Eventhough the place is pretty nice, and the waiters know multiple languages, that pretty much sums up the positives. The coffee was not great, the mug i got it in wasnt clean, the waitress did not come to check on us a single time to ask if we wanted anything else, they dont have brown sugar or any lactose free alternatives of milk, also no plant based milks, when we asked for check, they forgot about us and we had to ask again. The view doesn't compensate for the mediocre coffee and lack of service. If you can, try somewhere else.

I had an absolutely terrible experience in this place. Food was basically supermarket food heated up, was way too expensive, the waiter didn't speak english, so for tourists, the likelyhood of your order coming differently or not coming at all are high. After all, thats what I experienced. The atmosphere was just as bad, being constantly bothered by loads of wasps, most tables were under harsh sunlight. Tourist trap, don't even think about coming, you will regret it.

Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Qualität des Kaffees und der heißen Trinkschokolade ist gut, auch der Kuchen ist sehr lecker. Die Dekoration ist hübsch und passt zur Jahreszeiten. Das Lokal und die Toiletten sind sauber und gepflegt. Das Preisniveau ist hoch, aber das ist in der gesamten Stadt der Fall. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Dezember 2023

Update: this has become my favorite place for coffee and dessert in Karlovy Vary. I drive here at least twice a month. They don't have hours posted because they are not sure as to what time they will open and closed. You should stop by during the day and have a coffee. Absolutely the best service, coffee and dessert in town. I wish I could come back everyday, but I will definitely be back soon

Stopped in upon arriving to Karlovy Vary to get oriented and make a plan. Ended up staying for quite a while to enjoy a delicious ginger tea and honey cake - my two new favorites! The tea took a minute to come to the table only because they went out of their way to go buy more mint so we could enjoy the tea. Lovely staff and relaxed, comfortable ambience.

Kavárna uprostřed Varů, k mému překvapení Cafe Sofa prodává kávu Costa, ale bohužel kvalita kávy katastrofa tohle by v coste teda neprošlo zákusky klasické, jako všude jinde...cena rozhodně neodpovídá kvalitě. Obsluha ani pořádně nemluví česky natož aby si vás pořádně vsimla rozhodně nedoporučuji, za ty peníze najdete lepší kavárnu ve Varech

Kann man nicht empfehlen!!! Wir saßen zu zweit draußen drin war auch nicht viel los und es wurde bei der Bestellung de Hälfte vergessen . Obwohl 3 Bedingungen rum her gelaufen sind . Und zum Schluss wollte er noch voll alles abkassieren ‍♀️ hätte Verständnis dafür gehabt wäre der Laden voll gewesen .

Interessantes Spaghetti-Eis. Das Vanilleeis war gut, aber statt der dünnen Erdbeer/Bananenscheibchen hätte ich mich über mehr Erdbeersosse gefreut. Relativ teuer: das Eis hat 225 Kronen gekostet, also knapp 10€.

Super nette, freundliche Bedienung. "Americano káva" war lecker. Mir hat es gut gefallen, vor allem, dass man schön im Schatten sitzen kann.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück, Croissants mit Rührei sind zu empfehlen. Café ebenfalls lecker. Kuchen: große Auswahl, haben wie aufgrund der Uhrzeit nicht probiert. Frisch gepresste Säfte! Preislich etwas gehoben.

Leider haben wir nicht so gute Erfahrungen gemacht deshalb nur ein Stern. Es gut kein gezapftes Bier, der Kellner hat alles durcheinander gebracht, er wusste auch noch welche Eissorten es gibt und die Rechnung war falsch. Naja, sehr ärgerlich…
