The service here is excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the waiter truly was an expert at his craft. Every little part of our dining experience was comfortable. We ordered the crab claws as an appetizer (this was a mistake) and got that plus the pizza very quickly. The food was pretty good, nothing to write home about but definitely worth trying, and based on that alone I’d go here again. However the crab is not for the the faint of heart, as it whisked me away into an unfortunate display of gastric distress. Shortly after finishing our trip, I found myself on my knees blowing chunks in the parking lot. I then proceeded to drive home and unleash fiery liquid havoc on my toilet until that liquid was blood. The crab claw appetizer at this establishment will have even the non-religious praying to god within two hours. Interestingly however, my girlfriend whom I had shared the meal with, was completely fine the entire night. I will not be returning because of this traumatic crab calamity, but your experience may certainly vary.

The food was okay, but not great. Recommend having lunch here, but there are certainly better Italian restaurants in the area for dinner. Good portions, especially the sausage appetizer which was huge for just $11. They didn't have any veal when we visited, so we had some salad with salmon on top, some pasta, and some meatball sandwiches. Not a huge fan of fennel in sausages, but that is common in some parts of Italy. Meatballs were good, especially the sauce and the bread was fresh. My family is Italian (Southern), so for me personally this restaurant is more of an American-Italian style food, not so much a traditional Italian style. Try it for yourself. By the way, the ambience is better when seated in the back of the restaurant, where you place your orders. All orders are made and paid for at the counter in back of the restaurant. Then you display a number on your table and the food will be delivered to your table when ready. Sorry, didn't take any photos this time.

The food has pretty good with a very authentic Italian flavor. The artichoke appetizer was amazing, a little salad is served as a side with the combo plate. My children and I ordered two combo plates. Which were great, however each combo was filled with one meat-ball, a portion of lasagna, “1” ravioli and a bunch of spaghetti under the meat tomato sauce. It would be better if in the plate’s presentation It would be easy to differentiate between the three pastas. Also if it could bring at least 3 raviolis and less spaghetti to balance it. :) BUT The portion was reasonable balance with the price, and with all the food mentioned above we were 4 people very satisfied. The place is great. The restaurant is located in the middle of downtown with a beautiful view to the Giant Eyeball monument. Our waitress was very nice, however the service needs improvement from ALL the waiters in general. Maybe working on becoming a little more friendly, polite and get trained to not be so obvious in their biased behavior to make of this a better place.

Very Bizarre! You order and pay for your food at the bar then get your drink, go fill it up and find your table. Very odd considering they ask for a tip less than five minutes of being in the building. I’m so surprised by the ratings being fairly good. There is no lighting to even see what you’re eating. The mini table lights are tinted red and serve no purpose. Writing this from the table. Now that I’m done with my food…. I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe I’ve had too much good food and it makes this food taste like bleh. Too many good reviews on the food while my chicken parmigiana tasted like a dog shook bath water all over it. I’m glad I tried it and I will never come back. To add: my server came to my table once. To bring my food. I’m relieved and feel less guilty about not tipping upfront. Should definitely be minimum wage staff since they aren’t full service.

The service is always excellent, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. I recently had the opportunity to dine at Campisi's, and I was very impressed with the cheese bread and lasagna. The cheese bread was perfectly crispy and had a generous amount of cheese, and the lasagna was flavorful and filling. I also enjoyed the Campisi's Special pizza, which is topped with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Campisi's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend Campisi's to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in Dallas. Greg and Mitch were both excellent servers. 10/10

Honestly, have to say that I was quite disappointed in this location. The parking was really hard to find, and we were not even greeted. We sat down at a table, only to find out that we needed to stand at the counter to order and pay before sitting down. Nothing like the Mockinbird location And the service was not there at all. Honestly, I don’t even know why I left a tip because no one helped with any kind of service, except for the person taking our money at the register. It was quite odd to say the least not what I was expecting From a Campisi’s location.

I asked for salad dressing on the side and received a salad that was drenched with dressing. It was for later but had to eat it right away, tried to eat it but ended up throwing it away because it was too soggy to eat. That was half my lunch down the drain. Lady initially answered phone but was hard to understand as she spoke fast n not very good english. The prices are also going up sooo fast. Used to be a much better experience but not so much anymore.

The atmosphere here is great, which makes it all the worse that the food and service were terrible. Our waiter seemed uninterested; didn’t recommend any drinks from the bar. The chicken parmigiana was definitely redropped, leaving it rubbery and gross. The manager sat a the bar watching the entire restaurant not really seeming to care or check on anyone. I would recommend you spend your money and night somewhere.

What a horrible experience overall. The veal Parmesan was disgusting. It was like eating a shoe. The meatballs had a very strange spice that I wasn’t familiar with and they were relatively cold. I will say that the raviolis were decent and the lasagna was acceptable. They put us at a table right near the front door when it was 107° outside. Our waiter must’ve just started. He literally brought us our check two bites into our dinner. I do not recommend this place at all.

Stopped by for lunch on the weekend and the restaurant was unusually quiet. The staff took a long time to get our orders and side dishes despite us being 1 out of the 2 tables in the restaurant that day. Pasta was tasty but the pizza itself was alright. The appetizer for bread and garlic bread only came with a few small slices. Overall, I don’t think it was worth the price for the quality & taste of food that was prepared.

The ambiance and the food was pretty good. I am always leery of trying authentic Italian food especially when it doesn't taste homemade but this was homemade. Had the sampler plate lunch special. Meat lasagna, ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. It was larger than expected for the price plus a drink garlic bread and a side salad. Worth the price. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The sausage was spicy and delicious. Definitely recommend if you're downtown looking for a quick lunch.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the dfw area. The portion sizes are huge and the flavor is phenomenal. Parking sucks and that’s the only horrible thing I can say since it’s in downtown DALLAS but if you can get a spot, the food is so good you’ll forget about that.

So, so good!!! Started with the Calamari and moved onto the Veal Parmigiana. Sauces for both courses were completely different and beyond delicious. Veal was exceptional and the service was fantastic. I can see why it has been a downtown staple for so long!!

Absolutely awful. Took over an hour and a half between ordering and getting cold food. Zero compensation, pregnant ladies at the table going hungry. And manager was a completely unprofessional jerk. Didn't know the words, "I'm sorry" and refused to take responsibility. Should NEVER come here, even with reservation, this restaurant will not serve you. Awful and fire management asap.

The cuisine was wonderful ...I always suggest the side of meatballs to start with ..pars perfect with a great cocktail. The Staff was friendly and helpful...they were under a bit of construction at the time I decided to have my reprieve from the outside world and I was impressed with the way they coordinated the obstacles and still maintained optimum service and quality.

We had a great time at Campisis! We started off with a bruschetta! Omg! This was probably my favorite thing there! It was so flavorful, the bread was amazing the tomatoes were great….. it was amazing. Then we ate the spinach chicken pizza, and the bbq chicken pizza! They were both great!!! We enjoyed our time there and look forward to going again!!!! The workers were friendly! Great place

My Shrimp Scampi pasta was good. My partners lasagna was ok. I could taste too much Oregano. Huge servings and we had a great young lady helping us. If you don’t already live Downtown, take an Uber there because parking is a mess. Also there is no guest wifi as is suggested in your settings.

So glad to find a place open for supper on the 4th of July. We were kindly greeted. The appetizer came out quick and the pizza we ordered came out quickly also. No complaints at all.. The atmosphere is very cozy also. And, personally, I liked the 80s music they were playing.

Was recommended to us for our weekend getaway in Dallas. We were seated immediately only to be left sitting for 15-20minutes. Made eye contact with every server and still was not acknowledged, however the large party next to us had undivided attention from staff.

It's a Dallas classic that is still doing a great job. The Shrimp Scampi appetizer was really good, super garlicky but the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Pizza was spot on thin crust as Campisi's does it and all around a good meal with excellent service.

The pizza at this place is amazing! I had pepperoni with jalapeños. It was hot and fresh and thin crust (less carbs). It is really dark on one side of the restaurant, but you can sit on the side by the street with lots of natural light.

Nice outside patio in downtown Dallas with a cool view. Food was average. Restraunt was nice. I ordered steak but they came back and told me they ran out of steak. Not alot of people in the restraunt and it was only 6:30pm. Staff was awesome and friendly and service was speedy.

Honestly, loved this place! My server Paul was top notch!!! Excellent Mules! Crazy delish fried ravioli! Greek pizza was really really good and loved that there was an outdoor patio! You'll see tons of dogs walking the ally and the patio faces the giant eyeball sculpture!

Absolutely the worst take food I have ever gotten in my life. My order was wrong. Eggplant parm was horrible. Everything is overpriced. Avoid at all costs. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever tried. Every other place in the area is much better.

3.5 Cute little place! Larry was so sweet and very helpful with recommendations for places to check out in Dallas. The lasagna portion was HUGE and very good. Kind of basic Italian food but the happy hour menu is nice and the ambiance is wonderful.
