EDIT**** October 2022: warranty work has finally been completed with a few return trips to get it all done properly. The owner, Dave contacted me directly for an apology and to make sure the work was completed before issuing the final invoice. I understand there were employee and labor challenges along with Covid issues. He was not using it as an excuse but as an explanation. I did really appreciate this and realize the challenges owners face with running a business and trying to rely on other people. If it was strictly just dealing with Dave, I'm sure none of this would have happened. I still can't give full stars as it was beyond any reasonable type of expectation for delays and the lack of communication at the time was really poor. ___________________________________________ If I could give no stars, I would. We had our house exterior painted last Summer and this is what it was like in the Spring. I have tried to get the warranty work done since the Spring and have not been successful. It was eventually booked along with another small additional job but they didn't come with the warranty paint so left that undone. I was promised it would be dealt with asap but since then nothing. I have left multiple messages over several weeks with multiple people with no response. I have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism with communication or lack there of with existing customers. They want the new work and payment but a huge fail with warranty work. I've left another message this morning, again with no response. I'd be willing to rewrite my review, based on the outcome and follow through from the owner.

I had used CertaPro once before to paint the front wood siding of my house and decided to use them again based on quality of work and pricing. This time I needed the remaining sides (the old white stone, stucco finish) of the house to be painted due to a repair made around one of the windows. Dealt with Sharid in Fall 2019 to have a quote completed and reviewed options for paint. Work was completed in Spring 2020 within 1.5 days by Miguel and the finish was excellent. Settled on the elastomeric, 2 coat option which was a bit more expensive but I wanted a thicker coating to try and cover the repair seams. In the end the finish was better than expected as Miguel was able to keep the 2 coats light enough that you still have good texture of the stones showing through. Was also very happy with how the repair seam was covered (see attached pictures). If you are looking for a similar project to be completed I would recommend CertaPro and be sure to ask for Miguel's crew. Elastomeric paint for the stucco was sourced from Dulux and color matched to a Sherwin Williams paint color that I had used for the front of the house. The stucco repair was done by Moreno Stucco & Wire, another excellent company that I would recommend.

I ultimately like the way the house turned out, the process of getting the end result was grueling. The man they sent for the quote was friendly and polite, the painter they sent to do the work was lazy and sloppy. My neighbour said that he was sitting on his phone most of the time while i was at work. The job took longer than it should've, just shy of 2 weeks due to a miscommunication. There was paint put directly on my garage windows, garbage left onsite, paint speckle everywhere. One of the days the painter was supposed to show up in the morning he called me at 11 saying he wasn't going to make it. My cameras and doors were left taped for 3 days, it was a very annoying process. I specifically chose the week that i did so i would not have to spend my night shift set listening to painters and work being done outside my house, but since it took so long I was woken up twice and not to mention when the work was done the supervisor showed up unannounced to double check the work. I wouldn't use this company again or recommend them to my friends.

I contacted Certo pro in March 2015 to obtain an estimate to paint the exterior of two of our two-storey group homes. They responded quickly and Khal came over to do an estimate within a day. Khal was very professional and gave suggestions on the work that needed to be done to prepare the homes before painting. The estimate was very reasonable and I contracted Certa Pro to complete the project. As soon as the weather stabilized I was called to say that they would begin the next week. The crew that arrived worked very diligently to prepare the homes for painting without disrupting the lives of those that lived and work in the home. Both homes were completed within two weeks. Khal then came over the next week to "walk thru" to ensure we were satisfied. We also have a two year warranty on the work completed and I was told to contact him immediately if I noticed any touch ups that needed to be done. They did an amazing job and we have had many compliments! Thank you to Khal and his team. We will definitely recommend Certa Pro to others!

Outstanding company from start to finish. Nicole was polite and professional and very knowledgeable while quoting, noting my preferences. I did not need much painted as I did most myself but was unable to do the very high stairwell which included the upstairs hallway! Her quote was very reasonable so I booked it on the spot. They fit me in around my busy schedule and I got a call the day before from our painter, Sharid! He told me when he would arrive the next day and he was prompt. He worked hard and steady and his work was outstanding. I am very "anal" about painting and that is why I have not in the past hired anyone to paint. CertaPro and Sharid have changed my mind. I will hire them again when I need painting done. He took 2 days to complete the job; total quality workmanship! Professional and knowledgeable! I would recommend them to all that ask!

Had a condo unit re-painted by a contractor of CertaPro a year and half ago. Both the estimator and the contractor were friendly and efficient. The contractor fixed the big holes left on the drywall by the renter and re-paint the wall of unit except the bath. The cost was fair and reasonable . The reason I did not give 5 was that there were several areas on the wall had very thin layer of paint and some spots did not get re-painted at all. After the job, there was tiny bit of left-over paint. So it seems the contractor did not buy enough paint. The contractor did touch paint right after the walk-through. But after a while I found some more spots that I did the touch paint myself. Overall I was happy to work with them and satisfied with outcome. I will recommend them to my friends hope the contractors will not to try to save money on materials.

Lee came out to give a quote and did not give us any indication that we would need a third coat of paint and only quoted us for two coats. It is in the fine print of the contract that if they need to do a third coat they reserve the right to change the quote. After two coats they called to say they needed to do another coat and it would cost $1000 more which was more than the other quotes we received from other companies. They should give a range if 2 coats this is the amount but 3 coats will be this much more. At least we would not have felt blindsided. Doors and trim were missed and they came back to fix them. But then we realized more were missed but didn’t bother calling them back again. There was paint on the carpet. Marks showing through the paint, overall a poor paint job. We will not be repeat customers.

Very unprofessional business that I ever saw in my entire life. I agreed on the quote and price in March, and they were supposed to start the project in June and just 2 days before they withdraw from the project without any reason. They purposefully wasted my 3 months time, and all the time I have been chasing them if they are still up for the project. Very good in making false promises. This business earn a bad reputation from me. Update: June 24 2021 Response from owner is very misleading to public and away from the real truth. 1) Quote of $6500 had major repairs ($850) which was taken off in second quote. Second, quote of $4500 was prepared after commercial grade discount. 2) Why did they take 3 months to realize that project can't be done for $4500 and it's not aligned with market for sure.

I wouldn’t recommend this company. The painting was well done, my painter, Pablo (if I recall correctly) was very polite and did a great job. However, I had to constantly chase this company. After having Dave come out to assess my property for a quote, I had to chase him to receive said quote. After he took my deposit, I had to chase them for days to actually get an appointment. When my painter showed up, he didn’t have a ladder - he mentioned no one communicated with him what the job entailed. Now I’m struggling to pay my invoice because every time I call to inquire, no one knows what’s going on and has to “leave a message and someone will get back to me”. No one ever gets back to me. Their communication is awful and unprofessional... not worth the hassle, honestly.

CertaPro did an excellent job from start to finish. I called for a quote to renovate our office space. Nichole came to the site and provided a cost free quote and advised on colours. After accepting their very reasonable quote, we moved forward with the work - fixing some small holes in the drywall (picture hanging), prepping and painting walls and surfaces. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend George. He was clean, considerate and worked around my schedule. I would definitely call them again for any other painting, and certainly recommend CertaPro to others. They are truly professionals in their field.

I recently had the exterior of my home repainted by CertaPro Painters. We asked CertaPro to repaint our home with the existing color. They prepped the house quite well and removed loose paint. When they started painting we quickly realized they had the wrong color. We called CertaPro and sent photos of the color discrepancy. CertaPro acknowledged the error, corrected the mistake by properly matching the color and resumed painting the following day. The job was finished on time. Mistakes can always happen but it's how a business reacts to correct the error that is important to us. CertaPro acted quickly and made it right.

Very pleasant individuals to deal with when getting the quote and trustworthy to have in our home to paint but the paint job was terrible. Done and promised in 3 days and the third day was obviously rushed. Good point was that the painter returned to complete the fixes that we noticed.....but for some reason did not fix everything. Lots of missed spots, old paint showing through and paint left on joining walls that were not supposed to be painted. Will not use in the future and will not recommend. A lot of money paid when we could have had much better quality elsewhere.

I used certa-pro to paint my ceiling recently! Dave came and did a visual estimate and took some pictures for the team! He was very professional and responsive and I was very happy with the estimate and the turnaround time. The admin staff were great as well in setting up my deposit and scheduling the work. All the behind the scenes work was handled very well! Then it came to the painting and I was absolutely thrilled with the work that was done! I would 100 percent recommend certa pro for all of your painting needs! I will definitely let other know!

We hired Certa Pro to paint our eavestroughs and soffits. They were very professional from the sales rep who came to quote the job and explain the process to the painters who completed the work. They did a great job prepping the house and then painting without getting any paint on the siding. The work was done in two days. The painters were excellent and very courteous and professional. The site was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the project. We are very happy with the end result and highly recommend them for any exterior painting projects.

I am completely satisfied with the Job CertaPro painters completed for me. I met Nicole at the home show and explained the poor condition of my 60 year old home to her. She sent out Khal who inspected the property and gave me a few options on how to proceed. I never felt pressured in any way. He gave me a fair quote and explained everything that would be done. Very professional, full detailed quote. The final invoice matched the quoted price. All the work was completed in a timely fashion and the final product turned out very well. They were very polite and helpful. They did have to return to paint the doors which were missed on initial painting, but when that was pointed out they corrected the concern promptly. Only concern I had was that they could of done a better job of outside clean up after job was completed. Overall I would recommend them to others.

We had to arrange extensive renos from a distance with Sharid. Painting the entire condo of approximately 3000sg ft over three floors including ceilings, closets, four bathrooms, double garage and sealing the garage floor. As well 1300sq ft of vinyl plank flooring. This work was completed in our absence and beyond our expectations. Also all renos were completed on time and within budget. Khal came out to look the work over and was willing to develop a work plan that was dynamic. One coat or two depending on how it looks, whether or not to paint borders etc. Very cost contentious to ensure we didn't pay for unnecessary work. Corrine and Jeff came out to paint and they were very skilled completing a very professional job. Our home has 10 -13' ceilings and many features requiring care to cut in the lines and all was done very well. We are quite pleased with the outcome.

Exceptional customer service from start to finish. We were in a bit of a rush to get the front windows of our house painted, and Barb came by the very next day to quote on the project and worked wonders to ensure someone would help us out in time for us to sell our home. These guys were absolutely amazing ! Miguel and his son came and did our 2000 square foot house in only three days . The two of them were absolute work horses and didn’t seem to take any breaks . They did not send a crew of painters like they said they would do. Prep of aluminum siding was not done properly. It was taking much longer than they said. Did not show up on a perfect weather day. Overspray everywhere. Paint is now peeling off because of poor workmanship. I would have given zero stars if possible. Would not recommend.

Give them a 3 star- as the painters had to keep coming back to fix things and didn't hang things properly but overall they tried there best. Even with the price was perfect but I still can't believe im fixing things the painters had messed up. I would say if ur painting take ur time. No need to rush.
