This is the First church in Bangalore.Built on 1808,as Fort Church, Bangalore, was located within the Bangalore Fort. The church was demolished to make place for the construction of the Vani Vilas Hospital. The Government of Mysore allotted land in Chamrajpet for construction of a new church, and this is now the St. Luke's Church, Bangalore.Early records refer to this church as the Drummer's Chapel, constructed by British soldiers after the fall of Tippu Sultan. The Fort Church, Bangalore was the first protestant church to be raised in Bangalore.

I visited this church in the evening mid week. A very beautiful church from outside and inside. Interior structure is also beautiful. There was peace and it is maintained really well. They opened the door for me and stayed and prayed there for a while. It was a good experience since i found this church unexpectedly. (The way shown in Google map is a bit different)..and searched this by myself. Walk straight from tippus summer palace and take left at the intersection. You will find the entrance to church✌️

The perfect place to pray in peaceful atmosphere. One of the best hidden treasures in the city center. The place filled with sense of serenity. It is a beautiful Church with excellent acoustic. The Organ inside has a beautiful sound. The Church has a history of 200 years. Before 88 years it is called as Fort Church.

I visited there for my cousin function, where you don't get hall for guest, but dinning hall was good and clean and spacious. For guest to sit they have open area where you can sit

It is church which is very near to Victoria hospital in Bangalore Serene place to seek God and has facility to do functions in their Hall. It has the best architecture and space enough to park 10-15 cars On very important location . It is very beautiful church ⛪

Well the place is google but the if u are walking and using maps then it may lead u to some dead ends so its better u ask surrounding people while going to this place.

Attended only a marriage! Church building and the parish hall, etc are impressive! But we couldn't get drinking water anywhere when we needed it most!

A beautiful church... one can certainly feel the presence of the Lord.. Church having both English and tamil services... Choir is very nice...

St Luke’s Church is a 200 year old Tamil Church and also called as Fort Church. A great place to worship God and Fellowship with HIS people.

Beautiful place. This is the first Church in Bangalore, 1803! Situated next to Central police station ( now VV PURAM police station)

Good Place for wedding and Birthday function, it's a multidisciplinary church. No need to worry about Caste and religion.

Church should stand away from politics, I am not sure if people really come to worship else for names sake a church goer

Awesome experience. The church's architecture is exemplary . Choir singing was good. Perfect place for worship.

Church with function hall & lunch/dinner place available near crowded place such as kr market and makala kuta.

Many places will be great but their restroom will be worst but here they have maintained good hygiene
