Great neighborhood cafe. Near my apartment, really good sandwiches for both lunch and breakfast. Best veggie sandwich in town, IMO. Most items on the wall menu are made to order, but they also have grab n go yogurt, rugelach (sometimes), bagels, and ready to heat piroshkis (maybe because they're fast, maybe because there's a lotta Russians in my neighborhood?) Good coffee, fair WiFi, and a nice space to work, chill and read, or just watch people. The monks (?) priests (?) from the Russian Orthodox Church nearby frequent this place and it's cool too grab a chat with them when they have time. Everyone here is very friendly. The owners have known my son since he was born, always ask about him when he's not with me, are always genuinely interested in how we're doing. Place has such a nice homey feel to it. Great breakfast deal in the early am too. 5$ for egg sandwich and a coffee. Not many places left in SF where you can pop in with a fin and get square these days. If you find yourself in the outer Richmond, stop in and check this place out. It's not a place to go if you need to IG the places you visit and the food you eat, but it is a more than decent place to go for a cup of coffee and a quick bite.

I really wanted to like this coffee shop, because I always try to support small local businesses. However, this cafe is very disappointing. The coffee was COLD, and although the lady was nice, she caused me to have TWO accidents. She would not allow me to use the restroom until I purchased something (which I was going to do anyway, whether I was going to use the restroom or not), and because of the cafe’s quirky, strict rules, it took WAY TOO LONG to conduct a simple transaction. Because of their rules and delay, I had a #2 accident—not pleasant. To make matters worse, she failed to place the lid on my coffee cup properly, and when I took my first drink, the lid came off, and coffee spilled ALL OVER ME. I am not a clumsy person or someone who likes to complain—I always try to support small businesses. But this experience was UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be back, and I don’t recommend that other people do either. Note for cafe owners—just let people use the restroom without making it difficult. And make sure your coffee is fresh and warm.

I recently moved further down the block from this cafe. During my move, it was my go-to lunch spot because it was along the way to my new apartment. I took my mom out here for lunch as she was helping me move. She was pretty amazed that a tiny coffee shop would have good sandwiches, at a good price! I've had several of their sandwiches, and I have never been disappointed. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are standard, and a fast way to fill up if you're on the run. They have other snacks available, like knishes and pastries. There's plenty of places to sit, and there's many places to be able to plug in your device. It seems to be a hangout for college students and writers, so it can be on the quieter side, which is a nice environment for studying. Service has always been fast and friendly. And they have free wifi. If you want to support a local business, you should buy your next sandwich and coffee here.

I was looking for a coffee shop in the Richmond for a solid work session and this one fit the bill. Great cheap cup of coffee (I went for the americano) and good selection of pastries or snack to go along side if you need some fuel throughout the day. My medium americano came out piping and went PERFECTLY with the fudgy brownie I had them warm up. I worked in there for a solid 5 hours or so and loved the atmosphere. There was a good range of ages and definitely no one sketchy hanging around. The bathroom was clean and the wifi was a decent speed but not completely reliable. I loved the murals painted on the walls and I will most likely be making this my go to cafe to be productive or just to hang out with friends.

I've been going here for years. It uses to be called cafe mono and had a cell phone store. Now it's just a café with a very nice and tasteful re-creation of a Parisian outdoor street with store fronts etc. If you don't get it you haven't seen it. The cofee is fine. They have honey, half and half , brown sugar and organic soy milk. The food is good. Lots of variety. The owners are a nice couple from somewhere in Asia.... very nice, but very difficult to understand at times.. also the lines can be awful, even for a simple cofee. That's the reason for 4 put of 5 stars. If they get things moving quicker I'll change to 5 in a flash.

Its not Starbucks but that's why its awesome. Owned and mostly operated by a middle age couple. They are hardworking and kind but there are some off days. I guess I like this place because it's the anti-corporate, and pro-american-dream type cafe. There are all the options you'd find at any "high-end" cafe and more; blended drinks, soy options, sandwiches, teas, baked-goods and even cup-o-ramen. Its the kind of "Friend's" neighborhood cafe I'm glad is in my neighborhood. Good wifi and plenty of tables and seats to work or study. Its clean and cozy, with cool murals and real trees to keep it enchanted.

A new favorite camp out and get work done spot! I love the atmosphere in here, old office desks with swirly chairs compliment the normal table and chairs. Everyone else is camping out, too. Headphones and laptops, along with some families and friends stopping for coffee and snacks. Free wifi and lots of outlets. When it comes to food, super inexpensive and delicious. Wide variety of options, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, lots of pastries, smoothies, coffees, etc. The service is speedy and friendly. Very affordable, very focus-friendly, delicious, and inexpensive. I'd highly recommend.

Everyone is super sweet and its always very chill when I go in. I am giving a 1 star review because their only gluten free options are yogurt or fruit. And as someone who also doesn’t do dairy that means my only option is a cup of fruit. There aren’t many cafes in the area that offer gluten free options, if y’all could even just have gluten free bread for sandwiches y’all would get so much more business. Also teach your baristas the differences between lattes and cappuccinos, if I wanted that much foam I’d order a cappuccino.

I'm a regular customer here, would give 5 stars, but had a bad experience with them last time. ordered a sandwich, it came significantly smaller than usual, I approached the barista who took my order, and she said that they were running out of that kind of bread, so she made it out of smaller piece that they had. I noted to her that I was paying the same price for this sandwich as for the much bigger one that they usually make, she just looked at me appologeticaly, no refund offer, no "let me remake it for you", would like management to see to this issue, please.

This cafe has that turn of the century vibe: cozy but a little grotty and run-down, the same old snacks wrapped in Saran wrap, the chalk board menu, etc. Unfortunately, the matcha latte is awful; they add that nasty sweetener that makes it taste nothing like matcha (I honestly don't understand why anybody makes a matcha latte like this; nobody likes it). Pretty good free wifi. Overall, this place desperately needs a refresh both in terms of the interior and the menu/drinks. It will do in a pinch of I avoid the matcha, but I don't see much reason to come back.

  • Vasilios Soursos

Nice place to come take a break and recharge or to just get some work done. Can’t speak to the coffee but I got the hot pastrami sandwich and it was good. Seemed a bit lacking in meat given the price - I’d say if it was stacked one or two slices higher it would’ve been perfect. Other than that the flavour was good and everything was fresh. Finished with the giant chipped chocolate chip cookie which was just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely stop in if you need a quick recharge or workspace!

I love the San Franciscan sandwich. That, plus a large coffee is a beautiful combination! Sometimes I order to-go, but several times I’ve sat inside to study and work. Staff create a great atmosphere with super fast WiFi, many power outlets, plants, and comfy chairs. Really a perfect neighborhood cafe.

Great vibes, nice staff, lots of options for nomz and non-dairy creamer if you need it. The bagels themselves are just meh but serve as a good vehicle for their awesome sandwiches. The lady lox is super well priced for having smoked salmon. I usually get takeout but also meet up with a friends and eat in occasionally. Always plentiful seating.

Great atmosphere! Many locals the coffee is gourmet, and so are the sweets. They are a delight, and the friendly staff is always waiting to help with your order and answer any questions you have. They offer breakfast sandwiches, Lite snacks, coffee drinks, and other assorted drinks. Try one of their smoothies. The Mango Banana Smoothie is my favorite it’s delicious. Bring your laptop and do some work. This coffee house is wifi ready.

  • Megan Turner

This place is an amazing and cozy neighborhood coffee-watering-hole for locals (and tourists). The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting. If you need to work, you don't feel like you are being watched or timed (i.e., you can camp out and coffee refills are $1), which is a major plus! There are outlets galore, too! Also, if you're feeling hungry, don't sleep on their breakfast bagels. They're consistently satisfying.

  • Luke Bruner

Lots of good about this well located neighborhood coffee shop. Good hours, good treats, good service, neat mural. Great layout of furniture and lots of great outlets. The bathroom could be a bit better kept, including the door and handle needing some work. The big e special is among the best breakfast deals in the district. Everyone is hard working and friendly. A little more TLC and this would be 5 stars.

  • Kelsey Martin

I live nearby so I come here a lot. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome and the coffee is premade but still good. I just wouldn't get any espresso drinks (which is what I usually like to get at cafes) - I've tried their cappuccino three times and didn't like it all three times. Too much foam and too bitter for me. The ambiance of the cafe is really nice if you're looking for a place to study or hang out.

  • Anthony Hernandez

I rate this 5 stars solely based on the fact that the San Franciscan sandwich they have here is the BEST SANDWICH IN THE CITY. I would happily fight anyone who disagrees with me once they've had it. The herb mayo and the perfect mix of ingredients served between some super tasty torta-style bread make this sandwich something I am constantly returning for. ~The vibes are solid here too~

  • Kimberly Ann Graham

A pleasant little surprise of a coffee shop! The interior decor goes out of it's way to make you comfortable in this neighborhood original. Comfy couches and plenty of tables as well. A nice selection of coffee offerings. I didn't order food but next time, I'm going to have to! Everything that I saw come out, looked delish! Free WiFi, get the password at the counter.

  • Bee Gee

This cafe has a great ambience. The ladies working the front are very kind and helpful. The espresso is strong, full bodied & the croissant sandwich was absolutely delicious! I was able to focus and get a lot done and will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you lovely people!

They have good sandwiches and wraps for nice decent prices but to be honest all the people staring at their laptops make it a quite boring office like environment You don't feel comfortable having a vivid chat with friends or letting your kid play on the ground there. It's a replacement for where people used libraries before, but then with good coffee and food

  • Majeston “Mike” Hanna

A nice place to meet with someone and share a drink with or possibly spot if tea if that is the kind of consumer of the libation you are. Good amount of power outlets to not have to fight over some juice for your smart device of choice and spaced out enough to not be forced to share smells with the person who always has one that will not smell right with you.

  • Daniel Flores

This coffee shop has it all. I went in there for a meeting with a client ordered a regular coffee and it was good. unfortunately I wasn’t able to be any of their pastries. But the place overall was clean big open. Space bathrooms were clean as well and they had a friendly staff.

I am enchanted by Cafe Enchante✨ Their breakfast sandwiches, their matcha and chai lattes, their smoothies with protein powder, oh my! Not to mention their delicious sandwiches. I have done EXTENSIVE research on sandwich options at coffee shops in the area and Enchante is the clear winner . Do yourself a favor and swing on by .

I 've only recently been there. Like the place very much. Alot of wood/brick in decor. Nice tables, dim lighting, and nice staff. A quiet hideaway to be alone with one's thoughts or to use free WiFi. Delicious breakfast and sandwich choices. I had a wonderful BLT with Avocado on toasted rye. Hmm! Coffee choices are good, too.

  • Lida Warson

This is a good spot to do work. Pros: -They have wifi and outlets -There are good lunch and coffee options (for vegans too) -It is in a nice neighborhood Cons: -It's not dirty but I wouldn't say it's particularly clean. The tables were sticky when I went and there was an odd odour. -$5 minimum charge for credit card payments.

I wish there were more cafes like this in San Francisco. It’s spacious, has comfy couches, kind owners, great coffee and sandwiches. They play quiet jazz and the environment is really warm inside. It’s affordable, laidback and tasty.

It's a cozy place specially when you are with someone nice, beautiful and great to talk to. We ordered small machiato, medium mocha and 2 bagels with cream cheese and it cost more than $16. I would of gave it a 5 stars instead 4 stars if the lady spoked more clearly and a bit pricy.

  • lynn ht

It's a really spacious, friendly, mellow place. 4 stars because it's great and I love it. Sandwiches and food it good. Missing one star because I'm not a fan of coffee in airpots (tho always hot and ok) and although desserts are good and they have good options, they aren't stellar.

  • Bartolo Espana-Austin

Pros: Free Wi-Fi. Great work environment. Casual conversation. Good prices. Good coffee. Good food. I give this place a 5/5 just because it's better than the others around town for getting work done. Cons: The furniture is dirty though and some things could keep updated.

  • Steven Huh

Quite good bagel breakfast and sandwiches, well made and fresh ingredients. The couple who own the place are attentive and hardworking to make their sandwiches and hot food offerings good. I like the vibe and the laid back feel. I get breakfast there, as I live nearby.

  • Jeff Chu

The atmosphere is great for studying and working. Lots of computer outlets, tables and light. Drinks aren't good except the regular coffee. Veggie sandwich was ok but the tomatoes weren't ripe yet. Service was quick but not overly friendly. Prices are good.

A wifi cafe in the Outer Richmond district, a pretty nice spot to work at. There are a couple of vegetarian options, but they are pretty scarce on the menu. The coffee is decent, but doesn't quite match up to a few of the coffee spots in the area.

Hidden gem on Geary, great coffee and food, nice place to sit for a bit. Good quality at a fair price. $6 for a croissant breakfast sandwich loaded with egg and your choice of cheese/meat (or not) made to order. Don't forget to add avo ;).

  • logan healy-tuke

The great prices and free wifi attract a robust and chatter-less midday clientele. They perch on high chairs near corner windows and mellow in magenta-lined couches, eyes on textbooks, highlighters in hands and Macs on laps. Value here

  • Kyle McCarthy

This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to in the city. The family that owns it is so sweet, they make great sandwiches and wraps, the coffee is good, and there's a lot of seating. Great place to go to get work done on the laptop.
