"Guys do not visit the car park in this square it is operated by SMART PARKING they start charging from the point of entry on the access road before you even get out of your car to the point of exit when you leave the access road -- i got stuck in traffic just trying to turn around behind the precinct i didn't even intend to park next thing i received a parking charge notice (PCN) through my door -- i appealed and told them that i wasn't even intending to park but they still insist that i have to pay and now have referred the matter to debt collectors i suggest you go to a shopping centre that offers free parking like the fort dunlop shopping site"
"I want to visit a new Cafe in the square which is called The Note"
"It's a ghost town"
"a great place to get some veg also a comunity art centre where on a monday wednesday and saterday you can go with your children and paint and for the teenagers their are work shops to do your art projects and the older person work shops for knitting sewimg and many other art forms you can also donate to a charity in the cube itself"
"Its a dump, the fruit and veg shop and hardware store are wasted there, the discount store where Iceland used to be has already been taken over after 6 months or so"

I want to visit a new Cafe in the square which is called The Note. We had a warm welcomed by the owner. The cafe is not your normal size or typical cafe this one has a: barber, hair salon, kids playarea, table tennis, pool table, computer area, coffee lounge, stand alone piano and soon to be open dance studio. The owner explained he hopes to have music played there aswell. We thoughly enjoyed our time and wholeheartedly recommend a visit. The square itself needs regeneration, but the cafe makes it worth a visit.
It's a ghost town. Most of the shops lie empty and the whole place looks rundown and neglected. The same goes for the High Street ! Erdington is not a patch on what it used to be in the '80s. Makes me very sad to see what it's become. Central Square Shopping Centre is not a shopping centre anymore, by any stretch of the imagination.

Its a dump, the fruit and veg shop and hardware store are wasted there, the discount store where Iceland used to be has already been taken over after 6 months or so. The High st needs to be pedestrianised, instead of having to dodge around lazy drivers who insist on trying to park there when there is plenty of free parking around.
Terrible shops closing down .and it not very clean infact all the high street on erdington is horrible and not very clean to many betting shops, barbers, nail shops and Mediterranean shops as most of good food and clothing shops have closed down as moved on.its a shame it used to be a very nice shopping centre. ☹☹
Shops good value but careful if you're disabled or elderly when walking down main high street, there's a lot of pushing and running into you without a care. Also take care if you park in the Central Car park, even if your 2/3 mins over, you'll get a fine. And that's even if you have mitigating circumstances.
When food came after I went and inquired I was told it was on the hot plate, it was there unfortunately down to bad table service it arrived all shrivelled up the food was quite cold . As I was in a hurry I didn't have time to complain. So here it is dreadful. …
Central Square is now mostly empty & utterly dilapidated. Erdington high street itself continues its downward trajectory. The presence of stumbling ne'er-do-wells & various gurning odd balls adding to the air of some approaching dystopian collapse
This place used be a good shopping arcade but has lost its charm and it is a ghost of its previous self. Almost all the shops are are closed down. Infect whole of Erdington High Street is of the same picture so need a complete revamp
Sorry, it's not that I disliked the Square, but most of the shops are closed. However, great potential to open a business!!! Revive the community!!!! Spend locally in shops still there, like The Note, at the back and in the corner.
Quality items great shopping vibes all the brands and designer gear is on the same strip good to get to no all of them in one place and birmingham town centre is a big place to shop the only thing is there is two many buses
Utter toilet, signs for not feeding the birds, not one about. Run, flee, dingy, filthy, rundown, squalid. I think that sums it up. I would probably be locked up if I said what I actually think about the place and area.
Very good fruit & veg shop. Vacuum cleaner spares & household equipment shop. Soon there is to be a new coffee shop. Worst thing Is the amount of smokers that ignore the smoking ban and blatantly smoke in the arcade.
Run down, lots of empty units, feels like it has been left to deteriorate.Compared to the vibrant place it was many years ago when the post office & Iceland were there and the car parks are scary places too when quiet.
Erdington is an easy accessible place and I love to go there for shopping, the plus point of this high street is there are so many but small shops and you can visit all. Nice friendly people. Lots of Charity shops...
Very tired and dated, a lot of empty units and a sense being forgotten, needs a lot of love and attention. Looks like it's mainly used as a thoroughfare between the carpark and the main Street.
Dump, most shops closed down, drab, dreary, needs lots of refurbishment, got great potential as an entertainment centre and Erdington itself has great potential but needs lots of investment
A bit run down I'd say. Some empty spaces make the place look a bit sad. Hopefully the municipality will do something to bring this centre to its past glory and even better.
Well organized plenty of security staff around and that's a bonus of late they are very helpful to ,, I like it as it's all under one roof and plenty of nice's shop's
A lot of shops have closed down here which is a shame. BCC should think about rejuvenating the area as it is used by local people and those in the surrounding areas.
Dreadful place , most of the shops are polish, the rest are closed or charity shops, you struggle to understand the language, its like being in little Poland,
Great place to shop with various shops and cafes, place to sit and relax, but one of the best shoe repairs and key cutting in Birmingham is in the square
It's a shame all the shops are closed in the square that's why nobody bothers to walk up and look it needs a serious rethink to rejuvenate the square
Sorry but it's sad to see how Erdington has gone! Not many units open in the square. Too many Polish shops selling the same stock on the High Street
Sad to see most of the shops have closed down in the Square. When the post office was in the Square, the Square was good, now the Square is dead.
I HAVE BEEN IN ERDINGTON FOR 50 YEAR'S NOW. SOME GOOD DAYS HERE WHEN I WAS A CHILD WITH MY MUM. DO YOU REMEMBER ICE CREAM IN THE Square. I DO.
the place can be a gold mine I just wish I could afford the rent expensive. the fruit shop there is great and the people who own it are to.
If you go into the car park and the ticket machine isn't working don't drive out of the car park because the cowboys will find you £60
it a beautiful square. shame to much closed unit make it user friendly, especially for the young and old to relax and enjoy Erdington
Will never go any where else while they are trading, John & Jake are great blokes full of knowledge and advice and go the extra mile
Come to “the cube in the square” and help your local community. We can help you. And you can help us. Come along one day soon
A little square with a food store fresh fruit and veg shop charity shop and more worth a look will defiantly go back
Great sports shop with huge amount of product knowledge. This is the only shop I really use in this little precinct.
Not worth visiting. Nothing there. Unless you want to join the drunks. Such a shame as it used to be nice years ago
Badly needs some things to pull the crowd back, great shops there though; shame people don't go off the high street
What a shame completely run down and certain shops keeps give you creepy looks of you simply look inside the shop.
Not many shops left in this Precinct but there is an excellent frozen food shop well worth haven't got look at
There aren't many shops in the square. However, High Street has plenty of varied shops, restaurants and cafes.
Very old and run down although there are still good places to shop. The bakery, the cobblers, the butcher's.
Hardly anything here is open. Looks like it's dying, shop by shop. There's a sad and empty atmosphere.
This is where I get my easy Peel from, The owner of the store mark has been going for over 25 years,
Average shopping centre but like all shopping centres a lot of closed shops I was not too impressed.
I come from Small Heath & I like Erdington, it's one of my favourite shopping centres in Birmingham.
A Ghostown but the potentail for it to become a thriving shopping centre again is a few udeas away.
Would I shop there no way . I only went to specsavers. Could not get away quite enough not safe .
My goodness what a mess Erdington Has Become Been ASKED 5 TIMES BY SOME PEOPLE FOR MONEY ..
A good range of shops, friendly people and often low or comparable prices to entice us all
There are not many shops there now. I remember when it was a very vibrant and busy place.
More or less totally shut down, empty or closed down shops, very sad indeed... …
Complete dump nothing there over than a sports shop where you get harassed by the staff
It used to be good place. Now there is nothing interesting. Many shops closed for good.
Barren most shops closed. Not worth walking down. Would of given it a 0 if you could
Three shops in there all other shops empty need more businesses in the empty shops
Pleasant place to do a quick shop. Clean tidy and the atmosphere was nice! …
Love Erdington. So much places to go. Good variety of shops. Parking also not bad
Very tired and run down. Many store places empty. Good carpet off cut selection.
Used to be busy bustling area years ago now a ghost town with empty shops.
Gone downhill a lot over the last few years Many good shops have gone
The place used to be full of life sad to see every shop closed down.
Not so many shops as when the place first opened some 20 years ago
Nice green grocers there very friendly reasonable prices as well.
Nothing left in there shame to see what has happened to Erdington
Not a bad place to shop but could do with a bit of modernisation
The picture show this place to good it has no shops of interest.
Great coffee at Mr and Mrs Creamery.. They do great crepes too.
It's like a ghost town , all the shops are closing down …
Not many shops and very deserted. Looks and feels quite sad.
Hardly anything in there! Didn't feel comfortable in there!
Most of the shops are closed but it has so much potential.
Ok but not like it was a few years ago a bit run down now
Nothing there waste of time and effort walking through it
Great space, just needs a bit more shops in the square
