Let me preface this by saying I had a great time on my visit to the stadium (9/3/23 football vs. Oregon State). The field and view are nice and it was easy to watch the game, but that's about it. Concessions were an absolute mess, long lines everywhere and constantly running out of food and/or not serving what was listed on the menu. They ran out of beer at the stadium during the game too. Ushers at the venue had zero training as many people had seemingly duplicate tickets because rows are labeled as "L" or "Blank", but there is no signage or information which explains the difference. Lots of confused people in the stands. They had the "Spartan Sing-along" a couple times and the audio track wasn't aligned with the words on the screen. I could go on, but you get the idea. Just a very amateurish operation. Fun football though.

Parking and associated traffic for football game was horrendous. Disorganized, not enough cops directing traffic... An unpleasant situation and the crowd wasn't even that big. The stadium itself was a little cleaner. Looks like they power washed the walkways, stairs and maybe stands. Maybe it'll be better once they redo the east side, which right now has no stands while the prep to build the new structure. Which I hope will happen soon.

We were only on the practice fields for a Pop Warner football event. Fun time. It was nice to see the San Jose State football team come out in their practice gear to greet several of the teams and cheer the boys on. They even hung around for a bit on the sidelines to root for our boys and get them pumped up. I’m sure our kids will remember that experience for years to come. Thank you San Jose State.

Go Spartans. This place holds a special place in my heart.... I've been attending football games here for over 50 years. That's nuts. It's changing... As always...One thing never changes though.... SJSUs football record...ugh. Lol. Best if luck guys, and go Spartans! Oh, and yes...crazy George has been a fixture here for as long as I can remember.... We invented the wave !

I go to the stadium to watch SJSU football. It's a fine stadium for college football. The seats are bench and mostly comfortable. The consestion are reasonably priced. Parking adds to the cost sure so bring some cash. It's an older stadium but money has been spent well to keep it up to date. The large screen in the southern end zone is really nice.

While I attended SJSU, Billy Graham held a week of revival meeting at CEFCU Stadium, aka Spartan Stadium. This is the only time I saw Billy Graham in person, but I am very grateful God allowed this. Every knew he was a charismatic but hearing his sermons and George Beverly Shea sing were the high light of my time at SJSU.

The "Boss"had a power trippin problem outta no where?HE EMBARRASSED ME IN FROUNT OF THE WHOLE CROWD.HE WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND OWES ME AN APOLOGY FOR THE WAY HE TREATED ME. I LEFT THE GAME (JOB)EARLY DUE TO HIS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL WAYS.SHAME ON HIM. HE NEEDS TO PRACTICE HIS PEOPLE SKILL.TAKE A MANAGEMENT CORSE

I use to go to San Jose State University SJSU I did Spartan Stadium back then and CEFCU Stadium since 1988-1989 -now going there for games for 89 years my Friend Nick go there now he works for the the best football team in the San Francisco Bay Area right now back to back mountain West Champions 2014 and 2020

The stadium was fine for the event I went to. I could not figure out how to get to my seat but thankfully there was someone there to help me find it. The food was decent and the beer was refreshing. It was unfortunate that the spartans didn't win, but I have faith and I will go back to watch them again soon!

Attended a soccer game. Nice pitch. Team is good and plays hard. Well coached. Student fans super rude and obnoxious. About half didn’t stand for national anthem, just played on their phones during National Anthem. Unbelievable disrespect and reflects very poorly on the university.

This place is sad. Went to see a lacrosse game and the stadium look like something that was stuck in the 50"s "Go Rydell High". It is Silicon Valley"s SJSU with all the money around this area and you have a high school tier stadium, like I said before it lloks like the 50"s.

Came to watch a football game. They ran out off all food before halftime. It was colder at night. They didn't offer any coffee or hot chocolate even though it was in the menu. They were out. Have a very rude staff. Game was good. Stadium needs a lot of help though.

Sat in the ADA section. A guy with a disability brought 9 able-bodied friends to the section. They all had ADA tickets. H0w is that possible? Perhaps the SJSU Athletic Division needs to rethink their ADA ticket buying process. Other than that, it was fine.

Parking is very expensive. The price per even is $30 you pay through the app. If you want to park right in front of the stadium the price per event is $40. The food is good but also very expensive. There is plenty of parking, and very easy to park

Great Spartan experience. Over 16000 in attendance for opening game against Utah. Crowd entertained the entire time. Plenty of security and leo present. Downside was they didn't have many food items prepared.

If it’s a near capacity game getting concessions is a long process with things like water and most food being sold out before halftime. Very intimate stadium with a lot of history but needs a makeover.

Very dated stadium, old cramped seating - basically could not sit for the entire game. However, the game was a lot of fun and the fans were very hospitable which made up for the substandard facilities.

CEFCU has been refurbished and is very nice. The weather was a bit warm. The team had a rough go of it against the Beavers. The concession stands are too few and it was half an hour to buy a burrito.

Very nice time out doing security at the University stadium ️. Pleasant experience amongst the college youth of San Jose State University. Hope to return on Nov 11 for the Fresno Bulldog game. …

It was a great experience. The only thing they did make sure was that your purse/bag was clear. Other than that, the facility was clean and we had options to purchase food from food trucks.

Watched Oregon State destroy our hometown Spartans . Lack of food vendors really stinks, but otherwise a fine stadium. General admission lets you sit pretty much wherever. …

Nice stadium. Seat are very close to the field making it feel like your in the game! Currently about to start construction to install a 3 story "skybox", press box, and balcony!

Went here for the annual Sparta-Q fundraiser event for the SJSU Women's Softball Team. Such a wonderful event with great bbq! Looking forward to next year!

I love College Football and have experienced many different venues, Spartan Stadium is by far my favorite. Close to the action and rustic.

This place is OK. My grandparents use to bring me here to watch football games. When I visit, I can never find parking.
