This review is about the general customer service that I received on the 25th of July. After having spent a big amount of money on purchasing a monthly travelcard I accidentally dropped it before getting on the train. Two tickets inspector fined me £80 despite explaining the situation and showing proof of purchase and oyster ID. These same inspectors also assured me that I could use that fine to reach my destination without problem but as I went back to canada water to find my oyster and tried to go through the barriers shortly after I was met by a man who told me that I had to purchase ANOTHER travelcard and for that spend more money. I explained once more the situation and I was met with comments such as “you have to be responsable for your mistakes” and he even tried to take away my receipt that was the only proof I had. On top of this I had just enought money to pay for my cats operation so I was left with having to borrow money and arrive late to the vet appoinment. Absolutely appalled.

Canada Water station provides very frequent Jubilee Line services to Central London via London Bridge and East London via Canning Town; London Overground also offers services every 3-4 minutes north, calling at all stations to Highbury and Islington (half terminate at Dalston Junction). and 4 trains an hour to Clapham Junction, New Cross, West Croydon via Anerley and Crystal Palace via New Cross Gate. Bus connections offer lengthy journeys to Chislehurst for a small taste of the countryside in Zone 6 and the locale of the station, in tandem with Surrey Quays provides a deep shopping experience in one of south-east London's liveliest neighbourhoods.

Big tube and bus station. Gets busy during rush hours as from my experience today found there to be a number of Bacon school kids hanging around waiting for their bus home. So much so that it packs out buses especially the 381 going towards Peckham this evening. There is a library opposite which is nice and quiet when there are not school kids in there. You can top up your oyster card downstairs or on the TFL oyster card app if you much prefer that! :) Overall, nice modern station! From what I've seen it seem to be clean! :)

Four years ago this station was good - not over crowded in the mornings and service reliable. However it’s a different story now. It’s now massively overcrowded in the morning rush hour and the Jubilee line service suffers regular delays causing platforms to back up. If the overground also suffers a problem you’re stuffed as the buses are few and far between and the Surray quays one way system regularly clogged now they reduced the lanes. If you need a reliable work commute I’d consider other parts of London.

This spacious new station completed in 2010 with the massive above-ground “glass drum”above the escalators/stairwell flooding the interior with natural light. Obviously inspired and echoing the acclaimed Arnos Grove Station designed by Charles Holden in 1932. Cavernous Industrial interior; all naked concrete, steel, pipes and glass - 40 shades and textures of grey and then some. Clean, unadorned and effortlessly dehumanised. Inconceivably no public toilets here, only in the adjoining bus station.

Had to witness an elderly lady bullied a young Asian girl in the morning at the station about three weeks ago and none of the passengers stood up for her just because of her race! The young girl was reading an interesting book called the Law of Ones but that old woman in yellow jacket pushed her to make her move forward without any manners. Sorry for the poor young girl. Shame on that old woman, she has shown me how nasty Londoners are and racism is still here and there in London.

Frequently busy - often uses crowd control. Sometimes even shuts the front doors to prevent people from entering the station for extended periods of time. Very inefficiently laid out. Clean. I’d advise travelling to Rotherhithe or Surrey quays (for overground) or Bermondsey (for Jubilee) if it doesn’t take you much longer to get there. Perhaps the Elizabeth line will ease up the congestion currently making this station one to avoid entering.

Canada Water station is one of my favourite stations in London. I'd say it's one of the cleanest, well maintained stations in London. It does get really crowded at certain times in the day, mainly in the morning between 8am-9am as it's an interchanging point with the Overground. I never understood why sometime there's so station staff in the evenings, whilst in the morning there's only 1 staff at the gates. Maybe TfL should review this.

I love the Overground the trains are so comfortable and clean and it is a great transport system. These days TFL have to be commended for keeping the stations clean and tidy, well signposted with well trained staff who are keen to help. Proud of our transport system in London and the government needs to keep supporting it and ensuring stations are staffed at night and people feel safe.

Relatively good station when the service runs well. Unfortunately over the last year or so the Jubilee Line has reduced down to a relatively infrequent service with trains sometimes coming within minutes of each other or several minutes after. Often in the morning I do not get enough time to actually board trains as people are taking so long to deboard.

Terrible stop early in the morning. In just under platforms ovargraund. Trains coming from New cross, New cross gate and west croydon, people jostle and can use only one escalator. Too large station up at ticket counters and bellow the situation is not normal.

Like Canada Water Station! It is convenient point to catch Underground (Jubilee Line) or Overground trains to Noth or East London. Also, many bus routes are located here or nearby. Distance to Canada Water Library and Surrey Quays shopping centre are minimal.

Not a bad section 12 station connects London Underground Jubilee line with London Overground which serves a South bound service....New Cross,Crystal Palace,West Croydon,Clapham Junction, and also a north bound service to Highbury and Islington …

  • Daniel Mckenzie

The station has good interchange between the Jubilee line, London Overground and London Buses from the bus station above. I do like and appreciate it's design quite a bit as well as the accessibility with lifts, escalators and multiple exits.

Clean and friendly area and just a 20 minute walk from my outdoor yoga classes through the wonderful woodlands to our riverside mats on the class. Pop in to our Yogamanda class and say hi or enjoy a green tea in any of the great local cafes

Canada Water is a London Underground and London Overground station located in Canada Water, in south London, England. It takes its name from Canada Water, a lake which was created from a former dock in the Port of London.

Would be great place for study, but screaming children just below don't help to focus studying . But if someone speaks louder on top gets reprimanded . Kids should have seprete room. In proper libraries is quiet and nice.

  • Allan

Not a great connection between Jubilee Line and Overground. Trains never run on time, commuting in the pick hour it's a very bad experience due to the lack of any information and overcrowded platforms.

  • Eve Fitzpatrick

This station is awful it’s such a small station for how busy it is, the trains are always delayed and the platform is always packed for three delayed trains I HATE THIS STATION DO NOT GO

  • Dhaya Online

Very crowded station with jubilee and overground lines in zone 2. There are not much clear directions or signs. There is a bus terminal outside the station which is even more crowded.

  • Kieran McGregor

Scared for my safety!, saw a man assault a woman (looked like hulk) scared and young , saw hulk run after her and choke her by the neck, had bare scary nightmare fan #boibaniex

  • Clive Leaper

Stunning. My years of inbuilt reluctance at going anywhere near the place due to my aversion to being punched in the face were largely unfounded. Who'd have funked it?

  • Simon Crisp

Travelled out of rush hour. Lots of space to walk around. No issues. 2 minute walk between overground and underground. No need to go up and over via ticket hall.

  • Kiki Ng

The square is so beautiful - the lake, the sit-out spots, the little bridge, the ducks, the floating breeding spots and the food carts... It's beautiful …

  • Elisa Huertas

Busy station in the mornings ( Mon - Fri) with crowd control in place very often. I’d recommend checking @jubileline twitter account before travelling

  • cristi cristian

Great station that links the Jubille line, the Overground, and buses to the rest of London. The building itself is massive. Pretty clean as well.

  • Christina Hsieh

The station itself is basic without facilities on site. You will need to walk to the shopping centre nearby to buy water or go to the toilet.

  • Juan Motes

Very helpful staff, delays on the trains are quite often on the mornings so it is good to have this into account when planning a journey.

  • Retana Vélez

Modern, comfortable, neat and clean station, connecting to the Overground and outside the station is a lake.which refers to Canada.

  • Oussama Benamane

So crowded in the morning. Impossible to get on the northband trains of the jubilee line, they all arrived full from Startford

  • B. W

Very nice staff. Overground and tube. Pink oyster reader to save money on journey. Can get super crowded during rush hour.

  • Enrique T

Lots of shops, some nice restaurants and coffee shops. Underground and overground station make it very convenient.

  • mark brown

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with this station usually quite busy but there is plenty of places to sit

  • Lauras Mejeris

I really like what business around have done with this square. Looks so much better now. …

  • The Reid

Like the entrance to Hades. Deep tunnels and deeply depressing all round. 5 shades of grey decor.

  • Shoaib Taimur

Horrible crowd control during rush hour. Avoid it like the league between half seven and nine.

  • Szokolay György

Busy station, Jubilee line and Overground. There are a few shops, coffees down the entrance.

  • Junction J

Modern buildings that surround a plaza and loads of shops with a train station and a libary.

  • Susan Harris

We went to The Titanic Exhibition and it was great. We'll worth going and reasonably priced.

  • Michael Shodeke

Modern station for change overs between Underground and Overground. The station is massive.

Once I was on the tube to Jubilee but went slept and woke up somewhere else but it's good

  • M .Sinha

Cancellation of trains is frequent. It is inconvenient as there is a gap of 15 minutes.
