The worst example of Customer Service I have ever witnessed. I still can't believe what I experienced! My wife and I went into the store very positive & met a lovely gentleman at the front door. He was great. The next two staff members (upstairs) were rude and unprofessional, not to mention completely unhelpful. On our way out, the lovely gent asked how we went. I explained & he went to attend to the problem. However..... The next night I had to return (Wednesday 21st September). WOW!!!! A lovely young bloke in the Tool Shop who was very helpful, however an older man took over, and attempted repeatedly to sell me an expensive item I did not need. Then when I went to purchase an item with missing parts, at the price previously agreed upon with the other staff member, this older gentleman increased the price significantly, and repeatedly attempted to haggle the price up much higher, arguing as he did so. When I declined and said "No Thanks, I'll leave that with you", & before I had completed the transaction, he said in a smug manner to the younger sales assistant "Put that over there, wait until the morning, then put $10 on it" (almost 4 times less than what he was attempting to charge me), appearing to do so in spite for not getting his way with me. I still cannot believe someone acting on behalf of a business can be allowed to be so petty, & behave in such an unprofessional, immature manner. The worst example of Customer Service I have ever witnessed. I have been shopping at Bunnings for decades. We spend an average of $3000 to $4000 per year at Bunnings. I will never shop there again, based on principle. Not only has the disgraceful customer service we experienced here, caused us to cease shopping at Bunnings altogether, we will also tell everyone we meet of our experience here, and instead highly recommend the new hardware store we have since found, where the service is incredible. Bunnings Windsor Gardens - You have just cost your company many thousands of dollars! The worst customer service I have experienced yet!

Unfriendly and unhelpful manager Dom. My ryobi pressure washer got fault. I took it to store to ask for possible suggestion. I lost my recepit as I bought it in July 2022. Instead of helping she straightaway said we can't help you unless you show us recepit or bank statement. Cmon lady I didn't even ask for refund or exchange yet! Well I couldn't find it on my statement so I started seeking bunnings policy in such circumstance I went back to her and asked her to check the policy. She said as you have mentioned that there is a fault you can't return without receipt. If this was change of mind or exchange we would have done it without receipt but we know there is a fault, We cannot do anything on this case. Really!!are you suggesting me to lie next time? I wasn't very happy with the way she treated me and wanted to give feedback to bunnings. So I asked her details. "My name is dom and I'm only dom in the store if you want to report to higher Management you can do and you will get the same answer from them." Was her last word. I never mentioned to complaint so don't know what's gup with her attitude. Don't know who made her manager and what juniors are leaning g from her. Unhappy dissatisfied. Bunnings is going down with customer service.

If I could give zero I would for customer service. Went to garden centre looking for specific plant of which I had label in my hand. Was referred by concierge that (can't remember her name) could help me. Referred to her as she was across from him stuffing her face and pointing to where I could find it... which i couldn't. Saw other plants I liked went back to concierge (not great service there either) and asked if any one could assist me. He again pointed and mentioned same girl then was just speaking with other staff. In the end just left...will spend my $$$ elsewhere and def won't be back. Very poor impression left. Staff were not engaged or interested in me as the customer. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL!!

Overall better compared to the old & dingy bunnings store... being new everything is organised & tidy, nice & bright with room to move... However there a few negatives for those who haven’t yet visited this new store. • The Parking arrangement is much better (compared to before) The Good - it’s now undercover, more parks The Bad - Only 1 entrance (enter only/no exit) off north east road. - Exit via innes road only which can get quit congested (traffic lights) • The layout of the main cash registers is strange. We had to walk back through the store to get back to where the car was parked (north east road side)via the lifts next to the garden centre - not very well thought out

I do love Bunnings. This is a big store. The staff are always super friendly and very knowledgeable about the products and location of items. My only issue is that lately their garden power tool selection seems to have gone drastically downhill. Seems the entire section is now mostly ryobi, some ozito, a few makita and then a couple of other “token” ones. I can only assume they are trying to handball people off to another of the Wesfarmers owned companies like “tool kit depo”. Pretty annoying as Bunnings used to be the one stop shop for everything. Apart from the garden tool section, the rest of the store has a variety of products

Whilst my rating here is a bit harsh it’s just relative to the 5 star experience I’ve had in other Bunnings around Australia. It has huge potential as the venue is really spacious and well organized but the main problem is the staff are not as friendly or helpful as I’ve come to expect or what Bunnings are famous for. I’ve been coming here for over a year as it’s my local and it’s rare to get any proactive help or a smile. I’m sure it’s a tough gig at times but people don’t seem to enjoy working there. Also they rarely open the self checkouts so it can take ages to pay for stuff as they have limited staff operating checkouts.

We bought our Kaboodle bathroom cabinetry from Bunnings, ably assisted with the design and planning by Doug Ottrey the in store kitchen expert. Doug was very patient and understanding and gave us plenty of sound advice with the proposed installation of our cupboards and our choices of benchtops. He's extremely knowledgeable about the products he sells and goes the extra mile to ensure you're happy with your choices. Many thanks Doug - we'll be bringing in some photos when the renovation is finished :)

  • Pasquel Dharmawardane

We recently bought a few items and were happy with the service and the quality as usual. Then we had to return one item since we wanted a better version of the same. It was finally allowed after talking to the manager (Mikela if my memory is correct) Really appreciate it. Also it’s note worthy that the person at the return counter tried her best to influence the manager not to allow it (Ella). Just one person shouldn’t change the overall impression - hence 5 stars.

During the time of building our new home, we used to come here almost twice a week. We visit here often for our gardening needs. The gardening section is very rich. I was never disappointed with the seedlings and plants I bought from here. I bought a mango plant a few years ago. Now it is fruiting. The hardware section is also very good. The staff working here are very nice and helpful. However, be patient to get a person to find something you are looking for.

Went to Bunnings Windsor Gardens and its one of the better Bunnings branches - Firstly its a huge store with two levels of space! There is also a decent undercover parking and two lifts to assisr for moving those large items. Personnel are not as many but I cannot really complain about that (given covid). And they are knowledgeable and helpful if you find one. The place gets very busy during the weekends so I tend to go there, if I can, during week days.

  • Michelle Di Fava

My favourite Bunnings !! It doesn't matter if its pouring with rain or 40 degrees because with undercover parking you're always protected so who wouldn't want to go all the time !! Also dogs are welcomed. It's a huge place. Usually my husband goes off one way and I go off the other and we meet up for a coffee. We also seem to come home with more than we intentioned to buy but always have fun. It's a must to visit the sausage sizzle before going home !!!

  • Ricky B

Very big selection, very clean store. I come here for the garden section and compared to some other Bunnings they actually have a very well looked after nursery. I hardly ever have an issue with stock, the shelves are 99% full and stock is in the right locations. The only suggestion is I have been to other stores and the staff say hi, I know as a customer service person this becomes tiring but its the little touches that make a you feel welcomed.

  • Johnno Curry

Every time ive asked for assistance at Bunnings Windsor Gardens young or the more mature aged employees , all go out of their way to assist you , Nothing is too much trouble regardless of whatever section your in from the nursery to paint to nuts and bolts , WHATEVER , its the only Bunnings i will go to in the future im so impressed , i go there to buy things i can get at Woolies 1 click closer to home and i dont have my own transport.

  • Carly Daykin

This probably goes across the board but the staff are great here. There was a problem with an item that was purchased from the store and they offered me two choices, exchange/refund (which didn't suit me, as it was a gift and I did not want the other colour as the one I had was better for that space) OR I could have a go at repairing it myself and they would give me all the necessary things to do that. Which I chose to do! Love them!

  • Heather Wadrop

This morning I credited a bag of cement to the NE Rd Bunnings. I checked with the staff at the major entrance where there is pick up etc. The 2 staff members (dare I say both male) that were serving were extremely helpful. In the world as it is today….giving compliments are often missed. Thank you gentlemen and thank you Bunnings. I am hoping this is passed on to the staff in question.

  • Seb

This new store is bigger than the previous one. It has two floors and plenty of useful staff. The kids playground is good. They sale coffee too even if it does not taste very nice. There is a large underground car park. You can pick up large things and gas in a drive through. Wide range of flowers and plenty of things we don't really need but that we still want!

  • Omid Karami

Bunnings Windsor Gardens offers an extensive selection of products, making it a convenient choice for various needs. However, my experience was marred by the unhelpful and unfriendly staff. It's disappointing that the customer service didn't match the variety of items available. Hopefully, the management takes steps to improve the overall shopping experience.

  • Hung Tu

Nice store, nice range as expected by Bunnings and most importantly at the time I am writing this review, a nice group of staff. Good hassle free returns and well lit building. Great shopping experience at this particular store. Edit: Trolleys left around neighbourhood for extended periods of time. Already communicated with Bunnings. Poor follow up.

  • Ben Drinkwater

The revamped bunnings is great. So much different to the other warehouses. Underground parking and a second level. I have never seen and escalator in a bunnings until now. Basically the rear section of your normal bunnings is upstairs here. Eg plumbing, electrical, cleaning etc. The garden centre is small in comparison with some other locations.

  • Rob Mitchell

These clowns tried ripping us off. We took three $7.98 140mm Fuschias to counter and they tried charging us $12.98 each for them. When queried about the items on sale, the rude, condescending garden attendant said, "Oh no, it's not those 140mm Fuschias, it's the other growers ones that are on sale." See the attached pic for your own opinion.

  • Justin Boxer

It's huge!! This is probably the biggest Bunnings in the state. On two levels. Always lots to look at. Usual Bunnings prices and bargains. Never enough time to look at everything. Would spend more there if I had more money! Went there again for Christmas gear they have sold out of a lot of things, was still able to get a couple of items.

  • shivam verma

Chloe the lady at the information both was very rude, we went to pay for the heater and since the box of heater was already opened we asked if there is a possibility of a discount, she very rudely replied to us as we are cheap skates, she was highly unprofessional and I think she needs to be trained on how to deal with customers

  • K McAllister

Huge store, friendly service, great staff knowledge, pretty much everything in stock. Plants were mostly in goid condition but could use a little more tlc in this warmer weather. Trade part though is a bit average, didn't have a trained cutter available when needed. Service attendant at that counter was not helpful at all.

  • Jackson Butcher

I came here about 5 months ago and have returned. Once again Lachlan was a charming young lad who helped me sort out the timber for my deck and shed. Bro needs that promotion now, absolutely Stella stuff from him. He even carried it out to my car, once again going above and beyond to help his customers. 10/10.

  • Kohda Belperio

Came through a couple days ago, a kind young man named Lachlan assisted me with my problems. I am currently working on a project to make an underground treehouse for my kids, and he kindly helped carry all the materials into my white van outside front, this man definitely deserves that promotion going on.

  • Sajar Limbu

Excellent cx service Had an issue with vacuum, lost the warranty card and receipt. Still the staffs were super friendly to track down the purchase of 2021. Once the receipt was found, they looked into the vacuum and just cleaned the filters without any hesitation. Just amazing!

  • David Pinnington

Rang & spoke to Lewis/Louis re 2x2 clever cube as Parafield had sold out. Windsor had plenty of stock. Went into store & saw I think his name was Brett had phone ex 176 & he knew exactly what i was after as Lewis/Louis had passed the message on. Great service. Thank you …

  • shraddha rawal

Very good and helpful staff! They really go out of their way and give honest opinion and expertise. Have been to this Bunnings quite a few times and will keep going only because the staff is very good there. We have been to almost all Bunnings but not all have great staff.

  • Cath

Great shop, team member was very helpful but count on stainless steel fly screen said there was 3 on hand but couldn't find it. We were asked could we go to Prospect as they had 26 ! We've driven from Norton Summit road so no we're not going to Prospect.

  • Natwar Singh

Windsor Gardens Bunning staff is great. Specially, Amelia in Paint's department is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She always greet customer with smile , and help customer with patience to find the right product. Customer satisfaction ✔️.

  • Harry Adams

Lowest prices were not the beggining, because the timber costed 10% more then mitre ten even though bunnings said if there is a place with the same stocked item, they will beat it by 10%, in this case they meant they would beat by being more expensive.

  • Ala Qupale

Brett -a man at painting desk. Absolutely amazing. Not very often it happens when i visit specialists departments and shop assistant gives you very professional advice. If you need the best advice i highly recommend Brett at Windsor Gardens. Thank you.

  • South Aussie lad

Originally gave this place 5 stars back in the day, now I bloody hate coming here. This Bunnings honestly has the rudest, most self absorbed and incompetent staff I've ever come across. I'm not talking about the older staff members here either.

  • Monica Norton

Big shout out to Cate who was greeting customers at Bunnings Windsor Gardens. Cate was able to direct us to 10 different aisles so we could get our 10 items of shopping done in no time at all. Appreciate your excellent customer service.

  • Cathy Winters

Got exactly what I needed plus a few extra things, as usual. The staff new exactly what aisle I had to go to, right down to what side and how far down the aisle.I only go to the Windsor Gardens store, I am so glad it's my local. …

  • William B

Just a couple of days ago I ran into Pete (the ex-welder) with whom I have chatted a couple of times at least. Really knowledgeable and just as importantly, will go out of his way to be helpful! Great customer service at this place.

  • Matthew Orr

A Good store" but it be alright if people were using trolleys use the lifts provided & staff should be enforcing that a bit more, But" Hey next time i,ll use the lift instead of the escalator Karma comes back both ways . …

Rang before heading there to confirm a certain aircon was in stock. Asked for the aircon to be put on hold and was told "Is no need as we have plenty in stock." To arrive 30 minutes later to '0' in stock...

  • Shane F

Good layout of store, generally have what your after ,if I had to say a down side it would probably be when you leave the store getting out is a bit problematic with the heavy traffic on Northeast road.

  • marc mallyon

Always great service at this bunnings staff are always happy to help and free to ask any questions and get someone else if they are not sure. Would recommend this bunnings to family and friends

  • boreeng

Waited half an hour for someone to cut me a metre of cord, self service not an option. Went to help desk 3 times. Staff all over the place doing their best to avoid customers. Unbelievable!

  • Michele Miers

Large variety of Tools, PPE, Gardening needs, Building needs, Outdoor furniture, BBQs, Security Cameras, Keys, Paints and much more. Competitive pricing. Returns generally fairly simple.

  • Helena Stotter

Great place, great parking...only small grievance is the distance you need to cover, depending on how many different items you need. But love the parking and staff friendly and helpful.

  • Oz Docwho

Went here the other night and I wanted something as remembrance for my dog that just died. She lady in the gardening section was so helpful and greatly knowledgeable. 15 stars for her.

  • Atanu Saha

Great range, and excellent staff who are readily available. One of the better Bunnings to go to early in the day, as ample parking. Also allows dogs on leash throughout the store.

  • Robert Elphick

One of the better bunnings, still hard to find help when needed but overall they are provide better service and have a better layout and clear isles unlike mile end and kent town.

  • becky lawrence

Helpful staff, massive range, always clean and tidy, only small issue is that when they are busy you may struggle to find a carpark. Otherwise it would be a full 5 stars!

  • Michael scholz

Just had a kitchen consult with a lovely guy. He was a knowledge of information. Well worth the experience if you're thinking new kitchen. He'll save you bucket loads

  • Peter Pap Photography

Amazing service for return of faulty lamps. The team really went out of their way to help me and reach a positive outcome near closing time. Thank you …

  • Mostafa Qasimi

Really bad staff, can’t help in store or when calling they don’t pick up their phone or once they pick it up they will put you on hold and then will just hang up

  • Kyle Castellino

One of the best Bunnings I've been to. Love the furniture options and it's a very handy place to go to if you're setting up a house or need garden supplies.

  • Mick M

A newer bunnings so everything is a bit easier to find, hire shop products are in better condition. Staff are always quite cheerful and happy to help too.

  • Phil McCracken

Pretty good, back when I was a wee lad I used to lay some pipe here. Back in 2013 I hit and killed a pedestrian in my car and never went to jail for it.

  • glenn w murphy

Like other Bunnings but it has another level. Easy parking, easy to move around even on weekends. Some good specials and staff are helpful.

  • Ricky Schreier

Excellent store great staff but because it's next to a popular gym and being a very popular place itself traffic congestion is a problem

  • Barry Brown

Everything hardware that you could possibly want is at this store. Friendly staff and good coffee if you want one. Easy to park. Ibis

  • phil prosser

So what is the option??? Sydney tools or total tools every time if they are open. But yhe rest bunnings have the market locked in.
