was Mr popular by name with all staff

  • Danny Thompson-Hill

Staff are friendly enough but I have NEVER been to this Bunnings store when they have had all items I'm looking for, in stock. Like never. I've wasted more hours travelling to this store and searching for stock that doesnt exist than I've had hot meals. Whoever is the stock manager either needs glasses or to learn basic math.

  • Bob McKinlay

Bunnings is always good . I recently went to the trade centre in Seaford I asked the Gentleman's name that serve me , his service was outstanding his name was Ben Oakley! He gets a 10 out of 10 from me.If management reads this review I hope they pass it on to Ben. Very polite and knowledgeable. …

  • Giselle Robin

This was the second time I visited Bunnings in Seaford. The items I planned to buy were not in stock. It was the last day before winter I intended to plant. Thanks to July's exceptional knowledge of plants and stock we found drought resistant shrubs and groundcover to fill my plans. Thank you, July

  • james Hutchinson

Very poor customer service, the stuff don’t have any knowledge. Why the worker was trying to help me they were eating food in my ear. Once i finally got to the check out an old lady serving me kept spitting why talking to me. Very very poor quality store never going back to Seaford Bunnings again.

  • Donna Brown

I visite Bunnings so often that I often say "I wish I had shares in these stores" Most times there is a Welcome and a pleasant smile at the entrance. I do tend to find most things i am looking for at one of the Bunnings stores also good advice from their staff. Well done Bunnings.

  • Helen Lush

Excellent customer service!! The gentleman in the paint section was fabulously helpful....I so appreciated his explanation and advice. I also needed some plastic for cafe blinds, and the young man who assisted was also hugely helpful. It is a pleasure shopping in this store

  • Franz Laaber

Got tulips in a plant pot from a friend and they were dead after 2 days. Brought them back to Bunnings and they COULD NOT help me without a receipt although the barcode sticker clearly shows the tulips are from Bunnings. Don't buy any presents (reciept) from Bunnings!

  • Trevor Crawford

Big thank you to Bunnings Seaford, amazing customer service, I had a faulty powerboard and couldn't find my receipt, However Roxanne in the service department was fantastic, she was so friendly, helpful and polite she went out of her way to help me, got it exchanged.

  • Michael

Love Bunnings great products, prices etc, but shopping at Seaford the other day waited over 10 mins in line at checkout due to no other checkouts being open even tho there were three staff members chatting at returns desk. Self serve was also closed.

  • Pippa

Great variety plants outdoor furniture and DIY projects and supplies, cafe, friendly people, good helpful advice and service when you need it, especially for your home projects etc. If it's not in stock they will check to see if any more coming in.

  • Jessie Renee

Always great here. It's like an outing with my daughter. She loves pushing a mini trolley around, playing in the playground, the free kids workshops are great, and the babychinos are free. Oh, and there's hardware and stuff too I guess.... ;)

  • Justin Bradstreet

Ordered decent batteries and they showed in stock. Got email today while on my way to collect to say they don't have them in stock and offered an inferior alternative :( for 25% more than Kmart sell them. Seriously... sort the systems out.

  • Bob Markcrow

Busy as expected for a Saturday with many people taking advantage of the great weather we have. Sausage sizzle was there as usual and happy friendly staff. Good to see so many dogs in the store. Makes for a great shopping experience.

  • Michael Cotton

I was able to purchase exactly what I needed. Friendly staff on the checkout and the entrance. It took me no time at all to complete my purchase. It took me a few moments to orientate myself to a slightly different layout.

  • x “GutterRat” x

By far my favourite Bunnings to go to. Take my dog all the time and the staff and vibe is much nicer compared to other Bunnings stores - particularly noarlunga. The lady at the cafe makes great coffees at Seaford too! :)

  • Helen Freer

how can you not love Bunnings I find the staff in there are very helpful if you want anything just ask anyone and they will direct you where you need to go the garden centre in there is so good yes highly recommended

  • Peter Smithson

Placed an order over the phone. Went into the store on the same day to the relevant department. Asked a friendly staff member who directed me to a trolley with my name on it ready to pick up. Great service.

  • Julie Joy

Morgan served us today and was unbelievably helpful! We wanted info on painting our kitchen bench-tops. She led us through the whole process and we really appreciated it. Off now to renovate our kitchen!

  • Superangel

the shop is good but the worker women from the plant were talking to much than working and was very slow they love to talk dont care about customer was waiting to pay... many time i saw how they work

  • Olila

missing one star because when check out has to wait long time in one of the only 2 open aile when there was a lot of customers waiting to check out, due to lack of staffs to work at check out lane.

  • Mick M

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The store itself is one of the smaller ones compared to others. The garden section is quite small. It still has most of the stuff you would expect.

  • arshya moghaddas

No one knows where the gas bottles are, sent back and forth. Lady at the garden centre pretended like the gas bottle was coming out of her pay. As she was so hesitant to grab it for us.

  • Tibor Juhasz

A favorite spot to stop for a coffee and snack, cake or even lunch. Garden section is plentiful in plants and gardening needs. The staff are helpful and polite.

  • Genevieve Arrowsmith

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about products and how to use. Range is fairly good, and they can look up expected deliveries for anything out of stock

  • Danwa Mifanwee

Most Saturdays we like to do activities with the kids. They're brilliant and so worth doing, staff here are amazing, Bunnings has become my secondary home.

  • Carter Rachel

The staff that served us,were very polite, and helpful, the only disappointment was the special orders counter,no staff, then a lengthy wait, for assistance

  • karen Simmons

Great service and staff assistance (their knowledge of where to find articles is amazing!) always come away satisfied and thinking about the next visit!

  • Sean Jackaman

It's a great location but it would be good if the staff knew where things were. I asked for something and 3 different staff told me 3 different aisles.

  • Tanmarie Thomson

I too have a bunnings bucket. The old 20litre Mayo bucket started to fail me so I grabbed a green bunnos bucket. Needless to say, I have no words …

  • Bronnie Howlett

The paint guy I spoke with is great. He was so helpful & patient. He asked questions that i hadn't considered & gave some great tips & advice. …

  • Sam Davis

Great store with friendly, knowledgeable staff members. Usually has everything you need, a simple online check usually avoids any disappointment.

  • David Clifton GM

Went looking for specific product, before it dissapears. Found then cheaper at both Rd eynella and Christies. Purchased them at those stores.

  • George Tinker

Excellent, wether it be for one screw or material for a major project they seem to have it all with smiles and customer service to go with it.

  • Phil C

Great place if you need customer service. The range isn't as big as some of the other Bunnings, but all the staff here are helpful.

  • Heather Westrup

Had two items for return/refund. Simple and efficient process at a dedicated counter just inside the door. I was impressed …

  • CJ Turanyik

Staff were awesome, door lady was nice to exchange with, massive store, however, only fault... no one to run the paint booth.

  • Michael R

Very friendly greeting and easy pos process. In and out in a flash mainly because of its organised product range.

  • Philip Cartledge

Very neat, clean and tidy store. Staff easy to find when help required. Prices good and will definitely return.

  • Marilyn Morgan

Love going to bunnings to not only shop but to have a nice extra hot cup of Chai Latte ‍ …

  • Adam Lyttle

Exactly what you would expect from a bunnings. Great garden centre with direct access from the car park.

  • William McIver

Good shop but they didn't have a hat size big enough for those with above average head size like myself.

  • John Lockyer

I wanted a garden tap 15mm to 20mm the stardard Australian tap and they had nothing . How bad is that?

  • Marco Stolze

Very helpful staff, polite and knowledgeable. Ample parking even a playground for the kids. …

  • The Morgan

Picked up some supper gerbera's today were well priced and so nice, planted them they look great.

  • tim pascoe

Friendly staff but the layout is a bit clunky! Doesn't seem as well set out as some other Bunnos

  • Kinkdogg

Check the website for the items you want before going, this Bunnings doesn't stock everything.

Friendly staff, little playground and a great nappy change facility. Sausage sizzle is iconic.
