Central Museum Of Jaipur

It is also known as Albert Hall Museum. The Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur, is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the state museum of Rajasthan, India. The building is situated in Ram Niwas garden outside the city wall opposite New gate and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It is also called the Government Central Museum. The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob, assisted by Mir Tujumool Hoosein, and was opened as public museum in 1887. Maharaja Ram Singh initially wanted this building to be a town hall, but his successor, Madho Singh II, decided it should be a museum for the art of Jaipur and included as part of the new Ram Nivas Garden. It can be reached via bus, cab, and e-rickshaws easily. I visited it with my friends and just loved my trip.Ill tell you one trick to get cheaper tickets. Is that bring your student id if you are studying, doesnt matter in school of college just give them your student id and you'll have to pay very less as a student.I'll share few photos to help others see what it looks like. Love the place but all fun spoil by their traffic police. We just stand near to our Car but traffic police came and tow our car even we are standing near to car. We request to police to understand but the traffic police don't try to understand only he want's to tow car for unnecessary raising money using tickets.There are many cars stands near us but all are locals cars. Police only tow those vehicle who comes from other State. Rude behaviour by police with uneducated behaviour.

Authorities are following all the safety measures for visitors. This museum is located in Albert Hall near Ramniwas Garden on jln road. Music has very historical and rare items. There is a wonderful collection of old documents, mummy, weapons, artefacts, clothes, scripts of kings and emperors, many informative things have been kept along with their description. It is also written that it is a very good museum, must visit. Many people do photography outside the museum because its background is very beautiful.

I recently visited the Central Museum of Jaipur and was impressed by the extensive collection of artifacts on display. The exhibits provided a comprehensive insight into the history and culture of the region, and the museum itself was well-maintained and organized. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Central Museum of Jaipur for anyone interested in the rich heritage of Rajasthan.

Early rulers of the state have collected a lot of crafts, rare articles and souvenirs across the globe. Also you can find ancient rajastan temple sculptures, crafts and paintings done in the past 200 to 1200 years.

इसका निर्माण कार्य महाराजा सवाई राम सिंह द्वितीय द्वारा 1887 ईं में पूरा करवाया गया था। इस संग्रहालय की रूप रेखा कर्नल सर स्विंटन जेकब ने रची थी। कर्नल ने इस संग्रालय का डिजाईन वेल्स के राजकुमार, किंग एडवर्ड की भारत यात्रा के दौरान उनके लिए तोहफे के तौर पर तैयार किया था।
