Pretty cool spot. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. There is plenty of room for fishing. There's a small playground for the kids. There's also bathrooms available. There is tons of room for parking. This is definitely a great place to bring the family to Barbecue, listen to some music, and do a little fishing.

Big open space to do lots of activities. It's a great place to be especially in the summer, since it's cool due to being near to the water. The sidewalk and lot are paved well so you can ride a scooter or bike and there are big spaces to do things like play frisbee with friends. 10/10

I love this place. Great community gathering spot, lots of fishermen, a variety of birds in large numbers, a beautiful panoramic view of the sea, lots of parking and even public bathrooms. People often sell food right outside too. I love to stop here after work from time to time.

Beautiful pier overlooking Jamaica Bay. Good place for watching fishermen and their catch. Also the incoming airplanes for JFK Airport. Many benches with locations in the shade and out in full sunshine. I came here today on a bike trip and it was a great place to take a break.

Cool place to hang out on evenings with family and friends. Busy in the summer time with people fishing and children riding bikes, scooters or a good ole game of tag. Restroom on site but it does not seem to be open at any point. A lot of parking available as well.

Nice place to visit with family. Beautiful views and tons of people fishing everywhere. Also love that there's an open parking lot steps away from where you can watch the views. Very easy access to belt parkway right outside the entrance/exit of the pier. More

Enjoy walking around carnarsie pier which is an amazing experience especially if you are out out early the beautiful sunrise is so refreshing and relaxing that you glow with excitement! Some of the friendly people greets you with confidence and compassion!

we love this pier, we come there with the children for a small picnic. but now there are a lot of people walking there with dogs and there is dog everywhere... the parking lot smells terrible of urine, taxi drivers pour their urine right

Had a retirement reunion Aug 3 ,2022. It was hosted by Cordelia and Marcella. It was a nice breezy day. Had a good time with all that showed up that day. We will continue to celebrate year after year there. The restrooms were out of order

Nice place to sit and relax. Folks around fishing an having a good time. Grills going kids playing long and lively walking trail that goes to Gateway Mall area and pass Shirley Chisholm Park which in itself is vast and loaded for walkers.

I remember going there as a child with my parents to fish and just walk around. It has changed so much , before there was no railing I would sit on the edge with a fishing pole seems so long ago. It looks nice the lot was paved very well

Great place to visit with the kids, especial walking or bike riding & if you like sport fishing. It's usually breezy & cold so bring a sweater just in case. Parking is available free of charge. It's right off the belt Rockaway exit.

I'm a resident of Canarsie of 21yrs and have seen the Pier in better condition in previous years. They need to clean up the Pier!!! The fishermen and the people that frequent the Pier should do a better job maintaining the Pier and

Beautiful place. The only reason why 4 stars is that you come to have a quiet time, but people park and blast super loud beats from a pickup truck loaded with huge speakers. And the staff/workers don't ask them to lower it.

The place is usually a nice relaxing spot with not too many loud people. I found it pretty clean and I usually always find parking even if it's a bit crowded. It's mom's favorite spot to watch people fish.

It's nice here but it would be better if people cleaned up after themselves. There was a lot of trash on the ground in the barbecue area. Also trash on the rocks at the waters edge.

It’s ok just a pierna lot of people come to fish here it’s quite but there’s always a few they come here to make more noise than they should. But overall a fun place to come relax.

Loved going for a walk near the water. Definetely was calming and a great vibe. I enjoyed a spontaneous bike ride from a vemdor nearby which was the highlight of my visit

Beach needs a clean up right away! This is a potentially beautiful natural area loaded with all kinds of birds. Needs some attention from National Patks.

Always a good time at Canarsie Pier, great way to end my Summer. So if u looking for a cool breeze on a hot summer day this is the place to be.

Nice and comfortable, good view with accessable parking. Grills to cook out. Need your own charcoal. Avoid the potheads unless you smoke.

Brought jerk chicken from a truck outside it was very dry they get three stars the side were delicious. The pier is awesome
