Complete waste of time and money! Took my F150 in for an alignment at 1100 as scheduled only to arrive and find out that there were two vehicles ahead of me also having alignments done. Defeats the purpose of the scheduled appointment. I left my truck there. After fours of waiting I call to see whats going on with my truck and it still hasn't been done, had to wait an additional 45 minutes for the work to be done. I show up to pay my bill and pick up my truck only to hear a rattle from the steering column on the way home. I call them to explain and they say to bring the truck in when I can so I head right back to the shop. A technician takes the truck for a drive and attributes the steering column rattle to the papers in my glove box and change in my center console. Not likely but it got me out of their shop. The noise wasn't there before I went in to have the alignment and I made that clear. They insulted my intelligence and I'm a car guy. Needless to say I work nights and wasted an entire day with these guys. Now I have to pay a second time to have the alignment corrected by a better shop. Not impressed. I do not recommend even taking a broken wheelbarrow to these guys!! And they're good with words! First inspection/visit they refused to do the work. They neglect to mention that they wanted new tires to guarantee their work. There were two cars ahead of my scheduled appointment... you mean there wasn't enough time to switch two tires and that's what led to them being five hours behind schedule? The final "inspection" after the noise was discovered wasn't an actual inspection, I complained and they attempted to verify and pointed the finger at papers in my glove box and change in y my center console yet the noise is distinct and coming from the steering column, not the center console or the glove box for that matter. I'm well aware that there shouldn't be any noise after an alignment...that's why I complained and asked them to fix it. After I paid and complained they want a recognition for inspecting their terrible workmanship and accomplishing nothing but taking my money! All in all I have an alignment booked at a competitors garage as after driving 100kms yesterday I noticed my steering wheel is off center and the truck pulls to the right so the alignment was poorly done anyways. Just save yourself the aggravation and steer clear of this place.

I have a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and have always kept up with maintenance and rely on my service provider to tell me what needs to be done to keep it safe and running well. I was super concerned and disappointed when I had some unusual car trouble while up north but thankfully made it back to Hamilton. In a panic I needed to find a place close by and was so thankful to see so many great reviews for CRS from people who also love their cars that I had to call right away. Plus having driven by many times I noticed they always have customers. They still took my car right away. Turns out it was a simple fix and had my previous service provider been more attentive and reliable this issue could have been avoided. My car sounded amazing after and I couldn't resist taking it for a drive on the hwy! It was obvious to me that Majid and the team there are very skilled, precise, and caring and I have continued to rely on them to take good care of my car. I really appreciate the quality of customer service I have consistently been provided and felt very comfortable throughout all my experiences. I value great communication; the time taken to explain what my vehicle needs and why, and reviewing the work order and total cost before starting the job. Pricing is much better than servicing at the dealership. Highly Recommend!

I would go here for alignments and oil changes. They’ve have been rather solid up until recently. I was told by attendant, Hassan that the alignment was good to go. I tried the car and noticed it being off on the highway. I called and asked to confirm if they tested the vehicle on the highway, not just the city streets. Hassan confirmed that they took it on the highway and drove it. I was unconvinced as the odometer only went up by 2 kilometres. A one way drive to Burlington Street alone is 2.4 kilometres and going back would add at least another 2 kilometres. I suspected that he was being less than honest. Anyways, I brought it back and told them that I felt the pulling to the side when I drove on the highway. Before I left my vehicle, I took a picture of the odometer to compare when I picked it back up. Hassan confirmed with certainty that the car was taken on the highway. I compared the numbers of the odometer and they were the EXACT same. I went in again and the other guys there were able to show me the alignment numbers and difference in tire tread which would explain the car pulling when driving on the highway. The guys here are usually pretty good, however, there is now a lack of trust as a representative decided not to be upfront with me on several occasions.

Jeremy and his team were great. My brake light came on Wednesday afternoon and after looking at the vehicle manual, I drove it directly to the garage. I explained the situation to the gentleman at the counter and said that I would leave it with them to look at when they had time. If they could look at it on Wednesday great, I knew it was last minute, but Thursday was fine. I called Thursday late morning for an update and they were looking at it as we spoke but they could not find anything wrong. The light had gone off, they checked the brakes thoroughly and could not find anything wrong. When my wife went to pick up my van it was much cheaper than we expected and my wife explained that we wanted to pay them fairly for their service but they said to just talk them up to friends and family which we will certainly do as we have been thrilled with our service anytime that we have needed them. It is very hard to find a good and fair mechanic and we have found a great one.

Bought a used vehicle in very good condition. I test drove the vehicle and inspected it myself before buying. I know quite a bit about cars myself. The vehicle drove perfectly fine. Unfortunately we needed to get the vehicle safety inspected in order to register. I brought it to this place and I was told that so many things needed to be replaced on the vehicle. I honestly felt like my wife and I were being taken advantage of especially as a newcomers to Canada at the time. I can recall one of the younger workers staring at me with a look of guilt in their eyes. We ended up paying approximately $2000 in parts and labor just to get a very good vehicle certified safe. It’s been over a year and to this day I still look at the receipt and feel like we were ripped off. Please get a second opinion from another mechanic you trust before making any exorbitant payments you know in your heart your vehicle do not need. I wish I had done that.

My break line was leaking (the rear lines did need to be replaced), they quoted a laundry list of stuff to a total tune of $2700. They even gave me the ol' "your break pads need replacing" when it's only 20% worn (I checked). Maybe that's their way of turning down my business, but as far as I'm concerned they're scammers. Ps. Another place did the work for $1300, and found none of the other 'problems' I mentioned that this place told me. ----- Quote from CRS's reply: "The only thing left on the front breaks were the pads - why not replace them at the same time?" You just admitted to recomending service that is unnecessary. Those pads have got another 40k in them easy, which is more than likely longer than than the car will last. Also here's some pics of my "rotted rotors", note the close up where I scraped a little rust off, exposing some shiny metal. Haha, I think found out what CRS stands for: Corrupt Reprehensible Scammers.

Suspension broke on Friday night. Called Sat morning and they were booked but said they would take a look. Quoted me the price and I said go ahead and fix it as soon as you can. They said they wouldn’t have time to work on it until Sunday or Monday. They called and said my brakes needed to be redone too (which I already knew) and did I want to do them minus the cost of labour to remove the wheels since they had to remove them for the suspension repairs. I agreed to the price and they were able to get everything done that day for pick up the next day! Wow it was the best I could hope for. A day or two later I had someone on the Link turn into my lane and almost hit me. I had to turn sharply and slam on my breaks to avoid the collision. If CRA hadn’t fixed my car so quickly I would have been driving it and definitely would have crashed. As it was, my car handled brilliantly with the new breaks and suspension!! Thank you CRS!!

My experience with CRS auto started a couple weeks ago. I needed to have my car towed to a shop for a gas leak repair. CRS was recommended to me and I was sceptical because I wasn't familiar with the shops in the Hamilton area. Even though it was after the store closed (about 15 minutes) when I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face and Jeremy offered to take my car in. Although it was a fairly expensive repair ($500+) I was happy with the service I received. Yesterday, my car was leaking gas again but in a different location. I was frustrated that I had another gas leak and dreaded another $500 bill. CRS took my car in on Saturday afternoon and that same evening I got a call saying it was fixed and ready for pick up. No charge. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Hamilton area. The staff was friendly and they really surpassed my expectations. Special thank you to Jeremy for outstanding customer service.

I was hesitant in giving them my business, as their prices are quite high but heard that their knowledge is second to none. Found this to be completely untrue! I choose another mechanic to change my oil, and they recommended that I change my differential fluid. At the time I wasn't able to afford this service. A couple weeks later I needed suspension and many other front end issues dealt with. After spending almost 3000 dollars, I had asked them to check my diff, and they claimed it was perfect. My differential now needs to be replaced. Hopefully their 40k warranty covers this or we're going to have some legal problems. Their complacency and ignorance has now cost me my vehicle and livelihood. They sure do talk a big game, but they dropped the ball on this one. I would suggest looking for a more reasonably priced shop to deal with. Thanks for nothing but problems. See you soon

Took my car in due to the computer was telling low tire add air. Found out the tire had a screw in it they repaired the tire for the third time and told me they would not be able to repair that tire anymore. They did not charge me for the repair. Then we talked about buying new tires so I didn't have a problem with that. Bought four new tires had them installed thinking no more messages from the computer. (Wrong). Low tire pressure, service tire monitoring system my computer is telling me. I took it back two times and they reset the censors and told me I may have to go to the dealer to have the computer checked. Off to the dealer and they found the rear left censor was no good. Replaced it at $170.00 cost. Very disappointed that they couldn't scan the problem after two returns. Very happy with the tires and 90 per cent of the service. I will go back to service my vehicles.

Took my truck here and wanted my transmission flushed. As CRS carriers the machine that I prefer. Also told them to take a look at my AC unit as it was acting up. They gave me a call, ... well as with any AC parts they are expensive. CRS claimed that my compressor is completely toast, and if they were to do the work a condenser would be needed as well, for warranty purposes. Which is fine, until they told me it was going to be a few thousand to fix. Didn't want the ac fixed, paid for the transmission flush that I was happy to pay for. Took my truck to another mechanic turned out to be a short in a sensor wire on the high pressure side. Cost me 250 to fix, and again I was more than happy to pay that. Moral of the story is if you think something is not right it's probably not!!!! Cheers!

I don’t post a lot of reviews, but I cannot praise CRS Automotive highly enough. An absolute A-1 service provider! I called Saturday morning (in a bit of a panic) regarding an engine warning light. Ali was awesome, and conveyed consideration and kindness saying he would do his best to have my vehicle looked at that day. That was the catalyst to an unbelievably positive experience in a service industry that can sometimes be misjudged in dealing with women. The problem was diagnosed Saturday, parts were immediately ordered, and repairs commenced. CRS kept me reassured and in the loop the entire time. It was such a favourable encounter. I received superior, reliable customer service and will be singing their praises and returning to CRS for all future preventative maintenance.

I can't thank Majid and the rest at CRS enough. I drive a C6 Corvette and after having a repair done incorrectly at another shop I was used to go to, the guys at CRS not only fixed everything correctly, but also in a timely manner. They also communicated well with me, and kept the car nice and clean when they worked on it. I have been going to see them since 2016, and have brought them a Ford Crown Victoria, and a Honda Accord, which have both been serviced/fixed by CRS in the same professional manner. I don't know why I thought to go back to the old shop, which has let me down a couple times, but all I can say is I will never make that mistake again, and I would recommend the people and service that CRS has to anybody, whether you drive a humble Honda or a hot Corvette!

I had the best experience here. After having my car battery turn off on me and having CAA come look at it, I needed a new battery or I ran the risk of not having my car turn back on. I called CRS Automotive close to 5:00 pm…down to the wire and they were able to not only get me a battery but they gave me an amazing price and warranty on it. They also caught that one of my lights were out and replaced it too so I didn’t need to make another trip. It was such a quick, efficient and stress free process. They were so pleasant to deal with especially the manager and I’ve switched mechanics ever since. Best decision I’ve made! They turned a stressful time into a manageable time! I've been driving for about 45 years and have gone through the full gamut of experiences, from good to horrific, with car repairs and service. When I tried CRS for the first time, over 7 years ago, I was impressed with their service, which was professional, polite and efficient. When I bought my new vehicle 5 years ago I decided to service the car's warranty schedule with CRS instead of the dealer. I have not been disappointed. They continue to provide fast, efficient service and, when compared to the dealers costs in their warranty schedule, at a better price. I always recommend them to friends looking for reputable service for their cars.

So far CRS is my favourite all time Auto Repair Shop. I have never found better customer service (I find customer service is all over the place in most other shops I have been too, one day you are treated well, the next your treated like your a bother). I love the fact I can set an appointment online and get a quick (within half an hour) response. I find their hours of operation to be a lifesaver (open until midnight most nights). Most importantly I find their quality of work excellent and their prices fair. I have been a customer for about a year now and will continue to be one for as long as I have a car. I recommend them to everyone.

I went in for a tire swap. My winters for my all seasons. All tires were already mounted on rims so a simple swap. After completing the tire swap I noticed a lot of new damage done to my passenger side drivers tire. I brought this up with the service manager, and after reviewing it and speaking to the mechanic who worked on my car, who admitted to hitting a pot hole but not damaging the rim. Needless to say they would not take responsibility for damaging the rim and a $45 tire change is now going to cost me well over $200. Also, my tire monitor light is on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using CRS automotive I have provided pics for evidence

My girlfriend and I go to this establishment for all our automotive services. The service is very professional, quick, and they have great prices. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable on all matters related to your automobile. The shop is in good location, they offer free coffee while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired etc.. the waiting area is nice too. The mechanic we mostly deal with "Craig" is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, dependable and always does an excellent job whatever the job needed. I highly recommend this establishment for all your automotive needs.

I have a long term relationship with my mechanics in Toronto who I've always known I could trust so it was very intimating to be stuck in Hamilton on a Sunday after driving that far and realizing something was majorly wrong with my car. I would have driven to my shop if I could as I find that trying new shops is a little nerve-racking when you don't have a personal reference or recommendation. They were very accommodating, efficient, and fairly priced. They also followed up with me that week to check to see how my car was doing which was so appreciated! I'd highly recommend them to anyone

Me and my fiance brought our car in for an oil change. My car takes regular oil, we have brought it to the literal dealership i got it from and they told me my car takes regular oil. This place told me i NEEDED synthetic and tried to charge us 108$ LOL what a joke?!!!! They said “you can put regular but itll ruin ur car”. You guys know nothing clearly and from what I see you are WAY over charging. Same time we were there another gentleman left for the same reason. Way too expensive and not professional at all. Went to my dealership for my oil change in the end got REGULAR for 60$.

I was hoping this place would be my new mechanic as it is very close to where I live. Unfortunately it's not meant to be. After having a repair of over $600, the initial problem resurfaced within a week or so. I was then given an estimate of $4100 for a further repair that cost me $400 elsewhere. I realize one repair may be unrelated to the other and these things can be tricky, but I can't help but think there may have been some deliberate misdiagnosis on the subsequent estimate. The staff were friendly and courteous though.

My hubby was referred to CRS more than 10 years ago. We tried them and were very satisfied with the work, the service and the staff. We have been going ever since and have referred a lot of friends, family and neighbours there as well. 10/10 service all around. My radiator randomly started leaking today(Sunday), and I have an out of town job to go to tomorrow; I brought it to these guys and they managed to order me new parts, replace my radiator and thermostat all in less than 4 hours, on a Sunday... ON A SUNDAY. You won't find any mechanic in the city willing to do work on a Sunday. Price was more than reasonable. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of a quick fix. Keep up the good work, you guys are fantastic!

Tried them for the first time this week and had a great experience. They took care of everything I asked them to, called and explained the issue and cost before doing the work and stuck to their word. Pointed out that it's getting time to change my brake pads but didn't push it, just gave me a recommended timeframe as to when I should do it and attached the quote to my bill for the other work. Everybody I dealt with was very friendly and the price felt reasonable too. Will definitely be back.

Don’t go here. Brought my car in for an alignment and they said they did one. Mt car still felt like it was pulling and shredded my new tires. I took my car to a second place and they found that crs couldn’t possibly have done an alignment. They scammed me for $120. They’re the reason no one trusts mechanics. I fixed the tie rods and got brand new tires. The “other mechinal” issues was me exhaust. Which has nothing to do with an alignment. Your company just did nothing and charged me money..

I brought my car in for a safety, and the price was reasonable and the work was done well without the headache I've encountered elsewhere. All my questions were answered patiently and clearly, and I was given options to save some money. When I discovered a defective part a few weeks after the repairs were made, I took my car back in and the replacement was astonishingly quick and painless. Everyone I spoke with there seems very friendly, open and honest. I'll definitely go back.

We have been using CRS for over 3 years and at least 4 or more vehicles. Jeremy and his team are always available when we need them whether its a scheduled appointment or an unforeseen circumstance resulting in a last minute visit. One of the best independent garages in Hamilton. They are open 7 days a week. They do not try and upsell. Rates are extremely competitive. Sunday afternoon driving with my 6 month old puppy and I picked up a nail in one of my tires causing a flat. My winter tires were stored at a shop but being Sunday they were closed, I knew I wouldn’t have much luck until I remember CRS! Driving by them all the time I noticed they’re open 7 days a week, they were able to get me in and out within 15 minutes and even let me wait with my dog in the warmth. Great team over there and my new go to spot!

I was in trouble because of a noise in my car and I needed to get it fixed right away as I was leaving on a long trip in a couple days.. Jeremy was so kind and concerned did all he could kept the car overnight and called me the next day said he could get this fixed by the end of the day. CRS has fixed major issues on our Yaris, as well as minor issues on our Fusion, and were always helpful and punctual. Our Fusion also had a transmission issue, which they diagnosed correctly but were unable to fix in house. They recommended Sampson Transmission on Upper James who were also a dream to deal with. I really appreciated the honesty and value we received with our visits. Can't recommend this place more!

I went to CRS for a tire and oil change and the mechanic took a look at my car to make sure everything was in order. They noticed that I needed my front brakes replaced. When they called to let me know, I was provided with an accurate quote and timeline. My car was completed within a reasonable amount of time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Went here after seeing the great reviews when my check engine light came on. I was totally expecting the regular ridiculous "diagnostic fee" that I've been charged by other places. But instead Jeremy and the guys took a look and gave me quote for no charge and were done very quickly! This is my favourite place to get my old Santa Fe fixed. First, they don't try to get me to replace every little thing that isn't working. They know I just need to keep it on the road and in a safe working condition. Next, the staff is a pleasure to deal with, and they are willing to explain in detail the repairs that are needed. I was worried when my car started acting up, because I was new to Hamilton and hadn't met a trustworthy mechanic yet. I did some research and chose CRS and Im super happy that I did. Used both shops in Oakville and Hamilton. Two owners, great service from both. Fair prices, and honest. I stated something was sounding off when I start my car, the gentleman that helped me stated he couldn't diagnose the problem thus won't work on it, and to come back if problem persisted. My check engine light popped on Saturday night and CRS was the only mechanic near me that was open Sunday. I called to schedule an appointment, dropped the car off an hour later and had it back by early afternoon. They even fixed the headlight that my old mechanic "couldn't fix". The person I spoke with helped me out and informed me on other potential issues I could encounter with my girlfriend's fiesta And they even changed out the batteries in her key, which was extremely nice of them ! CRS went above and beyond to diagnose a really obscure electrical issue, source replacement parts the dealer didn't even have, and gave a very fair rate for the labour involved. The guys were personable, helpful, and honest - qualities that aren't common at many repair shops. Highly recommend.

CRS is my go-to shop. They do my routine vehicle maintenance, store & swap my tires, and mechanical repairs. Their service has been consistently outstanding; their staff are always friendly and helpful; and they open hours/days are great. Call or email and book ahead as they are pretty busy.

We have been using CRS for a few years, and have found them to be reasonably priced and provide a great service. We needed our winter tires put on, and they fitted us in on short notice over the weekend. Communication around timing was perfect, and drop off/pick up very easy.

Second time i been here for servicing. First time was my Hyundai, and they were really helpful with resolving my car troubles with the manufacturer. This second visit was for another car and they fixed it within a few days and the wife is very pleased with the work done.

I have used CRS for 14 years now. The CRS team has maintained a number of cars that I have owned over the years. Now that the cold temperatures have arrives, they mounted my snow tires and changed the oil. After 45 minutes, all was done and the car is ready for winter.

My regular place, I only took a star off because sometimes when I book online they don't get the appointment request and I have to do my own follow up over the phone to make sure they have the request. Not a fan of that. Overall it is a good spot and I recommend.

As I stepped out of the gym saw my tire deflating called for last min repair on my tire, they where kind and super quick, they noticed I had no wind washer fluid they topped it up! Definitely coming back! Support your local automotive shops y’all!
