I had my first English breakfast here after living in Amsterdam for 1 year ( I'm English :). It was actually very good in my humble opinion. Fresh orange juice, decent sausages and beans and bacon. I've tried several others since in Amsterdam and this was still the best, surprisingly.

Loved this place! Had a fresh ginger tea that was ok, and a very lovely hot chocolate. The ladies serving the drinks were very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The place has a toilet and is a good place to take a rest when strolling de 9 straatjies. Meer

The customer service was awful. The waiter didn’t seem to care about her job, she was having a few beers herself with a few friends. On top of that we had to pay 22€ for 2 pints of beer. Absolutely ridiculous! Never again! Avoid at all cost. Meer

Came here for some beers with a friend and loved this brown bar so much. The servers were very friendly and the outdoor seating on the canal is simply beautiful. It’s a great location and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back! Meer

Had a layover in Amsterdam and decided to walk around the city. Saw this place and decided to stop in for lunch. Small cozy place. Chill atmosphere. The meatballs are super good. Panini bread was not over toasted. Was really good.

Sat at a table overlooking the canal outside the Cafe. The several servers that helped us were really great. Had some light snacks and several good beers. Wish we could have stayed for more ! Meer

I enjoy visiting this place when in Amsterdam. The only fault I had is how you get a pint,the head I'd at least quarter of the pint.....otherwise a great spot to watch the city pass by. Meer
