Stellar selling/buying experience with Carvana - easiest vehicle transactions I've ever experienced for sure. However it's been ~6 months since I purchased the vehicle (Feb, 2023), and I've had the SUV in the shop for issues for a total of 4+ weeks. After selling my truck to Carvana, I purchased a 2018 Audi Q5 that I absolutely love to drive. About 3 months after purchase the vehicle began sending warnings to the dashboard that antifreeze fluid levels were low. After trouble shooting I took it to repair shop where they determined the water pump needed replacing. I purchased the premium warranty and it paid for the replacement of the water pump (which is really unusual for a car with only 34K miles), and the warranty also paid $30/day for rental car for up to 10 days (total of 2 days). Just for the record -- the warranty company needs to revise their daily rental allowance as you can't get a rental car for less than $50/day with taxes, etc. About 2 months after this incident on July 27, 2023, I drove my 3 yr-old son to SeaWorld in San Antonio for a few days at the park. It was about a 90-min drive from Austin and all was fine until we had to wait in line in the vehicle approaching one of 5 kiosks where you show your parking pass and proceed into the park. Two cars from the kiosk, the vehicle shuts off. All attempts to restart fail as the engine doesn't even turn over. Long story short - we called tow truck to pick up the vehicle and drop it off at the nearest Firestone repair center, which was fully covered by warranty. The next thing to figure out was how I was going to get my 3 yr-old, the car seat, luggage, cooler, etc. to the hotel, and get a rental car so we can enjoy the rest of our trip. In 100+ degree heat and with the help of the SeaWorld parking staff, they helped us get our stuff to the Uber area on foot (about a half mile). Uber arrived and I installed the car seat, loaded the luggage and we proceeded to Enterprise rental car where I secured a reservation. BTW - Enterprise says they deliver cars to your location, however not one of the 4 locations within 10 miles of our location would deliver a car to us. We loaded up in the rental car and headed back to the park, entering the gate at 4:15 pm. So we missed 3/4 of the first day at the park. We returned to Austin July 28 after enjoying a full day at the park. I received a call from Firestone July 29 informing me the entire motor needed to be replaced. At this time the vehicle had ~37K miles. Good news -- the warranty covers the engine replacement and it won't cost me a dime. Bad news -- I've had to rent a car for close to 3 weeks now, and ETA for getting the engine replaced and ready for pick up is 8/26. So rental of a vehicle will cost me about $2K if that deadline is met, and I will be reimbursed a maximum of $300 for the rental car. I called both the warranty company (SilverRock) and Carvana and neither could make an exception and cover more of the rental car expense. This was a total, catastrophic failure of a Carvana product that was sold to me as a certified Audi vehicle. Offering only $30/day for rental car is laughable, and limiting to 10 days max is unrealistic when not taking into account the situation and the repairs needed. Carvana -- I hope you'll urge SilverRock to implement a sliding scale for max rental vehicle days to coincide with repairs needed, and eta to complete them. While I'm getting the motor replaced under warranty, I still feel like I was hung out to dry with rental car expenses.

Buying from Carvana has been an absolute nightmare. I was in a car accident three weeks ago that sent me into labor. I have been recovering from child birth, dealing with insurance, dealing with needing a new car, all on top of taking care of a newborn and a toddler. We decided to go with Carvana after a friend recommended them. The process of picking out a vehicle was easy. Even the online process of buying. Our bank sent them a check and they took our down payment from our account. The vehicle was completely paid for. We even extended our rental car hoping to only need a vehicle for another week. Then things fell apart. We purchased the vehicle on a Wednesday and scheduled the pick up for the following Monday. I checked the website every day to see what documents needed to be submitted. Under that particular section, there were two items listed with little green check marks indicating that I submitted everything. On Friday at 8:50pm CST, I received an email (after Carvana is closed) that I failed to meet the document deadline. This was the first notification I received showing I needed to submit any additional information. I called the very next day day and the “advocate” was unable to help me continuing to say that I was the one that did not meet the deadline even though it was their online system that failed to notify me. We decided to continue our purchase with a new pick up date of Thursday. We are now spending more money than anticipated on our rental because we need to get to work and newborns have doctors appointments. We also live in a Rural area where public transportation does not exist. We made sure that all additional documents were received, and we waited until the big day. Our appointment on Thursday was at 1:15pm. We received notice that same day at 11:53am that they were going to have to delay our pick up due to their inability to get the vehicle inspected (which takes less than 30 mins). The new pick up date would now be Saturday. I called Carvana to speak with someone and am given to a person they like to call an advocate. To be perfectly clear, they are advocating for their company, not the customer. This person and their “supervisor“ completely failed at their chance to make the car buying experience and customer service experience excellent. Even though they are completely at fault for both delays, they will not help you at all by giving you a next day appointment time, offering to cover your rental, loss wages for taking off work for pick up, nor reimbursement for the delivery fee (which does state is non refundable - this must be how they make their money off you.) They “help” you by giving you options like, rescheduling your new delivery date (which once again isn’t guaranteed), allowing you to pick your new delivery date (which again isn’t guaranteed), or refunding your purchase (minus the delivery fee and will take several days). We feel, considering we needed a vehicle two weeks ago, that our money is being held hostage by making us gamble with the next non guaranteed delivery date. We have been losing money on loss wages and a rental car since Monday with no guaranteed end in sight. Carvana is not a pro customer company and unless you have money and time to throw away, do not shop here. I do not know how these “advocates” sleep at night working for such a terrible company.

Overall Experience: Not worth it in the slightest (*Please read further*) Delivery: The delivery was great. Very convenient and the representative who dropped the car off was amazing. I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but he was so helpful and informative. The Aftermath: Oh what a nightmare this vehicle has been. 1) The vehicle came with cracks and chips in the windshield, and the joint wield had been stuffed with silicone presumably to "prevent" a leak (not advertised). I spend over a month trying to find a facility that would fix the windshield because many shops will not work on glass that has been tampered with with silicone. (Thankfully, the warranty covered the costs of the windshield and professional cleaning of the joint wield.) 2) Fast forward one week after owning (past the 7 day return)... I then found out the windshield wipers did not work in the middle of a downpour going 55 mph... 3) Took the vehicle to the shop where, $2,100 later, I found out that before the silicone was put in the corner of the windshield the water damage was so bad that the vehicle needed a new fuse box, JBE module, and windshield wiper motor... (Warranty covered these costs, but my car sat in a shop for two weeks immediately after purchasing). 4) The vehicle also came with interior buttons that did not work (not advertised) as well as a non-functioning navigation system (not advertised). I took the vehicle to a BMW dealership to estimate the repairs for these items... & boy am I glad I did. $4,400 later I discovered that the vehicle needed the rear breaks, pads and rotors replaced. It needed both front thrust arms replaced. The vehicle had damage to the front struts and mounts and those needed to be replaced as well and then needed to be realigned. (The breaks were not covered by warranty, but the other items were.) Now, Carvana did write me a check for $1000 to cover the replacement of the breaks and rotors and the recommended maintenance of a coolant flush and a/c servicing which was very kind of them. However, today marks day 102 of me owning the vehicle and I just picked it back up from the shop from the final repairs. Overall, in those 102 days, my vehicle has spent at least 1/3 - 1/2 of that time in the shop. It has been such a hassle being without a vehicle and trying to coordinate with multiple different repair facilities. There were a few Carvana associates that were adamant about helping through this process and I am very thankful to them, but some not so much. One associate had the audacity to tell me.. "well that's what you get when you buy a used luxury vehicle..." um, excuse me my vehicle supposedly went through a 150 point inspection and had this many issues. No, sounds to me like someone didn't do their job well and I got sold a BIG 'OL LEMON!

I would give this negative stars if I could... This is the WORST experience I've ever had trying to spend $30K at a company. It's actually laughable. First off, the staff was extremely unprofessional at every point in this experience. I am a co-owner with my dad on my title for a trade-in, and my dad lives in Chicago. I was told SEVERAL times by MULTIPLE CS people that he would not need to be there for the purchase. I filled out all of the information, uploaded the required documents, had everything ready to go. The appointment was set for July 4th. Three days before the appointment, they called saying my dad needed to be at the appointment. I was scrambling to find a way to get him there since it was a Holiday weekend and he lived in Chicago. To keep the appointment, I bought tickets for my dad to fly into Austin for the day to be there for the sole purpose of getting this vehicle. I spent $500 on those flights. The day before the appointment, I get a text from Carvana that the appointment had been CANCELED. With 0 explanation. It was 11pm so no one would pick up the phones either. Since it was less than 24 hours before my dads flight, I could not get a refund on it. I was out $500. They told me the reason for the appointment getting canceled was because the rep I worked with previously just forgot to submit the financial information I spent 20 minutes going over with her on the phone. The next available appointment was not until 1 week later. My dad could no longer make the trip. I was left having to make an appointment at the Travis County Title office to remove my dad from the title. More time and money wasted on this experience. Since my old car's registration was 1 month expired, I had to pay for the registration on the car I was intending to sell and also get it inspected. I then had to wait 3-4 weeks to get the new title in the mail. Once I FINALLY had the title in hand, and did every single thing these people asked me to do, I called in to see if there were any earlier appointments available so I can move forward with the purchase. They then decided to inform me that Capitol One requires a 24 month warranty and that their warranty company was only offering a 12-month warranty for this vehicle. So I could not move forward with that vehicle in the end and had to choose another car. Such a horrifyingly frustrating experience. There were countless hoops I had to jump through that so many people at this company kept overlooking. No effort was made on their end to make this right. I will never recommend Carvana to anyone. I went to Carmax and purchased a vehicle in a matter of a few hours.

Carvana is absolutely the worst. My initial encounter with them started in summer of 2021. I ordered a beautiful, low mileage z4 36s. After a number of delivery delays (3 i believe), the car was finally delivered. The driver was rushing to drop it off. I looked and lo, they damaged the front bumper during the delivery (looked like the vehicle was not properly secured on the flatbed). Needless to say i rejected the delivery and requested a repair. About a month later the deliver was reattempted. The repair job on the bumper was poor - debris under the paint and bubbling paint all over. I rejected the delivery and asked them ti fix. Another mon goes by and they finally attempt to redeliver the car - this time with new damage - the leather on the inside has cracked open and began to peel, probably due to the car being stored in excessive heat. Fast forward 6 months or so. I had negotiated a substantial refund due to poor service with the previous vehicle. I place an order for a low mileage porsche 911 which passed all Carvana inspections. After a couple of delays (took a few months, mind you) i got through to Carvana to find out the the car has engine trouble and has been towed to the Porsche dealer for repair. (How did it pass the famed Carvana 150 point inspection?). I cancelled that transaction. I came back to Carvana the third time (what can i say, negotiated refun was nice and guess i am a glutton for punishment) and ordered another 911. It took the car about 3 months to go through the inspection and photo process. I patiently waited. The delivery was scheduled and i had numerous assurances that the vehicle will be delivered on time. It never arrived. Why? The vehicle failed inspection due to non-functioning parking brake. The same parking brake that is marked fully functioning on the Carvana inspection report. The part for repair is unavailable and on the national backorder. My loan has expired and due to significantly higher interest rates i can no longer afford a Porsche. Moral of the story - never again. Carvana inspections are not worth the paper on which they are printed. Their delivery process is faulty - the car will be delayed and you may actually be overpaying for the car. They also require you to add the car to the insurance policy prior to delivery which may be a violation of state laws. Carvana is not a trustworthy dealer. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

If there was a - ☆ thats what I would rate my 1st experience with Carvana. Here I am 1/2 hour after my delivery appointment, and nothing. Called them to ask where was my auto, which at this point I had bought insurance and secured financing plus made a deposit in cash, was told by a representative that my purchase had being canceled. Now I am really ,not surprise but shocked. I have excellent credit, and was pre approved so this was really strange. Well after asking who canceled the sale or why, the lady who seems as confused as I was tells me that the car was already being sold to another customer, and that a glitch in the system allowed both of us to make the purchase. Very strange indeed.I am still waiting on them to call me back and see if they can right this very bad customer experience. Update 9/5/20 The representative call me back and told me that I will be getting my car after all, she was very apologetic and seems sincere about resolving this issue, which I appreciated. So I had to sign my contract again and finally my car showed up again in the Carvana app. with a delivery date of sep 7 8 am. So now I am without a vehicle for the week end, but its better than nothing ; or so I thought, because at around 8 pm I get a txt message with this: " Hi Adrian. We’re sorry to inform you that your Honda CR-V has been delayed as we have identified a concern that is outside of our standards that needs to be addressed prior to delivery. We will call you ASAP to provide you more specifics regarding this issue and talk about your options. Thank you for your patience as we know this is not the news you wanted to read today. " Now let's keep in mine that this is my first time with the online auto shopping business, but I am truly disappointed . Right now I don't know what to make of it. Seriously considering my options and online auto shopping might be out of the game. Update 9/6 /20 So I got a call from a nice customer services lady and she tell me that they found a bad rear axle hub in the vehicle and delivery will be delay until Wednesday. This is it for me I can trust this company anymore so I canceled my order. Needless to say that the people I talked to seems nice, but their system of handling vehicle sales needs improvement.

I am pleased to say that everyone I worked with at Carvana over the course of this experience was helpful and understanding. However I ordered a 4 year old vehicle that cleared the 150 point inspection. The first issue was that the delivery was delayed two weeks - understandable given supply chain issues right now. When the car arrived it looked great, but I had experience with the same model in the past and noticed some differences in performance. I took it the dealer for a full inspection. Turns out the car needed $10,000 dollars of work. The front axle and suspension needed complete rebuild, new battery, new shocks, collapsed engine mount. To make it worse, 3 of the 4 tires were mounted inside out!! A bunch of other (less concerning) things were not as described either: moderate engine rust, tree leaves and debris inside the engine, evidence of repainting (done poorly), a non-factory windshield, brakes and a replaced hood. To top it all off, the car came "detailed" but was totally dirty inside. I wanted to consider repairing the car but it was a nightmare trying to have SilverRock collaborate with the dealership. In the end I decided it wasn't worth it to keep this car and decided to purchase a vehicle with a traditional dealership instead. I'm left feeling like you get what you pay for. This business is a good concept and the customer service was great - they extended my 7 day trial period TWICE so that I had enough time to work with the warranty company and dealership to evaluate repairs and make a decision without pressure. When I ultimately decided to return, there was no argument. The team helped me schedule a time for them to pickup the car around my schedule, which is great. The concern is where these cars are sourced from and the apparently lousy inspection process, which is why I opted not to trade this car for another. I also wouldn't find it to be an honest business practice for Carvana to resell this car without addressing it's issues... so I'm hoping it doesn't go to an uneducated buyer. To anyone considering this service, make sure you have the car inspected by an authorized dealership during your trial.

In 10+ years of doing reviews I have never left less than a 4 star review….Today is the day. It’s very simple, I bought a car with 1700 miles on it, mostly on the fact that I assumed the best of Carvana and their seemingly transparent portrayal of the cars on their site. I assumed the defects on the website were what I would see when it was delivered. They highlight things, give close ups, and callout defects in the listing. That is honorable. What is not honorable is when glaring defects get “missed” and then when you pick up the car they act like that is to be expected with a “used car” or worse try to blame someone else that it happened “in transit” or something else. That is exactly what happened to me. When I showed up there were multiple, glaringly obvious damage spots that were not highlighted in the listing. If it wasn’t for this, or if they made ANY effort to make things right, this review would be 5 stars. Because most of the process with Carvana was smooth, and painless. But when you spend your hard earned money on a car, and you place trust in an online retailer who seemingly works hard to be transparent only to realize that is a facade of transparency, it ruins the experience. Beware when buying from Carvana. Expect there to be undisclosed issues, and expect your claim to be denied afterwards and to pay for it yourself. They may respond to this and say I have 7 days to return etc. Yes that is true, but at this point in the process it’s easier to take home the car I want and fix it then return and re do all of this again with someone else. Which is exactly what benefits Carvana, not you. They hide issues until the last moment in order get the sale all while saying “but you can still back out!” … and you get to deal with last minute issues just to save yourself even further headache down the line. If you are okay with this level of service you might have a good experience. Next time I buy a car I care about I certainly won’t be trusting Carvana to accurately portray and deliver as advertised.

05/27/2023 No one from Carvana have contacted me or addressed this concern I did report it on the app also. Great Car Buying Experience, Disappointed with Interior Cleanliness 05/20/2023 Dear Carvana Customer Support, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my overall satisfaction with my recent car buying experience through Carvana. The convenience, transparency, and simplicity of the process were exceptional, and I truly appreciate the effort your team puts into making car purchasing a hassle-free experience. However, I must bring to your attention a particular concern regarding the interior cleanliness of the vehicle I received. While the overall condition of the car met my expectations, I was disappointed to discover that the interior under the storage area was quite filthy. It appears that this part of the car had not received the same attention to detail as the rest of the vehicle. I must emphasize that this issue did not overshadow my positive experience with Carvana. Nonetheless, as a customer who values cleanliness and attention to detail, it was disheartening to find this particular area neglected. I believe that a thorough cleaning of the interior, including the storage area, is essential to ensure customer satisfaction. I kindly request that you address this concern promptly. I would appreciate if Carvana could arrange for a professional cleaning service to clean the interior of the vehicle properly, paying special attention to the neglected area beneath the storage. Alternatively, if you could provide guidance on the best approach to clean this area myself, I would be grateful. I believe that Carvana prides itself on its commitment to customer satisfaction, and I trust that you will take my feedback seriously. It is my hope that this issue can be resolved promptly, allowing me to continue enjoying my new vehicle without any further concerns. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution

I’m editing my review only because after calling every single day for a month, my husband was able to reach one manager at Carvana that has a soul. They admitted fault and agreed to buy back the rust bucket that they sold him. Thank you Jesus! ************* If you’re considering buying a car through Carvana, RUN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. My husband’s first vehicle from Carvana went smoothly. No mechanical issues, excellent customer service, but he traded it in because his warranty expired. That was when the nightmare began. Since Carvana gives you a cash offer without inspecting the vehicles they accept, they end up buying lots of lemons. My husband ended up with a lemon with a rusted rotors, exhaust, suspension to list a few. In fact, the service supervisor at Jeep wrote $18,000 worth of rust damage in the estimate, which is what he bought the vehicle for. This should have NEVER passed their inspections. Instead of doing to right thing, Carvana got greedy and sold this rust bucket that has been deemed unsafe to drive. My husband has called and emailed them every day for a month, and they are refusing to buy it back. The warranty company Silver Rock is refusing to fix his vehicle. No one at Carvana is held accountable because they keep trying to pass the buck to someone else rather than to fix their huge screw up. They don’t have a brick and mortar location where you can speak to someone for help and the customer advocates refuse to let him speak to a supervisor. I am writing this review because they are putting his life in danger and are flat out refusing to fix this huge problem they created. If you value your life, do NOT buy from Carvana. They don’t care if they are responsible for killing you with their unsafe vehicles. They only care about your money. The first mechanic that inspected his vehicle said this was the 4th lemon he’s inspected from Carvana. Do yourself a favor and go to CarMax where they actually inspect every vehicle they accept.

A week ago (11/3), when I test drove their car that dramatically shook as soon as I accelerated on the highway (which they allegedly test all their cars thoroughly to ensure they run properly) and declined the car, Carvana customer service informed me my refund was on the way and would take 3-5 business days to process/receive (they required me to pay up front in order to ship the car from out of town, since I wasn't financing - I know, I'm kicking myself for this enough already - and I waited a week and half for the car to arrive, so I already lost that time I could have been searching for a viable car). The local rep in the office, when I declined the car, misinformed me saying they had not yet even drafted my payment for the car, as they normally don't do that until after a buyer test drives and accepts the car. Today, I called customer service because I still had not received my money back, and I was told that their Treasury Dept is *STILL* processing my refund, since "contracts were signed and it's not as simple as pressing a button to issue a refund." And now it should take 3-5 business days to receive, maybe up to 7 business days max... putting us at NOV 18TH AT THE LATEST. I am FURIOUS. This has put my search for another car on hold because I don't have endless amounts of money at my disposal. I am carefully documenting all these convos with Carvana reps and filing a complaint with BBB, of course. So bottom line: don't deal with Carvana because it's a nightmare all around. I had read reviews saying other people got cars through Carvana only to discover issues with the car that hadn't been disclosed up front, so I was a bit hesitant going into the process, but it seemed like the issues were relatively minor and rationalized that no business is perfect, and appreciated the relative convenience of the car-buying process through Carvana. Apparently I should have trusted my gut from the get go.

Absolutely horrible post purchase experience. Let me explain to you something - there is major benefit to buying a USED car from ONE person at ONE dealership versus having to continually repeat yourself to so-called “advocates” via 1-800 number every day as I try to navigate the process of having over $8,000 of repairs approved on a car I bought 8 days ago - so called “Carvana Certified” and 150 point inspected. AS IF The 2016 Mercedes-Benz E350 I purchased is a quart low on oil, has dirty filters, worn tires, a broken center console, a back window I can barely see out of it the tint is so distorted, shakes when braking, is leaking oil from the timing covers, and the drive shaft flex disc is cracked. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere - I believe this car was made to look pretty and shipped out with the hopes nobody would put it in the air and really see what’s going on. The inspection I was given says this car “passed” in all areas and shows no detail as to what was actually done if anything before I purchased this car. I’ve spent HOURS on the phone trying to get clear communication and speak to someone above an advocate. Everyone is friendly and simply encourages I return the car. I am not interested in returning the car. I just want the car I bought and like to function as it was promised to me it would. I’d like to note this is the second car I’ve purchased with Carvana and I’m absolutely floored at how difficult it is to get anything done or get a clear answer. I’m on my 3rd day of my car sitting on a lift waiting for some type of answer from Silver Rock, Carvana’s warranty administrator, to hopefully get my car back and start enjoying it again. If anyone from Carvana actually cares, you can see my VIN in the attached photo outlining the issues with my car and please do call me ASAP so we can get to the bottom of this. BUYER BEWARE

My wife bought a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and was excited about taking delivery at the Austin vending machine. Very low mileage, one owner, and the pictures looked great. She ponied up the $1100 plus dollars for the shipping and waited for the vehicle to arrive. The rep pulls it around and parks it in one of the bays and the first thing my wife notices is a small dimple on the hood -- not a big deal necessarily...Until she sees another. And another. The hood and roof of the Crosstrek are riddled with dimples and dings. Clearly hail damage. The rep, laughingly, says that the damage is easy to miss. Are you kidding me? He suggests we accept the car, take pictures of the damage and submit a claim to Carvana for possible repair. "Possible" repair. So now they expect my wife to spend her time documenting damage that should have been caught (and repaired) prior to delivery for the opportunity to "possibly" get the damage repaired. To say nothing of the time it would take for a body shop to actually fix the damaged roof and hood. Here's the kicker, Carvana refuses to refund the nonrefundable shipping fee for the hail-damaged vehicle that she rejected. When she contacted a Carvana Advocate over the phone to resolve the issue, the Advocate hung up on my wife after saying there will be no refund of the shipping fee because that is their policy. The Advocate reiterated that my wife should have accepted the hail-damaged Crosstrek. Not happening. Contrary to Carvana’s response below, my wife did not move forward with another purchase from Carvana. Not only did they lose my wife as a customer. They lost our two college-age kids and their friends as potential customers too. Deal with Carvana at your own risk. Maybe you'll get lucky and everything will run smoothly...or maybe not.

Bought a 2016 BMW 435i using the Carvana App. I can’t describe truly how easy it is to buy a car using Carvana. 5 stars for the ease of use category. My only complaint is the advertisement for my car was misleading. The car only had 1 cosmetic defect listed in the original advertisement. When the car arrived, I found various small imperfections throughout the car, that were not evident/called out in the original advertisement (2 dents, chipped paint on front bumper accompanied with a small crack, and scratches on rear bumper, none of which were flagged in the original add). The person who delivered the car, Willis, was extremely friendly and notated the imperfections and advised that they would be investigated and likely fixed free of charge. 5 stars for Willis as they were very friendly and provided great customer service. Consumer advice - buying through Carvana is similar to buying a car sight unseen - if small surprise imperfections are a deal breaker for you I’d advise taking that into serious consideration before making your purchase. Please note this is a case study of 1, do with that what you will. Also note you can back out/return the car if they really are a deal breaker for you, just know you wasted some time. Otherwise it’s an incredibly convenient car buying service and extremely easy to use. Rates are overall competitive, they offer (what appears to be) a good warranty, and you can’t beat being able to buy a car on the weekend without pushy sales people trying to sell you the kitchen sink. If the un-advertised imperfections in my purchase aren’t remedied, I’ll update my rating to a lower score as I’d consider this false advertisement to the true cosmetic condition of the vehicle when I made my order. Hope this helps!

I was a little nervous to buy a car this way, but it ended up being the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. After reading quite a few iffy reviews, I figured I might be in for some delays and a dirty car. This is not at all what happened. I picked my car up from the vending machine early, the entire transaction took no more than 10 mins, and my Audi Q5 was quite literally in pristine (like new) condition. No dirt, smelled like a brand new car, there wasn’t even wear and tear on anything. The imperfections mentioned on the sale specs were exactly how described and there was nothing additional. The whole experience was stress free (dare I even say fun?) and I walked away with a gorgeous car. I did take it to get checked out by my own mechanic (I suggest you do this with any pre owned vehicle) to make sure there weren’t any glaring issues and everything was perfect. I think one thing to keep in mind when buying a used vehicle is that when you buy a car that has had 4 different owners, shaky maintenance records and higher miles you are likely not going to walk away with a vehicle that you don’t think is perfect. This can happen with any used car dealer. The convenience of being able to shop on my back deck on a saturday morning and drive away with the car Monday afternoon is unbeatable. If you are smart about your car choice and go with the flow, I have no doubt that you will have a really great experience. Oh, and the car vending machine is very silly, but it certainly made for a unique experience. Thanks to everyone at Carvana for making it such a smooth process!

I am in process of purchasing a car and it has been a really terrible experience. The first car had tar all over the the inside trunk and the second car had a broken AC. We are now waiting on our third car to be delivered and we were told there would be no 7 day money back period. So we will inspect it upon receipt but will most likely reject the car. The company has not honored any delivery times quoted to us and they won't allow us a 7 day period for the third car even though both previous cars had defects that should have been caught during their own inspection process. We feel that extending a 7 day refund period for the third car is a reasonable request but we were told by customer service its against policy. They also told us that we should just take the car in for repairs when we receive it because their warranty would cover that. But it seems weird that this company is counting on their cars to be delivered with obvious defects that could be repaired at their centers. I'll report back once I receive this third car but I have very little faith in this company right now, and customer service will say anything not to honor the quality of their cars. One person even told me that its a blessing in disguise to get a broken car because that means I get new parts when I bring it in to get repaired. Truly weird. A dealership would never do this. UPDATE: We did not accept the third car as it had a chipped windshield. We ended up buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Covert in Austin and it was a delightful experience. Save yourself the trouble and go direct to dealer.

This was a random purchase. I didn't come to TX to purchase a car but my son needed help because his car quite on him. Went on Carvana website, searched through cars, applied for financing and selected a delivery date. I was in need of an earlier delivery date so I called customer service. They were able to give me the delivery date I needed. I see all the comments about issues customer's had, all it takes is to pick up the phone and work with them. If you understand, you agreed to purchase a car you didn't put eyes on so you are taking that chance that there maybe some issues, no different from dealership. I had an issue, I called Customer Service, they were able to handle it with patience, understanding and problem resolved. It didn't take a week, a month, they addressed the issue the same day. The issue was, when the car was delivered, it didn't meet my standards and two days later I had another car, no run around, no questions asked. I suggest, when you use their service, understand these are used, pre-owned cars (no different than if you purchased from a dealership). EXCEPT, at a dealership, you don't get 7 days to return, you get 3 and that's after they give you the run around and make your life hell. I don't buy used cars BUT this was the best car experience I've ever had and I'll definitely use them again. If you read most of the negative comments, nowhere did they mention their issues were addressed and resolved (which I'm sure they were) all they did was complain. I say, judge the company and experience for yourself!

Hands down one of the worst experiences in 30 years of car buying experiences. The videos and photos are not letting me upload but show very good condition compared to the trade-in report from a horrible woman name Sharon, that was rejected due to "interior stains" and "dents." As a second time car-buyer, the way we were treated from the "Advocate" - Sharon, was appalling. A second guest witnessed this in addition to my son. The guest offered her contact information because she was mortified to witness what she did. My son was able to leave school early because he wanted to do the "token" instead of having the car delivered, I took off work only to discover 30 minutes after leaving, the car I had spent hours doing paperwork for, signing contracts for and showing up at the first available pickup time for, was cancelled without my knowledge or any communication from the company. To add insult to injury, the appraisal I was given, was not even valid upon arrival with the Carvana team stating the appraisal had "expired" even though I received a text and an email saying everything was good, I was approved and all I needed to do was bring in the keys, title and trade the car out. I'll be broadcasting this experience across my podcast and via my social media & PR company so that no other person, has to experience what we did today. Shame on you, Carvana, shame on you. I may be just another number to you, but I have a significant following, large platform and a passion for treating people with dignity, respect and doing what is right.

My wife purchased a Carvana certified vehicle from Carvana online beginning this week. The vehicle was supposed to be here today. Carvana emailed us yesterday saying the vehicle will be here soon and then emailed us today after waiting all week that our vehicle was delayed and not gonna be here until end of next week and they changed our shipping date. That is unacceptable and someone should be held accountable!!! And then she was told that is not a guarantee either that the vehicle would be here next week. She was told there’s a “process” before the vehicles are placed on a truck and that can cause delay if the vehicle failed inspection during shipping. Well why is it for sale if it’s not ready to go? Carvana not able to directly contact the transport logistics services to even find out why this Happen or get it here sooner as promised! We get a day delay but an entire week is HORRIBLE, leaving us without transportation! They don’t offer any kind of “inconvenience” incentive or complimentary rental discount or reimbursement to help when they mess up because they said it’s in the “small/fine” print on the website and in the contract. The customer service reps are rude and their managers are rude (Kassandra). If you’re able to get a car at a dealership please do so because this was NOT a good easy stress free process as their motto says. Please do NOT shop online if you need a car right away. It’s not a guarantee you’ll get your vehicle when Carvana says you will.

It’s not necessarily the people at this location I’m necessarily 100% upset with. It’s Carvana period. My mom gave me money for the down payment for my birthday because I needed a car bad. So I got a Nissan Sentra. Beautiful car. Had a few scratches but no big deal. Ran smooth and was comfy to drive. Fast forward to March of this year when I got into a bad car wreck and my car was totaled. If that wasn’t upsetting enough. As my mom went to the salvage yard to get my things out with my son. My son found a paper from the same place as where the maintenance was all done. It had been flooded bad. To the point they even told me that it was under water for a good while. Should have been on the car fax, especially because the car went through the previous owners insurance. Funny how all the maintenance from the dealership and dates where on there but however it wasn’t on the car fax. They were shocked not only did the car not be on the car fax but was sold period. Which in the state of Texas is illegal. So I feel not only did I waste money with them but feel they are complete liars. I was gonna look to get another car but after I found out what they pulled I would never . So just because they give you a car fax. Check it out thoroughly. Wish I had because I would never get another car from them ever. No matter how desperate I become for a car and which I am but not desperate enough to buy a car from liars and con artists. Waste of time and money.

We traded in my husband’s truck to Carvana and bought a smaller car thru them as well. All of this transpired on Nov 13th, we gave them the check our bank gave us to give Carvana and thought the transaction went smoothly. But obviously too good to be true right? Our bank has no record of Carvana cashing that check and so therefore hasn’t transferred the loan off our account. There is an almost $200 difference between the old loan and new loan so a significant amount of money. We have called Carvana multiple times and the first time they told us that they did cash the check but again our bank showed no record of that happening. So today (12/3/2021) we called again and told Carvana they either needed to rectify this by Monday (12/6/2021) or else they would be paying that truck loan since we do not legally own it anymore. Never mind the fact my husband and I will be in the hospital on 12/8/2021 to deliver our baby so all of this is unnecessary stress a pregnant mother does not need. Well Carvana called my husband back and told him they will not be paying the truck loan and we would have to figure that out. Of course we were told they’re working hard on this situation to fix it but I highly doubt it at this point. So do yourself a favor, do not buy or trade in with Carvana. They will screw your over and leave you high and dry. Carvana, I hope you enjoy screwing over a military family who now has to scramble money around to fix YOUR mistake!

Edit: I received the vehicle a week later, when the vehicle arrived it was fast and smooth. The trim on truck bed had broken clips, Carvana covered the repair and was done within one day. It was overall easy but making up answers and receiving 3 different answers before I was told there was an issue with the truck was not fun to deal with. Purchased a vehicle last week with an appointment today at 10:30 am delivery. I get a text at 10:11 am after taking the day off that they rescheduled my delivery to next week. 3 minutes later I get a call that it's due to registration that they missed appointment. I asked if I can pick it up today instead, the guy sent email off. 2 hours later I called and this guy tells me it's the inspection since vehicles come from out of state...the registration was in San Antonio within the last year since its on the carfax. Can't get a straight answer and now have to wait another week after they took my down-payment fast. Most of the process was easy, all my income verification was denied and I was called. They nice lady on the phone looked it all over, verified everything and finished it all, and was just left on waiting to get the vehicle which is where it all went wrong. I offered to go get it now as I took the day off and have yet to receive a response from anyone going on 3 hours later. Easy process but getting the vehicle completely changed my opinion on this company

Carvana 50% scam, 50% CLOWNS. Ordered a F-150 that was $1790 shipping, (non refundable). Stated 2-3 minor imperfections on exterior, a tiny little chip on the door handle, and minor scratches on the driver door that you can’t feel with a finger nail. And a scuffed up rear bumper insert, no big deal, it’s a truck. Wait for it………. How about the passenger side bed side and how the bed is pushed in and 3/16” off from the other side, or the sack of potatoes they painted shiny white, with bondo pin holes still left in it. Over spray on the black vinyl decals (that I can’t remove due to a nice abstract white racing stripe of the factory color!) Or how about the over spray on the entire front end ? White is a little hard to cover up when it’s sprayed on black plastic don’t ya think? “Clean car fax though !” Your in good hands, CARVANA holds there inspections to the upmost highest standard! Pretty sure Helen Keller is in charge of the “quality control!” So then they refer you to a 3rd party that states it’s used , and normal wear and tear. Alex there a “female” hangs up on me. Longest true story ever folks. If ya want to gamble, with 45 thousand dollars, drive into a random neighborhood, knock on someone’s door and ask them to pick out a nice vehicle for ya. CARVANA “THE GET WHAT YA GET CAR BUYING “

Update: it got worse 1 day into getting my car, the check engine light, brake light and oil change light were all on. Not to mention all of the tires need to be replaced. made an appointment which took 3 days after calling 4 places, then they told me it might take 3 days for carvana (silverrock) to approve the claim, leaving me without a car. they could care less about the client or the cars they sell. again customer service is nice but thats the only positive thing i have to say about this company. Disappointed. Ordered a car and had a delivery date set in stone, filled out all of my paper work on time and seemed to be super easy and great. Got a text saying my car is delayed a week with no solution or compensation whatsoever. I legit don't have a car because I sold my old one due to the new one coming in.. Spoke with a very nice woman on the phone who wanted to help and someone else was texting me about it but not providing a solution. I'm mainly upset because they said they wouldn't compensate me at all, no refunds, won't cover uber expenses, basically i'm s*** out of luck due to their negligence and the company itself doesn't care. I feel bad for the customer service team who has to deal with this. :( I only went with carvana due to the timeline..

Not a good experience. First I had to play phone tag between Carvana and my lender because they didn't like each other's systems and wouldn't talk to each other; Carvana *really* wants you to finance through them. The delivery was smooth, but the car had some moderate mechanical issues that hadn't been mentioned in the listing. Carvana said, no big deal, just get it fixed under warranty with one of our preferred garages. Unfortunately, the only garages they work with are all snowed under with work and haven't been able to even look at the car for a month. Meanwhile, Carvana stupidly didn't bother inspecting the car before delivering it to me, so they've been hassling me to get the car a state inspection, except that I haven't seen the car since I got it delivered because it's been in the shop for a month waiting to be looked at for the issues they didn't bother to fix before selling it to me. Now it looks like my registration paperwork won't be done in time for me to legally drive the car if it ever does get fixed. Short story: buying a car online, sight-unseen, takes a lot of trust that the listing is accurate and the car will be in the condition that was advertised. Carvana does not deserve that trust. Let the buyer beware.

I was never able to even purchase a car with Carvana and there is absolutely no way I will be with the headache they have given me. I did everything on my end to purchase a car. Sent in all the documents, sent the loan check, had my trade in ready, scheduled delivery. The day before my scheduled date, I get a TEXT MESSAGE saying they are unable to complete the purchase. I call to talk to someone, they have no idea why but it still shows available for others to purchase. As I'm on the phone with them, someone else calls and leaves a voice-mail, saying they will send a $250 check in the mail for the inconvenience. I had to call them multiple times to send the bank check back so I could have that loan cancelled. 2 months later, I still have not received my check that was promised ( which I never asked for) and they say they cant without a purchase. Still, no one is able to tell me what happened to the car other than mechanical issue, but they preach about a 150 point inspection before you can even purchase the car. This has given me no faith to trust Carvanas system or inspection process to be able to confidently purchase a car with them.

I'm writing this review after having my vehicle for 3 months... In 2019 I purchased a 2017 Impala through Carvana ( love d the experience 100%). In November 2021 I started making a purchase of a 2014 Lexus es 350, the day I was to p/u my vehicle as I pulled into the vending carousel... I was informed that my vehicle was damaged in a wreck of the delivery truck(set me back majorly). They had me select a different vehicle, and I had to redo the entire loan and all paperwork... carvana said they would allow me to select a different vehicle and they would also send me a check for $825 for my trouble. After all the paperwork was completed and the end of December rolled around I was still going through the purchase process, and I was willing to call it quits. My vehicle was approved and I p/u my new 2016 Lexus es 350, as well as 3 weeks later Carvana made good on the Check for $825, and my plates arrived making this experience different from my first purchase, but made the entire process over all a great buy and a complete success for me. Be diligent in your pursuit.

Quite possibly the worst experience I have had with any business. I got an appraisal online to sell my car, sent the agent picture and a written description of all the defects. They made me drive down 4 hours to a different city because I had a Co-owner and did not given me the option to sell the vehicle via power of attorney (carmax was very willing to do this). Once I got there, after driving for 4 hours, the agent was rude, uncommunicative, and all around unprofessional. After test driving my car which is in mechanically perfect condition, the agent told me "it was not up to standards" because of some interior defects (which I had already provided information about prior to the offer). He then asked me to leave and told me they cannot provide me with an updated offer. I was more than happy to work on a different appraisal since I understand that mistakes happen, but they were completely unwilling and rude. He also didn't even give me my ID back, I suggest hiring more competent employees. There's a carmax 5 minutes down the road, don't waste your time here.

Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with Carvana. We purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona in May and from the beginning we have had issue after issue with Carvana. The day they are supposed to deliver our car they call and say that they are unable to get the temp tags because it was already issued tags by someone else. A week later they sort that out and finally deliver the car. THEN they notify us weeks later that the car has not been inspected! And now we will need to get it inspected AND also get an emissions test( which is not needed in TX ) overnight the results to them and they will reimburse us. They have yet to reimburse us for this. We did that last month. I still have not received plates for this car and it's August! I bought the car in May. And NOW the bank (our lender)is sending us letters saying Carvana has not sent them the title either! This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. On top of all this the car AC went out the first week! It is summer in TX. So I am also skeptical of their "certification process".

A quick and generally smooth experience. There were some initial hiccups with getting an update estimate after inspection, but once that was resolved, it was very smooth. The process starts with filling out an online form to receive your estimate. Then you can schedule to drop off at a location near you or have an evaluator meet you at your house. I opted to drop off and met with the evaluator who took about 5 minutes to inspect and drive the vehicle. They noticed some scratches and suspension issues and rejected the offer. They told me to refill the form online and start the process over. This is where I'd hope the would be able to adjust on site, so it didn't take another day. Regardless, I adjust my application to include the issues noted and from there the process was super simple. They inspected it again, gave me info about next steps, answered all my questions, and then handed me a check which was deposited that day. It was about $5k above Carmax and other estimates I received. I left happy and impressed with the overall process.

ZERO STARS!!!!! Car buying is already a stressful process, save yourself the trouble and go through a REPUTABLE dealer! Went through the ENTIRE BUYING PROCESS with this joke of a company and confirmed my pick up date for Aug 21st! A rep even called me to FINALIZE payment through my lender etc! Everything was set until I literally got an EMAIL (no phone call, text, nothing) saying my pickup appointment is being delayed THREE WEEKS!! I call and they said the car WON’T TURN OVER OR START! Absolutely ridiculous that they have these cars sitting for God knows how long (the rep couldn’t even tell me, had no clue)..then turn around and sell NON-WORKING VEHICLES! When I asked about a rental or any help as I’m essentially car-less and now have to get a rental, they said they don’t help with ANY COSTS associated with THEIR MISTAKE!!! This should not even be LEGAL! PRIME EXAMPLE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I will be cancelling my order and going to CarMax! I will never do business with this company and don’t advise anyone else to either!

My husband bought a car from Carvana a couple of years ago and it was a very easy process, all went well. I sold them my vehicle this year and they paid top dollar for it, also a great experience so , when I was on the market for a vehicle, I decided to give them a try. Purchased a 2018 VW Golf, beautiful car but, when I picked it up and test drove it, breaks we’re making a concerning noise and trembled a bit. My husband checked under the carriage, it had a lot of rust and a big hole by the rear passenger axle. Found a 2020 VW Jetta on their inventory and decided to swap. Just picked it up and the oil change and inspection alert came on. I never bought a vehicle where I had to do schedule maintenance right after buying it! The 150 point inspection is a joke. The vehicle was dirty and I also noticed lots of scratches that were not on the description- very deceiving. Nothing but a headache so far. Not sure if should try to swap for something else or just cancel the entire thing. Feeling stressed and disappointed

Overall it was a very easy and quick way to get a new car. Almost too easy. I really appreciated how fast I got approved and all that. I’d give 5 stars EXCEPT the fact that my plates and registration was sent to the wrong address. I was in the middle of moving when I bought my car and asked the staff to update my address when I picked up my car. They told me no problem and it would be done. Three months later I’m still waiting for my plates/ registration in the mail. Finally I contact someone and I’m told the plates had to be sent back to headquarters because no one was available to sign for the delivery….because it was sent to the wrong address. Why I wasn’t contacted about this I’m not sure. I’ve now contacted 3 different people about it and all they can do now is send me to the DMV. Which has been a separate nightmare on its own. Carvana now cannot send me my plates and registration because of some policy. So now it’s my problem. When this was clearly a fault on Carvana’s end. VERY irritating.

Buying a car on line was a first for me. My son bought one on VRoom without complicatioins. The people at Carvana are pleasant enough, however, delivering on their promise fell short. I was promised a car on a day and time. I cleaned out the trade in, took off the plates only to have a call ten minutes prior to the time of arrival letting me know there would be no delivery. The car was in transit through a third party. They delivered it ten days later. My new car was advertised and sold as a black 2022 Avalon. It arrived and it appeared to be black. Until the sun was on it straight down to show it had a very unique amber hue. Never had a black car with flecks of amber in the paint. I have grown to like it, but not 100%. Lastly and most seriously, the car was delivered low a quart of oil. The oil light came on almost immediately after the delivery guy left. I was quite concerned as to a bigger problem, but after adding a quart of oil, it has been good. The car is great.

I assisted a friend with the purchase of a 2016 Mustang GT. I carefully reviewed the clean CarFax and all of the images on the site. Looked really nice. He made the purchase. Fast forward a week or two (delayed delivery) and he pulls up to my house with his new car grinning from ear to ear. I could tell that something was wrong from 20 feet away. I inspected cars for 7 years and noticed poor paint on the drivers quarter. I inspected the rear of the car and located the seams where a whole new quarter panel had been patched in. This is called FRAME DAMAGE. The car will never perform in an accident as it would from the factory. I was floored that they delivered this car since it was worth about 30-40% less than he paid. Carvana just laid-off 2500 employees and spent billions the same day. The founder is an ex-con who was convicted of bank fraud. Look it up. These guys are crooks. STAY AWAY from this place. They’ll have a vending machine and you’ll have a death trap.

I actually purchased my vehicle in January of this year and a coworker of mine just made his purchase this week thru them as well. Originally posted this only on the dealer rater site... This was the best purchasing experience ever from beginning to end! Great selection of cars to choose from and great pricing. Like they say, there are no HIDDEN fees. They don't try to push extras onto you that you don't need, like the salesmen at regular dealership's do! No harassing phone calls or spam, and they register the vehicle for you too. Their gap insurance option is reasonably affordable too! They walk you through the whole process. When they delivered my car, Sharon was great at explaining everything I was signing. She went over the 7 day & 100 day carvana warranty and had all info in a folder in case I needed to refer back to it. Best part was I did this purchase all from the comfort of my home, all online and through text. I highly recommend Carvana to everyone!

  • Craig Brown

There's a good reason Carvana stock is down like 90%. I attempted to purchase a car through Carvana to skip the dealership. Sadly, the dealership would be a lot easier. They tell you that you can link your bank account through Plaid. Great! I did that. They tell you that you can ACH payment for your car. Ok, great! Did that. Then on a Saturday they call me at 6:00 pm and if I don't get payment "straight" by 8:00 pm they'll cancel my order. Ok...I already gave you ACH permission. Well, we have to have a 3 way call with your bank. And a 9 day hold. So we have to reschedule. Blah blah. All stuff they never tell you until you've checked out and you already have a firm pickup date for your car. Don't want to ACH? They insist on a cashier's check uploaded to their system. I've never had a dealer refuse a personal check, a debit card, or any other form of payment as long as it spends. But Carvana is all about bureaucracy and not doing what they say, apparently.

"New way to buy a car" - yes, the site is alluring and makes it easy to buy a car... but I highly recommend you steer elsewhere given Carvana's checking protocols on cars (or lack thereof). Their 100 point inspections check all exterior nicks/scratches, but do nothing for mechanical / interior damage... Our purchased vehicle had over $8K worth of repairs within the 100 day warranty period. They did fix, but I had zero faith in their customer service which offered no support or concern post 100 day warranty period. Going certified pre-owned through dealer or buying new/leasing is way better than trying to buy used any ways... consider yourself warned so you do not have issues like we did. I typically do not write reviews, but this one was warranted. [UPDATE since their reply below]: Even more telling when they cannot locate my account number... great customer service, Carvana - I had high hopes for our LR4 transaction - do better next time and every time.

The process of buying a vehicle is fairly easy but frustrating at times. Some of the customer services representatives did not understand English very well. The vehicle I purchased; the interior was not cleaned out very well. Still had old food from the last owner on the floor and smelled like smoke. The vehicle was delivered late afternoon, that should not have counted for my 7-day return policy. If the vehicle is delivered after 5pm, that day should not count. I hope the company change that policy for future costumers. The warranty department is not the easiest customer services representatives to deal with. Each representative talked to has different answers on status of claims. I wish costumers can take the vehicle directly to the dealership for inspections, recalls, and repairs without paying a $350.00 deductible before getting approval from a preferred repair facility. Overall, the process has been smooth with a few bumps in the way.

We are a Carvana family. We were on our 3rd Carvana car last Saturday (9-30-23). 30 seconds into our test drive, our car did on the highway leaving us in a terribly dangerous situation. We immediately called South Austin Carvana for help; they put us on hold. During this time, they quickly processed our trade in. We were lucky that a stranger helped push us out of the way and drove us back to the South Austin Carvana. After making us wait for over an hour, we were put on the phone with “Johnny” who told they own the van now, so we could feel free to but another car?! The inspection was either very incompetent or purposely neglectful. These actions left us in a seriously dangerous situation and wrecked our day to day lives because now we STILL NEED a car and no longer have our van. It is horrifying how insensitive and short-sighted these decisions were by Carvana that day. This whole situation makes Carvana look like comic book villains.

I got in an accident in July which resulted in my car getting totaled. I went with carvana because the process was so great last time .Not the case this time . Uploading paychecks to prove I could afford the car was difficult especially since I have service job where you Have to provide hourly and tips checks. However that was never explains in which resulted in my car pick up getting pushed back the FIRST time . When that was settled and the car arrived to the city it had to go in the shop resulting in my pick up date getting pushed back a SECOND and THIRD time. I do appreciate them putting the car in the shop but I was without a car for about a month .They could’ve given a rental or reimbursement for transportation . And putting down a deposit and not having Anything for a month hurts. I ended up canceling that order , because I no longer felt safe driving . Picking a new car it came no problem which is why I gave two stars .

  • Sydney Pechal

I usually never write a review like this but I would not recommend buying from Carvana as a whole. I was trying to exchange the car I had for another. I was well within the 7 day guarantee. I was reassured that since Carvana already pulled the full amount for my current car, it would just transfer over once I dropped off the original vehicle. So no need to worry about how sufficient funds for them to pull and I would be able to work it out with the service person when I picked up the new car. However, I got an email notice stating that the car I was exchanging for was going back up to market because of "insufficient funds". I also had issues with their warranty company after I reported 2 noticeable dents that were not listed on the carfax. I was told that "those imperfections were within used warranty" so they would not fix it. Not only am I unhappy, I've extremely anxious and irritated throughout this whole process.

  • jaqueline diaz

If I could give zero stars I would. Was approved for my car on 12/11 for a 12/19 delivery date. Received an email on 12/14 saying my car was halfway to its destination. The DAY OF delivery 12/19/2023 I received a message saying my vehicle was delayed due to “transportation issues” if they knew the vehicle was delayed they would have known before the date of delivery I reluctantly agreed to reschedule the delivery. The delivery was rescheduled to 12/23/2023 but received another delivery delay text on 12/22/2023 again, for “transportation issues” at this point it has to be something other than transportation delays like the customer service reps were saying. At this point I had ZERO faith they were selling me a reliable vehicle. The fact that they rescheduled delivery twice for the same issue was extremely frustrating and unprofessional from this company. I wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYONE. STAY AWAY!

Do not buy from here! Traded our car (thankfully had 7 days to return if we didn't like it) for an suv. Was told it goes through a 150. Inspection before going out. This was not done. The breaks were bad and shaking every time we would brake. Carfax came back with a clean bill. The mechanic came out and did an inspection and the brakes were bad but also he noticed the front driver side door had been replaced (we noticed it veered to the right some but thought it was the tires). The car we were given was an old rental car. Something people don't know is that rental car places use private insurance and if a car is wrecked while their insurance is used they do not have to report it. Also the inside of the car smelled horribly like cigarette and Mary Jane smoke. So much so that we would smell of it when we got out of the car. Thankfully we were able to get our car back but this has been an awful experience!!

Horrible place to buy a car. They say they do 150 point inspections and they don’t. They said they did an oil change and didn’t. They don’t help their customers when they sell them a car that has sludge in the engine that should have been caught doing an oil change and during the 150 point inspection. They even admitted they should have caught that and not sold the car. Yet they do nothing to make this right. No advocating for the customer at all. All they advertise is lies. This is the worst customer experience ever. They lie, steal, and rip their customers off. I have never wrote a review like this but sadly it’s needed to help prevent someone else from becoming the next me, who is now the Owner of a 35,000 mile luxury SUV that is a lemon. Should be a 0 star review. What a horrible company. Would never recommend Carvana to anyone and will make sure to tell anyone I can how bad of a company Carvana is.

We sold a vehicle to Carvana and found the experience to be easy and painless. We plugged in our vehicle information online to their website and got an offer immediately. We did this with two other online car sales companies and Carvana was by far the best offer we received. We accepted the offer and scheduled an appointment to drop off the car. The team at the Austin location had all of the paperwork prepared for our arrival and the checkout process was clear and simple. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes and had a check in our hands. I’m not sure if the process was simpler for us as we had the title from the paid in full vehicle. Maybe if the car you are selling has a note on it, perhaps the checkout process may take a little longer. Not sure. The clerk that assisted us was thorough and efficient and if we have any future cars to sell, we’ll definitely consider using Carvana again.

Excellent New Experience. I love my 2013 Toyota Camry had it from day one with 140 Mi on it drove it out of the showroom. Today I sold it to Carvana 73,515 miles on it. I had no problems with this vehicle, to me, it was in excellent condition. This is my first time with the online sale of a vehicle, it was great, I mean excellent, They did a beautiful job from the start of picking up the vehicle and handing me a check. Just like the commercial on TV. Wonderful five no six stars to Cavana of Austin. I had five offers from online sales companies. This was the third and in the middle from the top offer. The first one was a lot more money, but they did not comply, they seemed to skip a beat and not call me back. The bottom offer was too low, and they too didn't bother to call me back. Carvana is the one to call, I highly recommend Carvana of Austin. Robert Ramos... KG5NTP

Worst experience ever. Still trying to return my car. They brought me a car with the underbelly covered in rust (they conveniently show no underside photos in any of their listings). It also had a dead fob battery and did not have the full gas tank promised. It started leaking oil almost immediately. There's zero chance the inspection was actually done on this car. Now they are in no hurry to pick it back up or give me my deposit back. They "don't do emails" for return confirmation and won't tell you when the agent will come get it. You're just supposed to sit around until they feel like communicating. They seem to be in no contact with whoever they hire to pick these things up. The whole thing is a giant lie and their customer service is atrocious. They will literally do nothing about anything and their listings are lies. Do not ever buy from this company.

My daughter who lives in California totaled her car a few months after moving. I found a replacement on Carvana and got cash in hand from the insurance company. I spoke to a live agent who told me, even though I live in Texas, I could purchase the car as long as I was there to sign for it at pick up. Then the day before delivery, a text to me the delivery is delayed two days, so I made alternative arrangements. Then I called them again, waiting pretty long to find a real person, and then found out no we can’t do the sale since you live in Texas and the car will be registered in California. They had two weeks to think about that. Everything at Carvana is done automated and if you talk to a real person you get scripted blather and they don’t really know what they’re talking about. I finally gave up on this purchase and will not call Carvana ever again

  • Sarah Breidenich

It hurts me to write this review because I always try to see the benefit of the doubt, but I have to spread the word so another unsuspecting victim doesn't get screwed. Carvana took advantage of me. They sold me a car for 20k with a cheap makeup that wouldn't be noticed until after the original warranty. I had bought the extended warranty but apparently that didn't cover what was wrong to begin with. They wouldn't admit fault for the shoddy paint job that won't last a year or pieces literally coming off the car after about 4 months of driving. The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars is because most of the customer service people seemed genuine but now, sadly, I wonder... DO NOT trust Carvana. There is a reason their cars are slightly cheaper than other used car dealers. Save yourself money in the long run and go with someone else. This is a shady company.

The people at Cavana Austin were great. The process was less than desirable. My wife and I selected to finance through our own bank since it was a 4.5% difference in the inerest rate between Carvana and our bank. Carvana refuses to accept an EFT electronic fund transfer, so we spent hours on the phone with our bank to sort this out. We sent the tracking number as well as a copy of the email with the tracking number and an image of the front of the check and then received a phone call asking us to participate in a 3 way call so they could verify the tracking number and amount of the check (that they had an image of) as well as the check number. It seems tga Carvana is trying to make outside funding so difficult that you just go with their funding and pay the higher interest until you refinance. The people were great but the process was GARBAGE!

  • Christina Kelly

I really thought buying a car online would save me the headache and annoyance of a dealership. I was wrong. The process is so irritating. Carvana borderline harasses you to get your paperwork finished. Even way ahead of the deadline. Additionally, if you need the car on the date it's promised, prepare to be screwed. My car was 10 days late. The car pictures and described on the sale page were different transmissions. Carvana refused to reimburse me for the rental and rideshare I needed to exist. They offered me 100$ for the discrepancy in the description. Of course, that is to be paid by a mailed check. And, can take 2 months to be processed. The reason i gave 2 stars and not 1, is for their wide selection and the courteous, yet unhelpful people i spoke to on the phone. I recommend anyone needing to buy a car, to use any other avenue to do so.

I scheduled a pickup for the car I sold to Carvana. they provided a 3 hours window. I made sure the car is ready but they didn’t show up. I called them and they said it was rescheduled for the following day and they don’t know when (their website still showed the original appointment time). I’ve called the next morning and they said they will be at my place on 11:30. At 12:30 I caled them and they asked to allow 2 hours from 11:30. I called again on 2pm just to find out that I wasn’t even in the list for today. And they are sorry but they cannot have an appointment any time soon and I should bring the car to nearest Carava location which was 40 min drive from my home. I must say in the Carvana location things went smooth and the service was good but the overall experience was dissapionting and poor.

  • cortland shephard

I would give less stars if I could. First they give us a car with the roof rack ripped off and try to get us to take it. Then when we refuse and send it back, like we are allowed to do by they’re system. Now they are giving us a full run around and are making my wife submit ALL paper work over and over again. On top of trying to charge us our down payment days before we even get to see the car. My issue with this is they told us we wouldn’t pay until we accepted the car. Their hours are ridiculous for a M-F 8-5 job and make it impossible to meet their demands for new paper work! Again my only real problem is this didn’t happen when we set up for the first car, the one with holes in the roof! We heard bad things about Carvanna and we should have listened. Now it has cost us time and money.

DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANNA!!! My family recently purchased a car from them and we had everything set and ready to go only to get to the place to see the car we had purchased riddled throughout with hail dents. The purchase had already been made and so we had to refund and lost 1,190 dollars in shipping. This is blatantly false advertising as the product we received is not the one we had set our eyes on and purchased. CARVANNA then refused to work with us for some resolution and continued to deny any further support, opting for quite clearly fake “I’m sorry, but” responses. It felt like there was no emotion in the conversation at all when it came to them essentially stealing over one eleven hundred and ninety dollars. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CARVANA, LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

  • Chris Ramirez

Horrible, horrible customer service. Some of the worst and most frustrating service. The representatives were very inconsistent in their policy knowledge. Ask the same question and get 2 totally different answers. I'm not basing this review off of one call. I'm talking a handful of calls over a few days. It wasn't a complicated issue and I feel it could of been resolved in one call whether it worked out in my favor or not. It was a very frustrating experience. It really gives you plenty of time to have buyers remorse. My advice, if you are not in DIRE need of a car. Just wait. It's worth the time to just finance through your bank at a better rate and purchase from a dealer with better service. They do a very good job at one thing; making it LOOK like it's a seamless process.

  • Amy Murray

What sets Carvana apart from other car buying experiences? Home delivery, convenience. Did not mind the 2 week delivery date, I feel fortunate the car was available the day they said it would be after reading some of these reviews. Jury is still out because just picked it up today. You heard me right, PICKED IT UP today. Carvana failed on one of its most basic promises that sets them apart, convenient home delivery. You know, the promise that they make in every commercial that you see. So I ask you now, why wait 2 weeks for them to get it ready when I could have walked out with a car THE SAME DAY as I walked into 100s of other deslerships. What sets you apart Carvana? I would go somewhere else with a good reputation and not wait for Carvana to disappoint you.

  • Jamie Gomez

This review is for the selling process for Carvana. The process was so easy and smooth and we received our money quickly. After selling my husband's vehicle through Carvana Austin, I wrongly assumed other similar companies (i.e. Shift) would be the same. However, when it came time to sell our other vehicle and the offer was slightly higher with Shift I tried Shift instead. Terrible decision. When we met with Shift they tried to shaft me out of 3k from the original offer for scratches that they could not even point out to me. I needed to sell my car quickly but fortunately Carvana Houston came out the next day and it went so much faster with NO haggling just as it was with Carvana Austin. Both times the agent was very professional. Highly recommend Carvana.

  • Inbar Zilber

I have had THE WORST experience of my life with Carvana purchasing a car. I purchased a car that was supposed to arrive on June 7th. They made an error with my papers, told me I was late for the deadline of submitting the papers, admitted they were mistaken, delayed my car delivery by one week, then by another week and then by two more weeks. Apparently there is something wrong with the car, which impacts their credibility immensely given their phony 120 point inspection. They will not compensate me for the time and money I spent waiting for the car (ubers, car rentals), and not for the insurance I am paying for no reason at all. Of course I canceled my purchase. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM CARVANA AT ALL COST!!!!

  • Jonnie Davis

Horrible experience sold me a bad car. When I almost got into a fatal accident did nothing to help. RUN AND RUN FAST unless you want to be F over. The worst company does not care about your safety or you just your money. Had to get a lawyer involved. Customer service never knows how to do their job. I was constantly asked what I wanted to do about the problem. Like isn’t that your job to help me. My ‘warranty’ that I pay money for and supposedly covers my engine was unusable because they did not feel like covering such a large cost. Even though it clearly states that I’m covered. Would never recommended this place. Will be telling everyone I know to not buy from Carvana, and I know a lot of people. HORRIBLE

  • Jennifer Gonzalez

I feel let down by the lack of customer service. I did my part by getting all the paperwork needed and checking in with them multiple times to make sure everything was on track. It was. Except there was an issue with my trade in title. I had 45 min to fix it. I wasn’t given ANY way, link or phone number, to get in touch or fix the issue. I tried the robot chat and tried to call. Their phone systems were down and I got told I missed the deadline. Even though I tried every way I could think of to reach them. I had to rearrange my schedule because “that’s just the way it works, sorry.” Carvana DID NOT alleviate the time and stress it takes when buying a car. So disappointed.

  • Gareth Block

Never, ever again! I tried to purchase a 2018 Mini Cooper. Carvana called me 45 minutes before I went to pick it up to tell me would not pass state inspections. They called me an hour later to say its convertible top was not working (and then we noticed that the pic on the website showed it half-open...fraud?!). So I refused to take possession of the vehicle, so would not sign the contract for purchase. But then I learned that they had already cashed my bank check for $25,000! Well... after a week of calling over and over, I finally got them to cut a check and FedEx it back to my bank. But they won't cover the interest expense ($50-100). Buyer beware, folks!

  • Gary Morrissey

Sold my car. I received several quotes for my BMW from a number of dealerships. 2 of the dealers were bait and switch - the offer they said came with a lot of strings and fewer dollars at the end. Carvana was not the highest offer at the start by just a few hundred dollars BUT they were the most honest. Alex the service person came on time, was very informative and professional. Stood by their offer. She took care of all the paperwork and made sure the payment process was in place before she left. They said it would take 2 or 3 days to process the paperwork - our money was in our account in less then 24 hours. Thank you for the great customer service.

  • nicolette anastasiou

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a car from carvana. Although there were some obstacles at the beginning, Ray Gomez finished my experience with a BANG. When he saw that I was less than satisfied, he did everything possible to win me over. What he couldn't do himself, he reached out to someone who could. Thank you, Jeremy Wyatt for ensuring my car arrived as promised. Thank you, Ray for making the delivery so personal... Even dog treats for my dogs!! You completely went above and beyond to win my business, my referral, and my loyalty to Carvana. Kudos to both of these professionals whose customer service far surpassed my hopes and expectations.

  • Christina Lopez

DO NOT GET CAR THROUGH CARVANA! It is literally the worse ! They approved me then told me they would bring car next week then never showed up without telling me so I called and spoke to someone who told me it would be a whole other week! So I said let me do pickup to avoid this issue again… not telling me it would cancel my whole order and ask for further documents so now again I’ve thrown 3k into this car with nothing to show for it not knowing if I will receive car next car or not… then I ask to speak to someone higher up and the lady was so rude basically telling me it was my fault and nothing I can do

  • Liesl Nydegger

Wish I could do zero stars. I purchased a vehicle last week and sold mine to Carvana. It was supposed to be delivered Friday. Then I get a text it will be Monday. Then they never show. After calling around and waiting on hold for a long time I'm told it missed it's transport and it will be at least another week. Meanwhile, I already switched my insurance so now my old car is uninsured. Worst customer service and company I've worked with in a long time. Do not use them!! Update since this wasn't clear: I have attempted to cancel the purchase 3 times and it's still not canceled. I'm done using this company.

  • Family GMAIL

DO NOT do business with this company. Cars are overpriced and problems are concealed by their mechanics. Bought a used Volvo XC 60 and 6 months later it required $6000 in repairs. When we fixed the issue we tried to sell it back and they offered NOTHING even close to what it’s worth. IF you are thinking of buying from them, do a reverse estimate of sale to Carvana. Provide all details of the car except the VIN number and see what they offer to buy the car you are wanting to buy from them. You will see they are not giving you the best deal and the lowest price and no haggle. ITS A SCAM

  • Karen Allen

I would give more than 5 stars, if it was possible. What an amazingly easy process. And to have the vehicle delivered to my residence was so exciting and removed the stress usually associated with car buying. From my initial contact online, to the delivery of the vehicle, was quick, efficient, and professional. And the delivery driver, Ali, was so great with the delivery and sincerely enjoyed my excitement. He was professional, thorough, and a great sense of humor. Thanks, Carvana, I will be referring friends and family for sure. Even strangers if they ask about my vehicle!

  • kris na

I scheduled a pick-up date and received text updates that my car is ready, documents are all signed, etc. It was a 3 hour drive and I arrived early. They made me wait until my precise appointment time, even though people were arriving later then their scheduled time. When they finally get to me I'm told I can't take my car home because Carvana didn't do inspection on the car. They made me reschedule. I arrive days later and their Tag machine is down, hand-writing everything. So far I'm happy with my car, but I wouldn't recommend Carvana Austin to anyone after my experience.

  • Edyn-Nicole Jacks

I would give them a zero if I could. I contacted support because a car I was interested in had an active recall. The recall causes cars to stall at high speed… I would have to drive at a high speed to take it to the dealer to fix the recall. They refused to address the issue prior to sale. I don’t understand how a car can be “carvana certified” with such a huge and unsafe recall. I called Toyota with the vin to confirm it was still open for this vehicle. Super sketchy, double check the carfax if you want to buy here. Some vehicles are listed as the incorrect color etc.

  • Jeremy Flint

1. Driver arrived more than two hours late. 2. Online representative told me, in writing, that the car battery not holding a charge wasn’t a problem. Driver refused to take the car when he arrived because of the battery. 3. Driver refused to release the new car to me when I offered to pay the full price and deal with the attempted trade-in later. This is despite Carvana being very diligent about verifying my bank account balance, so they knew I had the funds available. Wasted an entire day and customer service was supremely unhelpful throughout the entire interaction.

  • Ashly Thompson

This experience has been horrible. I was approved for a vehicle and had delieveyy try date set up. The morning I was headed to go pick it up, the car over heated twice and all the lights came on the dashboard. It was then delayed again 2 more times. Customer service was helpful in finding me a new car after all of that with the promise that there should be no delays with it being local and in the same city I live. Then the day before ANOTHER DELAY for over a week! This is the second chance I’ve given carvana to get it right and they still were a disappointment!

  • Jennifer Merritt

First off I’d like to say I will never go there again nor would I recommend anyone going there we drove almost 2 hours in traffic and when we get there (yes it’s cool to see the gum ball machine )but the customer service was a disgrace the kids ponytail must have been to tight to realize when someone walks in the door to actually sit up and get your feet off the the desk and greet someone ….. and don’t give the customer an attitude I was so disgusted with the behavior I went to car max and took less money for my car ….. absolutely rediculous behavior

  • Mercedes Grant

My car was smelling like something was burning since I first got it and was only able to drive it 3 days before I had to take it to the shop… which took another 2-3 days to get approved to fix and put me right at my 7 day warranty. I called to ask to try another vehicle but they kept saying I had insurance that would pay to get the issues fixed and they would push my warranty for 2 more days. The repair shop calls and says they can’t fix one of the issues and it has to be serviced elsewhere so now I have to be without my car again for more time.

  • Stephen Goody

DO NOT TRUST THEIR 150 POINT INSPECTION. IT’S A TRICK! After 8 months buying a car from Carvana, i got the brakes, brake fluid and rotors checked at a dealership and they told me that are worn out and haven’t changed at all! A brake pad would last around 2 yrs but when the mechanic showed me the pads, it looks like they were worn down and have been used for 3 yrs. Picture below of a regular brake fluid (bottom) vs the brake fluid my car has (above) You can totally see the difference. DO NOT TRUST THEIR 150 POINT INSPECTION!! HORRIBLE!!

  • Jhonatan Aldama

Worst car buying experience ever, not just this specific location but Carvana entirely. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, honestly even the bad dealership experience is better than this. I have spend over 10 hours on the phone during the buying process and after to solve issues they caused. Will also need to spend over 8 hours corrected there errors in terms of issues with vehicle and registration errors they made. This will also cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA. Save yourself hours of headaches and pain.

  • Amir Ebrahim

I recently sold my car to Carvana Everything was going well till I went to drop my car I picked to get a check The number on check did not match my offer I asked the advocate to explain the discrepancy! He had no idea I had to wait for 30 minutes in the parking lot to see him calling the office Nothing happened! He told me to take the check and call the office to resolve the issue When I called the office, I was told since the sale is closed they can’t do anything about it I’m just disappointed the way this deal went

  • Drew F

Do NOT buy from Carvana. Terrible experience! I drove off the lot, the next day breaks made a sounds. Come to find out, then real pads were worn down. The Bluetooth didn’t work. I’ve had it not even two years and: The AC went out after a couple of months, I have a had to change the battery, the engine filter was clogged, the wheel was about to fall off, the shocks are bad. I called them asking if I could trade it in but my warranty expired and they wanted me to pay and arm and leg to get new car! I want to sue them!

  • Michael Yetter

I was getting low balled for my trade at dealers. Thought I would give Carvana a chance. it worked out great. I was offered more than the dealer and was closer to what the NADA value was. I missed an email request for a better picture but other than that super easy. Took my car there, they spent about 15 mins looking it over, then they handed me a check. After that called an Uber for me at their expense to take me to the new car dealership that was further than my house. All of this exceeded my expectations.

  • Matt Opramolla

Wow!! My first time selling a car through Carvana and I was absolutely blown away by the ease of the experience. Ultra-fast estimate (and thou$$$$$$$ands over the estimates I got from dealers), seamless pick-up process, and I got the money deposited straight to my bank in less than five seconds after the rep picked up my car. I’ve already started the process of selling our other car through them and highly encourage anyone else to do so, as well, if you’re thinking about it. What a great business model!!

  • Carlos Castro

I sold my car at Carvana. The process is supper fast and transparent. II get a quote online in second. They offered a fair price. It took me about 39 minutes to get the paperwork done. After I submitted the documents, they confirmed the offer and asked me to schedule an appointment to drop off the car. The meeting took less than 10 minutes. They inspected the car, I signed the papers and they processed the payment. It is a great experience. I highly recommend to make business with Carvana.

  • Bianca Rueda

We want to give a big shout out to Alan. He was attending another costumer when we had arrived who seem very upset. He was not only calm but very understanding of their situation and apologized to us for the wait. After a mixed up on the system for our pick up date. Alan made sure we were able to get our car today. He was super awesome and friendly! Definitely change our view and will be returning for a third car later on! The process super easy and smooth. Thank you Alan and Carvana!

  • matthew tarkman

Communication was absolutely horrible rescheduled my delivery date 4 times and also had a huge problem communicating with my bank. No you cannot barter the cost of the vehicle. Which I have noticed isn't market value for the vehicle. If you use them just make sure you give it 2½ weeks before you see the vehicle. Ha! Now registering is being a problem even when they received all the information. Now it's January and I started this process in November..... sooooo fun

  • Lori R.

Thank you so much. Two dealerships low balled me on my trade-in. So I went to the Carvana website. I LOVED how simple it was! I got a great finance rate from Carvana, excellent value for my trade, and the whole process was so easy and just...cool and friendly. I opted to pick up the vehicle instead of delivery ... full disclosure? I wanted the car vending machine experience . It did not disappoint. I may never go back to a conventional dealership again. :)

  • Gabriela Rangel

Worst company to sell your car, they gave me an online offer, and then a couple of days later I updated the payout amount and of my vehicle and now they updated the offer (of course a lower amount) and they don’t want to honor the initial amount even though it’s still available until nov 11 claiming it’s expired just because I didn’t upload my drivers license. I would definitely not recommend them for any business at all

  • Bryan Pryor

Paid the premium price for the delivery experience and the 150 point “inspection”. All passed and looked fantastic. Except... I woke up to an oil leak in my garage day one. My final review will depend on how Carvana answers this problem. UPDATE: Carvana picked the car up without any hassles or costs to me so that was a pleasant experience. Overall, I was happy with the experience but not the car that was delivered to me.

  • Chris Kovac

-Order a car online pickup date 3/1 -2/28 get a email your car has been delayed to 3/4 -3/4 35min before appointment time another email delayed again till 3/9 -ordered a different car pickup date 3/7 -3/6 I call was told everything is on track your car will be there 3 hours later I get a email....... Delayed to 3/20 - canceled that order and now my min deposit has doubled on any car. How is this place still in business?

  • Angela Benson

Carvana has ruined my life in ways that words can never explain. I’m in tears typing this review. If you have any dreams of driving your new car and are going through Carvana, good luck! I received my FOURTH delay today! Right before my pickup date (again). The dates are not real and are computer generated! They DO NOT care about their customers AT ALL!!!! Pleaseeee I BEG you to go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Alex Melton

After reading reviews I was a little hesitant about using Carvana, was I proved wrong! The entire process was so streamline and fun! We placed our order Tuesday and it was delivered Friday right on schedule! We love our new van! Our delivery driver was so sweet and respectful too! She noticed our do not ring door bell or knock sign and called us instead. Great experience 5 stars hands down!

  • Ray Holloway

I've been rescheduled twice for delivery of my car. The first time an HOUR before scheduled delivery. The second time the day before. The reason? A taillight needs to be fixed. It's been two weeks since they discovered the broken light. I was told two weeks at the longest. Welp. Here we are. Still waiting. Do I have any confidence at all that it will be delivered next week? None. Shameful.

  • Margaret Liverman

Everyone was friendly, helpful and patient.I talked to many employees and they helped me though the process even when my phone was not working well. They explained financing and how to send my information to them. Then my car came and I drove it and check it out. The carvana customer service helped to get the car fixed with a battery and tires. Every thing was fast and friendly. Thank you.

  • Ben Christensen

I would not recommend selling your car to them if time is not on your side. It took a week to wait for an appointment, the team member arrived an hour late to the appointment, and the appraisal took nearly an hour. We had to schedule another appointment 2 weeks from now to get the car reappraised. We will not be doing business with Carvana. Thank you anyways!

  • Travis Cassedy

After picking up my car and driving it home, I discover a slow leak in the tire and a box of "Fix-a-Flat" under the seat. Carvana stated that they had inspected the car and this was just an unfortunate coincidence. They refused to make right on the tire and the fact that the factory charging cable was also missing and replaced with a "new" aftermarket cable.

  • Lost Pilgrim

The online buying process was clear and easy. The day of pickup was mixed. We loved seeing the car come down the vending machine. Car was in good (not great) shape. Could have been cleaner. Customer service rep was terrible. Got the impression he didn't really care about the customer experience. Was not helpful at all when we experienced a few minor issues.

  • Randal Smith

Usually only dissatisfied people leave reviews so I wanted to leave a positive review regarding my experience. The purchasing experience was very easy and they did exactly what they said. Upon receiving the vehicle it had a small issue which they allowed the dealer to fix. It would have cost me $700. Now I have a perfect car! Thank you Carvana!

  • R Remo

Carvana has very competitive prices, enthusiastic employees and a fun experience. I sold my car very easily for top dollar. And I bought one for a great price. The delivery service is not so great. They had to reschedule on my 3 times, but I was composited for the inconvenience. They are busy so I understand and I wasn’t necessarily in a rush.

  • Amie Creighton

Hands down, this was the funnest car shopping experience to date! I know buying a car online may be somewhat out of the norm. I make A LOT of purchases online, why not a car?? We took a chance and I am so glad we did. This family has no plans to go back to a dealership in the future. ‍‍‍ High-five to Carvana! ️ …

  • Michael Trafton

Carvana is a scam. After charging $1500 in delivery fees and telling me delivery would take 3 days, it actually took 15 days. When I found out, they refused to refund the delivery fees even though the car had not left its original location. They told me to read the fine print - I could cancel the order, but I would lose my delivery fees.

I had a great experience with carvana. What an easy experience this entire process was. It was like a large car vending machine. I stopped my coin in the slot and out came my new suv. Of course there was a host of sorts to guide me around the facility. But there were absolutely NO salesman pitch whatsoever. Most of all I love my new SUV.

This review is for the sale of my car. I didn't go to any location. Just purely online. Great experience. They gave me the best offer. And came to my house at the scheduled time for inspection and pickup. I wish every car transaction could have been this seamless. Just relieving me of having to deal w dealerships alone is worth it.
