I initially loved Cavalier. They had positive reviews online and seemed to be very invested and cared about their products on social media. When trying on rings in store, my partner and I had a great experience. I was impressed with the ring that my fiance proposed with. However, this has been overshadowed by my experience with Cavalier resizing my ring. A few days after the proposal, I brought my ring in to be resized. But noticed, after pick up, that the area where it was resized had a distorted reflection. I immediately called Cavalier the next day and was reassured when the sales person told me to come in store at my next earliest convenience so they could take a look at it. When I brought the ring in, the sales person acknowledged that there was a distorted image but could only provide poor explanations and even blamed me for the issue. The only option the sales person provided me was to use my one complimentary maintenance service to see if buffing/polishing would help the issue. I was not happy with this offer as I am very careful and cautious when wearing my ring and being told to use my complimentary maintenance service on an issue I did not cause did not seem like good customer service. But I had to agree to this as this was the only option the sales person was willing to give me. When I went back to Cavalier to pick up my ring after maintenance, the issue was still not resolved. The ring looked in poorer condition as the diamond looked darker/greyer than before and the sales person was manually removing visible debris off the ring in front of me, even though my ring was supposed to have been deep cleaned during the maintenance process. The sales person was dismissive of my concerns and said it was the nature of the materials. I am disappointed in the service I received from Cavalier and looking at my ring is a constant reminder of this. This is supposed to be a happy and special occasion for couples and this experience has put a damper on the celebration. I hesitated in writing this review as I know that Cavalier does not care about customer concerns. But I felt the need to share my poor experience with Cavalier so other couples can make an informed decision when selecting a jeweller that is right for them and who will stand by their products and quality of their workmanship.

I had a perfect experience at Cavalier. My partner has always wanted an oval green sapphire engagement ring. Together we found that Cavalier was the place to go for all things sapphire and colourful stones. I had an appointment booked and while walking to the store I decided to check their Instagram page for confirmation of the inspiration of the ring. It was serendipitous to find that just an hour earlier Cavalier had posted a beautiful photo of a stunning oval green sapphire. Once in the store, I had the pleasure of meeting with Taylor who took me through the process and explained everything very well. I told her what I was looking for and she was very receptive to my requests. She showed me multiple stone options at different price points and different band customizations, but I knew almost instantly after seeing the one on Instagram that that was the stone for us. That was only further confirmed by seeing it in person. Taylor made the process simple and easy, which I really appreciated. The store has an incredible selection of sapphires and diamonds, and the staff really took care to meet all of the customizations I requested. The ring came out even more stunning than I could have imagined. I cannot wait to go back again for wedding bands.

Alexis was patient in letting me try on all the styles I had selected, then used her expertise to recommended I try on a ring that I would have never selected myself. Cavalier has the absolute best customer service. My (then) fiancé had an awesome experience building my engagement ring, which I couldn't love more. I held so much love for this ring in fact, that I struggled to find a wedding band that I felt complimented it, but didn't overpower it. Perisha worked with me over MANY appointments. She guided me to ensure a custom design was going to be durable and stand the test of time (unlike most of the photos on Pinterest). After not one, but two rounds of revisions, I have a ring I am in love with. Perisha, and Cavalier did everything to make me happy even though the revisions were based on my own decisions. They made me feel so assured throughout the process, telling me my happiness was the most important thing. I can't recommend them enough and would never look anywhere else for my anniversary bands and fine rings to come :)

My fiance has always wanted an emerald engagement ring, but options were few and far between locally. I reached out to Cavalier for a phone consultation and was very impressed by Dane. My fiance and I met with Taylor twice to discuss and try on engagement rings. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I was so excited to be getting my engagement ring from Cavalier. Where everything fell apart was that Taylor over promised and under delivered. We gave her our budget and diamond quality preference, which she said in store was 'no problem' and was super positive that she could provide what we wanted. However when it came down to it the diamonds she provided were either way over budget, or cloudy and yellowish. This was very disappointing especially since we were working within a tight time frame, so I feel like we wasted 2 weeks going back and forth. Thankfully we were able to get the perfect 1.5 carat super clear diamond ring for UNDER budget at another jewelers just in time.
