The most horrific experience I've ever had! Upon entering this CVS the First Lady employee at the front door was very polite and nice. We exchanged greetings and she asked could she help me find anything, I told her no thank you, and continued on to the snack aisle for pistachios. I noticed upon arriving in the aisle the lady who greeted me was staring from the corner peeking around watching me. When she noticed I noticed her she turned away. I didn't let it bother me. And I continued to look at pistachios (nice selections regretfully saying). Next thing you know another lady employee walks up the aisle towards me. You won't believe what she asked me. Her exact words were " what are you stealing? I seen you put something in your pocket. " this is in front of customers and my fiance. My mind couldnt even compute what happen! After all of this was done she walked away with out a word. The manager comes back and they checked my pockets they also took a look in my bag. After finding nothing and being proved wrong. I asked for each acussers info. He told them hush and you never said those things to him. He's a fool and an idiot. The worst part alot of people just stood by and found it humorous. The male manager was very rude and said leave my store I'm calling the police. I know you stole something. I knew i couldnt leave the scene because its a whole retail chain vs ME i had to wait for the cops to protect my safety. After this the police come, they tell me to wait while they check the cameras. Shortly after they return and tell me I'm free to go I took nothing. On the cameras they see my hands never even left my pockets. I didn't even touch not a single item in the store but I was targeted and labeled a thief then publicly embarrassed and on top of that cops were called on me. This store falsely accused me the moment I stepped in that door. To make matters worse after I asked for the information the male manager was coercing and persuading the cops and his emoloyees to agree with him and lie too. Its really sad in this world people will label you violate your dignity and your character. My skin shouldn't make anyone feel the need to watch me when i come into a store. Then to lie as an employer is beyond me. The manager Alex called to sort things out. She spoke and apologized. But i want it from him. He was man enough to send women do his dirty work. Then tell them to lie. He's needs to be fired. No remores after being wrong. Not even a but empathetic. A Person who exhibits this behavior will only misrepresent your company. Because of this i dont even want to go in the area. I'm so embarrassed and disappointed by this event. Thank you for your call Alex. But that manager has to go. He's going to cause further chaos in the future with his methods of racial profiling and false accusations. I am seeking an attorney for this matter. This cant happen again anywhere ever. You never know what someone is going through or who that person is. So how do you feel so comfortable placing a negative & false accusation on a person. The grief its been causing me and my lady. She works right there and now everytime i pick her up. Ill have to see that cvs. The cvs who profiled and labled me. She has to walk with the guy who it happened to from her job everyday! Truly embarrassing and a hit on both of our spirits and mind. We the people deal with enough. Why make living in it harder. Do better. Now shes uncomfortable as well. Guess who's dealing with it? Me. I really hope your happy CVS

extremely rude customer service from the pharmacy department: I wanted 3 medications ( all be taken together). I first asked them if they could check the prices/ copay. an Asian lady at the counter rudely said "no". I then asked if the price turns out to be not covered whether they could speak to my prescription customer service. this is because, although the customer service said it would be covered with $15 copay, the previous pharmacy said I still needed to pay $55. this lady again v rudely replied that they can't speak to anyone. with desperation for medication, I said that I'll wait to get the medication filled. after half an hr of waiting, she came back and said that one of the medications is out of stock and will take a day to come. since I needed all medications to be taken at the same time, I requested her to return my prescription. she said that she wouldn't as she has filled the other 2 already and will not be able to cancel. I was already late in taking the medication, was confused as to what I needed to do and mentioned to her that I might call my drs office to see what I can do. when I mentioned this, she immediately gave my prescription back. this lady was v rude from the beginning, never listened to my needs, was kind of threatening to even give back my prescription. I would avoid this pharmacy all together, unfortunately because such an unhelpful person like her who works there.

I live in the neighborhood and am here often, including to pick up my prescription. My medication has always been on time, and the staff (both pharmacists and retail) have always been friendly and helpful. The store is always very clean, well lit, and well stocked. I'd like to mention Charisse in particular–she is often greeting in the front of the store. She's friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. A few times I've asked about various odds and ends and she always knows whether or not they carry that item and where they are. I've seen her deal with difficult customers like a pro. I hope her higher ups know how valuable she is!

Old four -year -ago reviews, pre covid, are no longer relevant. This CVS, although boarded when nyc closed, stayed the course. They were wonderful. I am in this store, for various products, a few times a week. They are kind and concerned. The pharmacy has always been patient and kind, and actually proactive. This is much appreciated, as I am in my seventies and my husband, his late eighties. I thank these essential worker/hero persons, from my heart. I so appreciate you all. And now, with homelessness and other street issues of Greenwich Village, they need to open the locks that protect various inventory. Thanks again

❄Seasons Greetings ☃️ ⛄Happy ❄ Holidays ⛄ ❄ & A ❄ ☃️Healthy Happy New Year 20 ☃️ ⛄ The CVS Pharmacy located at 360 6th Avenue in Greenwich Village is a well stocked, well lit and well staffed CVS Pharmacy, and it is also situated in NYU territory. This CVS Pharmacy attempts to be on the high end of shops. The staff tests the customers when they first entered, but they will retreat from their aggressive position to neutral when you let them know your are an educational consumer. The store is very well stocked with tons of everything one might need or want.

No issue just an excellent example of how someone who loves their job can provide a perfectly sublime experience like no other. It was a pleasure today to run into Aoleon in the skin care section at this cvs on 6th Ave store#2558 she was a wealth of knowledge and made it such a fun experience one I surely wont forget. I can't thank her enough for the time she spent showing me all the product and making I got the very best deal. I hope you let her be an example of what every cvs team should be providing; every store could use a rep like Aoleone.

I sent my prescription here, but CVS never filled it until the prescription expired after a month. Now I have to get the doctor to resend it (which will be somewhere else). CVS never called about the prescription, so I went in to inquire. They said it would be two weeks. After a few weeks of not hearing back, I went to ask again. This time they said the script has now expired, and they STILL don’t have it. Ironically the CVS staff could use the focus meds more than me.

I had an emergency and needed my passport photo but I just got “Cameras broken” and to go to the Christopher street station, but it definitely seemed like they just didn’t want to do it. Christopher street station also said the camera was broken and that the photo booth doesn’t open until 10 am (it was 9 Am) but they took the photos with a phone!

Their security person followed my partner around the store until he was able to find me in another aisle, upon which the security person finally left him alone. Really just came here for garbage bags and paper towels. Was able to buy those but I guess we also left with some racial profiling too

  • Rebecca Martin

The customer service here was excellent. I needed a charging cable and plug for my phone. They were sold out of the plugs so one of the managers kindly let me charge my phone a little at the self-service photo desk.

  • Lady Ace

The store is usually empty but it looks a little more worn down the others. There is no designated lines which causes the checkout process to be a bit of a mess and people lining up to pay by the entrance.

  • Fran Rezende

The location is not so great, lots of homeless people in and out. On the other hand Josh, the cash register guy is very professional, nice, and helps the customers with lots of patience.

  • Marlon Hillard

I went in to purchase an item and the manager thought I was stealing something. He told me and my wife you don't go in places you don't belong. I will never shop there again ever!!!!!

  • Evan Schladow

Hopeless. The staff is surly and unhelpful, and may not be qualified to help even if they were inclined to do so. The store constantly looks like it has just been looted.

  • Grace Wong

Female pharmacist should learn some customer service skills. Unfriendly and abrupt, hanging up before I even was done asking my questions today.

  • Lesjahn Davis-Bey

Convenient, near my job and always good in a pinch. Staff is attentive and helpful and I always seem to find a great sale on snacks here!

  • Bryce Palmer-Toy

Some prices are mislabeled. One product was almost $10 more at the checkout than its stated price on the shelf.

  • Jacek Nowak

Helpful staff. You have a self-service photo machine here - just connect with your phone and easy to print

  • I/ R/

Generally well stocked and employees are nice especially with all they have to deal with at the location.

  • Isaac Romero

Staff is not helpful, messy store, be ready to spend time trying to find what you need to buy

  • Roman Gancberg

They claim to have passport photos but they always have an excuse not to do it. Poor service

  • Avner Pinchover

Overpricing umbrellas during hard rain is ugly. Self checkout cashiers are good.

  • Alice Petrie

The worst pharmaceutical assistance I have ever received. Zero care.
